It was a cold winter day and Izuku was almost frozen in the weather. “Why does it have to be so cold..!!!” Izuku whined. “ I know right! Like, give me a break!!” Izuku’s  friend pleaded. The sight of Izuku and the brunette, Ochako talking was not uncommon. But Ochako seemed rather happy despite the freezing weather in Japan that year. So Izuku was curious

why she was so cheerful.” Why do you seem so cheerful today?” He asked “..-not that it’s a bad thing! I was just wondering.!” He quickly added.

Ochako- “Hm? Do you not know?”

Izuku- “Know what?”

Ochako- “Really! No one told you..!”

Izuku- “All I know is we have winter break in like a month.”

Ochako- “ Well~.. since no one told you..!   .....We are having a dance just before the break!!!”

Izuku- “Really!! Omg that’s so co-“

Izuku’s excitement was put on hold by the familiar feeling of soft petals tickling in his throat “Sorry i’ll be right back.. see you in class..!” He said dashing off to the closest bathroom. He ran as fast as he could desperate to keep them down until he got into the stall. He slammed the door behind him and violently coughed up white daisy petals that were ever so slightly dampened with blood. He slowly began to cry.. but not just from the physical pain of the branch’s pushing on his lungs and exploring his rib cage.. but also the emotional pain of love. “Why... why did it have to be him... The only person I can’t have..! The one that I know doesn’t love me back.. Why.. him..” He slowly stopped crying and began to pick up the slightly red flowers and put them in the waste bin. He covered the flowers with paper towels so that no one would be lead to believe he had been affected by the Hanahaki disease. He stood up and walked out of the stall to find a familiar face. “Hello Midoriya” The boy said. “Oh! Hello Todoroki-Kun!” He said trying to cover up the fact he had just exhaled bloody flowers in the stall behind him. “I was just heading out. I don’t wanna be late for class..! Bye!”

“Goodbye Midoriya.” He was caught off guard by the sudden conversation he had to engage in but it didn’t matter. He was on his way to class now. He walked up to the classroom door, it was still open..! Maybe he wasn’t late..! As he walked in he saw A blond headed boy towards the front. His heart fluttered when he saw him. Izuku has always loved him. Even if he had and still does kind of bully him. But Izuku had already forgiven him and he always will. “Are you going to join us or are you just gonna stand there..?” Sensai said crashing Izuku’s train of thought.

He walked into the classroom sitting in his seat that was just behind Bakugo, the blond haired boy. He was happy to be behind his crush but it made it harder to keep the petals down. He took notes on the lecture but also doodled some drawings of Bakugo when he became bored.
