It is the first thing that I remember that I was in a dark room with a small hole that shone just like a star in the night, pleasant but cold.

“Congratulation madam. You have a healthy boy!”

‘Wait am I just born?’ I thought. ‘Wait was the light I saw- err- not important.’

I still could not open my eyes but I could hear them speaking.

Slowly my eyes opened and I could see them staring at me with awe. My mother has dark blue hair with pure black eyes, she looked very beautiful.

Then I looked at how father looked. He had black hair but his eyes were brownish yellow, it gave me chills down my spine as if he was going to be strict until I don’t become mature.

“His eyes are different! They are electric blue.” Mother cried in joy.

They might have noticed it but I felt that something was different in my body. It was as if I could feel some kind of energy all around me. I looked around and noticed that I was in a small hut, which is supposed to be my house.

My father took me up and started to tickle me on my stomach but for some weird reason it had no effect on me.

“Say daddy.” He asked me.

“Alex he is just born.” Mother scold him. It made me feel that my life was going to be lively from now.

I was a kind of rebel, when my parents had no eyes around me I sneaked to experiment on the aura around me. But the reason that I could not walk and was kept in a high cradle it was hard to sneak out. I once tried to go near the fire place and keep my finger in fire but mother found out and took me away in a flash which I could not see.

I felt the same aura on her but it was much more refined than mine and purer which can only be thought in dreams, even for me it was beyond my limits. But she hid her aura as fast as she could not even I could get a proper nature of her aura. It felt the nature itself was in front of me.

For some reason I felt like I was grounded because I could not get out of cradle without her picking me up. I started to experiment my aura by spreading it as far as could, but it seemed that I could not make my aura outside the hut I lived in.

Slowly as years passed I learned to walk and speak but more importantly I learned how to conceal my aura inside myself. I was three years old now and was allowed to go out of this hut. As soon as I went out of the hut I got bewitched by the beauty of the nature. The hut was located on a peak of a hill but the window was facing the opposite side where was a forest. I thought I was living in the forest for years but the truth was completely different from the reality.

Father showed me the the hill. After the tour we went in back and mother was waiting for us on the door and was going to give a lecture to father for sure. I think I became good at reading expressions because mother sent me in my room and father to their room. I sneaked out of my room to hear their conversation.

“Don’t you care for his life? They might find us if we go out of this hut.” Mother told him in a serious but low voice.

“He has learnt to conceal his mana so he will be fine.” Father casually spoke.

“I know he different from us and specifically normal humans, but he has no nature to his mana. He has infinite mana but it is useless if it does not have a nature. What if they found us and try to hurt him won’t he die.”

“I know you are worried about our son but he cannot stay here forever. People like you, the mana users cannot conceal mana presence like him that’s why this house is a barrier to you but it is not for him. He might be able to hide his presence amongst the humans.”

“Yeah but won’t his brother or sister be left alone?”

“Wait what do you mean by that?”

“I carry Frey’s sibling.”

My father jumped in joy but I was more happy to know that I would not be alone in this small hut of similar age.

“But now I believe the world outside has changed. I heard many people got magic at the age of eleven or twelve and the government stopped human experiments on the people who had magic and established magic schools all around the globe.” Father scrolled the mobile screen to show it to mother.

Mother was relieved that we would be able to live like normal human without anyone chasing us. Father left his business for the woman he loved even though nobody was after him as he was not one of the magic users.

A year passed and we left for father’s house in the city. I stayed by mother’s side who held my little sister in her arms while father drove the car. It was the first time I was going to see a city, so I was basically excited. I realized that mother hid her mana presence by a mask. I still wondered why she hid her mana when we were out of danger. But I followed her lead. I realized that sister was a normal human just like father.

When we entered the city my hopes were shattered when I saw few people in rags being bullied by some middleclass people, but the tall towers lived up to the expectations. Instead of the towers we visited a friend of father with whom father had business. His friend was one of the richest people in the city.

“Laurel you seem to be fine.” He said it to my mother.

“Brother it has been five years since we last met, and this is all you say without giving me any gifts.” Mother acted like a spoiled brat.

“I see you haven’t changed yet, but I would never forget a gift for you because I still remember that you had almost killed me on your birthday and the recovered me with your magic until I agreed to give you a gift.” He sighed with regret.

He then gave mother a bracelet and removed her mask. The bracelet concealed mana better than the mask. Before he through the mask I took it so that it would be useful to me sometime.

“Are they your children? What are their name?” he asked. “My name is Frey and this is my sister Cassy.”

“What is your age kid? You have the same hair as your mother.” “Intros first.”

“Oh right my name is Simon Ashley”

“I will be five years old tomorrow.”

“You are the same age as my daughter for today.” He laughed.

Then he drove us to his mansion, which stretched out for a few hundred meters and was three floors high.

“Father welcome back.” A girl came running and hid behind uncle.

Her hair was caramel colored and her eyes were yellow and as sharp as a wolf. She was a normal human too but she wanted magic so she tried to buy magic equipment to learn magic but it was for waste.

First I went for bath so that I could go to bed fast. When I came out of the bathroom a group of maids took me to dressing room. It was the first time I felt embarrassed. I dressed in a cloth which was black from up to down. It suited me though.

Then I went to sleep without noticing that it was evening already where mother tried to woke me up for dinner. I was used to eat homemade food but mother insisted that we went out to eat food. Uncle took at one of his restaurant because it was one of the best food makers and the most expensive restaurant too.

They ordered and I munched it down till I was completely stuffed. I never knew that the food made out could be this good. When we returned home I noticed that I did not see aunt. Uncle did not say anything and said that she had fever and could not come down to meet us. If I guessed by his voice I realized that there was a hint of anger in his voice but it was not directed towards us.

Without asking anymore I went to bed with mother. Father and uncle were going to talk about their business. It was midnight I woke up as I was thirsty but I got lost in this freaking big mansion.

“Stay away from those people. They are bad people who want to live on your father’s hard work. I told your father to not let them come here but your father is soft hearted and did not listen to me and now they will take everything from us.” A women scolded a girl.

“Mom I was with them, they were good people.” Anne said

“Anne, how many times do I say, don’t argue with me. I told you so you have to do as I say.”

“Ok, mommy.”

“Never knew you would suppress your own daughter for greed. If you hate us that much then why don’t you tell uncle in front of everyone that you won’t money that’s why you want to kick us all out.” I said after opening the door.

“How dare a kid try to provoke me. I am going to make your life miserable in this mansion. Just wait for that.”

“Try me.”

I went out and banged the door as hard as I could useing mana. For a while it felt as if it was a minor earthquake.

I then went to the kitchen and had a glass of ice cold water as I loved cold water. For some reason it felt good to relieve my anger on someone like her before I went to bed.

“Good morning” Anne woke me up by opening the curtain.

I was refreshed and went for breakfast. She apologized and said that she was going to follow instructions of father and be friend with you.

After breakfast she told me that I needed to change my style and took me to a mall. First she took me to a salon and trimmed my hair from the side and made me look like some handsome model. Then she took me to clothes store. I felt presence of many magician who were teens but few who were lucky were some adults like my mother.

After entire day of shopping I swore to myself that I would try my best to stay away from girls while shopping. When we were preparing to return, a chaos broke out. Everyone started to panic and run around randomly.

In a second all the glasses shattered and a we heard a roar of a dragon. People started to evacuate the city. We started to run along with everybody but our body could not keep up with them.

I could see the dragon going on a rampage on the ground instead of flying in the sky. It seemed a bit strange. Why would a dragon put so much effort to destroy a city from ground instead it could do it easily if it stayed in the air?

“Anne you go ahead, I have something to do.”

“You mad?” “No smart, bye”

Anne got pulled in the crowd and I returned in the direction of the dragon. I spread out my mana to detect any abnormalities. I could smell blood. The dragon was wounded and sent in this direction by someone by mistake. I feel a nuclear bomb approaching in an hour.

I ran towards the dragon and tried to communicate with it by the help of mana but it took some effort to bring under control. As soon as it got under control it fell dead. It was attacked with a nuclear weapon which made a huge whole in its belly from where it bled, but i was surprised that before it died it layed an egg of a size of a meter.

I took me few minutes to hide it and I went to the closest police station and told them to talk to minister of defence to divert the positioning of the nuclear bomb or the entire city along with evacuated people might die. They took it as a joke from a child but they did not realize that I read an entire library in the hut about the current world.

I could not do anything then warn them, then I realized that I was a magician and the responsibility with magic is to help the ones who are helpless. I looked around to find the tallest building and went on the terrace to prepare a mana field to stop the explosion. Everybody had evacuated the city except the police who were trying to get close to the corpse of the dragon.

As soon as the news of dead dragon was spread everybody started to enter the city again. The missile was still on the way maybe a few minutes away. I spread my mana all around the city and formed a barrier to the city.

Seeing the missile people thought it was a flare to show the military was here but they could not know any better. The explosion was too big and shook the entire barrier.

I could not hold it any longer, I was already at my limits so before I could pass out I lifted the barrier off the city from sides and trapped the explosion in a mana sphere and threw it as far as possible from the city in the air.

“Frey can you here me?”

“Mom?” I spoke with all my strength.

“You have grown up haven’t you? But you should rely on us too. You could have died of exhaustion. Promise me you will never do such things again.” She started to cry.

I slowly opened my eyes but it was itchy. I could barely open them at first and then I realized that I could not see clearly. My eyes had no problem but I became color blind. I could see everybody’s outline only. I looked around and realized that I was in the mansion.

“I promise mom.”

“Happy birthday” everybody wished me.

It was few minutes away from my birthday to pass. I welcomed them with a smile.

“How are you feeling?” Anne asked and everybody stared at me. “Fine just a bit dizzy.”

“Please can I borrow him for a minute?” uncle asked. Everybody left including my parents.

“Why did you not say anything about your eyes to your mother? She could cure it.”

“Mother cannot because it is out of her power. She does not have enough mana to treat me. Uncle I have a favor to ask for helping your daughter.”

“I will try my best to complete it. Is it you want to find someone to treat your eyes?”

“No, please keep this secret about my eyes. I don’t want anybody to worry about me. I can manage without eyes because I am not completely blind.”

“Your mana is not sufficient to keep yours eyes like that forever.”

“No it is not but I don’t need forever. I will find a cure on my own with my own money so that my parents don’t suspect even a small thing.”

“How will you earn money?”

I pointed toward the mask that I had of my mother.

“I cannot allow you to join a magician guild without proper equipments.”

“No worries, we own the biggest auction house in the world.” “But still.”

“Worried that my wife will blame me for not buying better equipment for my own daughter.”

“One of the thousand points.” We chuckled.

That night when everybody were asleep I snuck out of the mansion to find the egg. I hid it beside a trash can in an alley so that people would stay away fro it. As I touched the egg it cracked open and I saw a black small dragon. I tried to pat its head but it bit me and a tattoo appeared on the back of the palm.

“Hungry” the dragon trembled.

“You can talk?”

“No only you can understand me because of our bond.” “Bond?”

“We made a pact of master servant as mother had instructed.” “The big dragon?”

“Yes, before death she asked me to form a bond with you. The last remaining power she had, she fused it with your mana but you wont be able to use dragon force with your current strength.”

“Cool, now I have a pet of my own which can talk to me. Can this world be any more complicated?”

“Well it is.”

“What do you mean by that?” “I am hungry.”

“Yeah you are right nothing can be more complicated than you being hungry.”

“It is not what I meant”

“Then what did you mean?”

He suddenly transformed into a puppy.

“Yeah you have your own mana.” I made a face of gloomy geezer.

We returned to the mansion and I gave him biscuits to munch and I went back to sleep.

“I can’t believe that few days have already passed since the dragon rampage.” I told to my black dragon.

“Hey can’t you give me a name?”

“What should I even call you? I don’t even know your gender?”

“I am a girl, my goal for the life is to go along with the flow of the world.”

“Did you hurt your head? Destiny leads to nowhere.” “I like the name.”

“What?”

“Destiny.”

“Are you kidding?” “No.”

“If your mother would be alive she would have eaten me raw for this name.”

“But she isn’t”

“Frey, whom are you talking too?” mother asked. “Nobody.”

“Come fast we have to go to the auction house.” “Wait for five minutes.”

“Destiny is it? Fine but go back to the dog form. Don’t know how I even got permission to keep you.”

“Your fault for bringing me home.”

After an hour we reached the auction house where all the treasures of the world were auctioned. Uncle took me to the magic division. He showed many swords but none were of my type as I had no nature. Then they showed me a glove with three crystals embedded on it. That glove was made for people like me or people who did not have magic.

The crystals could store magic of other people and when crushed we can use that magic for once. The crystal would regenerate on its own by using mana of the surrounding. To use it again we need to store other’s mana in it again. Whoever made it was a genius.

When uncle tried to show me an armor I saw a wooden stick that was supposed to be a garbage. Uncle said that it was a useless wooden sword. When I picked it up I felt a huge surge of power around me. The wooden sword slowly changed it’s form, and the wooden sword turned into a black steel sword with a grip that suited me the most.

“Th-tha-that was a garbage when I checked it.” “Uncle can you tell me who gave this for auctioning.”

“It cannot be opened to people as it is a private info but it is here from many decades.”

“It is a sword with a mind of its own. It chose who it will count as its master.” Destiny said.

“Nice.”

“You learnt to appreciate your surrounding, nice going.” Destiny smirked.

“Uncle, these two equipments will be enough for me.”

“Fine. Let’s go to the VIP rooms.”

The VIP room was too good. We were offered cake and juices.

“Mr.Simon we have a problem. The president and his family is here and all VIP rooms are full.” A man cam rushing in the VIP room.

“Frey will it be fine for you-“

“Uncle I have no problem with them.”

“Thank you. Bring them in this VIP room.”

“The president huh, it is an opportunity to make friends with him.” Destiny said.

“What is the meaning of this Simon?” a young man in his forties shouted.

He was with his wife, the vice- president, a son and two daughters and few bodyguards.

“Mr.President, it is not my fault that you came late. It is good atleast we shared our spot with you.”

“Yeah, so what?” a daughter of the president said.

The son was cool enough and was not arrogant, the first daughter was as quiet as someone who has no emotion, while second daughter was talkative person with arrogance.

The son and first daughter were the same age as me while the third daughter was two years younger.

“May I sit beside you?” the son asked me.

“No need for formalities, but how may I address you?”

“My name is Arthur.”

“You can sit wherever you like. My family has already made space for yours.”

“How arrogant of you?” the second daughter asked.

I turned around from the sofa and said “Life is full of disappointments and I just add you to the list.”

“How dare y-“

“Sorry for my daughter” the president apologized.

They took the seat and waited for the auction to start.

“What is your name?” Arthur asked me. “Frey is my name.”

“Frey can I see your bond?” the vice-president asked interrupting our talks.

“Sure.”

“Thanks” he said and took destiny for look.

The auction started and one after another many priceless items came up. Then they auctioned the glove that I wanted, It started the bidding at 50 silver coins.

“Uncle how much is a silver coin worth?” I asked.

“Magical items have different worth. 1 bronze coin=10000 dollars

1 silver coin=1000000 dollars

1 gold coin= 100000000 dollars”

“Isn’t it daylight robbery?”

“It is the reason why magic blacksmith are rare but earn the most amount of money.” Arthur explained.

“50 silver”

“55 silver”

“70 silver” everybody started to bid.

“1 gold” Arthur bid.

“Against the president we won’t be able to bid.” Uncle whispered to me.

“Leave it, we won’t bid, but I need the sword at any cost.”

“Ok.”

After a while the sword came up for 5 bronze.

“Maybe nobody knows its worth” I whispered to uncle. “1 silver” someone from the crowd bid.

“uncle” I said.

He nodded and bid for 5 silver

“15 silver”

“25 silver”

“40 silver”

“1 gold” Arthur bid again.

“We cannot do it again.” Uncle whispered.

“Maybe luck is not our side.” I sighed.

We waited for anything interesting but we couldn’t find a substitute for those things. At last they came with a baby lightning tiger for somebody for a bond. They said it was a rank 7 beast when it completely grows.

“5 gold” Arthur bid.

The auction was over with this last bid. We stood up to leave but before we could Arthur called me with him to go somewhere. I asked my parents to go home I would come on my own.

Arthur took me to the items and gave me the glove and the wooden sword.

“But you payed 2 gold coins for it how can I accept these?”

“Yes, it is true. Why buy it for this country bumpkin?” the second daughter started to blabber.

“It is not for free.” “What do you mean?”

“I want to be friends with you and want to know why take a wooden stick. You wanted the wooden stick more than the glove.”

“We are already friends but the reason I want the sword is not something that I can tell, but let me show you.”

“fine by me.”

“Hold the sword.”

Arthur picked the sword but the sword had no change. “Now give it to me.”

He threw the sword and I caught the blade part but nothing changed, but when I grabbed the hilt of the sword it turned into the black blade with comfortable grip.

“Now I believe that it was worth being your friend, Frey”

“Believe me the feeling is mutual.”

“Lets meet sometime else, bye”

“Bye and a very happy birthday.” I wished.

“interesting” he was amused.

“Destiny, where are you?”

“H-help me master, I am in the VIP room.” Destiny stammered.

I rushed towards the VIP room and found that the vice-president was trying to kidnap destiny.

“Mr.vice president please release it, it belongs to me.” “Not for long, I have my eyes on it so it is mine.” “Please refrain from trash talk.”

“Who are you to tell me that, you dork.”

For a second I lost my cool and let my anger take over me. Suddenly the pressure in the entire auction house was shot up and everybody fell on there knees.

“Oh shit.” I whispered and took destiny and headed towards the exit lowering my head.

The President ordered the guards to block all exits as he suspected that there was a terrorist in the auction house. He asked everybody for a check.

The vice president came up and said something in presidents ears and presidents eyes lit up.

“Hey kid your name is Frey right?” “yeah sure, why?”

“Name a price for your beast.” “Sorry but not interested.”

“I can pay you 100 gold coins at most.”

“Sir as I said before, I have no interest.” And gave a glare of anger. “Kid I will offer the lightning beast too for that beast.”

“I am not going to repeat myself again.”

Soon a guard armed with a gun shot at me with the signal of the vice president but for some reason my sword went violent and I touched its grip and it turned to black blade and moved on its own in which the bullet was slashed in two. My anger knew no bounds and I unleashed dragon force stage 1. The time was frozen and I lashed both the hands and legs of the vice president. Then I collapsed for draining too much power.

“Frey, how many times will you make me heal yourself?”

“Mother why am I here?”

“Your uncle brought you back from the auction house, he saw the guard shooting you before you collapsed. But nobody knows what happened to the vice president. The vice president is blaming you, what a joke. The president is going to repay for their actions by giving you 5 gold coins. Your father is arguing with the envoy who is in the living room.”

“Wow how much time was I asleep?”

“A week. Even after the nuclear incident you needed 1 hour of my treatment but this time it was for a week and I am tired.” She felt asleep in a moment.

“Destiny?”

“Yes master.”

“Why do I feel weak.”

“I am not sure but I can feel that you are losing a lot of mana from your body. Maybe your mana core is broken.”

“Mana core?”

“Yes, it is a place in your heart where your mana is stored. It is formed only by fortunate people. Now yours is broken so you can not use mana for long. You will only able to convert your sword onto black blade once or twice at max.”

“What even to make my sword in its best condition. How will I become an official member of the adventurer guild.”

“Don’t worry master, the wooden sword that you used helped you learn the best sword style ever created. Now even if you use a normal sword, you can use the sword effortlessly.”

“Really?”

“Why would I lie to you master.”

“Thanks, Lets go down and stop father from argueing with the envoy.”

“Ok, master.”

I replaced mother on the bed and went to the living room to meet father. Father stood up and hugged me tightly as soon as came down.

“You may leave.” I said to the envoy.

He left a bag which had fifteen gold coins as compensation.

“Dad I am fine, but where is uncle?”

“He went to auction house to find something called the golden lotus.”

“Golden lotus?”

“I don’t know what it is entirely but one of its effect is to improve the mana core bit by bit. Maybe it can cure your mana core.” Destiny said.

“Dad I want a new sword so I am going to the auction house.”

“Fine by me as your wooden sword is of no worth.”

“Dad my sword is more precious than my life. Don’t throw it away.” “Fine, I understand.”

“Bye dad, I am taking Destiny with me.”

I took a cab and went to the auction house. It took me a little time to reach uncle with my tiny feet.

“Uncle, I want to ask you something?” “Yeah ask me.”

“Who are you?”

“What do you mean?”

“You are not a human, nor are you an elf nor a dwarf nor a demon, but you still know a lot about illness related to the new times.”

“On what basis are you asking me this?”

“The golden lotus. Isn’t it something nobody knows about. Your dragon is too much talkative.”

“Point two, how do you know that my dog is actually a dragon? Aren’t you the talkative one?”

“err that was an insult wasn’t it kid?”

“the biggest one that you knew that I was blind when I told nobody about it and even my mother could not figure it out.”

“You caught me but I might tell you that you are not always blind.” “Yeah you mean by my powers of mana manupilation isn’t it?”

“You are wrong. Don’t you remember anything about your dragon force transformation?”

“Wait, during my dragon force transformation?”

“Oh right you directly went to the first stage without practicing the transformation which caused your mana core to break.”

“Ok now who are you?”

“People call me many things like king of beasts. That’s how I can even hear your conversation with the dragon.”

“How are you hear your majesty.” Destiny spoke with sweat dripping down.

“No need for formalities. You are going to grow into a stage 2 beast second to me. When you reach that stage you will inherit my position, how about it?”

“Thank you your majesty.” “Is it ok if I call you uncle.”

“I am more than happy for it. I was your mother’s bond before I loved my wife. Leaving your mother’s side was the biggest mistake in my life. I made you all suffer.”

“Actually because of you my father’s business was stable, I am more than happy to forgive you.”

“Thank you. Now I am trying to find the golden lotus.” Till now nobody was able to find it but I can say that it is in the land of humans.”

“huhhhhhhhhh, land of humans?”

“Oh right there are different lands for different species.” “Oh do you mean by dwarves, elves and demons?”

“Yes but there are many species in these types like in dwarf we can call half bloods who are dwarf and human or similar specie, elves have another specie called dark elves and demons who are like me beasts who are strongest kind of demons.”

“So what are there positioning?”

He brought the map of world and showed the land. The north was in possession of demons, humans have south and west while dwarfs have east.

“What about the elves?” “Nobody knows where they live.”

“Ok its fine, but I need a sword which can be used against a beast of level 5 at least.”

“Easily, you can have my sword.” He gave me a sword. “This, is this a magic sword?”

“No it is a normal steel sword fed by my blood. No demon of level 5 or below can harm you.”

“Thank you, uncle.”

“Yeah now go to the adventurer’s guild for registration.”

“Bye.”

“Wait. I will help you with your disguise.”

He placed his hand on my shoulder and my body started to brim with energy and my eyes were cured.

“Uncle this.”

“I made you go in the dragon force transformation.” “How long will it last?”

“It depends on you. When you want to come in your normal form you will be in your normal form, but I advise you to never come in your normal body until you are coming home. I have given you energy as much as that you can turn into this form once again after becoming a normal human once.”

“Thank you again.”

“Won’t you look at yourself in mirror before leaving?”

“I saw myself, aside from my powers only my hair has changed. From blue it turned into silver.”

“Kid I underestimated your heightened skills once again, sorry.” He smirked.

The adventurer’s guild had a branch in our city so I visited there to join so I can take care of my family from shadow whenever needed. For now, I needed to join the guild. I wore the mask and stepped in the guild and found that this place was like a palace, a place of luxury. I went to the registration counter and asked for registry.

“Kid you cannot survive in this guild, you might be of wooden rank.” “I don’t care I will go on with proper evaluation.”

“Ok then fill this form.”

“Wait” someone shouted from the stairs.

Slowly a person came down from his cabin and asked me whether Simon had sent me. I nodded.

“Good, come behind me.”

I followed him till he took me to an practice arena where many people who came for recruitment were waiting. Far aside I saw a kid of my age, he wore spectacles and had brown eyes, he wore a cap so I could not see his hair. I went and sat beside him.

“Hi”

“Hello”

“What’s your name?”

“Ahjeel”

“What a weird name. My name is Gray.” I lied to keep an alias. He kept staring at my wooden sword for some reason.

“Want to see?” “Yes, please.”

I handed my wooden sword to him and somehow to transformed into a pure white blade.

“Wow, in my hands it becomes black!”

“Yeah, it becomes white in hands of the creators descendants.”

“Wait, you were in the auction house competing against my family before Arthur interrupted.”

“Yeah, it is masterpiece of my father.”

“Ahjeel, no need for test you are silver third stage.” Instructor said.

Many people were shocked that he was silver third stage without giving exam.

“What is the silver third stage?”

“In guild they determine our power in form of stages.” “What about wood stage?”

“haha, it is for normal humans.”

“Explain it to me.”

We entered the arena and took our position, hundred meters away.

As the match began the ground started to shake. Electricity started to form around him which meant his nature of mana is lightning.

I had no chance of dodging if he came head on and that what he did. He passed by me in an instance. I saw everybody gasping.

We both chuckled while I tried to use my sharp sense to hear what happened. Guild master headed back in his cabin and called the vice guild master and asked him to prepare someone to spy on me.

“What did you see when you tested him?”

“He is a monster. He did not move an inch before my blade was few millimeters away from his mask. But suddenly his sword went faster than what I could see and I almost lost my right hand.”

“What? You are gold second stage. Does that mean he is gold 3?”

“No maybe above it. His power can be compared with a beast of stage 2. One level before beast king, but why can’t we find the beast king?”

As we were leaving someone defeated an instructor with fire power and was just a year older than us. He got promoted to silver third rank too. His face resembled someone that I cannot remember right now.

For a split of second I disappeared from their sights and then appeared with a bunch of thieves and traps.

“Why should I believe you? And payment is done when I reach that city and I want to reach there today evening.”

They started driving slowly at first which was walking for me. Then they started to pick up the pace to the speed of hundreds of kilometer per hour.

The girl was peeping through the window to find me but could not see me anywhere. She asked the driver to stop to pick me up and tease me. The driver stopped the car and was about to make a Uturn but the car was not turning.

A call came up and the lady frowned at the call and apologized to me for don’t know how many times. Then she paid me 50 silver coins.

I took the money and went to the auction house and uncle gave me a secret room to live in and I could make an excuse to home that I was somewhere on quest and I won’t need to go in normal form.

We left for the forest and scouted it completely but could not find any monster, but I found a group of slave traders who had caught a small girl. Which reminded of my younger sister. I could not control my anger and slashed everyone there to free the girl.

“Why did you save me.” The girl asked me while trying to stop her tears.

“Weren’t you in danger?”

“I don’t mean that. I am an elf then why?”

I removed the headband which covered her ears. They were really long and point as in written in stories.

“Is it necessary that human should hate elves?”

“Don’t know but brother says that all humans are bad.” “Do you know where your house is?”

She nodded and pointed in the deepest part of the woods but I could not find anything there when I scouted. To make her feel better I took her in the direction where she pointed and it was an unfortunate encounter with a dark elf.

“It is not a matter of you humans.” “When I saved her it became my matter.”

“Then be ready to face the consequences” he said and shot three arrows dipped in deadly poison.

I caught all of them but he disappeared from where he was and appeared behind me with daggers. I dodged a fatal wound but it cut my skin from my left hand.

“You misinterpreted. He meant if your mana core was not broken.” “Crap I am dead.”

I tried to dodge his attacks and blocked when I could not dodge. He did not seem to slow down a bit and inflicted wounds one after another.

I had no option but to use dragon force stage 1. The time stopped and I loved this moment where I could do anything to opponents in few seconds.

I walked near the dark elf and tried to stab him but he broke free and dodged my fatal attack and lost a hand.

“Use stage 2 or you will die.” Destiny shouted.

It was something of big decision whether lose mana core to extreme level or die. I chose to lose mana core by extreme wound. Dragon force stage 2 activated forcefully. My hair grew long by a meter and it color changed from silver to pure white, my eyes turned into eyes of dragon. They were yellow with a long vertical line of black.

“Just changing your form won’t help you.” Dark elf laughed and came to kill me with thousands of wind blades.

I moved my hand horizontally in a speed of a normal human while he threw those blades on me. The wind obstructed vision of everybody there. After a while when we could see, we saw that I slashed entire forest off along with the dark elf and many elves were fallen on the ground.

“Who are you all?”

“We were here to help the princess but you took care of her for us thank you. Now we will take her back to the kingdom.”

“Wait, I accidently took her mana while transformation.” I touched her back and attracted the mana from the surrounding and replenished her but I went in my normal human form soon after.

When I woke up, I saw that I was in a tree house and the princess was sitting on a chair beside my bed but sleeping by keeping her head on the bed.

I was healed completely but I did not know where I was. Destiny came beside me and said that it had been a month since you fell unconscious. The elf king wrote a letter to your mother about something and today your mother wrote the message back allowing you to stay in the kingdom of elves.

“Fine I am feeling sore so let me go for a walk.”

We went out I saw that many people were giving evil glare towards me. I saw few kid elves playing. It felt a warmth to see that there was a place where some species were living in peace.

“Nothing, I am just happy that you all are living in peace.”

“Today” princess smiled as she clinged at my shoulder.

To show mercy I just knocked him unconscious by hitting him in the medulla.

“Take care of him” I said to the bunch of kids along with him.

“The king is asking for your presence in the party today.” a guard elf said and handed me an invitation.

That night when I entered the party it was just like a normal human party but elves still gave me a glare that gave me feeling of anxiety. Instead of looking at anyone I started to eat food so that I will feel a bit free.

The king then asked me to go in a chamber with one of her sister. I listened to him. The elf remove my top clothe and started some kind of mana sequence and it started to burn in every pore of my body. It was as if I was put in fire without mana cloak.

The next day when I woke up I realized that I could move more freely and my mana core was repaired a bit and I could use mana again but not as effectively as before. I needed the golden lotus to completely recover.

As I was about to go to find Emily, but she came to wake me up. “When did you become an early riser?” she asked.

“Before meeting you.” I chuckled and she led us to breakfast table.

The king asked me to come for a spar match to determine my power. He took out his sword and tried to stab me without a warning and it was at an unbelievable speed but my wooden sword reacted and I blocked it easily. In a blink of an eye we exchanged thousands of moves.

At last I lost and accepted the elf king as my teacher. Along with that I got a new rival, the son of elf king who hated humans more than any blood thirsty fiend.
