I stopped before the door. "33/05 Central Home,GreenGarden,Jeneda", I mumbled to myself. I touched the door handle. I was really nervous. So,I hesitated a little bit before opening the door. I put my luggage beside. Slowly I unlocked the lock and turned around the handle. I opened the door with excited eyes.

                                                 I looked forward and saw a dusty,haunted room. "Really? It really looks like a haunted room", I exhaled. "I think I'll have to clean it up all the day", I told myself. I was expecting a translucent room. I suddenly remembered my mom's word, "Something happens naturally, something doesn't. Which one doesn't you'll always have to do it. Remember it whenever you feel upset." That inspired me a lot. So,I thought why I can't make this room better. I'll absolutely do it. "I believe myself,I can."

                          I pulled my luggage in the drawing room. Then I realized if I clean all the rooms then what will my roommate do after reaching here? So,I decided that she will wash everything. Even the toilet.

                                  Eventually I opened the tap of the shower. I didn't took the bath on bathtub because it was dirty. The toilet was in a bad condition though. But I adjusted. "I won't clean it,cause I've done a lot of things. She will do it. It is my order!" I punched my left hands palm.

It was really a hard working day. I never felt so tired before without a last-exam-night. It feels good when you take shower with a tired body. It would feel more if you use the bathtub. "But no way,I'm not gonna do it."

                     When I came outside the bathroom,it was 5:23pm on my wristwatch. I reached here at 11:17am in the morning. Now I really felt fresh. I headed towards the bedroom. I was scared for only one reason and that was I had to share my apartment home with someone I don't even know.

                           I opened the bedroom's door. I was overjoyed when I realized the bedroom was cleaner than the other rooms. I changed the bed cover and jumped on the bed. I felt a surge of relief so,I fell asleep.

           That's how my first day at my dream destination ended.

When I woke up I saw it was 7:43am on my wristwatch. I overslept this night. Though it was pretty tough day. Now I felt relieved. I opened the door and headed towards the bathroom. After brushing I washed my face very hard. With a soft touch my towel made me refreshed.

I thought it would be nice to have a cup of coffee. So I put the towel back on the hanger and moved to the kitchen. I put the coffee maker at a corner on the kitchen cabinet yesterday. I made a cup of coffee. I headed towards the sofa to sit.

As I went there my brain suddenly notified me that there was someone lying. A huge wave of panic attacked me and the cup fell on the floor. It smashed. But the scary thing was that whoever was lying on the sofa was still sleeping. So I got a chance to make a plan.

I ran to my room. I thought to call Mrs. Lewis. When I switched on my phone it was dead. I remembered I forgot to charge it since I reached here. My stomach was in great panic about what am I gonna do? Then I remembered about the knife set that I bought a few days ago. I took a big,sharp knife and went to face the trouble.

              When I approached there I pulled up the blanket. I was shocked to see that it was a man. Maybe not too old but still a 'man'. My hands were trembling. I gripped the knife tight and said, "Wake up." He didn't move a little bit. I shouted, "Wake! Up!" A very low voice said, "Stop Nat,I need to sleep."

Listening that I became angry. I was there to beat him and he thought I'm 'Nat'? I asked myself. And anger gripped me hard. I yelled, "Wake!!! Up!!!, I'm not Nat." I pointed the knife at him.

Slightly he opened his eyes,he didn't look at me. Then blinking his eyes once he stared at me. He said, "Nat, don't try t...", he stopped. He watched me carefully. Then he asked, "What do you want?". I raised my one eyebrow and said, "But I think I'm supposed to ask this."

                   He gazed at me and smirked. "Are you kidding me?" He said. I was surprised seeing how can somebody laugh when someone is holding a knife before him. I told him, "No,I'm not kidding. I'm asking you this question because this house is mine. And how come you think me your 'Nat' when you know where you are?". His tone became serious. I warned him, "Tell the truth,or I'll call the cops." He told, "Oh,lady,I can explain. I have the permit to stay here. My mom bought this house." I became thoughtful.

       "Okay then show me",I ordered. He opened up his trolley and found the papers. Holding the file stared at me. "But why should I show you?" He asked. I was stunned. I slowly put the knife down and whispered, "Cause this house is mine." He said, "Fine,then show me your permission." A moment passed. "Proof instead of proof", He told.

I thought for a moment and went to fetch the file. When I came back he was pointing his file towards me. I gripped that and gave him mine. Both of us carefully read it. "I found nothing inappropriate." We said the same sentence simultaneously. It was kinda wierd.

                   "Do you have charge on your phone? I think we should call Mrs. Lewis." I said. "And please forgive me for the misunderstanding." I said in a lower voice.

He took his phone out of his pocket. Hastily he placed it on the tea table. I moved forward to take it. And the worst thing happened. There was the spoiled coffee on the floor,and the broken pieces of the cup. I stumbled there and fell. It was pretty painful.

                       I suddenly realized that if I don't get up fast he'll try to help me. So I got up in haste. I took the phone and dialed Mrs. Lewis's number.

"Hello,Mrs. Lewis speaking." A smooth,heavy voice spoke. "Um.. Hi,I'm 33/05 Central Home's resident. I need your help." I said rapidly. The voice answered, "Okay,don't worry I'll be there in 10 minutes." She hung up the phone. I turned to that boy who's name was Eric Black which I saw in the permit.

               I said, "Here's your phone,thanks,she's coming." He moved his eyes to somewhere else and commanded me," Change your dress." I looked at myself. My thighs were brown because of the coffee. I ran to my room. I heard the door bell's ringing so,hurried. I wore the black pajama and a tshirt. When I came outside I saw that Eric cleaned the dirt. I said, "Hi Mrs. Lewis."

              She smiled and told, "I know why there is misunderstanding. Actually the thing is, Anna you're supposed to stay with a girl named Alison. But unfortunately she died in a car accident." She moved her eyes from me and looked at Eric. She continued, "Eric, you're supposed to stay with a boy who's parents tried to shift him here. But he is so stubborn so he declined the proposal. His father took the money back. So, I can't help with that. I'm sorry dear." She took rest for a while. "You have to talk with your parents or you have to stay here." She finished. Eric spoke, "I'm not leaving this place. If she wants she can." "Okay then,thank you Mrs. Lewis. I'll think about it." I said. She stood up and went outside.

Eric went after her to close the door. I started talking, "Now, I don't have charge on my phone. So I'm staying here today for sure. After getting back my phone's charge I'll talk with my parents." He said, "You cleaned the hole house." I stared at him. "So I'm forgiving you for that knife moment." I felt a huge relief.

                   I never feel that implicated without seeing someone not forgiving me. I took a sight of my wristwatch and it was almost school time. So I went to my room to change my clothes.

I went to take a fast shower. The bathtub was still dirty. Unwillingly I cleaned the toilet first.

When I entered my room,I pluged the charger in my phone. I started dressing up. While combing my hair,I switched on the phone and called momma.

"Hello,honey" she said. "Momma,everything went wrong here. I need to discuss with you." Beep beep,a sound hitted my ears. "Momma..momma I need to talk." I hurried. "Sorry,honey. I have a meeting to join. Please call me later." She hung up. Now my only way was dad. I called him again and again. No answer came.

So the decision I made was, "It's fine I'm staying with a boy. Well he's not gonna hurt me anyway. So I have to adjust. Why should I sacrifice with my dream. It'll be fine one day." I motivated myself.

I left the phone for charge and started to bind my hair. My hair is medium sized,wavy so I did two side long pony. In all of my schools I have always done two side buns. But for my new,settled school I tried something new. When I came out of my room I saw Eric was standing beside the door.

"Hey,I didn't tell you to wait for me." My stomach crunched for feeling guilty. He moved his head from the floor and looked at me. "I wasn't waiting for you. How can I leave the house on your own?" It was strange.

                     I left the matter. "Okay then let's go. I can't leave the house with you alone." I said. He moved his eyes round in disgust. I tied my shoelaces and opened the door. I was waiting for him to come. I remembered something and asked, "How did you know I cleaned the whole house?"

"Mrs. Lewis told me. By the way I'm not that stupid." He commented. I started to walk to the lift.

He locked the door and came close to me. I asked him, "Are you waiting for the lift too?" He nodded. I jumped a few steps then ran to the stairs. My heart was beating like a bomb expecting us in a lift,together.

When I came downstairs,he was standing there. He was actually bothering me. I asked, "What is your problem boy?" He showed me his disgust and told, "What,you think I'm that kind of boy who leaves a girl alone?" It surprised me.

"Okay,let's go together." I headed toward. I thought if he's really trying to save me then let him do it. I looked at myself when we reached the glass door. I arranged my hair. I felt like I was looking cute.

I started walking. All the way he was right behind me,watching his phone. I said, "Don't you know looking at your phone on the freeway is bad,it could be a great danger." He looked forward and said, "We have reached school." He put his phone in his pocket. I stopped at the entrance.

"I've been imagining this place for my whole life. What if it's not that what I was dreaming?" I muttered. He asked,"Any problem?" I said, "No,no it's fine." And I entered my first,settled school. I was feeling joyful. "Excuse me,where can I get a map?" I asked to a student. She showed me a way. I went there and grabbed one. I showed him, "Um.. Eric we're at the entrance. I'm fifteen so I'm going this way. Which one is your path?" He answered, "My class is this way. Bye bye" I stared at the map and saw his way was the exact opposite way from mine. He must be seventeen.

I started to find my class. At last I found it. I entered in the room. It was kinda empty. I looked at my wristwatch. There was enough time for students to come. I took a seat.

                     A red haired girl with a ponytail came and sat beside me. Warily she started talking, "Hi,are you new here?" I answered, "Yes". "Then can we be friends?" She gazed at me. I answered, "Of course" I saw she  became very happy. "Don't worry I won't hurt you. And I'll never ask for homework. Actually I have no friends so I wanted one." She said with a heavy heart. I said, "Why don't you have a friend?" She replied, "I got no hostility but also haven't got someone to stimulate. Though I have got a news reporter." I smirked, "Can I know who is that news reporter?" She replied as that person was vitally important for her, "She is Nikki. Oops,I'm sorry I forgot to tell you my name."

"Actually my name is Bethany Alexander. I live in West Peeks,GreenGarden. Hey there!" I thought she'll say something more but she stopped. Her finger dedicated one way. I looked over there. I saw a girl running towards me. She stopped before me and started to control her breath.

"Aren't you.. that girl who.. was with that hands..ome boy?" She said somehow. I pointed myself and stumbled, "Me.. and a handsome boy?" She smiled, "Yes babe!" In my imagination I fell from a cliff.

            "I'm sorry but he's just my roommate." I cleared the matter. "Woah..woah,woah he's your roommate?" She wondered. I stared at Bethany. She was open mouthed. "Which handsome boy,Nikki?" She asked. I looked back at Nikki. Bethany said, "Hey,let me introduce. This is Nikki Lawrence." She pointed at Nikki. She continued, "And this is Anna Cullen,Nikki." I told Nikki, "Hi" She said, "It's fine."

                          The teacher came inside and Nikki took a seat before us. Two classes passed. Then we got a little break. Nikki turned to me. "Tell me,does he likes you?" She asked. I wondered, "Who?" She said, "Uh.. that boy with whom you came to school." I grasped the matter. "How can I know does he like me or not? We just met today." I answered. "Endearing Anna,we would really love to give you love lessons." Bethany put her hands on my shoulder. "Eww.. I don't need it." I sticked my tongue outside.

                       "We'll seeeee...." Both of them shouted. I moved my eyes from them. Another teacher came in. At last we got the lunch break.

"What are you gonna eat,Anna?" Bethany asked. I answered with a little grin, "I'll buy something." "No need. I'll buy a meal for you. Come on I just got a new friend." She smiled. Nikki came in front of us. Bethany said, "Don't worry I'll buy you a meal too." We chuckled.

                      We sat at a corner table. We started prattling about our future. I turned my head a little bit and saw Eric with some other guys. They were coming toward us. "Hi Anna,Im Robin." An unknown boy said. I said, "Nice to meet you. But how come you know me?"

He said, "Your roommate told me about you." Nikki said, "You can have a seat here."

They sat there. I noticed Bethany wasn't quite fine. "Hey,are you feeling uncomfortable?" I whispered. Nikki said, "Anna,this is Jackson Miller." She pointed at the boy who was sitting on the left side of Robin. I said, "Hi" Nikki whispered beside my ears, "And he is Bethany's crush." Now I understood why she was blushing. "Okay,so now let's eat."

              We were about to go back. Robin said, "Let's meet you at the entrance while the school breaks up,guys." Then we came back to our class. Next classes passed easily. The recession time came.

While walking to the entrance,I asked Nikki, "Why Bethany called you a reporter?" Nikki looked at me, "When?" She asked. I said, "When she was talking about her only one friend." Nikki giggled, "Yeah,my hobby is reporting. I wanna be a reporter. That's how I knew you were with Eric." We all smirked. We reached the entrance. We waited there for a few minutes,then those three boys came. I noticed Bethany started being shy. Robin said, "Let's go home. By the way I dwell in Southern Waves. Of course it's in GreenGarden." Chattering we all came to a crossroad. Now we have to leave each other. "By-bye" We all moved our hands. Bethany went to the western side,Nikki went to the main exit of GreenGarden,and Robin and Jackson went together to the south part. I and Eric started walking to the Central Home. "Well,does Jackson and Robin stays together?" I asked Eric. He answered without looking at me, "No,they will leave each other at the Harmonica Street." I nodded. We reached our destination. I took the stairs and he took the lift. It was the same,when I reached my floor he was standing beside the door. "Don't ask me why,it's 13th floor." I entered in my house because he opened the door before I reached. We opened our shoes. He jumped into the sofa. "Feeling great relief,huh?" I asked him. Then threatened him, "If you don't go to take a bath right now I'll bring that knife." "What is your problem? I'm just taking a little break." He said in disgust. "Okay then take this little rest after taking the bath and changing the clothes." I stood before him with a mood. He said, "Fine" and headed to his room.

                    I exhaled.
