Registration day for new student of University of Great has started. Alisya looking around try to find information desk. After some time, she walk toward a girl who trying to help some other new student who wants to do their registration.

Alisya patting the girl's sholder few times and show her phone that written,

'Hello, my is name is Alisya. Can you help me with my registration, please. I'm sorry for the trouble.'

Alisya is a mute girl who always using her phone to comunicate with people around her. She just lost her mother last month and come to university registration by her own. She feels really nervous and scare as she all alone.

The girl look at Alisya's face then smile.

"Sure! My name is Laila. Let me walk you to the registration station."

Alisya then showing hand gesture.

'Thank you.'

She follow the girl's and looking around as she walk into a big hall and feels amaze with the surrounding. Suddently, her eyes were full with tears. 'Mom, I made it. Now I'm gonna further my study in university. You must be really happy you're here with me'.

"Here we are. This is Syed. He will help you with your registration, Alisya. Nice to meet you." Laila reach out to shake hand. Alisya smile showing hand gesture, 'Thank you'.

"No problem, sis. We're one family here." Laila walk away and leave Alisya with Syed.

"What's your name, Miss?" Syed asking without raising his head.

Alisya as always typing her name on her phone and show it to Syed. She don't know how to make him look at her as he keep his head down.

"Can't you hear me?? I'm asking who are you?!" Syed lost his temper as the girl in front of her kept silent. He raise his head and look at the girl's face. He's dumbfounded for a while and move his eyes to phone that the girl show.

Alisya can't control her feeling. Her face turn red as she's not use to comunicate with guys. Her eyes start to teary as she startled by Syed's voice.

Syed turn to the laptop and type Alisya's name with cynical smile on his face.

'Alisya Sofya. Such a nice name, and beautiful. Unfortunately, she's mute. Not my taste!'

After arranging the room, Alisya felt tired and lying on bed. She reach her phone and open galery. She scroll down the picture several time and click open one picture. She look into that picture and her tears flowed unknowingly.

'Mom, I miss you so much. You must be really happy if you see me right now.'

Alisya put the phone on her chest and close her eyes. Memory with her late mother were playing in her mind eyes like movies.

Outside the room.

"You know what? That new girl is a mute. I feels awkward when she knocked the door just know. I ask who and she kept silent. I don't know that she's mute." Sarah sit on the chair.

"Be good to her and don't be too hard. She's a good girl." Maya try to ignore Sarah's words about the new girl.

"How we want to comunicate with her? She can't talk! And maybe she's deaf also." Sarah still expressed her dissatisfaction.

"Enough! She's mute, yes. But she's not deaf. She can hear you very well. Somehow, better than you. And, she's using her phone to "talk" to you. Don't be that judmental toward her" Maya said as she walk into her room and leave Sarah on her own.

"I just want a new friend who i can talk to. If she's mute, then how can i talk to her. "

"Okay, our class end here for today. For those who still don't have the notes, please. Go around and ask your friend who has it. I want all of you have your own notes on you hand during next class. Class dismiss."

"This lecturer is a strict one, man. She's a lion in human body." Nain laid his hand on Syed's shoulder.

"This semester we stuck in a class full of junior. Most is in their first sem. You can go and ask anyone. They sure got the notes already." Syed rolled his eyes and push Nain's hand away from him.

"You see that girl?" Nain raise his hand and pointing his finger to a girl.

"She's mute. You go to her and ask for notes."

"Why her? And why do I have to ask her?" Syed rolled his eyes.

"You wanna make a bet?" Nain raise his eyebrow.

"What?"

"Come on dude! I will treat you lunch for the whole week if she give you all the notes." Nain getting excited with the bet.

"Don't be nonsense. I don't wanna eat your home cook food for the whole week." Syed stand to leave the class.

"Anything you want dude. You can request anything for the whole week." Nain tried to challenge Syed into his bet.

"Anything?"

"Anything dude." Nain being confident.

"Don't blame me after this." Syed walk toward Alisya after he finish his words.

Alisya raise from her seat. She need to meet Maya who's waiting for her outside classrom. They will have lunch together as Sarah don't want to have lunch with Maya.

Suddenly,

"Alisya!"

Alisya turn her head to look for the person who called her. She's a little startled as Syed stand too close to her. Her body almost bump with syed's as she turn.

"Sorry, I want notes." Syed asked her directly.

Alisya was dumbfound for a while. She don't understand what notes the guy in front of her want. Alisya took out her phone and type something. Then, she raise her phone and show him.

'sorry, what's notes do you need?'

Syed felt a bit boring with Alisya attitude. For him, she just want to waste his time.

"Notes. I want notes. Don't you know notes?" Syed rolled his eyes.

'yeah, I know notes. But, what notes do you want? Which chapter? For what subject?' Alisya felt annoyed with Syed.

'He's the one who asked for note. Then, he being that snobbish.' Alisya said to herself.

Syed just realised his mistake and felt a bit ashame on his act.

"Sorry, I'm in the wrong. I want notes for social work skill subject. All chapter." Syed scratch his back head.

Alisya then nod her head and give her phone to Syed. He then key in his email address and Alisya send all the notes she have to him. She then show him her phone to inform that she already send all the notes.

"Thanks" Syed then leave with embarassment.
