Butterfly Dream
Episode 1
She watched as the tall double door before her creek open. There she would be spending the rest of her life.

Liufei bit her bottom lips, scared; but she had to enter.
Liufei

Liufei and the many other maids watches as the child try to run through the door.

As Gu mama continues speaking, Liufei looked back at the closing gates where her brothers face slowly disappeared.
The words echo through her brain. She was determined to sleep with the emperor to gain enough money to raise her brother and sickly mother.

Looking at the maids that were huddled before her, Liufei thought to herself again.

After getting the maids to quite down, the guard turn back to Liufei.

Liufei
My name i was given is XiaoSan.
LiQiang
Xiaosan? (Burst out in a laughter before controlling himself.) I’ma team lead in the imperial guard, LiQiang, you’re excused.
Before LiQiang could get anywhere, Liufei stops him.
Liufei
Can you give me directions to the Blue Moon Manor?
Episode 3
Liufei
(Thinking) go straight, then turn left at the first tree. The first Manor would be it.
Liufei thought to herself as she recalls imperial guard directions.
Liufei turn into the first manor as instructed and realize that it was completely covered in dead, overgrown grass. Where there use to be a pond was now a dried, empty hole with a bare willow tree hanging over it.
Liufei
(Thinking) is this the Blue Moon Manor? Why does it feel so eerie? Like no one but someone is living here. This can’t really be the place right?
Liufei felt cold sweats run down her back as she took a few steps in.
Liufei quickly lowered her head.
Liufei
Xiaosan reporting-
Gongzi
You’re in the wrong place.
Gongzi
Blue Moon Manor is the next one down.
Liufei
Then I won’t bother you anymore.
Liufei bid the stranger farewell before quickly exiting. Listen to that stranger, liufei went onto the next manor and indeed he was right.
Liufei said as she read the large charcters written on the over door sign.
Liufei looked past the door and saw a beautiful lady standing in the center of the yard.
The beautiful lady said as she turn to face Liufei. Hurrying into the manor, Liufei greets the lady.
Liufei
Xiaosan greets the lady.
Liufei
(Thinking) I thought there was no princess consort.
Gu Mama
I’m not the lady of the manor, you can just call me Gu Mama. I am the one in charge of the manor if the prince isn’t in.
Gu Mama
I was told my manor was going to receive four new maids, why is it only you?
Liufei
Replying, it is because three of the got in trouble with an imperial guard.
Gu Mama

Make yourself familiar with it since you’ll start tomorrow.
Liufei walked around the room and saw a cookbook on the center table.
Gu Mama
That is a list of food the prince like, take a good look at it.
Gu Mama

Liufei unintentionally looks GuMama in the eyes.
Gu Mama
What, you’re not happy about it?
GuMama said in an angered voice.
Liufei
No, I just never thought I’ll be able to go in and out of the palace so soon.

Gu Mama said as she took a step closer to Liufei.
A maid came walking in to the kitchen.

There’s another maid here.

She said her name is XiaoEr
Hearing the maid, GuMama turn away from Liufei and left.
WuMing
Hey, what is your name?
The maid said as she walk up to Liufei.
Liufei
My name is XiaoSan.
WuMing
It turns out you’re my successor! Just a few days ago, I was still XiaoSan.
The maid said happily before patting Liufeis shoulders.
WuMing
My name now is WuMing. Although it stands for no name itself, it’s better than XiaoSan. Hopefully GuMama or the prince will rename you soon.
WuMing
Oh and just a reminder, Gu Mama is the lead that watches over all of us maid. She’s also the prince’s favorite bed chamber maid so it’s best to stay on her good side.
Liufei
Okay. I understand. Thank you for the reminder.
Liufei smiles at Wuming as she left Liufei alone in the kitchen.
