It was the year 2967. The country I live in is ruled by a mad and greedy tyrant.

The country is called Idun, but before that it was called Canada. Everything was much better before the new leader came, his name is Asun II. Everyone was happy and most had a home to live in but when Asun became the ruler of Idun, most people had to live on the streets or they’ll die soon. Either from hunger or from the diseases that the sick

animals bring with them. Asun II

introduced casts. First, second, third, fourth, fifth, sixth, seventh and then they come casteless. Everyone has a job here in society, but it is the first, second and third castes are the one who has it the best. The higher you are, the better your life is and you get better jobs. But I'm here to stop this terrible caste system and rule Asun and it once and for all. My name is

It all started when our previous leader Samuel III was poisoned and died. No one knows who it was, but all the

lower castes assume it was Asun. I'm in caste number 5 so my life is not as bad as most. My mother is a musician and my father died in the military. You see the country Idun is at war with Mandlia, formerly known as China. All men over the age of 16 must go into the military and if you survive for five years you can go home to your family. I have three siblings so it is difficult for our mother so everyone helps with what they can. I have two brothers and a sister. My brothers are named Marcus and Venus and are 13 and 22 years old, while my sister is named Adele and is 15 years old. There is not much food to come by these days. The reasons are either that all the upper castes can afford the food and buys it or Asun eats it, or they send it to the military.

I can no longer do this. Every time I leave the house I see sick and homeless people. I wish everything was as before as when Samuel III ruled Idun, so I will do everything I can to destroy Asun and his empire. My plan is that I must first get a job at the castle. My sister works at there and she can get me into the castle and a job there. She sews clothes and embroideres. All the clothes she sews and embroideres goes to the higher castes and the rich people.

When I'm employed there, I'll find

evidence that it was Asun who

poisoned Samuel lll. Then surely the whole country will go against Asun and they will either sentence him to death or they’ll make him suffer in any way possible. So EVERYTHING has to go according to plan. The whole

country depends on it.

The next day Adele and I went to the castle. At first the guards would not let me in, but Adele already had a lie in stock. When we entered the castle I felt my blood rush and then the

adrenaline came. I have never been so excited, happy and nervous at the same time. Sweat beads began to form on my forehead.

"What if we're caught?" I asked Adele. She said that if that happens then we’ll have to take care of ourselves and we must not say why we are here. No matter what happens.

We went down to the archive which is located on a floor under the ground. It is the bunker that is at the bottom.

We have to find the file with the

evidence that Asun killed Samuel.

Where is it, where is it, I asked myself. Suddenly we hear some footsteps. "Hide", Adele whispered to me "Hide !!".

We hear two male voices. "Is there anyone here?" I held my breath. I

cannot let them know we’re here.

Then I hear Adele start screaming! I

began run where I was hiding and saw the two men holding Adele by the hair. I grabbed the arm of the man holding Adele but he had too firm grip. The

other man grabbed me and pressed me against the ground so that I couldn’t get away. I tried to shake him off me, but he was too strong. "I do not want to give up!" The thought began to fill my head, so I keep struggling and tried to get out of his grip. The man makes an annoyed sigh and then he hits me in the back of my head. I feel it started to get darker and I began to see black and white dots, and then

everything went black.

I tried to open my eyes, but I am

dazzled by the light hanging from the ceiling. "Where am I?" I thought, "And where is Adele!" When I think of her name, I open my eyes. Then I hear a voice that I have heard on the TV many times before.

"Aaah so you're awake." I turned to where the voice was coming from. "Where's my sister, where's Adele !?"

"Relax she is well and is inside a cell. She is not injured." It's Asun talking.

"How can I know that what you are saying is true?" Asun waves and

makes a sign to one of the servants standing nearby. The servant shows me a screen where I see Adele sitting on a chair in the middle of a completely white room. "Adele," I shout.

"She can not hear you, we can only hear what she says."

"If you do anything against her I will ..!"

Asun snorts and laughs a little.

“Are you going to do what? It's you

who is in a cell tied to a table, so if you're trying to stop me, you can just give up. You have no chance. ”

“So what's your name and now tell me what are you doing here and why were you down in the archive? It's your sister who is going to suffer if you don’t tell me. And I know when you lie.”

I think of what Adele said: If one of us is caught, you have to take care of yourself and not tell why we are here even if one of us is hurt!

But I don’t want to see Adele injured. I have to decide soon, the time is

running out.

"My name is Melissa and I'm here to get you off the throne and get this country back to the way it once was!”

Asun laughs.

"And how are you going to do that?You have no one to help you, you are all alone!"

Just as he says that we hear a loud bang. It comes from where Adele is. I can see everything on the screen that the servant has.

"Adele!" I scream. "What did you do!"

I stop when I see Asun's face. It is stiff with shock and anger.

He turns to me. He has a wild

expression in his eyes.

“Was it you! Was it you who did this? ”

I feel the fear creeping up inside me, not because this was my work, but because I'm afraid something must have happened to Adele.

"It was not me!"

"So who was it?"

"I do not know but .." I stoped when I see a figure on the screen. Now I know that everything is going well with

Adele and that she is in good hands.

I've been in this cell for a week now and I get less food here than I got at home. I hear footsteps coming down the hall. It's probably the servant who is coming with the food. A dry bread and some water.

The figure of the servant is in front of my cell. I looked up and I saw a familiar face. It wasn’t a servant it was....

"Venus!" I shout in terror and joy. He's hushing at me.

"You have to be quiet. I do not want anyone to know that I am here."

He puts the bread in front of me. I look up at him with confusion in my eyes.

"Don’t eat the bread, you have to break it into pieces." He says and walks away.

"Wait, why?"

He didn’t turn around, he just kept walking.

When there is no one else in the

hallway, I start breaking the bread into pieces.

There's a note and a key inside! I’m

reading the note and it says: "Be

patient, we will come for you too, we just have to get the right chance." But it’s one sentence that warms my heart and I feel tears are pressing against my eyes. It said: "Adele is safe and so are Marcus and Mom."

I walk back and forth in the cell. They must come once? Right..

It's been 16 days since Venus came and visited me.

I hear an alarm that starts, a little back in the distance. I grab my chance and pick up my key that I hid in a crack at the bottom of the wall. It fits in the keyhole to the door.

I sprint out from my cell. It feels good to be able to run and move around freely.

Some guards come towards me but I’m fast and I dodge them.

The adrenaline rushes in my blood and it's hard to stop. I run and run, but

stopes in front of a big door. I start pushing the door open. It was very heavy. When I open the door I see a person. Is it a guard? A servant? But no. Behind the door is Venus. I get so happy that I jump into his arms.

"I have missed you" I say "But we have to go to the archive to find some

evidence or something against Asun."

"Okay, but let's do it quickly."

We are running down the hall until we reach the elevator that leads to the

archive.

We must hurry, but we must also get the proof that Asun poisoned Samuel.

The doors of the elevator opens and we run out.

"You take the right side and I’ll take the left." Venus says.

We start looking. There are so many

files here so this is going to take some time. An hour later I see a file that stands out from the others.

I pulled it out of the shelf and open it.

"Venus!" I shouted

He comes running to me.

"What is it?"

"This is what we have been looking for, the proof that Asun poisoned Samuel!"

We start running towards the elevator again, but stopped when we see a

figure of a human. It is Asun who

arrives with two guards.

"You won’t take that anywhere!" He shouts.

We have to get by! We don’t have time for this!

Suddenly I hear a sound. It sounds like a metal rod hits something. The guards standing on the right side of Asun, suddenly fall to the ground as if they have fainted. Behind them stand Adele and Marcus with a metal bar each.

"Wait what ?!" Asun shouts.

He stares at my brother and sister with anger and horror in his eyes. Adele and Marcus swing the metal rods and hit Asun straight in the head. He falls over and fainted. Venus and I stare at Adele and Mark with joy and a hint of anger, but run over to them and we give them a big hug.

"We have to hurry." I say and everyone runs towards the elevator doors. When the elevator door opens at the first floor, everyone runs out. We reach the main entrance and run outside. There are no guards outside, so most of them must be inside the castle. But we have what we need to ruin Asun and that once and for all.
