Chapter 1

“Maria!” her father yelled. “What are you doing?” “You should be visiting the minister of defense and get him to change his mind about letting his daughter become my consort.” Maria already knew what her father meant by “visiting”, it meant using her body even though she was the youngest daughter of the emperor of Libaher. Her father was obsessed with power and would even stoop to make his kids use their bodies to get whatever he desired. His ways of getting it are low and disgusting. Her older sister on the other hand is quite beautiful but if only it was her natural beauty. She uses her “artificial beauty” to help her father achieve power as she would also acquire enough jewels for her to spend on outfits. Maria hated her father’s and sister’s low acts. She was disgusted by her father because even though he had all that power, he would still force his daughters to act like sluts and was even more disgusted by her sister because she enjoyed being a slut and enjoys being in a person's bed doing unholy things to benefit her father’s desires of power and ego. Maria was different she is known as “The Prince” because of her athletic nature and was recognized as the first female in their kingdom to have such outstanding archery skills, swordsmanship, and also has a black belt in kung fu. Many people in the kingdom and palace have praised her for her kind actions. Even though she sees many faces daily, she still feels lonely as she is different from her only relatives. They are monsters to her and since her mother passed away she has always felt like a lonely soul waiting to be loved by someone.

Chapter 2

Maria stared blankly at her father who was yelling at her. Her father then said to a maid “You get her a dress suitable to wear and get active in bed.” The maid slowly walked back and bowed avoiding Maria's eyes. Her father suddenly pulled at her hair making her scream in pain and dragged her to her room. He said “When the maid gets here with the dress you better get dressed and be ready by the time I come back. “Her father slammed the door closed and locked it using his key. Now Maria was left alone in her room feeling helpless. Even though she had the strength to kill her father, she fought with the thought of what would people think of her, daughter of an emperor kills her own father just to become a ruler. Then she would be beheaded and her sister becomes ruler. Just the thought of that made her fume with anger. Suddenly “Knock Knock” the maid opened the door and laid the clothes for her to wear on her bed. Even though they didn’t exchange many words the maid’s eyes showed pity in them as she bowed and left the room. Maria held the dress staring at it and thinking “Damn, how did I reach here?” She silently slipped off her clothes and stared at her birthmark which covered the left half of her body from her left leg to her left arm. She always wondered why her birthmark was different as it actually looked like a design painted with white paint, making her body a canvas. She then took the dress and started to zip it up. Then suddenly “Slam!”

Chapter 3

Then suddenly “Slam.” As Maria turned around to see where the noise was coming from “Slap!" She slowly turned her head to see her sister, Angela staring at her with an annoyed look. Maria put her hand on her red cheek but her sister immediately grabbed her hand and screamed “You wh*re, you hate these kinds of things but here you are getting dressed to go seduce a minister so that daddy can have the minister’s daughter in his bed.” Maria stared at her sister with disgust and then said “Yeah, I am a wh*re so what are you going to do about it, kill me (scoffs). I would like to see you try princess. It seems daddy really hasn’t been giving you enough work to do. Are you really craving a man’s touch that badly princess?” Angela was shocked by her sister’s rant but tried not to show it, however, her eyes deceived her. Maria scoffed and suddenly launched, pinning her sister to the wall and shouted “Princess even though I might not be the prettiest sister I sure am the strongest and one day I will kill both you and your father with my hands, you’ve been warned. We surely don’t want to see that face made of plastic full of scars. It will be quite pricey to re do your face, princess.” Maria smirked as she walked out of the room taking a glance at her sister who was terrified and shaking while touching her face.

Chapter 4

Maria left the room deep in thought. She knew that the minister of defense had already known what her father does to her and her sister but would he still agree to let her daughter marry that monster. Maria slowly walked down the halls deep in thought not noticing all the rush through the halls finally reaching the throne room. As she entered she saw the ministers looking very tense. She carefully examined the room from the door position and then cautiously entered the room. “Princess Maria!” everyone except the emperor exclaimed and bowed. Maria walked towards her father who was sitting on the throne, bowed then asked “Father, what is all this commotion about?”. Her father dared not look her in the eyes which made Maria slightly curious. Suddenly a maid put her arm out indicating her to stand on the left side of her father's throne. She let out a soft sigh and walked towards her father ,finally standing in her position. The room was filled with mumbles and the tense atmosphere would make anyone feel uncomfortable. Suddenly “Princess Angela!” one minister exclaimed. The other ministers acted as if she wasn’t there choosing not to greet her and didn't bow either as was done for Princess Maria. Most ministers don’t favor Princess Angela because she causes quite a lot of trouble for the kingdom earning the nickname, “The Troublesome Princess" which suits her quite well. Princess Angela walked confidently moving her hip side to side causing some of the ministers disgust while some were filled with lust. She greeted her father with a smile and bowed to him trying to perk her butt out. Some of the ministers turned their head while some actually had a nosebleed. She smirked and asked shyly as she twirled her hair “Father, what is happening here, as I was walking down the halls it was quite busy and I was pushed down by some lowly maids” .. Maria stared at her thinking of what a good actress she was. Angela looked up to see her father’s reaction but it made her tremble in fear.

Chapter 5

Angela looked up to see her father’s reaction, as she trembled in fear while Maria was staring at her with a smirk on her face. Angela slowly walked back, still shaking in fear and mumbling to herself ,then suddenly she tripped. The ministers tried coming close to help her up but she screamed at them making the ministers upset and they slowly walked back. Maria stood at her position looking at everything that was happening. She glanced at her father who was burning in anger but his eyes were flickering in fear. She smirked at the sight of all this chaos but the noise was too much for her to bear. Suddenly she said “Please be quiet! It is quite chaotic in here and if anyone from another kingdom was to see what’s happening here, it would put us in a really difficult situation don’t you think?” The ministers bowed and apologized for their impudence. Maria sighed and said “Well it has been quite a circus so can someone please answer the question I had!” The ministers looked at each other and then said “Your highness, your father has been king for too long and it is time for a new ruler. It has been tradition to vote in Chinal where other rulers will attend but your father is quite hesitant to give up the throne.” Maria sighed then spoke “Since father is quite hesitant to give up the throne let me inform you of the rules father. It is written in the law that the election of the next ruler must be held even if the king doesn’t wish to give up the throne. Should he or she refuse to comply, he or she will loose their status as did the previous emperor and will have the status of a commoner, is that correct ministers?” The ministers were amazed by Maria’s knowledge of the law and responded “Yes, you are correct your highness.” “So we should get ready to travel. It’s going to be a long trip , I hope father will understand what is happening and would put  his greediness aside and do what is right for the kingdom.” Maria stated. The ministers responded “Yes, your highness we will get all the preparations ready. Thank you Your Highness for helping us solve this problem.” “You’re welcome ministers and what I did was nothing, I just stated the facts but thank you for your kind words.” Maria walked away from her position and bowed in front of her father saying “Father I take my leave.” She left the room taking one last glance at her father who was shocked and terrified and her sister who was being comforted by the maids.

Chapter 6

Days passed by and the palace was a mess. Everyone was running around making last minute preparations so the trip to Chinal can be set out. Maria was in front of her verandah staring at the chaos that was happening when she heard a loud shriek. The noise was too much for her to handle causing Maria to fall unconscious on the floor. Moments after Maria got up hesitantly and examined her environment. As she stood up she was faced with a large steel gate, guarded by two guards on each side of the gate. She felt her feet on soft cotton balls and was shocked to see that she was standing on clouds .Then suddenly “Creak!” the gigantic gate was opened and the guards vanished. She walked pass the gate to see nothing in sight. Then suddenly an angel appeared and covered her eyes, even though she found this weird her body felt calm and her mind was at ease as she thought to herself “Most people would freak out if they saw an angel”. After some time the angel uncovered her eyes and she was standing in front of a mirror in a dark place. The angel unexpectedly started doing a dance in front of her which made her quite surprised then she saw herself standing ***** in front the mirror and her birthmark glowed. It grew more and more and was covering her body except her face. It grew from her neck to her foot and was giving off a light yellow glow. Maria looked back to see if the angel was still there but saw a man instead. As she stared at the man she started having an intense headache which made her dropped to her knees on the floor. She then asked “Who the hell are you?” the man looked at her and replied “I am your brother, you are the light and I am the darkness, I am the devil and you are the angel, I was forced to be like this while you were born like that but I must say even though you are an angel you surely don’t act like one.” Maria was confused by what he was saying angel, devil, what the hell was happening. Maria was lost in thoughts when the man coughed to get her attention. He handed her a book and said “When it’s the right time you will find out everything you wish to know inside this book and we will meet again, soon sister.” He slowly disappear which made Maria sad for some reason. Maria started feeling dizzy and was soon unconscious again.
