This is a story about demons, angels and humans that live in a world together. Two siblings (Zane and Zaire Knight) learn of a gift/curse they have after the mysterious death of their parents. While another boy (Lazarus Laurier) trains for hunt and kills these demons after the death of his parents.

......Chapter One......

...Lazarus Laurier past (16)...

Lazarus Laurier was walking through the hallway to the stairs that lead to living room. His parents have called him downstairs to talk to him bout school. He was 16 now and it was time for to start going to school. He was homeschooled til now. Lazarus reached the living room and saw his parents sitting on the couch. He went over to them and sat between them. "Lazarus sweety. You will be starting school tomorrow. I want you to be good and have a nice day." his mom said. "Why do i have to go to school. I thought you guys were homeschooling me," Lazarus asked. "Now son we've talked bout this. Me and your mother have to go for away for a bit for work. Your aunt is gonna come stay with you while we are away," his father answered. Lazarus looked at the floor ten at his parents. "Promise you will come back safe," Lazarus finally said in a sad voice. "Aww sweety we promise we will be back. Now dont be sad. Im sure you will make lots of friends tomorrow," his mother said while hugging her son. Lazarus hugged his mother back. "Now son off to bed. We will wake up in the morning for school," his father said. Lazarus stood up and went to the stairs. "Night love you both," Lazarus said then started walking up the stairs. "Night Sweety," his mother said. "Night son," his father said. Lazarus went into his room and got into bed. He laid down and closed his eyes.

The next morning Lazarus woke to his mom calling him. "Lazarus dear its time to get up and get ready for school or your gonna be late," his mother yelled. Lazarus got up and went into the bathroom. He brushed his teeth then got dressed. After he was ready he went downstairs and into the kitchen. "Here's your breakfast. Once you have finished eating i will take you to school," his father said. Lazarus just nodded and started eating. After a few minutes he was finished. He went to the living room and got his shoes on. Then he followed his mom to the car. Once they got in his mom started the car and they headed towards the school. Once they arrived his mother hugged him. "By sweety have a nice day. Your Aunt May will be picking up after school. We will see you in a few days," his mother said. "By mom be careful while your away. I love you both," Lazarus said. "We love you too dear. Now i gotta go," his mother said. "By mom," Lazarus said then shut the car door and walked towards the school. Once he walked inside he looked around when a boy approached him. "Hey are the new kid by chance," the boy asked. Lazarus looked at him then nodded his head. "Im gonna take you around the school. My names Owen wats yours," the boy said. "Im Lazarus," he replied. "Nice to meet you. I hope we can be friends," Owen said with a smile. "Yea," Lazarus said with a slight smile. "Come on lets go," Owen said then grabbed Lazarus hand. Lazarus followed Owen around the school. After school Owen was with Lazarus while he was waiting for his Aunt. "Owen you dont have to wait with me," Lazarus said. "I know but im going to. Im your friend so i dont mind waiting," Owen replied with a smile. After a few minutes Lazarus's Aunt pulled up. She got out of the car and stood beside it. "My Aunt is here Owen. I gotta go," Lazarus said. "Alright I'll see you tomorrow Lazarus," Owen said then hugged Lazarus. After the hug they said bye to each other then parted ways. "Are you ready Lazarus," his Aunt asked. "Yes Aunt May," Lazarus replied. They got into the car then left. A week pasted and Lazarus parents came back home.

Lazarus went to school the next day. When he got there he saw Owen talking to a girl. Owen saw Lazarus and he waved at him with a big smile. "Lazarus come over here," Owen yelled. Lazarus went over to him. "Lazarus this is my friend Casey. Casey this is my friend Lazarus," Owen said. "Hi," Lazarus said to the girl. "Hi" Casey replied with a smile. "Owen are you coming over after school," Lazarus asked. "Of course i am," Owen said with a smile. "Hey guys i gotta go to class," Casey said. "Bye see you later," Owen said. "Bye," Lazarus said. "Bye," Casey said then left. Lazarus and Owen then went to class. After school Owen and Lazarus stood on the side walk waiting for their ride. "Lazarus did they forget they were suppose to pick you up," Owen asked. "I dont think so. Mom said she would be here," Lazarus replied. They waited for a while when a teacher walked over. "Do you want to call someone," the teacher asked. "Yea," Lazarus replied. They followed the teacher into the school. They went into the office. The teacher gave Lazarus a phone to call home. When no body answered he called his Aunt. "My Aunt is gonna come get us," Lazarus said sadly. Owen hugged Lazarus. "Dont be sad maybe they are busy," Owen said. They went outside the office. Aunt May came into the school and went towards the office. "Lazarus are you and your friend ready," Aunt May asked. "Yes we're ready," Lazarus replied. Owen and Lazarus follwed Aunt May to the car and everyone got in

...Death...

When they got to the house they all got out of the car. Lazarus mom came out of the house. She went over and hugged Lazarus. "Aww sweety im so sorry. We were busy," his mother said. "Its alright mom," Lazarus said. "Dear let him be he has his friend over," Lazarus dad yelled from the house. Lazarus mom let go of him and stood up. "You must be Owen," his mom said. "Yep," Owen replied from behind Lazarus. "You two can go up to Lazarus room," his mother said. "Come on Owen," Lazarus said then lead Owen inside to his room. Lazarus sat his backpack on his bed. "You can set your bag down anywhere you want," Lazarus said. Owen sat his bag beside his. "Wanna play a game," Lazarus asked Owen. "Yea," Owen replied. They played games til Lazarus mom called them for dinner. They went downstairs to the dinning room. "Lazarus sweety i made your favorite," his mom said. "Thanks mom," Lazarus said. Owen grabbed Lazarus shirt which caused him to stop eating and look at him. "Something wrong Owen," Lazarus whispered. "Wheres your bathroom at," Owen whispered back. "Upstairs across the hall from my room," Lazarus answered. "Thanks," Owen said then got and went upstairs. "Lazarus is he your only friend," his dad asked. "I met a girl named Casey today. She is one of Owens friends," Lazarus replied. "So he is your only friend," his dad said. "Yes he's my only friend," Lazarus said looking at his food. "Dont bother him dear. Let it be. He will make more friends as the year goes on," his mom said. "We sent him to school to make friends dear," his father said. "He will make friends. Just give him time," his mom said. "He's just too shy. He hardly even talks to us," his dad said. "Now hun let him be," his mom said. Lazarus stood up and ran upstairs and into his room. Owen was walking down the stairs at the time but he stopped when he saw Lazarus. Owen heard Lazarus parents arguing downstairs. He decided to go talk to Lazarus. "Lazarus are you alright," Owen asked standing in the doorway. Lazarus didnt answer just stood by the window and looked out. Owen walked over to Lazarus and hugged him. "Lazarus are you alright," Owen asked again. "Yea im alright," Lazarus replied. "Wats on your mind," Owen asked then backed away so Lazarus could turn around and face him. "My dad said i need to make more friends and my mom wants him to leave me alone. Making friends takes time and well your my only friend," Lazarus said. Owen hugged Lazarus again. "Lazarus your my best friend. But yea it does take time to make friends and you've only been in school for a month. Umm but your parents are fighting downstairs," Owen said. "Oh dont worry bout that. They will stop after a while," Lazarus said. "Lets play the game," Owen said with a big smile. "Yea," Lazarus said with a smile.

The next morning Lazarus mother came into the room. "Boys time to get up," she said. Lazarus woke up then sat up. "Ok," Lazarus said. "I made breakfast get dressed and come down," she said then walked out. Lazarus got out of bed without waking Owen. He went into the bathroom and got ready. When he got back to the room he saw Owen was still asleep. Lazarus went over to the bed to wake up Owen. "Owen its time to get up. My mom made us breakfast," Lazarus said. Owen woke up and looked at Lazarus. "Im up," Owen said while sitting up. Lazarus handed Owen his bag. "Get ready. I will wait for you here," Lazarus said. "Thanks," Owen said getting up out of bed. He took his bag and went into the bathroom and got ready. After a few minutes he came out and went to Lazarus. "Alrighty lets go," Owen said. Lazarus went out and Owen followed. "There you boys are," Lazarus mom said. Lazarus looked around and saw he couldnt see his dad. "Your father went out for work early today. Now come and eat your breakfast," his mother replied. Owen and Lazarus started eating. After eating they followed Lazarus mother to the car. Once they all got in the car she deove them to school. "Now sweety tou nad friend have a good day at school," his mom said. "We will mom," Lazarus said then closed the door and walked away. Owen followed him to the school where they ran into Casey. "Hi guys," Casey said. "Hi Casey," Owen said. "Hi," Lazarus replied. "Are you ready for this assembly today," Casey asked. "No," Lazarus and Owen replied at once. Casey laughed and turned around. "Class is gonna start soon," Casey said then went inside the school. Owen and Lazarus followed her in. Afterwards they went to their classes.

After school Lazarus was waiting for his mom to pick him. After a few minutes a car pulled up. It was a cop car. Two officers came out of the car amd walked over to Lazarus. "Are you Lazarus Laurier," one officer asked. "Yes," Lazarus replied. "Can you come with to the station. Your Aunt May is waiting for you there," the other officer said. Lazarus went with them to the police station. When they got there and went in. Lazarus saw his Aunt May crying. When she saw him she ran over to him. "Lazarus im so sorry. Your parents were killed by some animal," his Aunt said. Lazarus stood there for a minute then hugged his Aunt and started to cry.

Zane knight was walking down the hallway when he stopped at his sister's door. "Zaire get up and get ready or we are gonna be late for school," Zane yelled through the door. "Go away Zane im getting ready," Zaire yelled back. "Zane Zaire come one your gonna be late," their mom yelled. "Coming mom," Zaire yelled while leaving her room. "Your slow," Zane said to Zaire. "Shut up Zane," Zaire said. They went into the living room. "Good god you two. Come on we are gonna be late," their mom said. "Coming," Zaire said. They followed their mom to the car and got in. They arrived at the school and Zane and Zaire got out. "Bye kids love u both have a good day at school," their mom said. "Byr mom love u too," Zaire said. "Bye," Zane said then closed the door. "Zane," someone yelled while walking towards them. Zane went to him. "Hey Dakota," Zane said. "Why you late man," Dakota asked. "Had to wait on Zaire she is slow," Zane replied. "Oh i see," Dakota said then laughed. Zane grabbed Dakota's arm. "Lets get goin," Zane said as he pulled him away. As they were walking down they hall to class somebody bumped into Zane causing him to drop his book. "Im sorry," the person said picking up Zane's book and handing it to him. "Its alright. I should of been watching where i was walking," Zane replied while taking his book. Zane looked at the persons face and saw that he was crying. The person wiped his eye's then left from there. "Dude that guy was crying," Dakota said. "Yea i hope he's alright," Zane said. "Im sure he is. Now lets get to class," Dakota said as he dragged Zane towards class. Once they reached the classroom Zane stopped. "Something wrong bro," Dakota. "I gotta run to bathroom," Zane replied then headed towards the bathroom. Dakota entered the classroom and told the teacher where Zane went.

Zane entered the bathroom and saw a boy crying in the coner. He realized it was the person who bumped into him. "Hey man are you alright," Zane asked him. The boy looked up at Zane. Zane crouched down infront of the boy. "Im Zane," he said. "Im Aiden," the boy replied as he wiped his tears. "Are you alright," Zane asked. Aiden looked at him then started to cry again. Zane kneeled down on the ground and hugged him. "You dont have to tell me considering we just met," Zane said. Aiden sat there shocked for moment then hugged Zane back and continued to cry. After a few minutes Aiden stoped crying and they separated. "Thanks for that. Sorry bout your jacket," Aiden said lookin at the jacket. "It will live. Are you alright now," Zane replied. "Yes thank you," Aiden replied then stood up. Zane stood up and took his jacket off then throw it over Aidens shoulders. "I gotta head back to class. Keep the jacket if you need to talk come find," Zane said. "Thank you. I'll keep that in mind," Aiden replied. "Anytime," Zane said with a smile then left. Aiden stood there for a moment then left the school.

After school Zane went to look for Zaire. He found her talking to her best friend Faye Barnhart. "Ugh there's my brother," Zaire said. Faye tured to see Zane walkin towards him. Zaire saw someone stop Zane. Faye looked over at Zaire. "Do you know who that is," Faye asked. "No but Zane seems to know them. He is wearing Zanes jacket," Zaire replied. "Zane right," Aiden asked. "Yep and your name is Aiden," Zane replied. "I just wanted to thank you again for helpin me," Aiden said. "Hey no problem. Are you alright you look sad," Zane replied. "Yes im alright," Aiden said. Just then another peraon approached them. "Aiden we need to go," the person said. "Right by Zane," Aiden said then went with the person. "See you," Zane replied then went over to Zaire. "Who was that Zane," Zaire asked. "His name is Aiden. Now lets go moms here," Zane replied as their mom was pulling up. Zaire hugged Faye and told her good bye. After they got in the car they drove home.

Once they arrived home Zane got out of the first and went inside to his room. Zaire helped their mom to get some groceries out of the car then they went in. "How was school sweetie," their mom asked. "It was good. Faye got asked out again then turned them down," Zaire replied laughing. "Im glad u guys had a good day," their mom said. "When's dad comin home," Zaire asked. "Before to long," their mom replied. "Bout time. He's been gone for work to long," Zaire said. They both laughed when just then the door opened. Their father walked in and set his things down. "Your just in time for dinner dad," Zaire said then hugged her father. Their father hugged her back. When they quit hugging he went to the mother and hugged and kissed her. "Where's Zane," the father asked them. "He's in his room dear. Most likely studying again. Why dont you go get him for dinner," the mother replied. The father went upstairs and knocked oh his son's room. Zane opened the door and saw his father standing there. "Dinners ready come down and eat," father said. "Will do. Welcome home dad," Zane replied. He followed his father to the dinning room. After they finished dinner and talked bout the past few months everyone went to bed.
