"what do you mean, you're pregnant? ...what about your studies? we are going to wait, Lina remember? "

"Just tell me you're joking? "

Lina felt her husband's furious words strike her like boulders. She stared up into his face and don't recognize the man standing in front of me.

Meanwhile, Jack was shocked, that was all.

She thought , he just need some time to get over his shock. But she was lying to herself. This was a side of Jake that she had never seen before -one that he had never allowed her to see...

"I know that it's sonner than we'd planned " she said softly, trying hard to hold her tears.

"But this is the reality now, and it can't be changed. we're having a baby... a baby, Jack. don't you get how wonderful that is!! " Lina said

" I can't believe you did this. " he said grinding his teeth. "this was supposed to be a mutual decision. I'm not ready for this, Lina."

"But it's our baby .we made it together " she protested.

She tried to find her kind and loving Jack, beneath the mask of anger and frustration that he was displaying, but he was not there.

"You mean we made baby, without my consent " he said and faced her with anger in his eyes.

Tears she was struggling to keep, started to flow down her cheeks.

"I don't know why you're being like this " she cried

"I don't plan this...it just happened. Our birth control pills failed. I asked doctor and he said that if I had a stomach virus or anything like that it could have provided little bit of chances. and remember?? I was sick couple of days before your company party months ago!!! "he just left the room without a word...

she followed him as he went downstairs.

But she was shocked.. by what she saw...

He open the medicine chest and yanked out her birth control pills.

"What are you doing? " She tried to maintain her composure as he counted the pills left. and felt the hope she had been clinging up till now inside her died..

she felt nauseated as she watched the man she had married turn into a monster in front of her. slowly confusion turned into fury? How could he do this to her? How could he insult her like this?

"God, have you been draining down the pills every night? "he said being amused and she felt like hitting him hard on head.

"you know I won't do that "

"do l? well I don't know you well.,as i thought I did, do I!! " Jack said sarcastically

"of course you know me, Jack "she tried to appeal the unreasonable man and moved closer and softly touched his rigid forearm ,but he pushed her hand and moved away from her.

"Get out of here " he said harshly

But at this instance Lina felt something give away and broke her completely.

"what " she must have misheard him. she still tried to give him the benefit of the doubt.

Get the hell out " he said before turning to face her. Lina just stared at his face.

There was nothing -no regret.,no anger..

she don't know this man .

"Go now " he repeated harshly.

she sobbed , left the room and did as he said she left the house" forever "

...Two year's later ...

She had been working for less than two hours and she already know that it had been a mistake to come . As she knows that not showing up for work means not getting paid and that would not be in her favor . Especially now couldn't risk losing it.. . A flu had wiped her out for nearly a week , leaving her without income .

Although she was bit shaky , still draged herself to work . As she walked through the front door of the cafe . she tried her best to get through this tough day smoothly , but still she was mixing up her orders , breaking dishes and so on...

She know very well that the manager , who is itching to fire her for a long time and now she is basically giving him a great excuse to get rid of her..

A young couple with a baby stroller made their way to her section , so she walked over to them . The couple was chatting and laughing with each other while the baby was sleeping peacefully in the stroller.

" Good afternoon " she mumured , trying hard to keep standing straight .

" Would you like anything to drink ? " Now only the woman noticed her and was about to give her order but her companion interrupted her .

"Oh my God !! is that really you Lisa ? " the man said

Lisa's mind went blank at this instance for

some unknown reason ,after sometime she reacted and raised her hand to cover her mouth as to swallow her cry when she recognized the handsome man standing in front of her .

Her vision blurred and she blinked rapidly to clear it . Not only her but the baby was also startled awake by the man's harsh voice and started crying .

"So this is where you were hiding out all this time " Now the shock had disappeared from his voice to be replaced by contempt .

"Ricky " She murmured or can be said whispered .. overwhelmed by shock fear and relief all at a same time .

" Don't call me that " he growled in Warning and continued " God you're an ice cold bitch , aren't you ? How could you stay away all this time ? How could you live peacefully after doing such a thing ? Don't you feel disgused by yourself "

" Please " She said same as Whisper .

" please don't "

" Don't want , call a spade a spade " he sneered .

" Rick " The woman whom Lisa have forgotten about spoke up while she keep her voice low and keep rocked the still crying baby .

" Take it easy for Heaven's sake , she doesn't look well and what's going on here "

"Of course she doesn't look well " he scoffed

" Why would she look well when , she had finally been caught like the miserable little sneak that she is " he said

Lisa swayed even more . Rick had never spoken to her like this before .It wasn't in his gentle nature to be so cruel and Lisa started trembling even more terribly .

" Rick " The women spoke again but she can't here clearly , than her vision started to blurred more . " . . . Rick . . .stop it " she was saying something but her head was buzzing . she shook her head but , it got worse . She growned weekly and lifted her hands to her head but it didn't help while her vision got narrowed and narrow , until she could not see anything voice is faded in and out of her mind .

Lisa struggled to make sense of what they were saying " . . . don't get " Man said " What she did . . .unforgiveable . . .left him . . . b**** . . ." The women said

" Is she what . . . what she do so bad " Lisa tried to open her eyes but in vain " lonely Jack . . . needed her . . . most " She only managed to get this much after , that couple went silent .

" Waking up " The woman said , hurriedly " doctor right now "

Doctor ? Lisa frowned ? Why a doctor ? For the first time , since regaining consciousness she wondered where she was and what is happening . She tried to open her heavy lids apart with great efforts .

She opened her eyes , a pretty woman came in front of her sight , who seems to be younger than her . The woman smiled warmly trying to calm Lisa down .

" Try not to panic " She instructed gently " You passed out at work , At first we thought you are in shock , but it become pretty clear that you are seriously ill " her sea green eyes are big behind the lenses and her soft voice sounded sweet to ears " You should never go to work in this condition . You should take better care of yourself " Lisa frowned ,wondering who the woman was .

But she neglected her as she was going to need that strength to face Rick .

At this instance , an alarming thought stuck her as she sat up in a panic ignoring the dizziness .

" Passed out at work " her voice sounded weak " Oh no, I have to call my boss "

" Lisa " The woman placed her soft hands on her shoulders to push your back onto the cot but her eyes brimming with sympathy " I am afraid that he doesn't care about any of this anyone now . He said something like , having had enough of your Dramas and that you should not bother coming back . I am so sorry "

" Oh no " she murmured " no no , I need this job " she absentmindedly .

" Well if you want to keep it you should not have gone to work in this condition , young lady " A stern voice came from the door , where an old man in white coat was standing .

" Are you trying to kill yourself ? You just have recovered from bad flu , possibly even pneumonia and you were so dihydrated that when they bring you here . I am amazed you didn't pass out Soner . The simple fact that you have been unconscious for nearly five hours is the proof that , how close you were to relapse " Lisa went dramatically pale from the sudden news but doctor wrongly assumed that he had shocked her into taking her illness seriously .

" I would like to keep you overnight to monitor your condition " doctor said.
