" Yu Yan!!!!!!! " mrs Yu shouted from the kitchen

"coming mom" Yu Yan said while packing her bag

Yu Yan was an introvert shy high school girl , she was mistreated among school mates for being ugly. she didn't have any friends.Her life was pretty much boring , going to school , studying , eating , sleeping was the only thing she did.

Things changed when when she met wang li , a new student in her school.He was an handsome man.To her surprise Wang li was seated next to her by the home teacher.

At first she thought of avoiding him.But unlike other kids Wang li treated her with respect.They quickly became close friends.

She thought her life has changed.

She eventually grew to like him.He was her secret crush.All she could think of was him.

But during her 2 years in highschool she never confessed to him her feelings.

She was waiting for today , Ah yes today

Today she was going to graduate from high school.

Yu Yan was smart she scored quite well in gakao( high school entrance exam china).She was quite happy with herself.when she came to know that Wang li didn't score much marks.

She thought of sacrificing Good university for him,for the sake of being with him

But before all these she had to confess her feelings today.

"Mom I am going to be late today " said Yu Yan as she hurried down the stairs.

Mrs Yu was quite shocked to see her leaving without eating her food . Since Yu Yan loved food.

Sigh this girl is too excited to graduate thought Mrs Yu with a smile

She took bus to her school.It took just 10 minutes to reach school.

Upon reaching school she hurried down the stairway to her classroom.

She saw Wang li and his friends talking.when he saw her he smiled.This fluttered her heart.

The home teacher , a dashing male in his 30s entered the classroom with a smile.

"Good morning "he wished.

" Good morning teacher " they all wished him back.

The teacher lined them up in school courtyard.

It was time to present the degree and awards.

"sima Lin" called out headmaster.

" Wang li" called out headmaster.

Yu Yan was pretty much in the back.

At last !

"Yu Yan " called out headmaster.She hurried to stage to receive her degree.

Students Were not much interested in her.They just clapped like half dead zombies upon hearing her name

But when she was Wang li clapping and smiling at the back.Her face pretty much lit up

Everyone was gathering around. Some were crying , some were dancing.The atmosphere was mixed .

But the only thing she cared about was confessing to Wang li

She had no friends to cry for or dance with.

She saw him at the far end Chatting with his friends.

She squished herself somehow managing to reach up to him.

Her heart was beating fast .

" Wang li " She called.

He turned around

"Hey "said Wang li cheerfully

His friends was not quite happy to see her.

"what are you doing here" asked Yang Yang coldly.

"Don't say that " said Wang li looking at Yang Yang.

" whatever, she is spoiling the mood" murmured Yang Yang.

" why are you looking for me , is there something" said Wang li looking calmly at her.

" I have something to tell you" said Yu Yan nervously

" oh , what is it " Wang li asked looking at her.

Yu Yan stood there for a moment she couldn't move or breathe. But she decided that it's now or never , she finally gathered up her courage and spoke.

" Are you willing to date me " said Yu Yan softly.

There was a moment of silence.

Suddenly everyone started laughing loudly.

"what she wants to date Wang li " laughed the girls.

Only Wang li and Yu Yan stood there silently.

she didn't care about those people laughing at her, they had nothing to do with her . she looked at him waiting for his answer.

" Wang li what happened ? , just rejected her ,we can't wait to see her face. we know that you would never love someone as ugly as her" said Yang Yang while laughing.

Again everyone burst into laughter.

Wang li looked up to her.

She sensed some pain in his eyes

" sorry I don't want to " he said at last

what ?? she was shaken.why ??.she couldn't hold back her tears.

"Is it because I am ugly ?" asked Yu Yan.

"No..."

before he started speaking his friends Yang Yang ,sima Lin , tang wen intercepted him

"of course it is because of that "said his friends while laughing loudly.

She looked back at Wang li

" Is it true" she asked.

He stood there staring at her. He had nothing to say to her.

Yu Yan had tears falling down her cheeks.

Her heart was broken into pieces.

Everyone started to boo her .She ran away without even taking another glimpse at Wang li.

He stood there looking at her leave.

" I am sorry " he murmured.

Yu Yan was running towards her home

Her heart broken.

She walked down the lane thinking about moments between Wang li and her.was it just friendship, didn't he felt anything for her after spending so much time with her.

When she realised how Wang li didn't even think about it and rejected her directly she couldn't stop but cry.

she didn't bother about things happening around her right now . she just wanted to reach home and cry her heart out

While crossing the lane she didn't look.

" Hey there" shouted some one from behind.

She stopped to look behind

But it was too late .

A truck crashed into her.

Bang!!!

She was thrown to the other side of the road

she was severely hurt. people rushed to help her.

As her eyes slowly closed she thought

IS THIS THE END, IS SHE GONNA DIE AS A SINGLE HEARTBROKEN GIRL.

complete darkness flashed across her.

He was a handsome male.He had girls worshipping him , he had a rich family.He had everything in his life.

But he was not happy.

His parents were always busy with their jobs.He carved for attention from his parents.

Even though they loved him very much , they were quite busy with work

Gradually he became like the cold aloof prince , like those in fairy tales

Things changed when he had to change school after his family moved to Shanghai.

Everything was boring until he met her.

The first time he entered the class he saw her sitting calmly.She didn't even drool over him like the rest of the girls.

She was looking out of the window.

"Indroduce yourself " said the home teacher

" Hey I am Wang li " he said

The home teacher pointed towards the seat at the corner.

"sit there" he said to Wang li

" what !! with her ?? " said the girls annoyed with the fact that the ugliest girl gets to sit with their handsome prince.

He didn't pay attention to them.

He was seated next to her.He saw that she had no intention of initiating a conversation first.

"Hi " he said looking at her

"Hi " she replied back.

"what's your name" he asked.

" Yu Yan" she replied.

He smiled.

At first it was difficult to start conversations with her.

As time passed by they became more comfortable with each other.

He began to notice that she started conversation after some while.

They became great companion.

He was quite interested in her. He has never been so comfortable talking with someone all his life.

As time passed by the friendship turned to love.

He couldn't stop thinking about her.All that he thought about day and night was her and only her.

His heart goes 'thumb thumb' whenever he sees her

He thought of confessing his love to her on graduation day.

He was excited thinking about what he should prepare as a gift for her.

two days before graduation his parents told him that they were visiting him.

He didn't thought much about this as his parents do visit him on occasions like this

He could only think of graduation day and her.

"I am indeed possessed" he said while lying in bed.

Next day there was a knock on his door.

"Mom , dad" he yelled as he saw them

Even though Wang li was a aloof kid .He loved his parents very much.He always carved for their attention

He suddenly realised that the Atmosphere was a little tense.

" what happened" he asked.

" Son everything is gone, we were tricked" said mother as the started to cry

what happened , can you guys just tell me.

His father explained how he fell into the trap of his business partner and became bankrupt.If they didn't pay back the loan , both Mrs Wang and Mr Wang will be jailed.

"what ? who was it ?" asked Wang li

" Mr wei " replied Mr Wang

" father of Wei ning ???" Wang li asked .

" what do we do now" Wang li asked .

" he wants you to Marry his daughter , then he will not file any case " Mr Wang said sadly.

" what" Wang li was struck.

" we didn't want you to suffer and marry someone whom you don't like that's why we decided to see you one last time before surrendering ourselves"

Even though his parents were busy he knew that they loved him very much.

" No this can't be ...." said Wang li as he started to cry

" I am sorry my child I have to go now , take care of yourself , don't get sick, marry your loved one and live a good life " Mrs Wang said as he was about to go.

Wang li stood there broken.

"wait " wang li shouted as they were about to leave.

" I will marry her , I will marry Wei ning " said Wang li.

" what " both parents shouted.

" no we don't allow it , we don't want you to Marry her , we know you don't like her " said Mrs Wang

" it's okay mom I am single , I will date her and decide" said Wang li with a heavy heart.

Deep down he was heartbroken , he had only Yu Yan in his heart.Will he loose her.He cried all night ,he could only think of Yu Yan.

He wanted to forget her. But can he ??.

He didn't sleep that night .

tomorrow was graduation day , will it be the last day that he sees her.
