Long before the time of Sparda, there has been a demon who dwells in the transition between the human realm and the Demon world. This demon existed in order to deport back everything that trapped in the transition world, whether a demon or not...

The ancient people give this demon "Yodrik" as name, meaning the Doom.

Every 500 years, Yodrik will emerge upon the very earth, and punish human who cause corruption or try to open the door to the demon world. Some ancient people called him the guardian or tian since he keep the balance of energy between two worlds.

During the time of Sparda's rebellion, Yodrik was sealed so will not interfere when Mundus sent his army to the human world. But because there are many demons enter human world, the transition world also becomes larger, and the portal becomes actively opened.

After Mundus and Sparda gone, the leftover energy stored in the transition world. When the portal open, the energy may spalsh out to human world. When the energy touch a human, the result either dead, possessed, or the energy will unite with the person's Qi and grant that person inhuman superior ability.

After several minutes, no more demons appear.. the man finally can catch his breath....

Even he can use the sword Alastor, he still just a human. He was granted the ability to wield the devil arms. He got Alastor from Enzo, because he just use it as a wall decor. After Enzo sold it, he tell to Dante that there are human who can wield a devil arm. Dante was surprised at first, so he keep his eye without the man notice him. After scouting for a while Dante decided to let him have it, since he use it to kill demon as well...

When he just about to leave, another demon appear... This time it is the *Spinner*, the demon that has serrated blade on it's shoulder and rolling up to slice the target...

The man surprised, but he manage to block the wheeling attack... In this very moment, another Spinner pop out and attack from left side...

He still blocking first Spinner, and use all his hand ... Therefore he can't take out his gun...that make him vulnerable at the moment....

Suddenly, just before hit, something explosively hit the second Spinner.....__*Duaagggkk!!*

The 2nd Spinner bounced back quite far and fall down causing dust nearby smoked up....

The swordman swing up his sword after charge it with inner power, he then jump over the Spinner and attack with Helm-breaker (downward slash) attack... And the Spinner is vanished.

The 2nd Spinner is about to get up, but suddenly the dust nearby is sucked by someone else, the one who hit it before. The dust is absorbed into his arm and he deliver a straight punch to the Spinner directly. He use a glove-like devil arm, Gilgamesh..

The 2nd Spinner also vanished.....

And the extermination finally done...

"Well well, what took you so long?"__the swordman start in sense he know him.
