After half and hour of playing explorer's I finally got Alex to sleep this was the ultimate goal and I reached it

Whilst Alex and I were cooking my mom and Mr Avery was also enjoying their evening, I hope

"What would you like to order Sara"Mr Avery asked

"I would like some shredded lamb on a bed of pickled salad" my mom answered

"ooo nice choice may I have the same thing, please." my dad requested

"anyways sam what are your interests," my mom asked

"I love art it is amazing it just speaks to me in a completely different way. What about you"Mr Avery replied

"Well, I am actually an English teacher, I just love the way that literature tells many different stories and touches many hearts," my mom pronounced

"Woah that's deep I have never thought of it in that way"Mr Avery admitted

"Yeah, not many people think of literature in that way, most people despise the subject," my mom said

"Shredded lamb on a bed of pickled salad for Ms Nakamura and Mr Avery," the waitress said

"Looks delicious"Mr Avery said licking his lips

"Oh wait Misaka is calling me"

"Hey honey what's up, "mom asked

"nothing just wondering when you'll be back" I aked

"In about half an hour tops" mom estimated

"Please hurry I can't watch cartoons all night" I pleaded

"I'll be back soon, it can't be that hard to keep Alex occupied he's seven, "mom told me

"Alex calm down your daddy will be here soon. Did you like the cooking game"

"Yes"

"Well I have a little surprise for you, know after we played the game I said i was busy, I was busy making these"

"Woah" Alex gasped

"COOKIES" screamed Alex

time to dig in Alex

"did you enjoy the cookies," I asked

"Misaka you're the best babysitter in the whole wide world. and you make the best cookies ever " Alex said, admired

always a pleasure to serve you, Alex

after having cookies and some tea Alex and I fell asleep, legit this time when I just realised one thing Alex has never met his mom and my dad died in a car crash when I was born. i didn't realise how much we had in common. I felt sorry for the poor child I can imagine growing up without a mother isn't easy but kids like us have to stay strong even though life hits us hard or we will never make it.

mom and Mr Avery enjoyed their night, they even danced and they probably forgot that they had kids, when they got home at around 10:00 I had a bone to pick with them for being so late, I was worried sick and poor Alex was missing his father. I made them promise never to come home that late again.
