Waking up from a couch, I realize that I'm in an office. A small one, in fact. The room is so clean and tidy, it's immaculate.

I'm Beth. Narumi Beth. I am 17 years old. Well, 18 this year. I'm in an office which I don't really know why I am actually here.

Walking out from the office, I saw many people outside, walking from here to there, I find myself confused and didn't know where to go. I heard many people's voices as I coincidentally heard my name. "Omg, there she is! Narumi Beth. The one who he brought back!" the employer said to her friends. Hearing more and more of them gossiping, I weirded out, starting to get more confused and panicking at the same time. I walked out then closed the door behind me. Whatsoever, while wondering where exactly I am, my head accidentally bumped into an enormous, humongous, soft, but firm thing while I was walking. I fell, but the first thing I saw is a tall, beautiful young lady with blonde hair. I almost thought she was Regina George for a second. "Are you okay? I am terribly sorry!" she shouted, making a sad expression whilst bowing. I thought that maybe she was one of those bullies that would've shouted and or embarrass me. "You don't need to apologize, it was my fault for bumping into you." I said softly as I scratch my head. While awkwardly standing still I asked "Could you help me find my way out of this building, please?" as I make a cute puppy dog face. No one that has a heart never says no to this cute face. "Uh... Uh.. I need to go, finish my work, I have many things to do! Bye...!". I silently stood still while the crows crow loudly outside. Who would've thought that someone could refuse Beth's cute puppy dog face.

I almost was lost, as this place is just really too big of a place. I got back to the office I was in, since I didn't knew where the elevator nor the stairs were. I wanted to ask somebody, but then heard many gossips about me and that mysterious guy. Who even is he? I felt miserable and confused at the same time that I was too scared to ask anyone because of those gossipers, spreading those meaningless rumour about me. Though I was in the room, I could still hear those nasty gossips about me. They say employers sometimes make erroneous assumptions, but at this moment, it's really too much for me to take, since I just woke up from here, and, since I am still a child! I thought it would be like those brats in school. But this time, it's like witches are wandering all over the place.

As I looked outside the window, I saw a masculine guy with a handsome face seriously walking straightaway to the door with an ice cold-looking face, while opening the door and looking at me miraculously, he said "Are you finally awake?". As surprising as it is, Beth scanned him from head to toe, saying in her head that he looked like that picture of a handsome-looking soldier that dad showed to her before. "Let's go, your father is waiting outside the building." he said. I followed him out without saying a thing and just left with him.

"Dad!" I shouted. I ran straight to him as we hugged each other. "Let's go home, sweety. Besides, I know you're still tired from overworking yourself from that overbearing school." he said softly and gently to me. As we were in the car, I asked him "Dad, who was that guy? I heard he brought me to this place. Why did I woke up from there and not at school?" I asked unpleasantly as he tries to change the subject. "Uh.. I think your mother is cooking meat!" he carefully shouted. "Meat?" I said whilst got very confused.
