I was doing my usual thinking inside my bedroom, looking at my bulletin board filled with different photos of people, who I suspect to be 'Cronus' the person who I have been hunting down for a whole year now, and news articles that I found in the web or on the paper and different strings attached to it, then suddenly someone knocked on my door, causing me to get startled a little, "I am coming!" I yelled as I walked out of my bedroom, into the living room and to my door. When I opened my door I saw my landlady, Mrs. Blanchett, and a brown-haired boy, who seems to be the same age as me, with luggages right at his hand, with quite fascinated eyes, giving me a hint that this is his first time in the city, and has some quite similar features as Mrs. Blanchett, standing right beside her.

I then sighed since I knew what does this mean "Mrs. Blanchett, don't tell me that your country-bumpkin nephew is gonna be my new roommate?" I asked her with a quite tired voice, and as usual she is surprised on how I was able to guess that the boy beside him is his nephew "How did you- Never mind... " She said to me then looked right at me "Lux, as you already said, this is my nephew, Bonfils Baudin, he is the same age as you and he is gonna be your new roommate since he will be attending the same high school as you starting by Monday." She explained to me while I have my poker face on the whole time. And Bon looked at me with a smile on his face, giving me more reason why I should get him out of MY apartment as soon as possible.

I groaned at hearing that but I still opened the door widely for my new roommate then looked at him "Come on..." I said to him while tilting my head to the inside of my apartment. He then walked in, excited of the new city-life he will be experiencing.

As soon as Mrs. Blanchett went I closed the door and looked at the country-bumpkin boy "So... As my aunt said I am Bo-"

"Bonfils Baudin, 16 years old like me, from Ploumanac’h, Brittany, from a vastly wealthy family, loves doing sports activities such as basketball, surfing etc, and you have a fiance who you know is cheating on you but you didn't mind at all since you were cheating on her too...." I said to him, cutting him off, while going to my kitchen and getting the 2 prepared café liégeois from my fridge.

The boy then looked at me shocked "Did my aunt told you that? Wait a minute, I didn't told my aunt that my fiance is cheating on me and I am cheating on her, so how the hell do you know?" He asked me frantically, I rolled my eyes while eating my café liégeois "Oi! TELL ME HOW YOU KNOW!!" He yelled at me, making me glare at him "Chill...." I then said in a quite tired voice "I know since I thoroughly observed you by just looking at you..." I told him a quite tired voice once again...

"What do you mean by that?" He asked me once again, but in a rather calm voice "Just what it sound like, duh..." I said to him with my eyes rolling again and taking another bite of my café liégeois...

"Okay then tell me, how did you know just by observing at ME?" He asked me while walking towards my direction, emphasising the word 'Me'. I groaned, then look at him eye-to-eye "First, I was able to tell your Mrs. Blanchett's nephew by the similarities of your looks, second, I know your name, not just because of your aunt but by doing research at the owners of this apartment complex 3 years ago, before I moved in, third, I know you from Ploumanac'h, Brittany because of some of the pink sand grains on your pants and some on your top, fourth I know your from a vastly wealthy family since your a Baudin, and it is said that the Baudin's are the wealthiest family in Ploumanac'h, Brittany, fifth, I know you love doing sports activities because of the tanning difference on your body and because of the callousness of you hands and sixth, I know you have a fiance because of the faint lipstick mark on your cheek and because of a hickey right on your neck and I know your cheating on your fiance since you have a faint scent of 2 different cologne for women..." I said to him my thorough observation, leaving him in shock, while I eat my 2nd café liégeoi.

"Wha-what the..." He said stutterintg, obviously still in shock of how much I knew about him by just looking at him. There was then a few minutes of silence until I put my dirty glasses inside the dish washer, then looked at him "Your room is right over there by the way." I said to him while pointing my fingers on a door of an empty room "I am going to my room, which is right over there, so if you need anything just knock or call my name..." I said to him, then walked to my room "Wait a minute!" He yelled when I was about to open my door, I then turned to him "What?" I asked him, with a quite annoyed tone "What's your name?" He then asked. Does this boy not listen to his aunt or something??? I sighed "My name is Luxio Rome... But you can call me Lux... Now ciao~" I answered his question with a good bye then entered my room then locked the door and looked to my phone which is on my desk.

"Huh.... Looks like I have to make a phone call now..." I said to myself, out loud, then walked towards my desk, took my phone and dialed a number. The my phone was ringing till I heard that somebody has picked up the call "What is it do you need, Lux?" The familiar voice asked me "New roommate, so you know what I want..." I answered him, while thinking and looking at my bulletin board "Oh... okay then... You know you should really stop doing this trick, it's getting old..." He said to me, while I hear the rattle of machinery at the other line's background "Yeah, yeah... His name is Bonfils, and deliver as early as 5 AM, okay...?" I said to him with a follow-up request "Okay, see you then..." He said to me then hanged-up then call. I then sighed as I sat down on my chair "Well... Let's see if you'll fall at this trick as my other roommates before you..." I said to myself, quite excited on what was going to happen next...

For the rest of the day, me and Bonfils didn't talk to one another since I remained in my room the whole time, still racking my brain. And like everyday of my life, the whole day went by like an arrow, it is now Sunday and I woke up at 5 AM and waited outside the apartment for the delivery I made.

A stood there for a good 30 minutes, then suddenly "Lux!" the guy that I am meeting finally came, calling out my name as he runs through the halls. I then looked at him "Took you long enough, Jacques..." I said to him.

...Jacques has been my friend for almost 12 years, Jacques came from a family of engineers so he got into the habit of making things and I always test it out for him, to make sure it's not dangerous and so that he wouldn't let anyone use this for this is unsafe. But I distanced myself from him so that I can avoid the risk of him being harmed by the mastermind of the Cronus case....

He then laughed it off "Sorry..." He apologized but continued to laugh softly "So where is it?" I asked him, while looking at the hall making sure nobody followed him "Here!" He then threw the hard drive at me and I catched it, of course, "Thanks... You can go now..." I said to him and he then smiled softly at me and started walking away while waving "Bye!" He said to me then ran off. I went in my apartment as soon as I was sure that Jacques is safe.

I went straight to my room then to my desk and booted up my computer. As soon as it fully loads, I attached the hard drive to the computer and opened the audio file, as soon as I opened it, it then released an old man's ghostly moans and calling out Bonfils.

If you are wondering what am I doing? Well, let's say I am trying to scare off Bonfils by attaching this audio recording to a microphone that I'll set up in the bathroom later and in his bedroom when he's away. And if that didn't worked immediately I'll just simply repeat it for a few days till he moves out of here.

If you don't know my apartment has been labeled to be haunted by ghosts a lot of the time since every time I have a new roommate I always use this recording so that I can scare them off and I do this trick every time I get a new roommate, thus my apartment has been rumored to be haunted by ghosts.

But believe me, I don't believe in ghosts! For me it's just a made up fairytale to scare off children, and regardless off those videos that are found online, there's still no physical proof that ghosts actually exists, like how people nowadays thinks that the Earth is FLAT! I seriously don't get how a human being with a working brain can think something like that?!

As soon as I attached the hard drive to the microphone, I went to the bathroom and attached it behind the toilet so that the sound can bounce off and so that it can get louder. But since I was there I decided to take a quick shower so that I could feel clean.

As soon as I was done showering I went to my room and picked out my clothes which is a sleeveless shirt, with stripped shirt of blue-and-white and pink-and-white, then white denim shorts.

It is now 6 AM, so I started making breakfast for myself, why only for myself? Well, I have a rule that everything you do around this place shouldn't bother or concern anyone and doing your own laundry and making your own breakfast is one of them...

Anyhow I decided to make a Japanese breakfast for breakfast so, I made Tamagoyaki, Katsudon, fresh strawberry milk and Habutae mochi.

As soon as I started plating for myself, on the counter table of the kitchen, the bedroom door of Bonfil's room then opened "That smells nice..." He said to me in a to tired voice then yawned "Thanks..." I said in a not-so-interested voice, I then noticed Bongils looking around in the counter, probably looking for his own plate of Tamagoyaki, bowl of Katsudon, a glass of fresh strawberry milk and a little plate of Habutae mochi, "If you are looking for food that I made for you then don't expect any since in this place you gotta do everything on your own..." I said to him as I took a bite of my Katsudon. "Uhhh... What?" He said to me in a quite surprised expression.

Okay... This just means that he has never been into a kitchen where there's no food waiting for him... He probably gets breakfast in bed by his maids most of the time...

"Chill..." I said to him "In a few minutes maybe, just maybe, Mrs. Blanchett might come here and give you food..." I continued saying as I took a bite of my Tamagoyaki "Ugh..." He groaned while rolling his eyes "I'll just go take a shower and eat at a cafe..." He said to me, whilst standing up from his stool, I myself smirked slightly.

As soon as he entered in the bathroom I went to my room and took a remote control that let me plays the audio recording whenever I want. I should wait a few minutes before I use it....

So after a good 3 minutes I pressed the play button and hid it quickly and started eating my Tamagoyaki once again, waiting for him to come out of the bathroom freaking out. After awhile he then went out of the bathroom, with just a towel covering his bottom part, and with a quite terrified expression on his face, I successfully was able to hide my smirk and hold my laughter. I then looked at Bonfils confused "Oi! Are you trying to show-off your body?" I asked him sarcastically, then he looked at me "Cause if you are, it ain't working on me, dip(QUACK •>•)!" I said to him, yelling "D-did you hear th-that?" He asked me in a still quite terrified face and with his voice cracking slightly. Looks like my plan is working... I then looked at him confused and tilted my head a little "Did I heard what dip(QUACK •>•)?!" I asked him, yelling "N-nothing... " He said then went back to the shower, then as soon as he turned back I hit the pause button and then finished my breakfast.

...[By the way, I want this to be a quite clean series so everytime I an gonna be using some dirty or bad words I am going be using the (QUACK •>•) for the f and s word, then bench for the b word and many more but I am very sure you guys will figure it out... ]...

The whole day went by quickly and as what Bonfils said he did went out to go eat in a cafe giving me a chance to go to his bedroom and attach the microphone there quickly, but there was a little pending since he locked the door but, of course, I knew how to lock pick so my plan went without a hitch, then I went on my usual day as I finished doing that.

Then when nightfall hits I was eating my dinner which is a salisbury steak, some green peas and carrots then a glass of grape juice, not wine grape juice.

"Okay I am going to bed..." Bonfils then said to me as he was about to hold the door knob "Okay, goodnight..." I said to him as I continued eating. Then after 4 minutes I hitted the play button and continued eating...

After 15 minutes, he went out and threw the microphone on the floor while I was putting my dirty dishes inside the dishwasher, I was shocked on how he found the microphone "What the heck is that?!" He asked me furiously "Wow... Now that's a first..." I said to myself then picked up the crushed microphone "What do you mean?!" He asked me once again "I meant, your the first to figure out this trick...." I said to him calmly as I threw the crushed microphone in the trash "Wha-What?" He asked me stuttering, visibly confused "Well..." I yawned as I said that "I think you'll figure it out tomorrow... so for now night'!" I said to him as I went inside my room and locked my door, leaving Bonfils confused as heck...

"Heh... Now thats really interesting..." I said to myself as a smirk crept up to my face.

"Can you explain to me what did you mean by, I am the first to figure out your trick?" Bonfils asked once again while both of us were going down from our apartment floor "Exactly what I meant..." I said to him once again, in an annoyed tone and while rolling my eyes "Okay, I am still confused..." He says "As I said, you will figure out everything eventually. .." I said to him as I opened the door of the apartment lobby and went out to the parking lot "You said I'll figure out everything TODAY, not eventually, TODAY!" He said to me, emphasising the word 'Today' "Whatever..." I said to him the rolled my eyes and started up my motorbike.

"That's yours?!" He asked me, surprised while pointing at my bike "Yeah, why? You don't have your own lift?" I asked him as I sat down on the seat. He looked away, embarrassed "So you don't have a lift..." I answered for him, while putting on my helmet "Yeah...." He confirmed, I sighed "Well come on..." I said to him while tapping the back seat of my bike "Wait what?" He asked me, visibly confused "I am offering you a lift for free, duh..." I said to him while I continued tapping the back "Oh heck no!" He said to me, rejecting my offer "Okay then... Enjoy walking for 10 miles just to get to school and arrive around lunch-time..." I said to him then started going "Wait!" He said to me making me stop, I looked at him annoyed "What?" I asked him in a annoyed tone "I'll ride with you..." He then said "Okay, here!" I accepted his request then gave him a extra helmet that I have "Thanks..." He thanked me while putting on the helmet "Yeah, yeah come on! I don't have all day!" I complained to him and he hurriedly sit on the back seat, and I started driving.

We drove for a good 18 minutes till we reached the school, but as soon as we arrived we then noticed that the crowd is looking at the rooftop and and there's news reporters there, I quickly parked my car and went inside the school "Hey, whats happening?" Bonfils asked me as I hurriedly go to the rooftop with Bonfils right behind me "That's what were about to find out...." I said to him when we reached to the top floor and I opened the door meeting the teachers, principal, a police squad and a crying girl right at the edge of the roof.

"Step away from the edge, sweetie!" One of the police said to the girl "NO!" The girl said and continued sniffling, I looked at Bonfils for a quick second and saw that he is visibly shocked and terrified at what he is seeing. Chief Faucher then noticed me and quickly went toward my front "Thank God, Lux your here! Help us!" He requested, making Bonfils have a visibly confused face "Come on, you guys have biting to worry about!" I said to them "What do you mean Lux?" One of my teachers then said to me, also confused "That girl has no intentions on suicide since she's too much of a whimp!" I said to them, obviously teasing the girl "But anyways. Go on jump!" I yelled out loud to the girl making everyone there surprised on what I said and making some complain "Huh?" The girl said while sniffling "Come on jump! No one will miss you anyways!" I continued making everyone more pissed at me "T-Thats not true!" The girl said as tears kept flowing down her face "M-My m-mom and m-my d-dad will m-miss me!" She said to me as she cries harder "Oh please, I bet your parents will be happy that there burden is gone!" I said to her, making everyone more furious at me and some saying that I should stop. Thc! These people obviously doesn't know what I am doing! "N-NO Y-YOUR LYING!" The girl shouted back at me "Really? Then jump!" I said to her, making her furious at me and then she started running towards me "I'LL KILL YOU!" She yelled at me then Chief Faucher got a hold of her before she can hit me. "Well since thats done I am gonna tour this new country-bumpkin student now, bye!" I bid good bye while dragging Bonfils away.

As soon as Bonfils got back to his senses, he immediately jolted and I can tell he is surprised that we are already in the bottom floor and I am just getting my canned ice coffee in the vending machine "Why the heck did you tell that to the girl?!" He yelled at me as I opened the canned ice coffee "It did made the girl step away from the edge, right?" I said to him then I drink my coffee "Yeah... But still, you can't suicide bait a random girl!" He yelled again to me "And how do you know the police?" He asked me "Oh gosh too much questions..." I said then I groaned "Okay, first off, I only said those depressing crap so that she could get off since all I did is reverse psychology anyways and second, I know the police since I have been helping them with crimes ever since I was still 10 years-old, alright. Geez..." I answered his questions then I continued drinking my ice coffee "Y-You help the police?" He asked once again, I groaned as I hear him question me again "Yes! You know what how about we take a tour around the school since I am the school's spokesman and I have been assigned to tour you, and you can ask any question you want while we're on a tour, okay?" I requested it so that I can do my job while answering his stupid a** questions "I guess..." He answered me "Good! Now let's go so I can still be in class after lunch time! Just try to keep up, since this place is huge!" I said to him while walking and him following me "O-Okay..." He said to me and just like that we did a tour of the school while he is asking me questions, and oof course I refused to answer a question when it's very personal.

"Okay so do you have any questions regarding about the tour?" I asked him as we stopped at the front of the cafeteria as all the dish at the background, clatters "I don't think so anymore..." He then said "Thank you! Now let's go eat!" I said to him then went to my reserved table and took out my bento box "Hey, can I sit next to you?" Bonfils asked, sigh "Fine, I grew quite fond of you anyway..." I accepted his request and I continued eating my tempura and katsudon. I love katsudon.... Upon accepting his request to sit with me within 10 minutes of lunch, the school's number 1 'Spoiled Rich Boy' then fell down from his seat to the floor. I ran over to see what was happening, then after a quick inspection "He is poisoned and the poison is in the scone that he ate! The clinic is already way to busy Bonfils call 112!" I said to them while giving Bonfils an order to call the emergency hotline "Yeah, yeah already taking care of it!" He said to me as he calls the hotline. After awhile the security guards came in and evacuated the whole cafeteria.
