The city at night is as bright as the stars in the sky, but I wonder why this power’s been bestowed upon me, like this sight.

Now let the story begin…..

Once upon a time, a young girl who goes by the name Alia gained the power to teleport to another world, The Animal Realm. It was a day like no other for Alia, she was a manga artist who was popular but her identity was secret. That night she had a dream of the silver ring with red gemstones she would always wear. She found herself in another world, a world where there were humans with animal features.

Night had hid itself and the sun was rising, Alia who just had a dream woke up but not in her bed. She was laying outside in some kind of forest.

“Wait, where am I? I was sure I was in my bed last night but now I’m in a forest?” Alia who was fair skinned, had green eyes and was of average build, she had long dark red hair which reached her knees with long nails, but had dark circles under her eyes. She had stayed up late finishing a script and was still wearing the same clothes as yesterday. She was wearing black ripped jeans with a white tank top along with black socks and slippers.

“This...I remember! It must have been that dream last night. So it is true that I’ve teleported to The Animal Realm!” I noticed something moving in the back and to my surprise I had a black ears and a tail. “If I remember correctly it was my ring that teleported me here.” I quickly looked at my hands and the ring wasn’t there. “Where could it be?” I asked myself.

As I was trying to remember I heard a noise coming from behind a tree. It was a big forest, trees and bushes were everywhere. I turned around and asked “Who’s there? Show yourselves!” As I waited a tall black figure came out from behind the tree. As it walked closer I could see it was a male with tanned skin, he was tall and big with strong muscles. He had long silky navy blue hair that matched his ocean colored eyes. He had a sharp and defined jaw with lips that were pink with razor sharp teeth. But most importantly he was a wolf, he had big ears on his head with a long bushy tail the same color as his hair.

I was astonished, how could someone be so handsome. He was the man of my dreams. I could use him as a model for my manga, If I make him the male lead in a romance novel it’d sure be a hit among the young females. Oh I’m such a genius! While I was lost in thought I noticed something in his hand, it was my ring. It must have fallen somewhere behind a tree. He later proceeded to tell me,

“I am here for you. You are the chosen to become my wife, Princesszehn.”

Note: Princesszehn is pronounced same as Princess and zen

This story takes place in a country named Yinxu, Alia is now in Kora City, the capital of Yinxu Kingdom. Among the various cities are tribes, each tribe depending on species has a Chief who is the most strongest and powerful. These Chiefs are second to the King, thus are highly respected amongst the animas and can also compete for the throne.

“I am here for you. You are the chosen one to become my wife, Princesszehn.”

He had a serious look on his face when he said that. I was surprised and confused at the same time but I was still thinking of how handsome he was. Finally, I got myself together and said, “What do you mean by that? Are you crazy?”

“It is exactly what you heard. You are fated to become my wife and I your husband.” He said with a stern face.

“Me, your wife? But I don’t even know you or your name.” I looked down in his hand and remembered he had my ring. If I could get it I would be able to get out of here and teleport back to my world. “Give me back my ring. That belongs to me!” I shouted.

He looked down on the ring in his hand and with a playful smirk he said, “If you want this ring you’ll have to follow me to talk.”

I wasn’t just going to follow him, it was an obvious trap. Who knows what he might do, he might end up kidnapping me or maybe beat me up. You can’t always trust a pretty face, if the city taught me one thing is to never trust anybody so easily. But I have to get my ring to go back to my world.

“Fine then, I’ll follow you. But at least tell me your name. My name is Alia.” I say confidently.

“Ah, a beautiful name fit for a Princesszehn. Pardon me for not introducing myself Miss Alia, my name is Hiroka Lobus. I’m the Chief of the Wolf Tribe.” He looked at me with a gentle smile.

A Chief, so he’s the leader of the Wolf Tribe. But what does he want with me and why does he keep calling me Princesszehn. Is it a Princess, but I’m not a Princess. This guys got a loose screw somewhere, what a pity that he’s got a handsome face and body.

“So where are we going Mr. Hiroka.” I started walking towards him. He also turned around to lead the way.

“We’re going to head back to the Wolf Tribe where I will explain everything.” He said.

To the Wolf Tribe, but if I go there I’ll have no way of escaping. What should I do I need to think of a plan quickly. Suddenly I tripped on tree root and next thing I know, I’m on the ground flat on my face. “Owww my precious face.” I said while I was trying to get up.

“Are you okay.” Hiroka, who was in front of me, was by my side offering me his hand so that I could get up. As I was trying to get up a sharp pain coursed through my leg and I fell back down in my knees. It was my ankle, it got injured when I tripped. “I think I injured my ankle.”

Hiroka looked at me and then turned his head the other way. He then squatted and reached out for me with both of his arms he carried me. He carried me like a princess, I was embarrassed and could feel my face getting red. I lowered my gaze, my heart was beating fast.

Then I thought that this would be the perfect moment to get my ring back. I saw him put the ring in a little pocket in his chest. I reached out and placed my hand in his chest, he looked down at me and I think I saw him blush a little that he quickly faced forward again.

A few moments later I successfully managed to retrieve my ring without him noticing. As he was walking I could see a bunch of houses, that must be the Wolf Tribe. I was still being embraced in his huge arms, but I had to go.

“It was nice meeting you, Hiroka.” I said. He looked at me with a confused face as I proceeded to put on the ring.

“Wait, how’d you get that?”

In a blink of an eye, I was radiating white light.

“What’s happening? What is this?” I heard him say in a panicked tone. And then I disappeared.

Note: The name Hiroka means lord; genius; intellectual and brilliant. The scientific name of a wolf is canis lupus and that’s why I used Lobus which in spanish, wolf is lobo. I merged them together.

Also animas are the animal-human people, that’s what they’re called.

Having to go through pain is the only thing that keeps me sane, while having someone who goes away, makes my heart break.

The Wolf Tribe is located in the west of Kora City, the Wolf Tribe is the second most powerful tribe in the kingdom after the Lion Tribe. The Lion Tribe Chief also happens to be the kingdoms ruler but not all animas like the King because he is arrogant, selfish, and ambitious. Hiroka as the second most powerful tribe Chief is looked up by the animas. He is fierce, ferocious, ruthless, strong, and passionate, unlike the king, the animas think that he would be much more fit to rule the kingdom.

My name is Hiroka Lobus. I come from a very long line of wolfs. After my great-great-great grandpa took down the corrupted Wolf Chief Ciar, the Lobus family has been in power. After my parents were murdered when I was 18, my grandfather made me the Chief Wolf.

I am now 20 and have been making this tribe powerful, my sister who is 2 years younger than me, 18, has been supporting me. Since I became a Chief at a young age I haven’t had the time to look for a partner. A year ago, before my grandfather passed away he found a scroll saying that the 10th generation's first newborn of the Lobus family was cursed to never marry.

The 10th generation first newborn happened to be me but I didn’t believe it. When I turned 20 I found a partner to marry but as we were exchanging the wine, I fainted. I woke up 3 hours later feeling sick, it must have been the curse. After that I sought out to look for a sage, he said that I could marry someone but it wouldn’t be of the Wolf Tribe.

The old toad sage said, “You will find someone with eyes that resemble those of an emerald, she will have hair the color of crimson blood and have skin as fair and white as the snow. She will also be a Princesszehn of the feline race.”

With that I was searching for someone to match that description but I’ve never heard of or saw someone with red hair and green eyes which were rare. On top of that she had fair skin color which not many animas have. One morning, 4 months later after I saw the old sage I woke up early to take a stroll and saw a white light ahead of me.

I ran to the direction of the light and found a ring, I picked it up because it looked strange but then I saw someone lying on the ground. It was a female, I was astonished, she had red hair like crimson blood and was white like the snow. She was waking up and when she opened her eyes, they were green like emeralds and she happened to be of the cat species.

She was the most beautiful female I have ever seen, no one had features like hers, it was exactly as the old sage told me. My partner would have red hair, green eyes, skin like snow and of the feline race. My heart was pounding and I could feel my face blushing, is this what love feels like, I’ve never felt this way before.

I’ve never seen anyone from the Cat Tribe, they prefer to keep to themselves and not interact with other species. The old sage did mention that she was a Princesszehn so her family must have kept her safe and well. But, what is she doing sleeping out here?

I accidentally stepped on a branch and she heard me. “Who's there?” She asked.

Then I said, “I’m here for you. You are the chosen one to become my partner, Princesszehn.

Note: Princesszehn means the daughter of a Chief Tribe.
