Hope Evans

I never thought this day would come when I had to move half way across the country because of my parents divorce. I’m Hope Evans and I am almost sixteen and in my last year of highschool, my parents divorced almost two years ago. Since then my mother has been struggling to keep he hours going, so she sold uo and we moved to a two bedroom apartment in the city around an hour away from my old highschool. I had loads of friends there and I will miss them I don’t think that I will ever find friends like them ever again. My older brother is on tour. He is a Sergeant for the British army and I really miss him. He always kept me in touch and fit which I am failing missirabley at, well he returns in six months and no doubt he’ll be on my gs again I hate exercise. And he knows it so he makes me push myself to the limits god I hate it and he knows it too. He says if I don’t shape up he’s making sure mom gets me into boot camp next summer to put me through my paces and make me a better person and to show me what respect is all about it won’t be no ordinary boot camp but an army boot camp like one he went on before he decided wanted to go into the army full time.

Well mom found herself husband number two. God why this torture? She knew I was happy with just the two of us since dad left fuckign alcohol prick all he cared about was drowning in booze and cigarettes maybe drugs. He got sent down two years ago for aggravated burglary that’s when mom finally decoded enough we]as enough and out in for a divorce. Finley has told her several times to get out of their toxic relationship but of course mom thought she could change him. That was her mistake as you can never change a leopard's spots. He just got worse he began lashing out in her then me. Fin out him in a coma for six months before he had to return to Afghanistan three years ago. He’s back there now pointless if you ask me but it’s where they are based for the next six months till he returns home. He’ll be based here for awhile not sure how long for cause the army travels a lot. I miss him he’s my rock he’s the only one who understands me, he also wasn’t too pleased to know mom had met someone new and we were up and leaving our apartment to their home to live their the wedding is in a month and fun will return to give her away and return to Afghanistan to finish his year off before he returns. I miss him so much at least he listens unlike mom. She tells me that I have to take it in my stride and to try to get in with her fiancées son. Yeah you heard me right he has a son Joshua Kenley he is the same age as me and I will be going to the same highschool as him this did not please me at all. I wanted to stay where I was with my friends, but not thanks to this ridiculous relationship I have o up and leave and say goodbye to everyone I’ve know for my entire life and those friends I’ve made in the last five years to move to a school where I know no one just fucking great.

‘Hope it’s time to go.’

‘Coming mom.’ I shouted.

Fucking great now I’ve got to go and smile and be polite welcome my new family welcome my hell!

I walk out of my room with my last bag in my hand. No fucker is touching this bag. It holds all my memories okay I have facebook so I can keep in contact with my friends but it’s not the same. I met mom downstairs. ‘Well this is it darling we’re finally saying goodbye.’

‘Mmh.’

‘Come on sweetie, you can still talk to your friends on what you call it?’

‘Facebook mom.’

She smiled. And we walked out of the house. She closed the door locking it behind us before we got into the car, my bag once back seat. She started the engine. ‘You’ll like them honey, they're really nice.’

‘Mmh.’

‘Try and be nice and make friends.’

‘Whatever.’

‘I mean it hope this is a new beginning for the both of us Hope.’

‘For  you maybe.’ Not so much for me. I thought I really didn’t want this.

He knew I was happy with just the two of us since mom had passed away, it had been four years since that horrific day and he’d always said he wasn’t interested in finding someone new. So why now?

Yes she had a daughter Hope Evans soon to be my step sister, she’s in so much shit. She won’t know what’s hit her.

I don’t need more people in my life I have my dad and my firends that’s all I need. I don’t need a new mother and I definitely don’t need a sister. I’d told my closest friends about having a stepsister they were all looking forward to meeting her except me I couldn’t wait for her mother to **** up so I could get rid of her forever.

Dad opend the door to let them in. He kissed her cheek er gross. ‘Lauren this is my son Joshua. Joshua this is Lauren.’

‘Nice to meet you.’

‘You to I guess.’

‘This is Hope my daughter.’

 I looked at her and scoffed. ‘Mmh.’

‘Ignore my son he’s in a bad mood. Show Hope to her room.’

‘Whatever. Come on it’s this way.’

She followed me up the stairs quietly good just the way I like it.’

‘Here’s your room. The bathroom is just down the hall.’

‘Thanks.’

‘Whatever.’

I turned heading away looking at her. I leaned forward. ‘Don’t get to used to it this is your living hell.’

‘Nice reception. She said stepping into her room slamming the door. Glad she understsnds me.

‘You best come down. She said I had to stay here until you got your *** off the bed and down stairs.’

 I guess she liked to curse, she’d be cursing a lot after today once I got her alone. She pulled herself up off the bed and huffed storming out of the room. I guess she needed to be brought down a peg or two and I’d be the one to do it. I smirked evily. Welcome to your hell sweetheart.

Caleb Harper

My best friend  Joshua Kingsley informed me that his father was due to remarry he was no pleased. Put  it bluntly he was vexed, in the worst possible way.

He also told me he’d had a step sister our age he was not pleased at all to know they’d  be moving into their house  before the wedding. Hell he wanted to ruin the bitch that had got her claws into his father as he put it mildly and make sure she  would regret the day that she ever laid her eyes on his father, he also called her a gold dooming bitch and she was only after his fathers money cause he owned his own company  and she wanted to bell him dry. As for the daughter he was willing to make her life he’ll and he’d make sure no one would ever look at her let all one make friends with her. I tried to calm him down trying to understand his twisted ways he told me to stay out of his fucking business putting it mildly. But I Caleb Harper will vow to protect the girl from him the best I can, she doesn’t deserve his wrath. I’ve never seen him this mad before maybe he was being the brat he always was, it had been him and his dad for years after his mom left for another guy he hated her with a passion cause she left her only son for a hyped up jerk. I think he was venting his anger and insecurities out on these poor people cause what happened  with his mother four years ago. Everyone deserves to be happy, right?

Right now I’m on my way to school me and Josh are in our final year he tells me his step sister to be will be in our year personally I can’t wait to meet her. I hope he hasn’t done anything drastic.

Well back to school we go my dad is making me to take her with me, WHY? She is capable of finding her own way there all by herself I didn’t even entertain them or talk to them last night my dad was pissed, like I care. She stepped out of her room perfect timing bitch. Today is your unlucky day. I pushed her to the wall she stared at me unnerved.’ I’ll tel you this once slut don’t even get in my way today, don’t talk to my friends or there will be hell to pay.’

‘Don’t worry I don’t even want to make friends with yours if they’re are anything like you.’

‘Like I want to wall with you. Don’t worry I’m sure u can find my own way I’m a big girl I don’t need anything from you.’

I smirked pulling away going down stairs for breakfast before leaving for school I have to meet Caleb on the way I’m glad she didn’t want to walk with me anyways cause knowing Caleb he’d flirt with her and I couldn’t have that she’s my toy and if she disobeyed me she won’t know what’s hit her.

‘Fucking jerk.’ Who the **** does he think he is? As if I wanted to walk to school with him. It was their stupid idea I’m a grown as woman I think I can find my way to that stupid school with out anyone’s help especially his.

I avoid him and take a few pieces of toast with out saying a goodbye I exit the house and go on my  way to school. God I hate it here already I’ll have to remind my self to contact Breigh and Courtney when school is over.
