" Elina meet David's son and  your brother Steven " my mom told me as I turned from the  table to look behind to meet the person for whom we were waiting from 15 mins at dining table without touching the delicious foods . When I look at the person  my  whole world came under my feet and my heart beat so fast like it would come to my mouth .

" Steven.." whisper came from my mouth . The person I ran from 2 years ago without even breaking up properly is now standing in front of me .

"Steven meet Elina my daughter and your sister" my mom told him as he look up from the phone at which he was busy .

No I don't want him to see me I turned around on the table again and focus on my empty plate.

"Elina say hello to him " my mom pinched me for me being rude to the person I'm meeting for the first time well at least she thinks that . I didn't look back .. I really don't have the courage to meet him after how I left him .. 

I was busy in my thoughts when I saw him from my visible sight to take the seat in front me beside David .

" Elina " my mom again pinched me .. I know I have to face him this time .. I looked up trying to control all my emotions on my face . When I look up  I saw him he was still busy on his  phone it was clear that he has no interest to meet his step sister . Then .. then he look up ..

" You .." the only word left from his mouth . Oh god his eyes ...his beautiful grey eyes I used drool over... His shaped lips god ! I still want to kiss them . " You guys know each other ? " David speak up help me to break from my dirty thoughts . " No.. no we don't know each other how could I know him ? I'm meeting him for first time " I said David with an awkward smile . I  couldn't afford them to know about what happened with us ...  I took a deep breath ...

" Hi I'm Elina" I gestured my hand forward for a handshake . He looked at me for sometimes with no emotions in his eyes  .

" Hello stepsister " he said " what is your name you said ? Sorry I didn't pay attention"

**** ! Did he really forget my name ? Never ! I know he is doing this intentionally ..

" E..Elina " I said with a tight smile .. he didn't took my hand for shaking I was about take it back but then he took it and squeeze it tightly . " Nice name " he told me still squeezing my hands tightly with his strong masculine hands . His eyes was fix on mine . I can feel my mom and David are watching our interesting encounter. His touch still gives me sensations . I tried to took my hands back but he didn't let me . " I think you guys are hungry .. come eat " my mom told us help me to get rid of his tight hold that was paining me . I rub my fingers .. that idiot was holding it so tightly .

Did my luck is that bad ? In this whole world with 7 billions people he had to be my step brother.

My mom served me rice  some potatoes and chicken my all time favorite  ... Few minutes ago I was dying for tasting them I hadn't had my mom's cooking for years but right now I don't have the mood to try this foods anymore . Suddenly I lost my appetite. But I don't want to be rude .. my mom cooked for me whole day . I took a spoon full of rice and then I taste the chicken ..

" baby do you want some more ? I know you love chicken made this way not so spicy  " my mom said ... " No mom .. it's more than enough "

I was not comfortable there I could feel his gaze on me constantly ..

" Steven do you want some chicken ? "  My mom asked him

" No I'm ok " he told her

"Don't you liked it ? " my mom voiced filled with concerned. I can feel my mom is trying to pamper him .. and the way he is bheaving I can feel he is not ok with my mom or may be because she is my mom . I don't want my mom's marriage to ruin because of my past relationships with him.

" No Elizabeth it's good but I liked spicy foods " he told my mom with a soft smile .

May be I'm thinking wrong may be he likes her .

" Mom I'm done "

" But baby you haven't even finished it.. no finish it first  "

" Mom I'm full pls don't force me "

" It's ok .. Elizabeth don't force her ..she may be tired .." David told my mom

" Elina you can go to your room if you feel tired you don't have to be formal dear  "

" Thanks David "  

"Good night Mom .. good night David "

I was about to left the table but then my mom

" You didn't say good night to Steven" she told me

" Uh.. yes sorry go..od night Steven" I told him

He looked up from his phone and showed me his billion dollar smile

" Good night sweet sister" his voice filled with smirk

I took the stair and came to my room and close the door .

I shighed !

Why God ?why ? Why you have to do this with me . I change myself in my Doraemon pajamas and then opened my phone gallery. I scrolled our old pics . Yes I was very happy .. we was so much in love and may be I still love him and that's the reason I haven't dated anyone seriously in this 2 years.

It all started 2 years ago ..

Flash back

It was my last year of masters. I studied so hard all this years . I never compromise with my study . My  goal was to get the job at MBIDA  ( imaginary name ) best  software company . The best part was they will come for campusing in NY . And it was my opportunity to hit it. I was preparing for it last 4months .

I took a cup of coffee and again sit on my study table I was studying last 6 hours continuesly.

" Elina "

Stella called my name she is my roommate and best friend. When I came NY she was the first with whom I get comfortable. I am a little introvert. Making friends with people easily is not my forte. And she was opposite of that I don't how our vibes matched and still  now we are  best friends. She is from NY but she choosed to live separately from her parents she wanted to enjoy her life . She works at a coffee shop .

"Yes Stella two mins I'm almost done "

Though I wanted to read few more hours but I closed my books and went to her room .

" Pls help me choose a dress " - S

" Where are you going? Date ? " - E

" We're going to pub " - S

"We're going ? " I asked

"Yes we're going "

"No .. no I'm not going anywhere " - E

" No I'm not going anywhere" I told her

" No you're going with me "

" Pls Stella I still have to study .. I just came to check you "

" Elina for god sakes ... It's important to enjoy the life with study anyway you always in your study so if you skip one night it will not effect that much "

" Stella .. " I know today I can't win

" Ok .. but where are we going ? "

" I didn't expect you will agree this easily " she laughs

" Cause I know today you are not gonna let me go " I said and sat on her bed .

"So where are we going ? "  I asked her .

" We are going to pub " she told me

" But I don't have dress suitable for pub "   she narrowed her eyes towards me " well when will my closet help you ? " Stella told me and I opened her closet without asking. We're bestie so there is no need to be formal.

I choosed  a black off shoulder dress.

" I'm wearing this " I told Stella

" Umm.. great choice baby " she winked at me

" Well well" I also laughed .



I put on the dress. I choose to let my hair loose on my back .  i used some eyeliner and mascara .. I love my eyes they are beautiful almond shaped and I love to highlight them . Then I applied a nude red lipstick . 

" Yee..  perfect! " I pout on mirror and took some mirror selfies and then came to Stella . She was wearing a hot red dress . Her curved was showing perfectly

" Mammamiya .." she teased me

" What ? " I laughed

" You're going to take all my highlights today.. .. why do you hide your curves ? They are more than perfect  ". She is right  though I spend most of my time in study but I make sure to do exercise . I work on my body to make it sexy.

" I don't want the attention of those **** boys ... You can keep them "  we both laughed and headed out of the room . We get in our car and reached at " Black Night " pub .

We entered the pub .

It was so full today. We managed to went to the corner seats and placed ourselves. We order our drink and started to enjoy the music .

" Hey I'm coming " Stella told me

" Where are you going ?" I asked her she

gestured me towards a boy who was drooling over her . I laughed and nod .

I was seating alone and enjoying my own company . I never feel bored with myself . Then I suddenly felt someone came and seat beside me . When I look at him . I almost spit the drink . He was Handsome as Heaven .. I mean like those magazine cover boys . His grey eyes and long lashes . He didn't look at me but I was almost checking him head toe . He was so tall maybe 6"2  . And with that tight shirt he was wearing I  can imagine his abs and muscles. He looked at me and I instantly looked away .  I saw from my pheripheral view that he was still looking at me . I felt nervousness. Like seriously why ? May be I got a small crush on him . But I'm very good in controlling my feelings so though I wanted to  look at him one more time but I didn't. Then he hold his hand in front of me and introduce himself

" Hi I'm Steven "
