Seraphine is walking to the human school. She was adopted ever since she was young. Her parents always abuse her because she's creepy and weird. She has an older sister who cares for her but died one year ago.

*sniff* 'Just why.. can't I die?! AGHH!' Sera suddenly bumped a girl the same age as her. "S-sorry.." She avoided her gaze at the girl and continued to walk.

"Vargoka?" Sera's eyes widened when she heard that name. "Ah! It's really you! You were gone for so long-"

Sera flinched. That's what her name uses to be in the vampire world but sadly, her memodies were erased ans it's a mystery who did it. The only thing she remembers is that she was one.. one of them.

"Who are you!" The girl grabbed Sera's arm. "Get off of me!"

"Right.. you don't remember me.. I'm Janetta." The girl, Janetta looks like she was about to cry. "Nice meeting you! And yes.. I'm also a dhampir and much older than you." Janetta smiled gloomily and ran away.

'She's insane' Sera thought. But her curiousity grew. What did she do in her past life and why did she forget her memories when she was 8?

"My my, the disgusting creature is walking in our way! Ahahaha!" Sera was used to their bickering so she just sat to her seat.

Janetta's P.O.V

Dang it.. how could she forget her own servant and best friend! I bit my thumb and it began to bleed but I don't care! Why..

"Janetta!~" I turned around and it was my plastic friend, Xiji. "Can I borrow your book?~ I left my assignment at home."

I gritted my teeth. I'm just using her so I can get what I want and she's also using me so it's fair! I pulled out my book ans gave it to her. "Tsk, you better not forget any homeworks again!"

"Eh?!" She smirked and made a pitiful face. "Just because you're famous and pretty here, I will not be afraid of you!" She glared evily. "Weakling.." She whispered and I clenched my teeth.

"Don't forget I'm the daughter of the principal!" She flinched and gave me an evil glare.

"People are used to us being together all the time~ What would they think if we are not friends anymore?"

Third Person's P.O.V

"Sera, give these books at the 3rd floor, your seniors in 3rd grade." The teacher told Sera and she nodded.

As she was walking, she looked around her and there were a bunch of her seniors messing and playing around. She only saw a little of mature students.

She entered room 4-A which is the said room.

"Miss-" She noticed that there weren't any teacher and just students sitting quietly.

She spotted Janetta and immediately put the books on the table but Janetta noticed her.

"Ah, Sera!!" She ran towards her and Janetta flinched.

"Ah, princess Vargoka!"

"Where's HE?!!"

"Princess Vargoka, please-"

"AGHHH! WHERE IS HE?! TELL ME!!"

"Calm down princess! You can't meet him! He's already locked up.. please..."

"Get off of me and tell me!!!"

Sera's breathe heavily when she got flashbacks of her past. But she still can't remember what haplened when she was 10 in her previous life right now. And that memory she recalled looked so much like Janetta.

"Sera? Are you okay-"

"I gotta go." She dashed away.

"Oh isn't that the creepy 'lil one in 1st grade?" One of Janetta's classmate said.

"What?!"

"Don't be friends with her oh come one, all of them say she's cursed." Janetta's classmates then started a commotion.

"Damn.. her life is too hard. Should I tell them in the dhampir worl- no... no.. she was banned so.. BUT!'

Xiji raised a brow. 'Hm.. a friend of hers? Haha!! Nice, a bait!'

Unkown Person's P.O.V

"Prince Hota, we found her." My servants bowed down and a rippled of pool showing my past's wife life showed.

"She's not doing well is she?" My servants looked at each other and nodded. "I see. Expected of a reincarnated fragile soul. She was pretty strong last time. What happened to her?"

"W-we don't know, prince."

"USELESS PEOPLE!! GATHER MORE INFORMATION AND BRING IT HERE IN THE DHAMPIR WORLD!!"

"Y-yes prince Hota!!"

"Good.." I whispered. Vargoka, no.. Seraphine, I'm coming for you.

Class finished and almost all of the students were fetched by their parents in a car so Sera felt jealousy when she saw those classmates of hers having fun with them.

"Hi!" A blooming senior of hers approached her. Seraphine remembered that she saw this girl in one of Janetta's classmates. "Seraphine..?"

"Seraphine Futzja." Seraphine replied and Xiji giggled. For some reason, Sera thought that Xiji's attitude is annoying her.

"I'm Janetta's friend~" Sera had a bad first impression of Xiji because of the way she talks. Xiji's tone changes to low to high.

"I rarely see the friendship between you two.." Xiji was shocked to hear that. A girl as clever and genius as her would be a hard bait for Janetta. "And I'm leaving. Please don't bother."

Xiji came closer and Sera got too pissed so she bumped Xiji.

"Girl! I only want you to come with me for a second!"

'Raising her tone again?' Seraphine's eyes turned red for a second and Xiji was hypnotized. "Leave me alone."

"Yes.." Xiji said and couldn't control herself.

Seraphine realized what she had done and quickly rushed back to her home with heavy breathing. "Hah.. no.. she wouldn't remember anything.. calm down.." She took the water bottle from her bag and drank all of it but she was still sweating.

"SERAPHINE FUTZJA!! Get down here in an instant!" Her mom yelled and it sent shivers down her spine. She already know her mom is going to hit her like always..

But this time, her mom smiled and said "Sweetie, your dad and I are going on a business trip. I think you need to borrow money from a friend and I'll give half money to you."

"I don't have any friends and why don't you just give me all the money. After all, you're still my mom." Seraphine stared coldly and it was pretty obvious that Seraphine's mom, Gail, is trying to keep her composure.

'This damned brat isn't even saying thank you!' Seraphine's mom thought but she still smiled. "Fine, sweetie.."

"I have a name. Don't call me sweetie because it's corny." Sera's gaze darkened and left her mom's mouth hanging.

"Tsk.."

When Sera returned to her room, she started to smirk and laugh. "AHAHAHA!! I didn't know it was this easy to disrespect my stupid 'mom'!! HAHA!!"

[Seraphine at 1**0**]

"Mommy, mommy! I got an A in all my exams!" Seraphine proudly showed her all the scores.

Her older sister, Pauline, looked at the papers and squealed. "Kyahh that's my baby sister!!" She showed the papres to their mom but their mom looks displeased.

"Mom? What's wrong?" Seraphine's sister asked and held Sera's hand.

"A disgrace.. What's this?!!" She shoved the paper that has a B in it in Sera's face.

"Mmpnh!" Seraphine stumbled since her body was so fragile because their parents barely feed her anything.

"MOM!!" Pauline yelled and covered for Seraphine.

"Arg.. Pauline. Why are you defending that sister of yours?! She's adopted and I made a wrong decision-"

"MOM!! Please stop!!"

Seraphine shivered in fear and cried loudly. "WAAHHH! BIG SIS.. wuu..."

"There, there.." Pauline let a sigh of relief and angrily looked at her mother. "Can't you just atleast appreciate her hard works like what you did to me when I was younger!! She will grow up to be a-"

"Who cares?" Gail shrugged. "Take that brat to her room now and teach her Sciencd. That's what she's bad at."

"Yes, mom.."

[Seraphine at 14]

"Happy happy birthday my dear sister!!" Pauline hugged Seraphine and buried her head in her shoulder.

"Big sis? What's wrong? Do you have a fever?" Seraphine gently touched her sister's forehead. "Big sis, your forehead is burning!!"

"Ah, it is? Let's celebrate your 14th birthday first please.."

"But!!-"

"I- don't have much time.." Seraphine was confused and at the same time she was mentally panicking.

"Haha, big sis is not going to d-die r-right?"

"Sera! Who taught you about that! And no, ofcourse not.."

"But you said you had cancer and I learned in school that cancer can't be c-"

"S-Sera!! Ssh, mother might hear us!"

"You're lying right?!" Tears started flowing down in Seraphine's cheek. "Is it because mom and dad have no money?! I could've saved for the both of us."

Pauline tilted her head. "I wanted to give you the bestest birthday! That costs 400 dollars. We can't afford that."

Seraphine once had a thought about stealing but her sister told her that it's bad. "Let's go to the hospital!! No exceptions!" Seraphine grabbed Pauline's hand but Seraphine stopped and froze.

She looked back and her sister was lying.. dead on the floor.

"AGH!!" Seraphine woke up suddenly. 'It was a dream.. calm down, Sera.. you might trigger the dhampir's powers.'

*wooosh* The curtains were flying as if like there's a wind inside her house. 'Is this a ghost?' Sera asked herself and she opened the window. "No ghost. Hah.."

She laid back in her bed but she felt something.. hard? She slowly looked at her bed and she saw a man lying in her bed. "Get out of my bed!!"

The man gave her a shocked face while Seraphine pushed him off. "A pervert in our house, huh? Get out if you don't want to get beaten by my family!!"

"I'm Ho-"

"Now you're gonna ask me if you're hot? No, first of all I hate perv- why are you laughing?" 'I'm not in a good mood today, ugh.' Seraphine raised a brow and looked at the mans clothes. 'He's not from here and I can guess from his accent.'

The man imitated her and also raised a brow. "I'm Hota. That my name is."

"Ah, pardon.. but what are you doing here?" Seraphine glanced for a second at the broken glass window.

"I-I fell, there." He pointed at the window. "Window.."

Seraphine touched her forehead and dramatically tugged him out of the bed. "Please don't give me any troubles. My mom and dad will get mad at me."

"Mom.. and dad? What's it?"

"What're 'them' you mean. You're really not from here I see." Seraphine bit her lip and got the broom and swept the broken glass shards.

"Injured.."

"I won't get injured 'cause I-" Seraphine shut her mouth. Why is she suddenly talkative and lowkey comfortable when she just met this man? She also doesn't think of him as a suspicious guy. Seraphine has a feeling that they met befire but she's feeling shy to ask.

'Shy?' Seraphine wondered. When did she ever become shy? She's always fierce and strong. Her thoughts vanished when someone knocked on the door.

"Hide!!" She shove him under the bed and added some blankets to cover him.

"Umf!-"

"Hold on.." Seraphine opened the door and saw her dad walking in. "Yes, dad.."

"Your room is such a mess! Clean it up right now! You're already a teenager and this is how you act?!"

Seraphine's face flushed of embarassment as she remembered Hota was there and is listening to them. "Y-yes! I'll clean it right now. I'm just studying for the exams." Seraphine slightly smiled.

"Your mother is waiting downstairs. Eat atleast some food."

"But I'm not hungry as I said earlier."

"You ungrateful!-"

*CRASH*

Seraphine's face was blunt so she didn't show any emotion when the loud noise happened but she was a little bit shocked from the noise inside.

"Honey?! Honey, what happened?" Seraphine's dad auickly rushed downstairs and saw his wife laying down on the ground. The pan she was holding is on her face and burnt half of her face.

Seraphine went to check out what happened but a hand grabbed her.

"Vargoka.."

"I'm not Vargoka." She firmly said. "Ah I see. You must've mistaken me as someone else. I also remember my senior earlier. Do I resemble 'Vargoka' that much?" Seraphine sighed and then changed her face with a serious look.

"You caused that, right?"

"W-what you mean?"

"Your English is so broken that my blood is boiling because of you! And the fact that you made an excuse saying you fell from the window! Where are your injuries then, huh?!" She suddenly remembered something. "We'll talk about this later."

Seraphine Futzja P.O.V

I rushed downstairs and saw my mom laying down on the floor. I bluntly smiled. Ah, is this it? Will she finally be gone in my life? The person who made me like this?!

"Seraphine, call an ambulance!" Hm.. ambulance? "Me? Oh, I'm sorry but my friend is waiting for me and I. Need. To. Hurry." I gave a very sweet fake smile and my mother's cries echoed throughout the room.

"Child!!" My dad grabbed my arm and pulled it and I felt like he was tugging my muscles out. It won't leave any wounds however I still feel the pain. "Fine! You, get out of our house and I'll call the ambulance myself!"

"Haha!! Will do, 'DAD'."

I banged the door when I got out and didn't even dare to glance back. They deserve it.. I finally get payback when they also did the same.

[FLASHBACK]

"Yaburi yaburi yaburiiiii!!" Seraphine squealed with delight and her sister carried her.

"Yaburi? Aren't I Pauline?" Pauline laughed and booped her little sister's nose. "Is that a new nickname for me?"

"I'm turning eleven tomorrow. And Yaburi is a secret gift!"

"Ooh, that's cool!"

"Isn't it?"

Seraphine took out the paper planes and a portrait of her sister which she called Yaburi. (Author's note: My little cousin pronounces portrait as Yaburi because she always watches anime and thinks Yaburi is the Japanese of portrait, lol!!)

"Fufuuu!! She'll like this!" She wrapped the gift and went inside tha mall for a stroll.

10 year olds and above are allowed to go inside the mall since in her country, everyone is trained at a very young age and are matured enough to understand s*x including 10 year olds.

Seraphine looked around and found a big teddy bear. She wasn't like kids hee age who is fond of stuff toys and dolls but she wanted that for her to play with it with her sister for them to have a long time playing.

'I forgot I only brought ten dollars because I was just gonna stroll.' She sniffed and shook her head.

While she was walking inside the store, someons bumped into her with whole black clothes.

"Mister..?" The man pushed her. She has a fragile body so when she fell, she fell backwards ans her head bled. "Ah.."

"Stop blocking others way kiddo. Remember that this world is cruel and not as beautiful like those in the novels that you reas. Tsk."

She spotted her parents at a very far view and she called for them. Her parents turned around and got close to her. The man already got away.

"Oh my, what is she doing here?" Her mother asked and Seraphine's vision is getting blurry. "I don't have enough money! But what will people think?"

"Mom, dad..?"

"She's still breathing oh goodness! People are watching. You carry her!" Mother carelessly carried me and handed me to my father.

"Such a worrisome and worthless child." Her dad whispered and her mother slightly nodded.

'Why..?'

"Vargoka..?" The man hugged me and I unknowingly buried my face into his chest.

"My name is Seraphine."

"Seraphine.. would you like to come with me? I promise I'll give you anything and I'll make you happy." He smiled and I felt sadness in his eyes.

"Do I.. know you?" I suddenly asked.
