Hi I'm jisung and I'm an antisocial girl who is just so obsessed with astronomy. Everything in my life is related with astronomy. Even my name. It means love of stars and that's true. I'm a dreamer who lives in a world of my own trying to escape the reality as possible. And a girl who doesn't have crush on anyone or doesn't feel so. And I'm 20 years old.

My mom died when I was 9 years old because of a car accident. And yeah... I always try to talk to her through stars. My grandma once have told me that the stars are the people who left you from the earth. And my dad? Married another woman. You might be thinking my story is like Cinderella, where her dad loves her but her step mom and step sisters abuse her and treat her like a servant. But in my life it's not like that. My step mom loves me very much and I do too back. She was pregnant after a long time after her first marriage but her ex husband didn't wanted the child and wanted to get the baby aborted. Poor people right? How can they even think like that?? So my step mom, Ahnjong loves me as her own daughter. She is really a good friend too. And comes my best friend. The only one person who can bring me back to reality with his baddest jokes ever. I love him so much. Especially his blue eyes that looks like a whole Milky Way galaxy.

We were friends since 12 years old. When I moved out from my house to a new one, I also had to change school. Even after two years the shock about hearing my mom's death was still in my mind. But the only one who cheered me up back then in school and the first kid to talk to me was him. My one and only best friend, sook :) . And also just like his name he is pure and innocent but kinda stubborn sometimes. He is cute tho you know! . This isn't crush, is it? Umm lol what I'm I even saying . It is not!

And didn't I mentioned my grandma before.? Her name is lily and like every grandmas, she is the one who lents me money . But all I do with it was buying books of astronomy and went to space camps.

Aaaahhhhh! sorry forgot about my pet cat, Xiaoqi. I don't think she need very much description. Just like every cat, she is cute, soft and naughty like anything.

Saying all these you might be thinking that my life is all easy and happy but the truth is it's not. I have struggled so much to make my dreams come true. Wasted years and been bullied because of being a girl who is not popular.

Tomorrow is my first day of university. Hope everything will turn out good. Yawns* goodnight , universe!

Morning:

Jisung : Mommm! Have you seen my book?

Stepmom : Uhh... no sung maybe look under that shelf.

Jisung: I looked there it's not in there too :(

Stepmom: You never get your books lost.

Jisung: It's not my books for university. Its a story book. I haven't completed it yet. If I get it I can read it in break time.

Stepmom: Umm but what about talking and making friends?

Jisung: I know you are trying to make me social but I'm not and I don't want to. I just want to mind my own business and also I have sook.

Stepmom: Ok but I can't find it sorry.

Jisung: It's okay I'll buy it from a bookstore. I think it's time byee see you!!

Stepmom: Yeah love you!

Jisung : Love you too!

Jisung : *Where is sook?* I think I gotta call him.

Sook: Hey honey!

Jisung: Don't call me like that!

Sook: okay I won't, hon!

Jisung: uhhhhh! whatever where are you?

Sook: My cycle got stuck.

Jisung: How!?

Sook: Well.. I saw a beautiful rose plant so I was gonna pick one for you as we are seeing each other after 5 months and some stick got stuck in my cycle chain.

Jisung: Seriously!? a rose?! what in the world do you think I need rose so badly?

Sook: No.. it's just like a small greeting gift hehe.

Jisung: Oh godd you are gonna get late on your first day!

Sook: It's okay I will manage to come as a fast as I can.

Jisung: Ok I'll be in class. Bye.

Sook: Bye hun!

I saw new people and some familiar faces. But all I was thinking about was sook to reach fast so that I have someone to accompany with.

Jisung: *What if someone bullies me? *

* What if some popular guys sit with me?*

*What if I get lost? *

*What if I make myself embarrassed?*

What ifs thoughts like these came on my mind.

**Bell rings**!!!!

Jisung: *Seems like I'm starting my first day*

I sat on a middle table which was near the wall where I felt safe and quiet. I decided to read the novel I bought today from the bookstore. As I was reading I felt a hand on my shoulder.

Random girl: Hey which is the first period?



She was pretty. I think she was one of those popular girls that boys were craving for. But she seemed kind and soft. Her hair was the softest I have seen and her fragrance, it smelts like lavender.

jisung : I think it's science.

Random girl: oh okay thank you! I'm Yuna.. Nice to meet you.

Jisung: Oh nice to meet you too. I'm Jisung.

Yuna: Oh nice nam-

Before she could complete complimenting me some other popular girls grabbed her to their seat. Yeah they were probably the meany types.

I went back to my novel. It was about love, where a boy falls in love with a girl who have amnesia. And make her fall in love with him every single day after she forgot that she was in love with him the last day. Isn't it true that love is too blind. People would go so much extend and do anything for it. I never had that feeling.

Suddenly I heard footsteps and a calm voice saying "Good morning everyone!"

I looked up from my book and saw my science teacher but he was not like I was expecting.

I thought the science teacher gonna be old but he was young and handsome. His figure was really like an art! Clean and elegant. The girls was whispering each other, Omg he is so handsome , so hot blah blah blah.

Teacher : "So class I'm going to be your science teacher and my name is Benjiro Tanaka.

So I wanna know you guys too. I will point out someone and that person should introduce themselves to me"

I was all thinking why sook is taking this much time.

Benjiro started pointing out and it stopped on me.

Like seriously!? Why me!?

Benjiro : You! The girl with glasses looking completely out.

Everyone started laughing. I felt so sad and angry at that time and hated him more than anyone.

Benjiro : "Please introduce yourself. Your name, passion, interests. Why you chose this university of Astronomy" (Our university have different subjects and we can choose any and that subject will decide your job in NASA or JAXA or whichever space agencies like if u choose medicine you are gonna be the doctor to treat people in the space agencies. I obviously chose geography and engineering in which I can be an aerospace engineer or an astronaut)

Jisung: Umm my name is...jisung..and..I....I

Benjiro : Yeah tell your passion.

*I felt so nervous and I felt like everyone is laughing at me* what if I embarrass myself* I felt the sweat of the back of my ear* I felt like I'm gonna faint* Suddenly I heard a familiar voice.

"SORRY ! I WAS LATE ..OH HI GIRLS"

There stood my savior, sook.

There's my best buddy! Most of the girls admire him so much. Maybe every girls. Benjiro : ohh you are?

Sook : Hi I'm sook. Sorry my cycle got stuck and that's why I was late.

Benjiro : oh it's okay please sit in your seat. By the way I'm your science teacher, Benjiro.

Sook : Thanks , Mr Benjiro :)

He came and sit beside me.

Jisung : Here you are!

Sook: I'm sorry sung I tried to fix it but it was tightly stuck..!

Jisung: No its okay I mean it was really good that you came at the exact time he wanted me to introduce myself.

Benjiro: I think I will know you guys eventually because the time is gonna finish and yeah we need to start our first class.

Sook: God..he is going to be my competitor.

Jisung: Why?

Sook: Look! it's been only minutes he came and he is already taking the spotlight.

Jisung: Yeah he is handsome

Sook : ugh actually average. Not handsome as me.

Jisung: I didn't told that. No one can beat my dumb handsome bestie!

Sook:hey....

jisung: Haha! I said seriously I actually didn't liked him too..

Sook:hmm...

* 1 hour later *

Benjiro : So today's class have been dismissed but before you go I need to tell you guys that we have a field trip study this year which is next week. If you are interested you can give the names.

A girl: pff..it's gonna be boring.

But I loved field trips so much so I stood up right away to give my name.

Benjiro : oh yes you blinky...

Jisung: *uhhhh* (he meant blinkers)

And yes everyone started laughing again. He made me felt like I was some kind of clown for the class.

Benjiro : " Also it will be not our headmistress whose going to be our lead on the field trip as she is busy with something . The lead will be me"

As he said it the whole class especially girls stood up to give the name.

Another girl : "Actually we are giving the name, because first we thought it's going to be headmistress as the lead which will be so boring but as it is you now we think you are going to be awesome"

Benjiro: "oh haha thanks guys"
