The year is 2097, December 30th

The whole world was peaceful, no more wars, everywhere and everyone are united as one.

You would think that this was the perfect life, But...All of that went down when "That" Appeared.

The sound of deafening roars, the screeching sounds of tires from cars losing control, screams of people around me.

This was the start of the most known tragedy, and the tragedy that will evolve humanity to its highest.

"Plague"

Current year: 2100, july 24th

It has been 3 years since the first appearance of the "Plague"

The world's leading military group "Ishvalda" took the advantage of the current state of the world

and established a military training program, But this one was different from the others.

Due to recent discoveries from researches, the "Plague" seems to be beast-like creatures

with different categories.

thanks to these past 3 years, we managed to identify 3 different class

Mimic - These types of Plague beasts were once humans, but got infected by the Plague, turning them into twisted beasts that can mimic what they eat.

Tank - just as the name suggests, These types of Plague beasts are tank-like creatures, just like the mimics they were once human, but these are an evolved version, Their bodies are made out of hardened steel, rendering regular military attacks useless.

Leader - This type of Plague beasts is different from all the other beasts, This in particular has intelligence, hence the class "Leader" This type of beast is so dangerous that 3 of the Largest military groups have to send their best soldiers to subdue one.

But all of that changed when Ishvalda has formed a group with the ability to use the Plague against the Plague Beasts.

This group was called E.I.D.O.S

which stands for:

Experimental

International

Operator

Squad

their powers were out of this world, it was enough to kill off a Tank--class just by one of them!

thus Ishvalda became the leading Leader for all of the remaining humanity.

The E.I.D.O.S program became well known that many wishes to join, but theres a requirement.

and that is, "Contact with the Plague"

without it you're just someone with a pipe dream trying to join the program.

"Well then, Let's See what this is all about then shall we?" I said with an exhausted face, bracing myself to join the program

As I walked forward, many people warned me to give up, saying that the requirement is impossible.

I gave it no mind as it has already been achieved, Yes.

I was there at the center of it all 3 years ago.

I tried to run away from it, in the end, it brought me here.

"Fate is really cruel huh?"

I walk to the Soldier sitting at the table

"Test me, I'll join the program" I said

He scoffed as he said "Tch Another one huh? Fine lets get this over with"

He raised the scanner to my retina, siphoned a bit of my blood using a syringe.

His eyes opened up as if he saw a monster.

"Y--you're" he said while stumbling on his words

I grabbed the test results and entered the building to where I will take the Augmentation

"So you're the only one who passed from all those crowd huh?" The Doctor said

While sitting down on the chair I said "Just get it over with"

"Okay then, we will now begin the 1st Phase of the Augmentation, but before we begin, There is a risk that you will die in the process, are you sure you want to proceed?" The Doctor Asked

"Proceed" I said to the Doctor

The Doctor typed in what seems to be a sequence into the computer

The speakers on the ceiling then said "Beginning Phase 1, Agitating Plague cells"

And that was the moment as if I had been injected with lava into my bloodstream, I screamed in pain, dripping with sweat.

Gritting my teeth, Clenching my fists.

"Phase 1 completed" The Speaker spoke

I gasped for air, groaned in pain as it starts to dissipate from my body

"You did well, rest of the phases are painless so you don't have to worry anymore"

I sighed in relief

"Beginning phase 2, reconstructing body"

"All vitals are green, Plague-cells are augmented, The Augmentation is now finished"

The Doctor then approached

"You gotta get some rest, Your body is way too stressed right now, I'll see you soon once you wake up"

My eyes were heavy, My body was weak, I couldn't hear what the Doctor said, I couldn't see it properly as the Doctor took off of their Mask.

but I saw.

"A Woman.....?" I mumbled and soon after, i fell into a deep sleep.
