*Introvert and silent type. She likes to keep a low profile and read novels in the library. She could spend hours in reading.

Age-17

Bossy princess of the class who acts innocent infront of Song Jae Hyun. She is and intelligent girl and teacher's favourite.

4-Lee Mi yeon-

Age-16

* Innocent smart girl. She is friendly and ready to help the needy. Her goal is to become a nurse and help the sick. She is no less than an angel.

*Introvert top student. He os reserved and likes to chat with our main lead Song Jae Hyun about Science. He wishes to become an engineer.

2-Han ji sub-

*Taekwondo player who knows nothing but sports. He is a smart kid but focuse on sports rather than studies.

3-Cha Seung Ho-

Age-17

*Someone who falls sick most of the time. He is a cheerful guy who suffers from asthma. He has a crush on Yun Sae ron.

4-Choi Hae In-

*Gossip master, a casonova. He likes to tease Jo Bo Ah. He quarrels with each and every girl in the class.

5-Kang Min Jun-

*Someone in his own world. He is least bothered about anyone else except his girlfriend.

*Class rowdy who picks up a fight with almost every teacher. He is an eyesore to the teachers but comes up with good grades.

But the regret of not making a choice on your own is what will hurt you the most.So make choices, it doesn't have to be abosolute correct. We humans make mistakes and that is how we learn to grow up.

ONE WEEK BEFORE SCHOOL

Yun Sae Ron- Ah! Can I do this? Am I capable enough? I don't have enough courage to take up science. I think it will be a very difficult long way. Will I be able to resist till the end? What if I can't make it? Yun Sae Ron kept blabbering herself while watching her image on the large mirror in her room.

"Seriously! Will you stop talking?I really need to study for the exams and yes, the first and most important thing, will you even get in to the school? Busan School Of Science Academy is not a matter of joke", a voice broke in

Sae Ron turned towards the study table following the voice. It was her younger sister, Yun Min Young. Sae Ron squeezed her eyes and gave off a forced smile. Sae Ron was not as smart as her younger sibling. She stood up and grabbed her cellphone. She started playing games. Min young got pissed off because Sae Ron was making noise which made it difficult for Min Young to focus on her lessons.Min Young yelled in anger," Just SHUT UP already! or go to the living room and play with your phone." Sae Ron gestures as locking up her lips. Min Young starts solving mathematical problems.

Sae Ron's phone rings*🎶🎶🎶🎶*

Min Young bangs at the table. Sae Ron moves out of the room. "BANG" Min Young shuts the door. Sae Ron picks up the call. It is her aunt, Yun Mi Soo.

ON THE CALL-

Sae Ron- Hello aunty! How have you been lately?

Mi Soo- I am fine. How's your mother?

Sae Ron- She is keeping healthy, well much better than before.

Mi Soo - it's a good news. Unh! I heard that you applied for Busan School of Science?

Sae Ron- well, things turned out to be like that.

Mi Soo- Withdraw your application. You're not suitable for Science. You are a lazy person. I don't think you will do well in this field. It's not late, just withdraw it.

Sae Ron- But, I really want to study science. I have always loved animal science. I want to work in the field related to science.

Mi Soo- Everyone has a dream but dreams don't come true when you belong to a middle class family. You're the eldest which means you bear a lot of responsibilities towards your parents.You just go to a regular arts school and after you graduate from high school, I can help you get into some professional course.

Sae Ron- but, aunty...

Mi Soo- I have things to do. Think about my suggestions carefully. It's better to withdraw right away. Half the semester is gone and now you want to change school? I don't understand your 'poopy-brain'. Give my regards to your mother. I am hanging up.

Sae Ron- umm okay..

Mi Soo hangs up the call. Sae Ron breaks down in tears. She feels heart broken but more encouraged to transfer to a new school and make a choice of her own.

FIRST DAY IN BUSAN SCHOOL OF SCIENCE

Sae Ron stands in front of the big school gate. She is happy that she finally made it to her dream-school. She pushes the gate-open.

"Yun Sae Ron, let's start the high school life" She giggles and walks in. The ground and corridors were full of students. She feels happy to be a part of this institute.She bumps on someone.He looks up to find a poker face standing in front of her. Before she could apologize the person glares at her," Hey why don't you make good use of your eyes? Idiot", He walkes away. She gets annoyed.

She finds the principal's room and goes in. She meets the Principal and her homeroom teacher.

Sae Ron-" Hello teachers, I am Yun Sae Ron from Daeju". She is nervous but acts strong and confident.

Principal- "Yun Sae Ron, it's a pleasure to have you here. I accepted you to be a part of us this late because your grades are really good. I hope you will make us proud".

Sae Ron- "I will study well".

The Principal then points out to the homeroom teacher, "Sae Ron he is you homeroom teacher,Mr Song. He will be teaching you Chemistry".She bows at her homeroom teacher .

BELL RINGS 🔔

Mr Song- "Sae Ron, let's go to the class now". He sounds calm and strong. Sae Ron follows her teacher and enters into the class. She is asked to introduce herself.

"Hello everyone, I am Yun Sae Ron.You can call me Ron-ah. I am 17 years old and I come from Daeju. I hope we make great friends." Sae Ron confidently introduces herself ,smiling.

Then Mr Song asks her to find an empty seat and settle herself. Sae Ron spots an empty seat beside a guy who looked familiar. Right, he was the one she bumped into earlier.She walks up to him.

Oh Yeon Seo- "she's done for!", laughs

Sae Ron puts her bag and sits down.The boy glares at her and then looks away.

Mr Song starts with the lesson and nothing goes inside Sae Ron's head. She turns towards the guy and finds him fully focusing on the lesson and keeping notes. He looks intelligent.

The class ends and Mr Song leaves. Sae Ron tries to talk to her seat mate.

Sae Ron- "Well,about earlier I am rea..."

Song Jae Hyun- Hey you, transfer student pick up your trash and sit far away from me.

Sae Ron- Trash?

Song Jae Hyun- ugh, your bag! Just go...What are you waiting for? He glares.

Sae Ron picks up her bag and moves in the opposite direction to him. She finds a new seat and settles down. Oh Yeon Seo walks up to Sae Ron .

Yeon Seo- Don't mind him. He is just a bit rude brat. Well he prefers staying away from the girls,well from everyone. He's wierd.

Sae Ron- oh, I see! my mistake.

Yeon Seo- Hi, I am Oh Yeon Seo and you're Sae Ron, right?

Sae Ron- Yeah.

Yeon Seo-Why did you join our school so late?I mean half the semester is past.

Sae Ron- well, I had some things going on.

Yeon Seo- oh, cool. Let me introduce you to everyone.

She goes on describing everyone's personality type along with their names.

Then Yeon Seo pointed out to the guy who glared at Sae Ron earlier. " That is Song Jae Hyun, Mr Song's son. You should try avoiding him."

Sae Ron- I definitely would after whatever I have gone through today.

They both laugh .

Sae Ron- I should try my best avoiding Icy Cold Boss**.

"Bo Ah, Bo Ah, Bo Ah"

"Hey, Choi Hae In what's the matter?"

"Nothing"(giggles)

Bo Ah, annoyed.

Sae Ron tried to make friends with everyone but only Oh Yeon Seo and Jo Bo Ah dropped their walls and accepted Sae Ron.

Sae Ron's POV

The boys were not much interested to hang out with girls except for Yoon Hyun Woo who loved teasing Bo Ah. Everyone in the class assumed, either he had a crush on her or he disliked her way too much. Kang Min Jun would always be looking at his girlfriend's photo or stare blankly outside the window. He never paid attention to anyone in the class. Choi Hae In only knew how to flirt with the girls in class and Yeon Seo admired him right from the beginning but was scared to confess. Kim Joong ki solved questions from chemistry, maths or physics every minute, every second. He loved to study more than go around for chit-chat. Cha Seung Ho skipped class since past three days because his healthy is not so good and is in the hospital. Jo Bo Ah is always reading stuffs , some related to school subjects and some about different ongoing researches. Im Song Young always followed Song Jae Hyun who would not even look at her face and give odd cold vibes. Lee Mi Yeon would paint cartoons on her sketch book. She really was a good artist. About me? I just buried my face under my huge and heavy chemistry book each time my eyes met Song Jae Hyun.

Yeon Seo sent me a text saying that She and Bo Ah were waiting for me in the Convinence store near our school. I rushed out of the class and bumped into someone. I said ,"Sorry" and looked up to reach that person's face. "Damn! It's Jae Hyun" I almost panicked. He glared at me saying, " Hey, are you blind? Damn,my clothes smell trashy". Another voice broke in," Oh Jae Hyun, what's wrong?Did the transfer student dare to bully you?", it was Im So Young followed by Lee Mi Yeon who stood silent next to me. "None of your business", Jae Hyun spoke in his deep voice and went inside the class leaving the three of us behind.

"Hey, transfer student! What do you think you're doing? trying to seduce him?" Im So Young furiously yelled at me and I just stood silently not knowing how to respond. "Hey, Im So Young ! what's with you? Are you trying to bully my friend?" Yeon Seo came defending me. Bo Ah stood next to me and put her hands on my shoulder. Yeon Seo and So Young disliked eachother. Before So Young could say anything, Mi yeon grabbed her hand and took her inside the classroom. Mi Yeon didn't want to get involved in a fight.

"Are you fine?"Bo Ah patted my shoulders and smiled at me."Um, I am fine. Thanks,guys!"I smiled back. "Silly girl, you should speak up when they try to bully you,okay?"Yeon Seo scolded me. I nodded in response and then the three of us entered the class room. The class was in chaos as always. Yeon Seo and So Young glared at eachother. I sat on my desk. I caught Jae Hyun staring at me. It was awkward so I looked down at my book and pretened to be busy learning something.

"Hell, no!" Yeon Seo frowned

"what's the matter Yeon Seo?"

"What do you think Sae Ron?"Bo Ah laughed

"Mr Choi's class" sniff sniff

"Good Morning class! Let me ask you some questions", Mr Choi gave a wicked smile.He picked up a chalk and wrote some questions on the board ."The girl over there" Mr Choi pointed at me. My eyes met his. I stood up. "Yes, you come over here and solve this" He demanded. I walked out from my desk."Good Luck, Friend" Yeon Seo whispered. I picked up a chalk and stood there trying to understand the question. Exactly one minute later Mr Choi raised his voice, "You can't even solve the easiest problems of Physics , how will you graduate from this school?First thing how did you even get into this school? " The other students laughed at me." Slient!" He shouted and everyone shut their mouths. "You, go back to your seat" He yelled and I went back to my desk.

Later, Jae Hyun solved the questions on the board. I copied them down. Bell rang and Mr Choi left the class. I was too embarassed to look at others. "It's okay Sae Ron, this is something happening to every student" Yeon Seo patted on my hands. Bo Ah nodded.

It's lunch time finally. I grab my plate , fill it with food and look for place to sit on.There were two seats beside Hae In. I let Yeon Seo and Bo Ah take the seats. I searched around and finally spotted a seat. I rushed and sat on the chair. As I was about to eat, I discovered that Jae Hyun was right next to me. He turned towards me and stared for half a minute. So Young who was just opposite to us looked annoyed."Hey transfer student, go find yourself a new place.Jae Hyun doesn't like girls sitting next to him", She suggested. "Um, okay" I replied and stood up." Sit down, eat your food", Jae Hyun spoke. " But you.." Before I could finish my words he stood up, grabbed his plate and moved away saying," I am done". I sat down. "Let's go together Jae Hyun", So Young followed him frowning at me.

After eating, I went to the library leaving Jo Bo Ah and Yeon Seo in the class. I scanned the corner where novels were kept. I found the novel, "Assistant In Law" and I placed my hand on it to grab it. Another hand came from behind and touched my hands. I quickly turned back and found Jae Hyun. "Ah, him again?" I spoke in my mind. He bent a little towards me. He looked more handsome in a close-up . My cheeks turned red and my heart beat faster. He looked straight into my eyes. "Jae Hyun", So Young cheerfully called out his name and stood right infront of us. I pushed Jae Hyun and ran away.

I went inside the class and sat on my desk. I burried my face under Physics book this time. My heart was racing fast . Someone hit on my head with a book and it hurt."Ouch!" I turned towards the perpetrator. It was Jae Hyun. He handed me the novel from the library and went back to his seat. So Young was burning. "what's going on, Sae Ron?"Yeon Seo giggled and Bo Ah turned towards me. "I too don't know exactly" I replied staring at the novel.

The day was a mess. I kept trying to avoid him but he was everywhere , in the library, in the computer lab, in the playground and just everywhere. I told myself, it's okay. We belong to the same class and it is absolutely normal to bump eachother in the school premises.

Jae Hyun's POV

She is different from others. Her eyes are beautiful. Her cheecks turning to red and the loud thumping of her heart , everything about her made me comfortable. She never tried talking to me after I asked her not to. She was not someone who would trouble you. She feels like a nice person. Would it be okay if I talk to her? Would it be okay if I become friends with her? She doesn't make me feel uncomfortable. I don't know ,why and how she is different but strangely her existence makes me feel home.
