Yesterday evening... as the moon was approaching the skies... the spirits like me... felt the spiritual goals approaching us.. THE GOAL TO GO BACK TO GODHEAD.

...Suddenly, i remembered a BEAUTIFUL pastime of the lord.. probably the most heart touching....

ONE DAY-

Shri chaitanya mahaprabhu instructed Sri Nityananda prabhu and Haridas Thakur(Devoted devotees) to knock at everydoor and instruct the people to chant the name of the lord. Nityananda prabhu and Haridas Thakur who were preaching partners walked with this responsibility on there heads.

Nityananda prabhu used to knock every door, doorstep after doorstep after doorstep and used to fall at the feet of the owners of the house. He cried and prayed them to chant the holy name of the god to sing his glories. Some people behind the doors were envious, puffed up with nonsense, lusty and enrolled in materialistic pleasures who never got a chance in the sankirtan of shri chaitanya mahaprabhu also used sweard with filthy words at him, blasphemed him, whipped him, and even kicked him...

but the most merciful Nityananda prabhu would come on his hands and feet and with 5 drops of tears... 5 streams of tears from his ocean like eyes... would beg them to chant hari's name... saying "I would sell myself to you as an eternal slave of yours if you engage yourself in krsna's devotion."

One day Haridas Thakur and shri Nityananda prabhu who were preaching partners while walking through a street of a village saw a huge crowd. They exclaimed "What this? what is going on?". Some villager replied "Look inside... there are two dacoits... by the name Jagai and Madhai." Another villager added in an exaggerated manner"Do you know who they are? previously they were pious brahmanas born in a brahmin family. But due to bad association now they slaughter animals, eat their flesh, drink their blood, they set houses on fire, they kill babies. They destroy the sacrificial fire by dropping abdominal substances into it, they are always intoxicated with liquor. They have all sorts of illicit sexual relationships. There is no one more filthy and more fallen than these two. They are the two dacoits. People fear to go near them because they can kill you. Even if they step on someone's shadow that person would jump into Ganga(holy river ... eternally originated from the lotus feet of Lord Krishna) to purify himself. Such are they. Now they are famous as being dacoits in Nabadweep. "

As soon as nityananda prabhu, the embodiment of compassion, heard this, his eyes dialated. And in ecstatic mood he exclaimed "THEY ARE THE RECIPIENTS OF GAURANGA'S MERCY". He said ''Haridas do you see this?... do you see this?. Only if they become devotees... the whole Nabadweep will recognize Shri Chaitanya mahaprabhu as the deliverer of the most fallen. They will take the shelter of Gauranga. Now if people even step on their shadows they jump into the Ganga. O Haridas, Just think if we simply make them devotees people will come to take darshan of them as if they are Ganga personified. " He further says" Haridas, do you remember when the mughals whipped you in 22 market places... you were the one to pray for them...

Please pray O Haridas! THAT-THE-TWO-DACOITS-JAGAI-AND-MADHAI-BE-THE-RECIPIENTS-OF-SHRI CHAITANYA MAHAPRABHU'S-MERCY''

ON THIS...

Haridas smiled. And said "O great nityananda, you are so merciful. Just by your thought they are delivered. They are delivered, just by the fact that you thought to deliver them. Now only formalities left."

Then they together approached Jagai and Madhai, the two drunkards... step by step... one step at a time.

Jagai and madhai were intoxicated in liquor. They were walking in complete intoxication. Their eyes rolling in intoxication. They were trembling and walking. They had blood all over their face and meat in their hand, they were pulling each other's hair. Sometimes they were laughing... sometimes they were crying... sometimes throwing fists at each other's face... sometimes kicking each other... sometimes singing songs... sometimes eolling on the ground all dusty... HOW WERE THEY...?! Complete Materially intoxicated humans.

So Nityananda prabhu approached them. He said'' Dear brothers, I've heard various glories of yours. That you were born in brahmanical families, therefore you are worshipable. My only request after hearing all your glories is that, O Jagadananda and Madhavananda... Give up all your nonsense and surrender to Chaitanya. Please worship Krishna... chant his name... sing his graces... " ''O jagai and madhai... why are you living this sinful life... don't you fear its reactions... you will be destroyed by its reactions... Please worship krishna... rectify and start his service...'' further said Nityananda prabhu.

These semi-intoxicated Jagai and Madhai... partial or fully equipped drunkards, eyes rolling in liquor, with hot like coal... spitting fire from their mouths...They said "HOW DARE YOU ADVICE ME? DON'T YOU KNOW HOW GREAT I AM... AND YOU STILL COME AND ADVICE ME..how dare you counsel me... CATCH THEM, KILL THEM."

And Jagai and Madhai started running, Nityananda and Haridas started running. Jagai and Madhai started running behind Nityananda and Haridas as if to take their life. Jagai and Madhai started running.... Nityananda and Haridas started running... Jagai and Madhai running and nityananda and haridas running. Nityananda prabhu and Haridas were laughing. It was like an adventure to them because they had never approached someone so dangerous. As they were running Haridas said to Nityananda prabhu ''You are a mad man nityananda... you are a mad man...how can someone be so merciful... You approach drunkards and give them krishna prem.. You're impossible Nityananda.'' Nityananda started laughing and he said''Oh you call me a mad man... the personality who gave us this instruction to preach at every door and every village... he's the mad man... Like a king he sits at his place and gives order to give everybody krishna prema and give everybody the live of god without any discrimination.'' In the past present and future.. nobody has ever did, is doing or will do anything like this. Indirectly Nityananda prabhu was glorifying Chaitanya mahaprabhu because ever... there was, is or will be no other incarnation who has come has ever given his mercy like this- 'param karunā pau dvī janā nitāi gaūr chandra'.

A.C. Bhaktivedānta Swāmi Srīlā Prabhupāda once said ''The reality is nitāi caraņa and anyone who is servant of nitāi... So nitāiyer caraņa satya, 'tāhāra sevak nityā'. One who had become the dog of Nityānanda Prabhu, he gets his eternal life.''

PRABHU NITYĀNANDA: THE ORIGINAL SPIRITUAL MASTER.

Jagai and madhai were so fat and filthy they were so intoxicated that they chased nitai and haridas but lost the run. They were so angry. They had to punch someone. They could not find haridas and nityananda. So they looked at each other andSo they started punching each other. They had to punch someone... in the middle of market they started pulling each others hair, punching, tearing each others clothes, kicking...

Nityananda prabhu and Haridas went back to Shri Chaitanya mahaprabhu who was at the house of Śrīvāsa (another devotee) with Śrīvāsa and Gangā dāsa at either sides and explained the whole context.

Shri chaitanya mahaprabhu said in a sullen tone''They are Brahmins? and this is how they behave... I feel like cutting them with my Śudarśana chakra.'' Nityananda prabhu spoke to Shri Chaitanya mahaprabhu '' This is the purpose of the kalki avatar. Why are you sulling in this mood..? You have come to deliver all these fallen souls and in kali yuga everyone you find is like this.'' Shri nityananda prabhu said something very significant that every one in the kali yuga is a Jagai Madhai. SOME are big Jagai-Madhais, some are medium Jagai-Madhais and some are small Jagai-Madhais."

In satyuga, the good and bad were in two different planets. Example:Hiranyaksha and Varaha.

In treta yuga, the good and bad were on the same planet but different countries. Example: Shri Ramchandra from India and Ravana from Sri Lanka.

In dwapar yuga, the good and evil were in the same planet, in the same country, in the same family. Example: Kaurawas and the pandavas.

In kali yuga, the most degraded age, where there is quarrel and hypocrisy, where everyone is distured disrupted, where everybody is fallen, where everybody is sore, everybody is unfortunate, everybody is lazy and less intelligent.

In such an age, good and bad are in the same planet, in the same country, in the same family, and in fact in the same person as well. So there are Jagai-Madhai in all our consciousness, just the degree ranges.

Nityananda prabhu told chaitanya mahaprabhu that ''Everyone in kali yuga is a Jagai-Madhai' would you go out killing everyone?... Please give their bodies to me, let me serve, let me try once more, you don't take tension... Please relax... I know. you are Viśnū, you can invoke the sudarshana chakra anytime you want... but this is not the time... Please relax... let me serve...''

When these two were speaking, Haridas Thakur who was completely horrified with the experience of Jagai-Madhai chasing him. He was simply a Sadhu sitting in the cave and chanting Harinaam. He started speaking to Advaita Aacharya as if complaining but actually glorifying, he said ''Do you know what is the experience of travelling with Nityananda in sankirtan...? He jumps into the Ganga which is infected with crocodiles he puts his hand in the mouth and place with their tails . This Nityananda sometimes goes running behind the children with the stick in his hand and the children goes up to their houses and their father comes out to punish. And Nityananda is nowhere to be found and I am suffering. He would do all the mischies and I have to get this over. He would go to the young girls and ask them 'will you marry me' and when their father comes out with the whipping stick... he is nowhere and I have to get the beatings. He would milk the cows and drink their milk and say the owners that Haridas has drunk all the milk. THIS is nothing... and today he went to the most dangerous Jagai and Madhai and they almost killed me. I didn't fear even when I was being whipped and 22 marketplaces. I was saved then ,but I felt sure that today I ...I am going to die. Advaita Acharya smiled and said " Yes, Mad Men always hangs out with other Mad Men, this Nithyananda is so intoxicated with pure love that he hangs out with other Mad Men who are intoxicated in something or the other.'' He again smiled and said ''but Haridas... I promise you that today by the only thought of Nityananda of delivering Jagai and Madhai, very soon these two notorious goons will be dancing amongst us , raising their arms and chanting the holy name....'HARE KRISHNA, HARE KRISHNA, KRISHNA KRISHNA, HARE HARE... HARE RAMA,HARE RAMA, RAMA RAMA, HARE HARE...'.''

...ONE DAY......

...Sri Chaitanya Mahaprabhu went on the banks of Ganga on the bathing ghats. That day Jagai and Madhai were camping there.... which is very close to the house of Shrivas Pandit where Sri Chaitanya Mahaprabhu was singing and chanting and dancing. So Gauranga Mahaprabhu went close to jagai and madhai. He was not afraid but that is a very dangerous situation because people then, they didn't mention to go to Jagai and Madhai because they could do anything. So Chaitanya Mahaprabhu went close to Jagai and Madhai and Jagai and Madhai looked to Chaitanya and said "Can you teach us the song which you were singing in Shrivasa's house in the praise of Durga and Chaitanya Mahaprabhu didn't even respond... because that wasn't in praise of Durga that was in praise of Krishna. *HA HA HA......

...

THE MOST MERCIFUL! SHRI NITYANANDA PRABHU💙...

...That evening something very interesting happened, which is narrated forever, it is a historical narration Hari Bol !...

...That evening Nityananda Prabhu exactly went to the lake where Jagai and Madhai was shouting. They were again in their semi ill clad semi drunk, intoxicated situation with filthy words filling their mouths, and eyes rolling in total intoxication......

...Nityananda prabhu went near to Jagai and Madhai and said '' Jagai and Madhai... please understand... You are the part and parcel of Krishna... We're all the part and parcel of Krishna. And the only way the soul can be happy is by reconnecting with Krishna... you cannot find happiness in this world... it is only possible by reconnecting with Krishna....

...As soon as Nityananda Prabhu said this... Madhai lost his cool. He was drinking liquor from a half broken clay pot. And as soon as he heard Nityananda Prabhu's preaching for the second time.. he lost his cool. It is described, when you give milk to the snake, all that happens is its poison increases. Nityananda Prabhu was giving the most eternal instruction as the ever well wishing friend... And Madhai took his half broken liquor claypot and SMASHED on the forehead of Nithyananda.................. and Nithyananda whose body is completely transcendental, who is beyond the three modes[The three modes of material nature in which any human being acts: i.e. either in the mide of goodness or passion or ignorance]... he who is the source of all sources, he who is the supreme personality of godhead, who is falling on his hands and feet out of Mercy... he started bleeding profusely....

...There was blood all over his face. There was a cut just above his eyebrow and it was drenching his clothes. Madhai looked at Nithyananda and Nithyananda smiled looking at Madhai and he said something very interesting, he said "the pain that you are inflicting on Yourself by not being Krishna conscious is a way more than the pain that you have just inflicted on me. O Madhai... I again fall at your feet... please take the process of chanting!...

...And Madhai lost his cool again. He picked up another pot '' HOW DARE YOU...? YOU CONTINUE PREACHING... YOU NONSENSE!..." Jagai's heart melted. He stopped Madhai and said '' Hey... DON'T YOU SEE...don't you see..? He's so merciful. There is no saint, no renunciant ...who has ever approached like this and you... you... slam him.. you.. hit him.. and he still continues to smile and lovingly and compassionately help you.... Please Madhai.. don't hit him. He's our friend.''...

...And by then... This news had reached to Chaitanya Mahaprabhu and he rushed to the spot ...as soon as he realised that his dear servant Nithyananda was bleeding... Shri Chaitanya Mahaprabhu rushed to the spot. He looked into the eyes of Jagai and Madhai and in an uproaring sound said "I AM THE SUPREME PERSONALITY OF GODHEAD... Yama, the god of death, he dances at my feet. Lord Shiva, The Lord of destruction, he is my servant... and anyone who criticizes, who blasphems... and people like you who insult and harm my devotees, will see me as death personified.'' And in this mood Sri Chaitanya Mahaprabhu, he invoked the Sudarshan Chakra and the Sudarshan Chakra was spinning faster than anything else, ready to cut the head of Madhai. w...

...When Sri Chaitanya Mahaprabhu decided to cut Madhai's head from his body... Nityananda Prabhu fell at his feet of Gauranga ''oh Mahaprabhu... please... please... take your Sudarshan Chakra back... ahh.. um.. let me tell you... they didn't hit me ... ah...they were trying to throw it somewhere else.. by mistake it hit me , and... but... it didn't hurt me, look I'm smiling''...

...Gauranga said "You are bleeding... O Nitai...'' Nityananda said ''oh Mahaprabhu ...I beg you ..if in any of my lives ...I have served you in any capacity... in return I ask... I ask you only one benediction , please forgive them ...let all their sins come to me... let all my good deeds go to them... you may punish me, but uplift them ...this is my only Desire....''...

...And an insignificant infinitedecimal Jiva throws a claypot and hurts the supreme Lord (Both Lord Balaram and Lord Krishna are the Supreme Personality of Godhead. The only difference between them as Prabhupāda says is their complexion, Krishna having a bluish black complexion like a newly blossomed Blue lotus and Balaram has a fair complexion like the colour of a crystal. And the second diffrence is their Mood. Both having same potency, same power, same ability, oplulences, in the beauty that they posses, renunciant, fame, wealth, but there is one fundamental difference. Krishna is the Supreme personality of Godhead in the mood of accepting service. Whereas Balarama is the Supreme personality of Godhead in the mode of giving service) because of whom his very existence is possible... and that Supreme Lord out of Mercy, he begs for his life. This has never happened. When Surpanakha attacked, Lakshmana cut her nose and ears. When Prahlambasura attacked, Balrama Broke His Head out. When Dhenukasura attacked, Balram threw him into the Tall trees. But when Madhai attacked, Nityananda Prabhu begged for his forgiveness, he begged for his life....

...Sri Chaitanya Mahaprabhu, he looked at Madhai and then Nithyananda continued. He said '' In fact my lord... it was Jagai... who saved my life. When Madhau tried to attack again, Jagai came and rescued me...He protected me.''...

...Gauranga heard this and he called Jagai ''You protected my Nithyananda... you've protected My Greatest Devotee... today in front of everyone as witness I bless you with eternal love of God...''...

...He who was the most following a few minutes ago, now started becoming the greatest devotee. He approached the feets of Sri Chaitanya Mahaprabhu. Sri Chaitanya Mahaprabhu embraced Jagai. And Jagai started trembling, starting horror fleeting, he started shivering and tears coming out his eyes, and hairs standing on end...his teeth clattering and his throat started faltering... and in this mood of pure love of God, he was chanting the names of Krishna....

...Seeing this, Madhai fell at the feet of Gauranga. He said in a humble sound''Jagai and I... we always sinned together. And in all the sins we were team partners..... and you Uplift him and give him Pure Love Of God ...please forgive me too.''...

...Gauranga said '' IMPOSSIBLE...I-will-never-forgive-you. You-will-never-get-my-mercy... if you really want Mercy, then fall at the feet of Nithyananda and beg for his Mercy. Anyone who hurts me, criticizes me, might get my Mercy ...but anyone who offends my devotees.................. FORGET IT. ''...

...Krishna says 'madbhakta pujya bhyadhika' meaning ''the worship of my devotees, is greater than my worship.''...

...Madhai fell at the feet of Nityananda and in the first go Nityananda smiled, and picked him up. And said ''Promise me, that you will never sin again. Because you never committed Vaishnav Apradh... because you never met Vaishnavas. And you never committed Naam Apradh ....because you never chanted the holy name. I-forgive-you!!!....''...

...{Vaishnav apradh - If you disrespect, defame, insult or treat vaishnavas without care and humblemess, you commit Vaishnav apradh....

...Naam apradh - If you commit offenses towards the holy name, you commit naam apradh.}...

...And as soon as Jagai and Madhai were embraced by Sri Chaitanya Mahaprabhu and Nityananda, the devotees loudly said "HARI BOL!! "...

...IN THE ASSOCIATION OF THE DEVOTEES... IN THE ASSEMBLY, JAGAI AND MADHAI STARTED JUMPING AND CHANTING THE HOLY NAME......

..."HARE KRISHNA, HARE KRISHNA, KRISHNA KRISHNA, HARE HARE.... HARE RAMA HARE RAMA RAMA RAMA HARE HARE..!''🙌...

...KRISHNA SEES OUR SINS MORE CLEARLY THAN ANYONE YET HE LOVES US MORE THAN ANYONE ELSE....
