one day after the attack of the nine-tails in Konohagakure (the village that the nine-tailed beast attacked)
Naruto was given to the 3rd Hokage by Minato (Naruto's blood related father in other words his real father)
Minato gave Naruto to 3rd hokage for his safety after the attack....Minato and kushina (the mother) lost they're lives while sealing the kyuubi inside of naruto...(kyuubi means he nine-tailed fox)
after a The Third hokage went back to the Leaf village, he brought naruto to a room and called for Kakashi and Iruka..

Iruka

they pick up Naruto ang go to their house.
after they arived,
home they put Naruto in a room they prepared just in case
they closed the door and went to the living room

what is the problem Iruka?

what if he gets out of control?

don't worry that wont happen
Kakashi stands up from the couch and walks infront of Iruka

5 years later after kakashi and Iruka adopted Naruto
Kakashi and Naruto are currently at the backyard training
Kakashi is reading his "bOoK"
he then takes a look at Naruto who is panting for air
Kakashi puts his book in his pocket (the book is like medium size soo)
