Charlotte's POV:

I just finished from the meeting when my father called me and told me to come home. I said i was busy but he still insisted. I packed my things and called my driver and i went home. As i enter the house, I saw my father and other people on the living room.

"Dad, why are there so many people in our house?" I asked.

My dad replied, “Come here, Charlotte. This is Mr. and Mrs. Wilson; You're In-laws.”

I was so shocked at my father's words. But Mr. and Mrs. Wilson smiled ta me like they're happy to have me as there Daughter-in-law.

“Dad, what do you mean by that?!” I screamed.

I wanted to know if this things are serious or they just wanted to use my Dad's influence.

Though the Wilson's are much richer than us, We, The Anderson's are influential abroad. Our family is also well-versed and respected. They would rather offend the President than to offend us.

“Calm down Sweetheart, This is for your own good, You are already at the age of marriage. You shouldn't work too much and just live your life to the fullest” My dad said.

My dad is really kind to me and always give me whatever i ask. But if i refuse this, There's a chance that they will take my family as their enemies. So to ensure the safety if my dad, I will..

I sighed and replied, “Fine, But in one condition”

My dad was delighted and The Wilson's are also happy. I hope it's true and i hope they're not pretending..

We had dinner with them and spends the rest of the night with them. Dad and the Wilson's seemed to be getting along well. But i Shouldn't let my guard down. The Wilson's finally left and i told my dad to rest. After a long night I ended up falling asleep and woke up late.

My maid, Ana, has been very loyal to me ever since i was a kid. She woke me up and served my breakfast. After i ate, i took a shower and went downstairs. Ana walked towards me as i sat on the couch and wipe my hair. She handed me a letter left by Dad and went at my back to brush my hair. I read the letter and it contains..

“Charlotte, Mrs. Wilson said that it's better for you to meet her son. So go to The East Latte Cafe at 2 and talk about things.”

“Wouldn't that count as a date?!” I said while covering my flustered face.

Ana was shocked and just giggled.

“Oh my, My dear lady is so innocent when it comes to love~” Ana said.

“S-Shut up!!!” I replied.

Ana just stood there giggling, I went to my room and changed my clothes. There's still so much time so i ate some lunch and head to the cafe.

As i went in, I see no other people except the staffs and a very exceptional young man.

He has a long and slender leg, with a dark blue hair pushed back behind; blending with his black suit and white tone. His long eye lashes captivated my heart. His dark blue eyes suits with hair. His face was emotionless and indifferent that made my heart pound.

My face turned red when he looked at my direction, he put his iPad down and waved his hands on me. I went to him and took a seat. He handed me a file--- put down his elbow on the table; rested his chin on his hands and stared at me. I was confused but i just opened the file and there was stated “Marriage Contract”.

“What..does this mean?” I asked.

“Can't you read? This states the rule for our Marriage” He rudely replied.

I stared at him in silence, hiding my madness from him. I browse through the Contract and saw some amazing words.

"Do not Interfere In Each others private life"

"Strictly, do not Fall In Love with Each other"

I hid my smirk and lowered my head. He asked me what's wrong and i answered:

“Nothing's wrong" I said and smiled. “I hope we get along”

Charlotte's POV:

After my meeting with Calix, I went straight home and relaxed on my bed. Not long after, My Father came with My stepmother. I run down quickly and jumped on her.

“Silly girl, You'll break mo bones” she said while giggling and patting my back.

“Not my fault, I missed you so much” I replied and pretended to pout.

“My bad, hehe. I missed you too” She said and kissed me on mh cheeks.

“Ehem!, I'm still here” Dad said shyly.

Me and Mom just laugh on how Father can be cute sometimes, hehe.

Even though she is my Step-mother, She is kind to me and always treat me right. We get along so much.

Dad went to his study to finish some documents while Me and Mom went to the Kitchen to make some food. When we're done, we ate together and discussed some things.

“Sweetheart, I thought you didn't want to get married yet?” My mom asked.

“Oh come on, Our daughter is already at the age of marrying, her best friend is already married a year ago” My Dad interrupted.

“But she's not our daughter” My mom coldly said to my dad.

“Honey 😢.. " Dad Fakely wipe his tears.

“Mom, It's fine. I already met Calix and he's a real gentleman. To be honest, I already signed a contract with him.”

As i said those words, The room fell into silence. My mom was so shock and My father is just speechless.

“Even though I'm the one who's forcing you to get married, I didn't think you'll agree so fast” “Calix is well-known for his Indifference and Coldness to others. I'm just worried that.. ”

Before dad could finish his words, i interrupted him and said “Dad, you don't have to worry, I know what I'm doing. He can't do anything to me. ”

My father just sighed in defeat, Even though he wants me to get married he also doesn't want me to be married and get maltreated by my partner. Just like those unfavored Concubines of the Ancient times. but it's different because.... I'm the Empress who rules the Emperor.

I'm going to meet Calix again tomorrow for the Pre-Nup. I hope everything will go well.

I woke up much earlier before the clock rang. I prepared my clothes and took a bath. Ana made some breakfast and I ate after i took a bath. When i was ready to go, a dazzling red Mercedes was parked infront of my Door. I wondered who it was, Then a Built Man wearing a white long-sleeves came out from the car. He went up to me and said--

“Change your clothes”

I don't know if I'll be grateful or I'll get mad.

“Why do you care?", I replied.

“It's too revealing”, He said and knocked my forehead.

I was so flustered that my face was so red and my heart was pounding so hard!!!. He smirked and signalled me to go back and change. I just pretended to be mad and turned my back on him.

“Hey”

“What now?!”

“Won't you let me in?”

“There's no need for that”

“Bohoo.. You're poor husband will be out in the cold” He said teasingly.

“N-Nonsense! W-Were not married yet! ”

“Yet” He was looking at me like he won and already heard the things he want.

He's not indifferent and cold at all!! He's a jerk!!

He purposely said those to make me blush!!

But.. He's handsome when He's smiling.. Ugh!!

I just let him in and went to my room and change my clothes. When i went downstairs, I saw him seating on the couch like he's at home. He was browsing through the Albums that he got from the shelf. I sat beside him and joined. We didn't notice it but we slowly got a little closer, we laughed and talked about our childhood. As time pass by, we ended up browsing all the photo albums from the shelf.

He offered to out it back since he's the one that took them out. Looking at his back, It's a beautiful sight. His face being kissed by small ray of sun from the window, It's Aesthetic. I guess he's not really that bad.

We ended up staying home and having the planner go to my house instead.

We talked about the style of the wedding, the gown, the guests, the reception area.

Everything was decided by him, because we have the same taste. All i did was to choose the styles and how will the event go.

We talked quite for quite a long time. Not long after the wedding planner left, Mom and Dad came back from the office and they Talked with Calix. He easily gained my parents trust and they are so fond of him. Maybe he has some powers to get people to like him? just kiddings.

After some bondings with Calix, we all ate dinner and Calix have to go home. I see him off to waved goodbye, But he came to me and hugged me real tight and gave me a peck on my forehead. I stood there dumbfounded and he already left.

He's really different from the time i met him and from the rumors. I wonder what's going on.. But this is unfair.. He's the one who made the Contract, and it clearly states that..

"Do not Fall in love with each other"

This is foul play, Calix. I hope you're not into something. Making this marriage contract but you're the one whose making me fall in love to you.

Chapter 2 [ End ]

Calix's POV:

I spent my whole day in that girl's house. Even though we already signed the contract, and I felt that she is extremely hesitant yesterday, I didn't expect for her to be so open. Her family is peaceful and she is not like those other girls. She is extremely normal, unlike those girls who cling onto me just to get my money. Even though we are going to get married, she doesn't publicly expose are engagement yet, like a snake hiding in her base and come out in the most perfect time.

I got a call from my secretary and I immediately went to the office. When I arrived, what open up to me was her seating on my chair in a very inexplicable face.

I went near her and asked "Did something happened?" she looked up at me with a plain look and said "Nothing.. I  just missed you" I was full of emotions after hearing those words. "What are you saying? It seems that you haven't read the contract carefully" I said with a cold look.

She laid her head on the table and said "I'm so bored, let's go hang out" I don't know if she's planning something but I merely said "I'm a busy person, I can't accompany you", she raised her head with a smile and replied "I saw your schedule, There's no point lying to me now" I looked at my secretary fiercely and she just avoided my gaze. "Fine, your call" I sighed and gave up. "Great!" she said happily and pulled me on the elevator.

While we're inside, she just kept on humming and smiling ears to ears. I really can't understand her, she was just upset a while ago.

When we arrive at the ground floor, I called my chauffer and we head straight to the Amusement park, as she wanted. We are lucky that there are only few people.

"Wow! Luckily, there's not much people!" she said swaying around and exploring the park. I just followed her to make sure she won't get lost. "How troublesome, Stop acting like a child" I said to her. She just looked at me and continued what she's doing. I'm being ignored here, why did she even invite me, tsk.

Charlotte's POV:

We arrived at the Amusement Park and I looked around so I wouldn't get suspicious . He just followed me and agreed to what I said. I still couldn't figure out if he's having an ulterior motive for marrying me. Maybe he was really just listening to his parents. Geez, I should just give up. Since we're here, let me just enjoy this. I walked up to him and pulled him and we got in the roller coaster.

"Hey.." He said nervously. I chuckled and said "What? scared?". He glared at me and said "Who's scared of what. Let's see, I won't help you when you pass out", "Hmph, Big talk".

The sound of the engine slowly starting, we can see clearly how high and twisted the rails are since we're in the front seat. I looked up to him and I can't stop from giggling. He was nervous to the point that his hands starts trembling.

Not soon enough the ride starts and I just kept on screaming joyfully, while he on the other hand is just holding tight on the metal belt and pretending to be brave. I held his hand and raised it up. He yelled at me and told me to let his hands go. He was so cute, Who would thought that the rumored cold-blooded Calix Wilson is afraid of roller coaster.

The ride ended and we had to go home immediately... Because he passed out. "Now, who's afraid of what? HAHA"

We sent him to his villa and of course, I also went with them since I'm the one responsible for it.

We arrived at the his villa and I put him on his bed. I started to wander around his house and entered his study room. As I browse through the books on the shelf, I pulled a book entitled "Graduation Book". I started to look into it and a piece of photo slipped. I picked it up and saw him in his graduation toga.. with a girl.

He was smiling, yes, a pure smile. I wonder who this girl is. She's so lucky that she manage to make this cold-blooded guy smile like this.

"How envious.." I said.

"Insolence" I looked up at the person behind and saw Calix with an angry expression. He stole the photo from my hand and stated, "The contract stated that we are not allowed to interfere in each other's private life" "From what you're doing right now, you are breaching the contract." he looked at me with a very cold  expression.

"I-I'm sorry.." I slowly stood up and apologized. "Get out, know your place as a contract wife" I bowed my head so that he wont see my face, and slowly went out of his house. I called my driver to pick me up.

"Right, I'm just a contract wife, don't let it get to you Charlotte.."
