Failure, the very word that described my very existence. A word that never left me since young and the word that is expected of me as I die. A word that will someday climb to success........

Is what I thought but as I was overthinking over the window of my classroom,wondering how to end this silly life of unending, non-typical, non-exciting and boring life of mine, I thought to myself "Why can't I have success over everything I do?" but that's a question I should answer with my actions and not my mind since everything I do becomes a failure in the end anyway.

*Sigh* A deep sigh becomes a part of the classroom as a I continued to stare at the window.

•Hey there Jared, want to hang out with us later and try to make success over the failure you are?•

*Classmates Laughing*

•Haha very funny you guys!! Dont you guys have anything better to do rather than make fun of Jared every single day?•

Said One of my classmates Ella as I look onto her with admiring eyes that kinda want to cry.

•Well, rather than us making fun of him, would you want us to make him cry then M.I.S.S E.L.L.A?!•

With the Whole bully squad backing him up as if to say that they could just do whatever they want with me is Gerald, a guy that was born with everything you could think of in this world, money , looks, girls, talent, brain etc. Name it and he's got it all.

•Why are you acting very sarcastic? Just because Jared can't compare to your status in life doesn't mean you have the right to trample all over him every single day!!•

I was kinda feeling sorry for myself already ella, please just don't rub more salt into my wounds, it hurts really so stop it please. As I look to the side with a look for pity to myself covering my mouth with a very disappointed-at-myself look behind. At the very least though is she's at least covering for me, even though we've known each other since elementary school, this girl sure is very kind and nice, not to mention is very gorgeous. She's the second most talented person in our class second only to of course the guy who's bullying me right now, Gerald. And she's been second best only ever since we've started high school. So I guess she's not really defending me here but just wants to vent her anger towards Gerald for showing up and taking the spotlight away from her. Well, it does not concern me anyway, I mean, I just wanted to live a peaceful life and not meddle with the likes of High Spirited souls around me, so please leave already you guys, I'm begging you!

•Uhhm... G-Guys, Class is about to start soo...•

As they both look into me with such a dangerous look, I nearly wet myself. The tension between this two is not very good at all. I must do everything I can to not get caught in any of their arguments from now on, as a sudden chill hit my back, I quickly turned around and what I saw was my bestfriend Gella staring daggers at me. I quickly grabbed her hand with a look so pathetic that even gradeschoolers would make fun of me, and apologized for my weakness.

•I'm sorry gella, please don't be mad•

But she just continued on looking at me and suddenly sighed out of pity. She is my childhood friend and a neighbor of mine, a mature, composed, a very kind-hearted girl indeed. But the one thing that scares me the most is that when she gets mad, her eyes suddenly becomes that of a Lion wanting to eat its prey. Man she's scary.

•You never learn do you, Jared? I mean you get this kind of treatment everytime so why won't you fight back? You've got the skills and all, why would you want to continue to suffer the humiliation of being just a failure?•

I looked at her and gave her a smile, and then I turned around facing the teacher as I thought "Seriously Gella, you know me all to well". I wouldn't want to use my talents just to stand out, I don't want for everybody to know, because if I show this to people, I may never be the same. As I look back in my past, those never ending nightmares that still haunts me today. I don't... No, I never want to be something like that. I just want to continue on living this way, to not bother anyone, to be alone and never be betrayed.

•*Sigh* Jared, if you don't want to, I am here you know? I will always be here for you, okay?•

I looked back, I looked at her with a very sorry look and said thank you. So, the class went on as I continued to stare at the window.

After the classes have ended I went to check on Gella who's part of the Taekwondo Club to ask for her notes as it's gonna be the Final Exam tomorrow. I need not to review but you know, my Mom is scary, she absolutely hates it when i'm not reviewing, so I always borrow notes from Gella just to show that I am at least studying. As I walk past the hallway, I saw Gella behind one of the classrooms, and as I walk towards her, I saw a lot of boys surrounding her, so I immediately run towards her to see what is going on. But as I was getting closer, I saw a boy threw a punch at her and another one kicked her on the stomach. As I glared at them not knowing what Gella did, I bursted out of anger and threw my bag at one of them.

•WHHHHAAAAAAAT THEEEEE HEEEELLLL AREEEE YOOOUUUU DOOOIIIINNGGGG!•

As I shouted very loud as if to say I will punish them for the cowards they are for ganging up with Gella like that. As I threw my bag, I clenched my fist really hard and looked at them, I counted them and there are 6 people present except me and Gella, I run towards the guy who's holding Gella and threw a jump kick right at him, I quickly caught her and looked at her face, the look she gave me was that of a mother looking at his son very happy, and smiled at me and then fainted.

As I was holding her, I gently put her down and stood up, I looked at the guys who ganged up on her and asked:

•Who set this up?•

Those were the only words that i said out of anger, I want to punish whoever did this to her and then...

Gella's POV

As I walk into the classroom, I saw yet again, a familiar scene inside the classroom, where the strong prey's on the weak. Where my best friend is the weak and everyone is just bullying him, my blood boiled and I was about to lose my temper when suddenly the teacher walked in. I glared at Jared, my best friend whom for as far as I know decided to live a weak pathetic life for the sake of hiding, I don't really know what he's thinking behaving like that but I know it's just a facade of his to hide what happened back then. To move forward is it? Or to run away? It doesn't really annoy me that much, but me on the recieving end of seeing my only best friend being bullied even when I know the truth behind all of this is just so infuriating. I talked to him about it a million times, but here he is, repeating the failure cycle,over and over again. Why did it have to be like this? As I sat down, I glared daggers behind his back, and he immediately turned around and took my hand and apologized, as if I was some kind of a demon in front of him. I talked to him about fighting back again just to unfree him from his shackles but it was no good. He turned around, and sighed deeply. I looked at him, waiting for his answer, but all I got was a smile. I never did understood why , Jared, my best friend was willing to suffer to this extent for the sake of him protecting his identity. I know, he has been hurting since that day, the day that made him be like that. If it wasn't for what happened back then, he might not be like this.

And so the classes went on, and after the classes had ended, I quickly grab my bag and started going to the Taekwondo club, which I am a member and a Vice-Captain. As I was walking towards the club, I heard a group of 6 guys talking about Jared and to target him when he gets off the school premises. As I heard about their plan, I quickly ran towards the person, who was laughing really hard and smashed my bag on his back, I grabbed his hair, holding it real tight, I looked at the person who was just laughing and I asked:

•What the F*** are you gonna do with Jared?•

With a very angry look upon my face, I was about to kick the guy I'm holding, but someone just punch me in the face, and I immediately got dizzy. Someone grabbed my hair and stood me up, I tried to regain my composure but when I looked up, I was punched right in my jaw, and I felt a kick on my stomach, it was so strong I threw up. With my consciousness fading away, I heard someone shouting, and the next thing I knew I was held by Jared, I desperately hold onto my fading consciousness, and pulled up a big smile at him.

When I woke up, I was at a near hospital, and my mom was crying beside me, I looked left and right trying to find Jared but he wasn't there. A chill run down my spine and immediately shouted to my mom:

•Where is Jared mom? Where is he? Please look for him, Look for him for me, please, He will be....

As I asked the guys who made Gella faint, they just laughed at me, as if they just found their next target, my anger is at max by now and I am nearing the limit of my patience, but I regained myself and pushed myself to calm down a little, I asked them again who is the one who set up Gella.

•What the f*** are you talking about you peasant? We didn't set up your f*** girlfriend over there, she suddenly attacked us•

*Students laughing* As I heard their answer, I calmed myself down, carried Gella and was about to go to the hospital without saying anything and putting an end to this fight, somebody pulled my hand and suddenly I saw that there was a fist coming straight to my face, in that blink of a second, I thought about what will I do? But as soon as I thought to myself, I felt the punch that hit my face, just below my left eye, I was knocked down. As I fell down, I completely forgot that I was holding Gella at the time I was knocked down, I immediately looked at her condition and as I did, an immediate warning was sent to me, A warning that only Gella and I know, A warning that says :

•Warning: You've felt hostility, and an immediate response is needed, NOVUS pioneer Jared, eliminate all the hostility towards you•

•Number of total eliminations:0

Number to be eliminated:6•

And so began another nightmare..

As soon as I saw those notification, I was immediately reminded of what I feared the most, of what I've been trying to hide and what i've been running away from. This is the thing that i'm most afraid of as it doesn't really care about anything, it needs me to do everything that it says, whether its good or bad, I don't know, all I know is the fact that I am the only one with this kind of ability. What will I do?!

16 years ago, in a world where people prosper and live with harmony, a world where everything is decided not by its Kings and Queens, but by the will of the World: NOVUS. The name that was given to the world by people as offering for the One who created it.

It was exactly 16 years ago, that the will of NOVUS made everything in that world crumble, a prophecy was given to its people, that a great Darkness will completely engulf the entirety of the world. The world will be thrown into chaos, each and everything will be devoured by the great evil that will appear. An entity that will be described as DeOrc.

Thus, a Holy meeting was to be established to have a countermeasure for the great Prophecy. As to be attended by the Five great Kingdoms/Continents. The Kingdom of Fire, Naquias, The Kingdom of Water, Ostrion, The kingdom of Earth, Veliudar, The Kingdom of Wind, Ulsiverio and The Kingdom of Lightning, Sulietros. Each to be attended by its own Kings and Queens. In the middle of this Kingdoms lies the Island of Grendes, The Holy Island, which is believed to be the Cornerstone of NOVUS, believed to be the home of the creator, lies a Great hall, that was built by the inhabitants as to be an offering as the home of their creator. The great hall will serve to be the location on which the meeting will be held. It will be held in three days. And will soon be called The Great Fall.

In the Kingdom of fire, Naquias, the most prosperous Kingdom of all the five, The kingdom where each people was treated with equality and the people of the land was considered to be the kindest amongst the Kingdoms,lies a person with jet black hair, a beard that described his manliness, a built of a dignified being, and a posture, that of a gentleman, It was the King of the Kingdom, Al Siecas. Guided with his trusty Familiar, covered with magnificent armour and a cape, with long blue hair, that shared the same manliness as his king, with a young look and very handsome face, a man that handles his sword with dignity, Al Lendir, The right hand of the King. Together, they are walking towards the room of the Queen to visit his newborn child, namely Al Ciel. As they arrive at the room, Lendir opened the door slightly, bowing to his King, and the King entered the room, He looked at the room and found that his Queen, with long silky bluish white hair, a beauty comparable to the Gods, with a slim body that of a model, carrying their son near the window, Fon Aleria. He looked at her with a smile, and walk towards her beloved Queen and Son, both hugging them tight as though the world would end. Aleria looked at her Husband, the king, with a very lovely look that can only be described as Godly, she asked:

•Is there something that worries you, my dear?•

Siecas looked at Aleria with a smile and replied

•Its nothing, Its just that...uh.. You know, I'll miss you, I'll be attending the meeting for the counter measure about the prophecy in Grendes. And I don't think it will be short, so I came here to say that, and apologize if i'll be gone for a while•

As Siecas said that, Aleria smiled at him, feeling so carefree

•You don't have anything to worry about, dear. When you comeback, we will surely have a way to stop the Prophecy and still be happy, there is also my Familiar, Fon Lisca to be of help to me while you're gone. So just relax, and have your mind focus on what you should be doing, always remember that, no matter where you are, when you come home, I'll still be here•

•You make my worries go away, dear. Then, I'll be going now•

As Siecas said those words, Lendir quickly came to his side and said

•My King, preparations are complete, we are set to go, awaiting your orders•

•We'll head out•

Is Siecas's reply to Lendir. Then the two of them head out to Grendes, not knowing what's ahead of them, they both ride their wyverns and set off.

As they arrive in Grendes, they were greeted with the King of the Earth Kingdom, Faz Diermo, with a look that of a middle aged man, with brown hair, and wearing a full set of Royal armour and carrying his trusty Earthen Gauntlets. His body that of a very muscular man. Siecas greeted back and Lendir also greeted, Lendir looked at Diermo's familiar who's just about as tall as he is, with a very masculine look and very neat appearance that of a dignified man, wearing the same armour as his king and also the same weapon was Faz Gazeros, he greeted him and Gazeros nodded back. As the only two kingdom representatives present, they decided to enter the great hall and wait for the others to come.

A few minutes after they entered the great hall, all three of the remaining kingdoms arrived. To the kingdom of water, Queen Fey Esfiel, a beautiful maiden with short pinkish hair, with a complexion so white like snow and pink eyes with a slim yet sexy build, is together with her familiar Fey Zaigon, a gentle looking elf with long ears, golden hair, bluish eyes, and a man with regular build(not too muscular,not too thin). To the kingdom of Wind , Queen Rel Zecka, a woman so mean looking yet still beautiful as the sky itself, long silver hair, with pale skin, yellowish eyes, and slim build for a woman of her age, along with her is a woman who came from the fairy clan, with black and white eyes, black and white hair and a wing that of black and white, and fully equipped with silk armour is Rel Grenda. And lastly, to the Kingdom of lightning King Ul Zudra, a tall man with a build that of an experienced warrior, with a scar on his eyes, jet black hair, and red crimson eyes, wearing his full set of armour holding his great spear of lightning, came with his familiar Ul Gezadra, a half demon and half elf woman with long red hair and a beauty comparable to none, with a pale skin , busty and slim , red eyes that give a look of temptation. With the arrival of the three Kingdoms, the meeting which will decide the fate of NOVUS commenced.

After they have seated to the round table, everyone stood-up and paid their respect to the Creators Great Hall, for letting them use it, And for thanking a long prosperous life they have until now. After they paid their respects, all have returned to their seated form. After a short time of pause, the King of fire kingdom , Al Siecas looked at everybody, and mentioned today's agenda, and of course ask all the kings and queens for their cooperation on the meeting. Thus, formally starting the Great Fall.

After a short discussion on the agenda, the kings and queens immediately voiced out their own opinions about the matter. The first to voice his side of the issue is King Ul Zudra

•Well as we look on this matter, doesn't it sound suspicious? There hasn't been any prophecy this bad, and also this is the first time i've heard that there will be great darkness engulfing the world, to me it is just impossible!•

As per mentioned by the king, this is indeed the first time a prophecy like this was given by the world. Such a thing didn't exist in the past, so why now?

As the kings and queens looked around puzzled about the situation, Queen Rel Zecka, shared her thoughts

•Well, Prophet Cardosa never once lied to us about anything, thus, we can say that this "Great Darkness" is sure to come in the near future•

Being the Queen, she is always so secretive, always playing behind the shadows, no one really knows of what her intentions are, but as she said it with a gentle look with a quite smile on her face, she looked around her fellow kings and queens to see if anyone would react.

•But, the real issue is what, what is the "Great darkness" that is mentioned in the prophecy and why would it happen?•

As magnificent and dignified he is, he voiced out his opinion on the matter with a very brave look, he is the king of earth kingdom Faz Diermo, who seems to be very calm regarding the situation, not showing his worried look. He is indeed a very dignified King. Some might say that he is the very incarnation of the word itself. He is a very brave man who helped protect this lands for decades and a very honest man to his core.

•Only the creators would lead the answer to that, and everyone on this room is aware of that, as of now, all we can do, is to plan for countermeasure for the calamity ahead of us! This must be a challenge for all of us to face, to move forward and to stand strong!•

With a voice so eerie and sarcastic, one is to say that the opinion is very sarcastic and is just pretending to care on the issue, she is the Queen of Water kingdom, Fey Esfiel, a woman with a self-satisfied look on her face, and a very suspicious aura around her, she is indeed right but who would believe such words coming from her, when she always does things her way and not caring about the consequences. Kings and Queens present all know about her character but they just can't do anything about it.

A deep sigh of frustration came out of Al Siecas mouth as if to say, they're not getting anywhere about the issue, but decided to communicate with his trusty familiar through "thought communication"

•Lendir, is there anyone present with ill intent?•

As soon as he asked his familiar, lendir looked at everyone and started to analyze everybody using Perception magic, and what he realized was mind-boggling.

•My king, i've checked them, Zudra, Esfiel, and Zecka seems to be cautious but no ill-intent is coming from them, though Deirmo, may have noticed my magic , he is blocking my perception with his magic•

As Al Siecas heard what Lendir said, his eyes narrowed down to a slit and looked upon all of them, Siecas being the strongest of everyone present here, have a very sharp perception and can read through everyone's heart. And he is able to analyze everything from it, he is the King that loves his people and unforgiving to those of his enemies. He is feared as the walking tyrant of fire and the strongest. When he looked around everybody, with a very fierce look on his eyes, he immediately realized about the darkness of the prophecy and looked at Lendir, and through thought communication he said

•Oh, Lendir, my dearest friend and my trusted familiar, I want you to directly say this to your queen, "I love her with all the love I can give, and loved our son just us much"•

Lendir not knowing what his king has seen, immediately sent a the connection to Fon Lisca, the Queen's Familiar, as soon as he did, he looked at his king with a smile

•My king, your wishes has already reached her highness, now please bestow this lowly familiar his guidance•

Al siecas smiled and stood up, looked at lendir, pat his shoulders

•They are all enemies, we will eliminate them now, to prevent the great prophecy•

Upon saying that, he applied his Unique Skill "Domain Control"

And all beings present were then considered, target for elimination.

King Al Siecas never doubted his Perception ability ever since he got it and never did the skill betrayed him either. There was no doubt everyone present at the great hall holds secrets they don't want to share, as a matter of fact, he even saw the carefulness of the three people that came after them. Thus, he assumed that the three of them are conspiring the same plot, and without saying any word, he looked at the man most suspicious of them all, its non-other than Faz Diermo, the King of Earth Kingdom, who's definitely plotting something. According to his perception skill, Diermo is without a doubt the one who'll bring the Great Darkness. Diermo as seen by Siecas is shrouded by an aura so dark, it doesn't define his dignity and pride, at first glance, who would even think that this man will set them up, as they all knew that Diermo is a very honest man, but Siecas cannot be fooled, once his eyes locked onto Diermo, he confirmed, that what he's facing is not an entity they know, it is something that one cannot perceive. A dark entity no one knew, even Siecas with Godly instincts cannot completely identify the being that is in front of him. When he realized that there are no more room for talking, he decided, that this Evil shall not come out of this world.

He activated his Domain Control, an absolute authority skill that puts his immense pressure and combined with gravity control, everyone present at the hall except Diermo, felt the very heavy pressure and can't even lift a finger. After using his Domain Control, he looked at Lendir and said

•Kill all the familiars present, NOW!!!!!•

Lendir without hesitating, blinked towards the location of Grenda, the familiar of Zecka the Queen of Wind Kingdom. As he arrived at the back of Grenda, Lendir sharpened all his senses to perceive any movement but there was none,he then proceeded to pluck out Grenda's wings, which made her unable to fly, as Grenda shouted out of pain, she quickly turned around and pulled out her twin swords, but it was all for naught, as she turned around, she felt that her heart was no longer in her body, as her mana flow suddenly emptied out, Lendir, who stabbed Grenda with his hand, grabbed Grenda's heart, as he did, Grenda turned pale, and vomitted blood while holding her twin swords. Lendir then confirmed, that Grenda is dead. Lendir, being the one who killed Grenda, pulled out his hand from Grenda's chest and completely ate her heart, and smiled as if he was very satisfied. With the rumors of a fairy's heart being able to grant unlimited amount of mana, he thought that this will make him even more stronger than before, and upon confirming the effects, he looked at Zaigon, his eyes narrowed down to a slit, with so much killing intent showing on his aura, he blinked towards Zaigon, but what he didn't know was that, Zaigon already completed a defensive skill to protect himself and his Queen. But Lendir was not fazed, rather, he smiled gently as if to say he was expecting it, and indeed he was. As soon as he saw the activation of the defensive skill, he activated his Unique Skill, Complete Nullification, which is to say that nothing can defend against his attacks, the very description of the word, to nullify all skill that goes against his will. And with that, he pulled out his sword, made with dragons claw and scales, it was very sharp and can cut through anything. He then execute his orders, but when he was about to cut the head of Zaigon, he felt a little disturbing presence, it was not scary nor it was intimidating, but it was the Unique Skill of Gezadra, being that of a half- demon and half- elf, she has a Unique Skill of Revive, she has the ability to sacrifice a portion of her life to revive the deceased, but considering that she is Half-elf which is known to have a much longer life, and with the blood of being a half-demon that can resurrect the dead with the payment of a fragments of one's very own life force, this power of hers seem to be the most annoying. Thus, Lendir, who felt a disturbing presence, jumped back slightly, and turned to the location of Grenda's corpse, which is now revived, but not completely, since Lendir ate her heart earlier, she lost most of her powers and now have just half of her original powers. Lendir, thought "this is gonna long battle, unless..." Lendir, sighed, and regain himself of his composure, he then sharpened his senses to its maximum, he analyzed his situation a bit, looking at all the familiars present, he looked at his king, who at the time is facing the other Kings and queens. Upon entering a state of stalemate, he then grabbed his sword and said

•My king, please unbind me of my seal and let me kill who wish to harm you•

Siecas, who at the time is fighting the kings and queens, suddenly heard the voice of Lendir, asking him to break the seal to unleash his power to its absolute max. Siecas, knew that Lendir was outnumbered, but never did he thought that even his familiar would seek his powers to be unleashed just because he's outnumbered, thus he analyzed the situation a bit. Releasing all of Lendir's power now should not pose any problem, but when he thinks that he might need Lendir to fight the kings and queens later on, thus, releasing his seal now will be problematic later because he will exhaust his power to early. But this is not a moment to hesitate, he decided to release Lendir's seal and immediately gave an order;

•Wipe those a**holes quick, I'll be needing you later•

Lendir, upon receiving the order, blinked to the kings back, and initiated the Seal Release. The king, saw Lendir who was ready and then quickly bit his thumb, upon doing so, blood immediately fell from his bitten thumb, and then Lendir took off his armour showing his back who has a seal tattooed on it, Siecas, spread out his blood to the seal on Lendir's back and shouted;

•I, the ruler of fire, the king that commands all beings that burn, giver of light and destruction, bestow you unlimited powers given to me by the almighty, you shall now awaken, and thus, fulfill my commands•

Upon saying those words, they were suddenly shrouded in a light, fire suddenly swirl around them and it enveloped the light. When that happened, everyone that is present in the hall felt an ominous foreboding, they felt as if they we're suddenly being hunted down and preyed upon. And the power that is being emitted by the 2 person inside the swirling fire made them feel like insects, being hunted by 2 eagles. The swirling fire subsided, and what came out of it was siecas and a being shrouded in jet black aura and everything it walked upon is melting, it was a demon incarnate, it was Lendir, but not Lendir, they could not explain the huge spectacle that is the being upon them.

Siecas POV:

As soon as Siecas ordered Lendir, his familiar, to kill all the familiars present in the hall, Lendir left his side and began the killing. Once Lendir left, he looked at Diermo, who at the time, he felt is most dangerous, thus, he instinctively assumed that he needs to eliminate this being first. He pulled out his sword, and then he tightened his grip, as he did, Diermo looked at him, with an expression so relaxed and carefree, Diermo smiled at him, like the smile of a Predator hunting its prey. Siecas, as soon as he saw that ominous smile, a chill run down his spine, a very scary entity now resides at this person that he needs to eliminate, but his instincts are telling him to back down. He stepped back, and then realized that he lost control of his Skill: Domain Control. Thus, freeing the kings and queens.

•Are you really planning to eliminate all of us here?•

Diermo said as he was looking to Siecas.

•We know you're the strongest amongst us, but are you sure, you can take on all of us?•

With a smile on her face, Fey Esfiel who at the time was being defended by Zaigon.

And suddenly Siecas realized that he need to eliminate the other Kings and Queens first, then take on Diermo later. With the situation turned against him, he heard Lendir asking for permission to release his power, with consideration on his part, Siecas quickly approved of it, thus they entered the Seal Release and they were both shrouded with light and swirl of fire everybody on the room then realized that they shouldn't have allowed that. Siecas in the midst of swirl of fire, he analyzed the situation once more, he remembered Diermo's look and realized that his power will not be able to contain the being that resides within Diermo. When he thought of that, he decided to also perform a Spell that he himself forbids. It was a spell that will consume his remaining life in exchange of power that will last 15 mins at max. That was how grave the situation is for them. Facing kings and queens should not be hard for him, even in his normal state, but facing against the entity within Diermo, Siecas knew that even him would not be able to defeat it. Thus, following his instincts, he cast the sell that will unlock all of his powers in exchange for his own life.

•Fire Deity Manifestation•

As soon as he said that, he felt the power surge within him, the power that he possessed but wasn't able to use until now, finally, he met an opponent worthy of him going all out. His armour began melting, as if the armour he was wearing can't fully handle his powers. His skin was changing into that of Dragon Scales, which is considered harder than diamond.
