Ever from the start people love hunting the weak and old, children suffer everyday in every way of torture. And this story revolves on a girl named Mary Los.

"You! Why can't you just do anything right?!" said Mary's stepmother - Gloria

"Ma'am, I am so sorry" she begged for her stepmother's mercy but cannot get any. Yes, she didn't dare to call her stepmother "mother" because Mary was too afraid. Her stepmother Gloria scolded her everytime she made little mistakes, tortured her everynight and day, but Mary didin't do anything to avenge herself because she was grateful for her for adopting her from the orphanage. Her life being mistreated left a deep cut on her heart and brain. Growing up with a violent parent, she sufferd hunger, despair, loss and a cruel existence.

Mary hid herself in a dark room full of hopelessness. She forced a smile on her face to show her biological mother in heaven - Maria Los that despite the loneliness she is suffering, she wants her mother to live in peace.

"Mom, I hope you'll have a peaceful life there" saying those words while she burst into tears, carrying the memories of her mother, she cried.

Being isolated in a room, being alone, other people might say "I don't want to live anymore", but she, doesn't want to experience sadness.

In the next day,

As a child, Mary needs to finish her studies. But not everyday she goes to her class because her strict stepmother disagres.

"Ma'am can I go to school today?" ask Mary while trembling.

Her non-biological mother just ignored her. Mary knew from the start that her stepmother won't allow her to go to school, so she went to a room where there are a lot of books that she ca read. There she found a book titled "A love of a Mother" and on the second page of the book she saw this line:

"My child, whatever yoir problem or despair you're suffering don't take away your life. Love your own, don't ever look down on yourself, other might accuse you but don't bother with them".

Little did she know that this book was written by her own biological mother - Maria Los. Mary who was reading this book in the corner was suddenly seen by her stepmother, Gloria. She glared at Maria and said:

"Why are you sitting there?! Huh?! Who gave you a comfortable life?!

"I'm sorry ma'am I,I,I was just reading a book" Mary murmured.

"What?! You're talking now?! I'll show you! Come here! I'll make your mouth bleed! shouted angrily by her stepmother.

Gloria pulled Mary closer to her and gave Maria 20 big slaps on the cheeks. Maria bled from the scratches from her stepmother's long nails. Her stepmother stopped slapping her because she became tired. Gloria left, while Mary Was so afraid and shocked, she kept shaking and lied on the cold floor. Maria looked up and cried.

"Why? Why? Why? Why is it like this? Mom I have done everything I could. Why is she treating me like this? Is it because I have done something wrong? That I did not notice? Why keep living when I'm just like a walkind dead?!

Maria keep asking herself "why?" But suddenly she remembered the phrases from the book " A love of a Mother". But when she remembered it didn't help her stop from crying but she burst more tears and said:

"Mom I miss you. Mom, I really miss you, why'd you have to leave me here?

The reason why her mother died because she commited suicide. Maria did not know what reason why she did that.

"Mom, is it someting that I did wrong? Did you suffer because of giving birth to a child like me?" cry and begging her mother from heaven to answer her question.

"No I did not regretted giving birth to a lovely child like you" answered and whispered by a blowing wind on her ear.

She stopped crying and started smiling. She hoped that there would be a day that she can see her mother.

The next day, she started sweeping the floor, for daily cleaning. Her breakfast was minimum, all she can eat was the leftovers of her mother. When she finished her undecent meal, Mary ask her stepmother to go to school. Unexpectedly she agreed.

It was Mary's first day of school 'cause she missed the first one. Mary is in the 8th Grade now, when she was on her 7th grade, before entering the school, every student need to take exams to pass a test.On the first round of examination she passed the on the 33rd place out of 142 students. On the second round which is the last she placed 15th so her biological mother and herself were very proud.

Mary is smart and good looking ever since she was a child. The class where she is now is the highest class among othe grade 8 students. She already had her bestfriend in her class, Cristine Alcaraz or 'Cris' for short.

"Mary!!! Maryyy!! wahh~ I was soooo worried about you! Ohhhh! You have so many bruises, who did this to you?! I'll kick her *** now! Come! said cris.

"Huh? no, no, no! Uh umm, this uh was scratches from our cat" Mary lied to Cris but Cris know that.

"Bullsh*t, Mary I know your mother did this to you. I am your bestfriend, you can always trust me!😄 said Cris with loyalty.

Mary can not help herself from crying for having such a bestfriend by her side. She was really moved and glad for meeting her.

"Students, time for class" said the teacher.

8 hours have passed and they have finished their classes. Now it is time for them to go home. They both go to other directions. While Mary was heading home it suddenly rain, she did not bring any umbrella nor cap. So she kept running.
