I smiled as blood continued to flow out of my wrist. Finally, I can rest. My vision gradually blurred as I slowly sat on the floor, I let go of the blade and let the blood come out of my wrist.

"Sh*t, I knew it!" I looked at the man who entered the restroom. I couldn't see his face because I'm dizzy.

He immediately approached me and took out his handkerchief. He put it on my wrist where the blood comes out but I removed it.

"The f*ck?" He said and put the handkerchief back on my wrist. He tied it on my wrist so that the bleeding wouldn't continue. Sigh, I thought I can rest.

I slowly lost conciousness until I no longer knew what had happened.

"His wound is deep, it's a good thing you got there right away and stopped the bleeding, if not.. he might be dead now." I slowly opened my eyes and looked around. Where am I?

"Oh, you're already awake." I looked at the one who spoke.

So, he was the man who brought me here.

"I'll leave you first." The doctor said before leaving the room.

"How are you fe—"

"Why did you stop me?" I cut him off and looked into his eyes.

"Why not?" He said and sat down in the chair next to my bed. ".. life is important and it shouldn't be wasted, Ethan." I smiled sarcastically and looked the other way.

"You don't know why I did that.." I said and leaned back. ".. next time you see me committing suicide, can you just pass by and act like you didn't see anything?" I looked at him. He scoffed before talking.

"Okay." I silently laughed sarcastically and rolled my eyes.

I just sat quietly. Zach stood up and took an orange from the fruit basket he had brought earlier, I guess. He peeled it and then handed it to me.

"Don't refuse this, for sure you're hungry." He said and put the orange in my hand.

I just sighed and ate the orange.

By the way, I'm Ethan Ray Collins, and the one with me here is Zachary Millers. We are in the same class but we are not friends.. I hate him, and I hate him even more because he stopped me earlier!

* KNOCK KNOCK *

"Excuse me.." We both looked at the nurse who peeked in the door. ".. the patient's uncle is here to visit him." My eyes widened when she said the word "uncle".

"Let hi—"

"No, don't let him in." I said quickly. ".. tell him that I don't want to see him." I could feel Zach looking at me but I ignored that.

"O-Okay." The nurse said before going out and closed the door.

"Why—"

"Stop asking questions and shut the f*ck up." I heard him scoff.

While eating the orange, I suddenly remembered my things. I looked at Zach who was currently playing on his phone.

"Where are my things?" He looked at me for a moment before pointing the sofa. I sighed of relief when I saw my bag.

"Hey." I called him. ".. why are you still here?" He looked at me and put his phone in his pocket.

"To take care of you." What the f*ck did he just say? He.. what?

"Huh? Are you kidding me?" I chuckled. I looked at him again. I stopped laughing when I saw him staring at me. ".. stop looking at me like that."

"It's the first time I saw you laugh." He said while smiling. Tss, weirdo.

I leaned on the pillow again and ate the remaining orange. After eating, I took the TV remote and turned on the TV. While switching the channels, I heard Zach mumbled something.

"What?" I asked but he just shaked his head. ".. aren't you going home? It's 6 in the evening."

"Why are you sending me away?" He said chuckling. ".. I just live in a condominium and my parents work abroad, so no one will worry about me." he said.

"Okay.. will you sleep here?" I asked again.

"Beside you? Of course—"

"No. I mean here.. here in the room, not beside me. Yuck." I said.

He chuckled before talking. "Yes I'll sleep here. I already said earlier that I will take care of you." I frowned at what he said.. uggh! What he's saying is.. disgusting.

"Don't get the wrong idea. Ms. Bradford ordered me to take care of you because—"

"Yeah, yeah, you don't need to explain." I said boringly. ".. I'm going to sleep, don't.make.any.noise." I said while glaring at him.

"Okay, okay." He said smiling.

I sighed and wrapped the blanket in me. Good night..

I watched him wrapped the blanket around him and turned around. It's 6:30 PM but he hasn't eaten dinner yet. I would have liked to invite him to eat dinner with me but he didn't want to be disturbed.

I know he's mad at me 'cuz I stopped him from committing suicide.. again but, is it wrong to help the person you.... l-love? Yeah, I love him. I've loved him since the day I met him.. I-I just don't make it obvious.

I don't know why, but the world seemed to stop when I saw him— yes, what we watch in romantic movies is true. Every time I see him, my heart beats fast and I feel that romantic excitement too. I finally found out that I was in love with him, sigh.

I stood up and left the room. When I came out, a man suddenly approached me.

"Hi I'm Ethan's uncle, I just want to know how he's doing? Will he be released from the hospital immediately?" He asked.

"G-Good evening sir. . Ethan is fine but he will be here for a long—"

"What!?" I was a little surprised because of his reaction. It changed suddenly. ". . urggh, sh*t." That was the last thing he said before leaving. Uhh. . good bye?

I just ignored him. When I got out of the hospital I went straight to the fast food chain just in front of it. I ordered foods that Ethan will definitely like. The foods I ordered was quickly given to me, so I left that fast food chain immediately and went back to the hospital.

When I came back to Ethan's room, he was still sleeping so I just put down the paper bag on the table.

I smiled when I saw his face — f*ck, I am really in love with this person.
