Waking up from the bed, as my alarm rang. It was 7:30 in the morning. I grab the glass of the juice kept beside my bed, on the desk. The maid approach my side and place the slipper below my foots, I wore those velvet slippers and stood up from the my bed, I fixied my night robe properly. Walking towards the balcony, I admire the beauty of the world, the sun was shining bright, the birds were enjoying the summer, flying freely, It's really nice to wake up in the morning realising that God has given me another day to live.

Suddenly one bird came flapping his wings. I came to know who it was.'scruffy' my pigeon, my pet, I feed him everyday, not only Scruffy, I feed all the birds, because feeding humans are good, but feeding the animals are best, because human can speak their needs from their mouth, they can tell that they are hungry, they need money, God has given them tongue and mouth so they can speak, and many people do charity for them but what about animals, no one ask them, no one feed them, they are mute, they can't describe their pain, they can't say that they are hungry. 

You know what does the name 'Scruffy'. Means? [scoffs]

Scruffy is an English name, for a pet that means disreputable. Scruffy is really crazy, he is always untidy and informal. So I decided to name him Scruffy, but however he is, he is really precious to me.

But now everything is precious to me, everyday is very precious to me! After that day when I lost my parents. Today is the starting of the new year. 1st January 2024.  On this date, one year ago 2023, a tragedy happens with me...it was a shock, depression, mentally and physically sickness to me and...

Death to my parents.

Yeah! They died, My mum and my dad...they passed when I was 21 years old girl. Last year ...Those day were like hell to me... Reason [scoffs] ...

1st January 2023

*Me and my mom-dad returning from busan, we were on mapo bridge. The mapo bridge is a bridge and road that  leads in and out of Seoul and busan. Not only mapo bridge, there are several bridges we have to pass while coming and going busan and Seoul.

“Eomma! I will miss grandpa and grandma, they are really sweet, they took care of me, we will visit to them next month too" I said from the back seat to my mum  who was sitting on the front seat with my father who was driving.

“Why not my daughter, as you wish, you can visit them anytime you want" my mum said giving me her angelic smile. "진짜? 그러면 우리는 많은 즐거움을 누릴 것입니다."

(Really? Then we will have lots of fun) I said in excitement.

Everything was going fine. It is the bet known for being the site of tragic deaths of my parents when the slick roads caused my father to inadvertently drive off the bridge and into the river below, the HAN RIVER, where the both drowned. Me Choi Soo Young was the only survivor of the accident. But in a cruel twist of fate ...when they both drowned, I was left on the bridge, inside the car that was overturned and I was too, I was inside, still on the seat with the seat belt, my neck was paining "eomma! Appa! Please someone help me, eomma!" I cried out loudly, tears rolled down through my cheeks, my heart aches, I cried....suddenly my forehead, I felt pain, the blood drop from forehead, I was badly injured. I struggle to get my hands through the seat belt, "AAh!" I cried out of the pain that suddenly came up from my hand, I watched my hands, a peace of a glass was pierced inside my hand.

But still I tried...I tried a lot. But nothing happened, the pain was extreme. I tried it from my other hand, but it can't reach to the seat belt. I will die, my life will end here, I thought. But it was not the end of life. Suddenly I heard a voice of the cars, that stopped...Slowly the vision of my was becoming blurred, I heard the 'thud' voice of a door of the car, that closed

"What happend here? " I heard a indistinct voice of a man. [Unknown 1]

"I seems like the car drove off the bridge inadvertently because of the slick road " the other voice answered, but it was some woman's voice, a very strong voice. [Unknown 2]

"Is this a trap to us?" One more voice asked. [Unknown 3]

"I don't think so, it isn't any trap, an real accident happened here" the unknown 1 replied

"It's like someone drowned to the river" the unknown 1 said

I felt the footsteps approaching towards me, I can only watch the ground, I saw his foots approaching me

"마이 옴마! 어빠! 그들을 도와주세요 .제발! 도와주세요! 당신의 도움이 필요해요"

( my eomma! Appa! Help them. Help me. Please! I need your help) I pleaded that person for help.

That moment was like, it was the last minutes of me on this world. But suddenly I heard someone's voice, the mans voice... That man speak "there is a girls inside! Kai help me"

"yes sir" the unknown 3 owe his command his name was KAI. I Heard steps approaching. It was Kai's. My eyes vision was becoming worse. Suddenly a face came Down from the window. I blink my eyes several time, to see the face clearly, I saw a man. Those sharp eyes, he was like a fallen angel who had came here to save me, but ...with a hidden face, he was in mask. He bend and give his arm to hold "hold It tightly girl" he said

I saw his tattooed hand, I didn't understand any of the drawings, it was not a drawing there was something written 'J. M the I.3.0.SS' and '06-13' 'What does these numbers means, I grabbed  his arm and then his second hand enter in the car, grabbing the hold handle and he lied on the road and and enter his head inside the car and his face was so close to mine, he was sweating, he looked at me, I looked into his eyes, he did the same.

"Don't admire me this much girl, you will fell for me" he said and chuckled quietly and taking away his eyes from me. Suddenly that woman got inside in the car like this man did. I saw her face, she was beautiful, admirable. "Neo hante musin ili essonni? 리틸 갈 ~" ( what happened to you? LITTLE  GIRL~)  she asked in a a strong voice but in a serious and sad face. But wait! ~~~~ she called me 'little girl', me? Well she didn't  know I am 21, though.

A tear rolled down through my cheeks "my eomma, appa, then drowned in the river" I cried. She worriedly exhales "Samanthaa! Yeonjuna!  hyunjinah! there are two persons drowned in the Han river, get them out, see they are alive or not" she said in a loud voice from the car "Kai! Soobin! And taehyun, stay here, when I will say turned the car, turn it up." the unknown 1 command from inside the car, in his deep, manly voice. It was like he is their boss. And they work under him "Yes sir" they owe his command.

"Jessica! Open her seat belt fast" he again command her. Her name was JESSICA. she move her hand through my waist and find the lock of the seat belt "I found it, be ready. She said to that unknown man  "I am ready, open it." Unknown man said

"hana!.. Dul!... set!" She opened my seatbelt but i will fall on the roof, but I didn't, I felt someone's hands grabbing my waist, I opened my eyes, that unknown was grabbing my waist. I was on him, in his arms. "What you thought we will let you fall, so that you can break you teeth and lost your memory?" He scoffs he was down on the roof of the car, and I was lying on him, his face was very closed to mine. "You are beautiful" he flirt with me with a smirk on his face. "I told you to not to make eye contact, we will fall for each other " he again flirted. "Okay, so first let me get you out of this mess!" His eyes smiled. He was talking to himself looking at me, as I was lost in him. No! Not in him, in his kindness

"Jessi-ah, I will go out of the car now, guide her! " he said she nods.

"Don't move a little, I will slowly put you on the roof, lie down. There is not a little space to move okay? Here are some pieces of glasses so make sure it should not pierced in your skin, you understand?" I nods "smart girl" he carefully make me lie on the roof, "hey girl put your one hands Palm on the roof and other hands elbow on the roof" jessi said. I nod, I was scared, I was breathing heavily, I was feeling dizzy, but I blink my eyes to stay conscious, "do" she said . I kept my right hand Palm on the roof and the left hands elbow on the roof, it does pain a little. "Are you fine?" He (unknown 1)  asked me worriedly from outside, I can see him front of me lying on the road and breathing heavily. I nod to him as yes, I was not having any strength to talk.

He took a sigh of relief "jessi oh! Now get out from the car" he command, she slides from the roof of the car from the window to the road 

"Kai! Soobin! taehyun! Listen to me carefully" he said

"Yes sir!" Both of the three replied

" Turn the car a little from the side where jessi came out. Don't full, otherwise she will get hurt, turn...a...little, do you understand me? He command

"Yes" the approach the side where jessi got in

"Now hold it from the from the roof and turn a little , do it" he command to them

They did as he said, which make me slide to the window side where that unknown man was lying, he gave me his hand to come out I grab his hand and crawl out of the car.  I lie one the road, onto my stomach. I was breathing heavily and, I cried.

"We did it" the unknown man said. "Yeah, well I was wondering  that I called her a 'little girl' but she a young girl, she was looking small in the car" jessi said. "You are idiot jessi" one of the guy said.

"We will talk later, I will pick her up, she is dizzying" unknown said, I heard his voice, suddenly he picked me up in bridal style and ran towards the car "daedanhi gahmsa-hab-nida, (thank you very much ) who are you? Why did you save me?" I asked him, he stopped running, he looked at me. He was just starring at me, and as I was also doing the same. I trailed my hand through his face and back in his ears and remove his mask from one side, I saw his face, it was so beautiful, those doe and sharp eyes, perfect carved nose and proper shaped lips, he was handsome, everything about him was perfect,  he looked at me in embarrassment and worriedly   "Oh! You young girl, don't be so curious about my face, and don't admire my face, You are lucky that I came and helped you." he said, he laughed, his smile, it was also beautiful, he was really a fallen angel to me.

"Don't looks at me like this, I told you" he said smiling.

The way he was helping me, sorting out the thing easily, it seems like he was trained. Maybe he is from army.

He make me lie in the car on the back seat and went out as someone called him "Sir! The both couples died, before drowning, they were already very injured" after listening this, my heart aches, tears started flowing from my eyes through my cheeks. "Uri eomma- appa! 절대 안돼! 그런일은 일어날수 없어 ( no way! This can't be happened) uri eomma appanuen jugeul su eobseo (my mom and dad can't die) they promised me they will never leave me!"  I said loudly

I sat on the seat and got out the car "eomma! Appa!" I ran to the man who told this to him, I was able to run, as I was injured, dipped in blood, but still I ran to him slowly and grab his collar from both of my hands "you are lying, my parents can't leave me alone"  I shake him, he glared at me "leave me yeoja" he said "first tell me where are my parents ~~~!!!"  I yelled at him, at that moment, on that spot he grab both of hands and turn me back and lock both of my hands from his hands tightly from the back, now my back was facing him, he leaned closer to my ears "jal deuleo, (listen girl) give thanks to us, that we save you, you are safe now, but your parents died, and that's not our mistake, that's the end of their life, If you are missing them this much so we can send you there. Give thanks to us that we came and save you otherwise there is no shortage of street walker......a gigolo [a man who sell women's]" he said in a seductive voice, voice that all can hear, he leaned on my neck and I can feel his breath and now his nose which he was rubbing on my neck. He whispered  "well mi iniseyo ( you are beautiful) " he whispered. I cried  "uri eomma appa~, nal deonna, jebal ( my eomma appa~ leave me, please!)" 

Suddenly I heard "RELEASE THE GIRL HYUNJINAH!" Someone shout very loudly, I felt my arm release I turn my head to right from where the voice came, it was that unknown mask man.

I ran to him and hugged him and cry

"gomao, gamsahab nida, Aju Aju manhi!" I thank him, he back hugged me "Don't you know hyunjinah that her parents died, then too you are.." He glared at him

"Mianhae sir!" Hyunjin apologies"

That was the last thing I heard, I was feeling dizzy, everything back out. Then I woke up in the hospital bed, I remembered what happened

"Those people, save my life! Where are they?" I asked to the nurse who was standing besides me

"Oh, you are awake! How are you feeling? " she asked. "Good!" I answered. She sat on the chair besides my bed "there were only two people who saw your car, you were inside, the removed you and call the ambulance, and they admit you here in the hospital" she said. There were only two people, no they were many, aani! Am I dreaming, suddenly "only two?" I asked "yes"

"Impossible! There were more than two people, I saw them they saved me" I said

"What are you talking about! The police investigate that two people's"  the nurse said, managing some stuffs!  "But I saw them from my two eyes. I heard their name" I yelled. Suddenly the nurse stopped and looked at me and remove her mask and came near me "you know you should take some rest, police are investigating." She said. What nonsense literally why isn't she believing me

Suddenly I remembered about my parents

"and my eomma! Appa!"I asked her "sorry! We can't save them, they were already dead in the river." After listening this from her mouth, tears started flowing from my eyes, it was like a nightmare to me, that my eomma, who took care of me, the one who smile during my happy times and cry during my sad times. My appa the one who bought me everything, the one who have always kept me happy. The shadow of parents, is no more on me! "

"Where are they? Where are they?" I asked her loudly, removing the I.V drip [intravenous drip] from my hands and stood up. "Mam, you are not in good condition" the nurse grabbed my arms and drag me to the bed .

"I wanna see my parents" I cried "where are they?" I asked her crying, my heart was racing , as it will pop out, "your parents bodies are in a mortuary, as you will discharge, you can have a funeral and now that you are awake, detectives will come and ask you some questions" she said. She hold my waist and arms and make me sit and the bed "you should take some rest, eat some food first " she held towards the door "I cried, but then I stopped, because Soo Young you have to stay strong. "listen! Where is my phone?" I asked her "I think detectives have it, they kept it as investigation" she said smiling "so can I have your phone, I have to make a call" I said, she handled me her phone and went out, I took her phone, the first thing I saw was the date, it was 3 jan 2023, so I am admitted here from 2 days, I dialled the number.

[dialing...]

Me: hello secretary cho

???: yes! Who's is talking?

Me: Choi Soo Young

Secretary cho: Ms. Soo Young! How are you now?

Me: I am good.

Secretary cho: I am sorry about Mr and Mrs choi. I can't believe they died.

Me: *sobs* yeah and thank you. Can you please come to the hospitals?

Secretary cho: yeah! Why not! I was just gonna come.

Me: yeah! Come fast I have to share something.

Secretary cho: I am coming in a second! Bye. And don't cry! I am here as your guardian.

Me: *sobs* okay

[call ended]

"Jessi! Hyunjin! Kai! Samantha! Yeonjun! [scoffs..] they were not two they were more than two , not even these 5! They were more! I can remind their faces [argh] why!!!!!!

I was lying on the bed, waiting for secretary cho. Then suddenly the rooms door opened, the nurse came inside. I thanks her for the phone, and handled her phone to her. She smiles at me and said "the police are coming for the investigation in half an hour" I nod! "Well listen! My secretary Is coming is name is cho seo han! Please tell the receptionist to let him in." I said. "Okay I will tell her" she smiles and leave, I can't understand what was wrong with that nurse, she kept smiling on me! And she was beautiful, she seems weird.

I ate my food and lie on the bed, I was waiting for secretary cho. Secretary cho was my dad's secretary! He is the best man I have ever seen. The most loyal man. I thought these types of man doesn't exist. But..I was wrong, there are...but there are just shortage of such people's. 

I took a deep breath. I closed my eyes. I started reminding the incident. The people who saved me!

JESSI....she was different, she doesn't seems pure Korean! And she wasn't, her accent was different.

HYUNJIN....Gae sekki!!! [son of a bitch] sekki!!! [young of animal]  byeongshin!!! [dickhead] he doesn't have any manners.

And that UNKNOWN his face, I saw it. He was Handsome...[scoffs] but where is he??? That tattoo 'J.M the I30SS' '06-13' what was does that mean? 'J.M the I...3...0...S...S' literally does that makes any sense? 'I...3...0...S...S'  but why 'the' is there is this a key word 'J....M' was it his name? '0...6..-...1...3' huh? Was he the professor of algebra?  "Argh!!!! Jen jang!!! [damn it ]

Suddenly the room of my door opened, I saw three man entering inside, I saw their uniforms

디텍팁  [detective] where is secretary cho? Aani! They enter inside and sat on the chair which was besides me .

"Hello Ms. Choi Soo Young! I am detective Jung." I sat on the bed "so how are you feeling now? "hello detective Jung! I am feeling much better." I said confidently, the more confident I was looking from outside the more nervous I was from inside.

Detective Jung: I see! So we have to ask some questions from you, related to the accident so we can investigate, so please kindly answer our questions. Tell if you are not feeling well"

I nod at him

Detective Jung: so where did you went?

Me: We went at my grandparents house at busan on 30 December.

Detective Jung : how did this happened? Can you please explain what happened

Me: we were returning from busan, we were on the mapo bridge, my dad was driving my mom was sitting one the front seat, and I was on the back, everything was going fine, but I don't know what happened my father inadvertently drove off the bridge...[sighs] I think it was because of the slick road.

Detective Jung: do you remember anything after the accident, do you remember who saved you?

Me: .....aani [no!]

Detective Jung : are you sure?

Me: [sighs..] 100% sure.

Suddenly he smile, like a smirk. He asked many Questions. I answered him confidently

Detective Jung: so I think this was an accident. But still we will try hard to investigate and clear, if it was done on purpose or it was an accident.

He stood up "So I will take a leave Ms. Choi! Take care." "You too Detective Jung" I said. He left

I closed my eyes, I didn't told him about those mans! Because you know they were not related to my fathers death. It was an accident. And I know, they won't believe me. Cause I was the only one who saw them, I touched them from my own hands, I heard their voices, I heard their names, saw their faces and heard they say about my parents, that they drowned in the han river. That man hyunjin, the one who touched me, I felt his breath on my neck, his touch.

I will investigate it with myself. Cause this is not the proper time to tell this to them,

I took a deep sigh. Tears escape from my eyes. I cried, I cried because I was missing my parents. If they would be here, they won't let me be alone in the hospital, they never leave my side, but why now? Why you leave eomma appa? Why? You leave me here alone, now I think I am an orphan. No ones with me. Now how would I live.

I cried, I cried a lot until I was slept

I opened my eyes, the same hospital ceiling, I sat on the bed, I looked at the window, the sky, it was evening, I remember what happened in the morning, suddenly the door of the washroom of opened, I saw secretary cho getting out from the wash room.

"Ms. Soo Young? When did you woke up, I was worried for you." He said "I called you in the morning, why didn't you come?" I asked asked while sitting on the bed."I am sorry Ms. Young, but the receptionist was not allowing me inside, she asked me my relationship with you , I told her that I am your secretary then too she didn't let me in, she was saying that this is an accident, we can't let  anyone visit the patient. I sat there for a while then I leave, then I again came on afternoon, still she didn't let me go, then one beautiful nurse came and asked my name, so she Tell the receptionist to let me in, she said that you told her but she forgot to tell to the receptionist"

"Ooh!" "So listen I have a work for you, and I want you to keep this between you and me, you will not tell this to any person"  I said.

"I will keep this secret, even I will be dead" he said smiling

"Hmm..So listen, when this incident happened, I was inside the car, suddenly I heard the voice of many cars stopped, the came, they were many, the one of them came and checked on me, the car was flipped and I was too, but it was like a miracle to me, that I was still conscious. The one who checked on me, that men was wearing a mask, I don't know his name...but all of them were calling him Boss, and then one woman came, their boss call her to help him to get me out of the car, her name was Jessi! They helped me get out of the car, and they do it very easily, like they were trained, and that woman Jessi, she was kinda muscular, bold, strong, specially her voice was very strong. And I heard more names, SAMANTHA, KAI, YEONJUN, HYUNJIN, that's it and others were also standing but i don't know their names. They helped me a lot."

"And now they just disappear in air, when I ask the nurse that where are those people who saved me? She said that they were only two, the detective already investigate them but they didn't find anything. Both of them said that they were passing from the bridge and they saw me and helped me, and it never happened, whoever they were, they were lying. There were the whole group who saved me, not two" I explain his everything about the incident

"So they were more than two, and they said they were only two?"  he asked."yes" I nod "so why don't you tell this to detectives, maybe they will help you with this" he said giving me the worst advice. "Argh Mr cho! I don't want to tell them, I have to find them by myself and thanks them and you know detectives will not believe, cause I don't think they were any normal person, they were very powerful..a-and....in simple words they were like gangsters! ....nope..not gangster.....they were like....Mafia. One of them was threatening me that if they wouldn't have be there so, now I will be with my parents, he said 'if you are missing your them so much so I can send you there' and not any normal persons can threaten like he did." I said

"So Ms. Young you are trynna say they were mafia?" He asked "yes" I nod "okay, [chuckles quietly]" Mr. Cho chuckles. "This, this was the reason I don't want to tell this to detectives, they were probably gonna laugh on me loudly, believe me, I saw them with pair of my eyes, I listened and  that wasn't a dream" I said sadly "okay! I am sorry ms.Young, I didn't meant to laugh, but do you think, there will be Mafia in twenty third century" he said. I turn my face on his site after listening this, and gave him a deadly glare. "O-okay, I-if you are telling so, maybe they are, but where they are, if they are so who will believe you?" He said with his eyes widened and raised brows.

"Mr cho, I am Choi Soo Young, daughter of Korea's best Lawyers 'Choi Eun Jin and Kang Soo Jin' and first of all, I don't wanna make anyone believe me, I just wanna meet them again, and wanna know about them, if you wanna believe me so you can help me , otherwise get lost, I will keep another secretary " I said  looking away. "Mianhae (sorry) Ms. Young, I will do anything...whatever you will tell me to" he said looking down. "Okay! Good, now first thing you have to do is to discharge me tomorrow evening from the hospital, I am in good condition now, I can't solve this problem, by sitting in the hospital, and sort this work as soon as possible and then find those two people who lied that they saved me. So you have to do this work from now onwards, and listen, bring me my laptop sketching and drawing stuffs, and buy me a new phone, I will show you that I wast dreaming, now go!" I commanded him, he bow and leave.

"I know that you guys aren't normal people, you are something interesting, I already came to know it after hearing about those two people's. Who lied that they save me" I Stretched my arms and lay on the bed*.

It was 9 ante meridiem. Still lying in the hospital bed Suddenly the door of the room opened and that nurse enter inside with a box, pouch and a bag in her hands. She approached me as she handled me my stuffs and told me it was send by Secretary Cho. I unzipped my laptop bag and open my laptop, luckily it was fully charged, started searching about mafia's.

The first thing I searched was ‘Are Mafia still noticeable in 2023?’ and the answer was speak up by Google assistant ‘‘It is a fact that in some cities and states it has lost its power and influence as a criminal organization. But in some regions it is still noticeable in 2023.’ Yess! That's all I want to hear.

I researched a lot about them that Are there Mafias in Korea? And it was No and Where does the Mafias came from? And as I knew Sicily, Italy. But the one thing which was irritating me, which I can't understand was if Mafias aren't in Korea, and Mafias are from from Italy, so.. Why the hell they looked alike Korean, why they all were korean?

[Scoffs..] There were Mafia in Korea during 19th century, & the biggest Mafia were 2 Park Eun Faction & Bang Kim Faction, They organised the largest crime Group. Their Haunt were in Busan & Incheon.

I read put the the Wikipedia, there were Mafia in Korea in 19's  and situated in Incheon & Busan. So are they still in Incheon &... Suddenly something's clicked on my mind Busan!!! The mapo bridge. When the incident happened was they were coming from  Busan. The Mapo Bridge... When the accident happened, they were their car came from the Busan Direction, from the direction where we were returning from. It means their haunt are in Busan.

I closed my Laptop, I researched alot about them, that I can give a exam on Mafias. But the thing that thrilled me was the way of their ears, burn them, feed them to crows and dogs, drill their brains and do smuggling of their body parts. OH MY GOD. They saved me, they were Mafia gang, they were looking do innocent, but in reality they are so heartless. I shrugged the thought away.

In my bag I opened my drawing, sketching, painting stuffs. I was thinking what to draw. Suddenly the face came up in my mind, & it was of that Unknown man. His eyes, his smile, that shine in his eyes. I decided to draw him.

I was done with his portrait. I looked at his portrait “I wish I meet you again and I will thank you. I don't want to file any complaint against you, I don't wanna reveal your secret,  your identity to the world. All I want is just you. I want to meet you and talk to you in person. I wanna know you. “I swear I will find you one day.” I said admiring his features. His perfect carved nose God has made him in very leisure. “I don't know what your name is, who are you and how are you but thr one who make my heart flutter” After filling colors in his portrait, I took a marker and write in the corner 마피아 익명씨 [ mafia igmyeongshi ( Mr. Mafia Unknown) ]. How many times I will call you unknown.. So I decided to name you...

01 APRIL 2024.

Still I can't find them. When I did research on them and when I went to Detective  Jung to find who they two were who lied to saved me. I looked at their photos, but I can't recognize them, they weren't any of those people and they were also not their during the incident. I was  discharged from the hospital on next Day at evening. And I came to know that the two of them are missing.
