Alena had longed for some where to go. Where she lived there was nothing, nowhere to go. She had heard of Club Exodus, but had never dared to venture out of the town which she lived. She had no idea what secrets this city held, and they knew nothing of hers.
She had asked her friends to join her, but they were cautious of venturing out into the unknown city from their town. So she went alone.
She had taken the bus to the edge of the city. The driver looked at her as she stepped off the bus. ‘You don’t want to get going in there.’
She looked at him. ‘Why?’
‘Things happen in there. Bad things.’
‘I’ll take my chances. Thanks anyway.’
He nodded and smiled.
Alyna stepped off the bus onto the pavement. The doors of the bus closed, and the bus pulled away.
Alena looked into the city that was lit by fire lanterns. She walked under the arch way. Which held a sign. “Welcome to Hargrove”. She continued to walk through the city. Flashing bright red lights startled her. She looked over. “Club Exodus”, she smiled and walked over to the club. The bouncers nodded as she passed. She walked down the stairs into the underground club. On to the dance floor un-aware that a perfect pair of ice blue eyes were following her. She ordered a drink, then turned. Looking straight into those ice blue eyes. She stood paralysed her eyes fixed on his. Her head felt light and fuzzy. The glass dropped out of her hand smashing to the floor. She dropped into the strangers arms.
‘Zep over here come and help me get her up stairs.’
‘Sure.’
A dark haired male jumped over the bar lifting her legs as the blond haired on lifted her from her under arm. They slowly carried her into the upstairs flat gently placing her on to the bed. ‘Thanks bro.’
‘She was quicker than the rest.’
‘Sure was.’
‘I’ll catch you later bro.’
‘Sure later.’
Zephyr walked out of the flat closing the flat door behind him.
Exodus sat on the bed guiding his hand down her face. ‘Finally this hell has brought us an angel. We’re going to have some fun.’
He leaned forward placing his lips on hers kissing her, he pulled away lying besides her.
Alena opened her eyes she looked besides her where he laid the man that had startled her the night before, the eyes that had burned straight through hers. Why was she there? And why was she with him?
She pulled herself up slowly, quietly leaving the room so not to wake him. She looked into the hall which held four other doors. She looked in three of the rooms before finding the bathroom. It was so dark in there. She pulled a cord lighting the room before closing and locking the door behind her. She freshened up looking into the mirror. A pair of ice blue eyes stared back at her. She stumbled.
‘What are you doing in here?’
‘Freshening up.’
‘Come on.’
He took her hand pulling her that quick she fell onto his chest. She looked up at him. He smiled, so eerie, and not at all comforting. She pulled away almost falling to the floor.
‘Come on.’ He said opening the door leading her out of the bathroom, and across the hall into the third room on the left.
He pulled her down onto the bed. He looked down on her guiding his hand down her face, she lay nervously. He ignored her nervousness striking up a conversation with her. ‘So what’s your name? I didn’t catch it last night.’
‘That’s because I didn’t throw it.’
‘Sparkly. I like it.’ So what’s your name? Or shall I call you angel?’
‘Call me what you like.’
He smiled. ‘Exodus. I own the club down stairs.’
‘Oh.’ She said feeling ever inch of her body shaking.
‘Do you like having fun my little Angel?’
‘Depends on what kind of fun it is.’
He smiled evilly. She didn’t like the way that he was smiling at her. Her friends had told her not to go it alone, now she wished that she hadn’t.’
He leaned forward.
‘No!’
He looked at her. ‘Why ever not? I’m attracted to you, you’re attracted to me.’
‘I’m with someone.’
‘They’re not here now. I am.’
‘I.’
‘Please my angel.’
He placed his lips on hers kissing her, she returned his kiss fearing what he would do to her.
He kissed her harder and harder almost suffocating her.
He pulled away. ‘See that wasn’t so bad was it?’
She looked at him.
‘The fun and games begin tomorrow.’
She looked at him fearfully.
He placed his lips on hers kissing her harder and harder his nails slicing through her thighs. She screamed struggling for freedom, the harder she tried the more pain he’d give.
He pulled away. Pulling his nails out of her thighs. He placed his hand on her face. ‘Now rest.’
Her eyes slowly closed.
Alena woke, her wrists tied to each pole of the bed. Exodus looking down on her. ‘Untie me.’
‘Later. A little fun first.’
‘No!’ she screamed trying to break free. ‘What are you going to do to me?’
He smiled evilly, pulling himself on top of her. ‘Just lye back and enjoy it.’
He placed his lips on hers kissing her, kissing her harder and harder guiding his nails down her arms cutting them open blood gushing out. He pulled away looking at her. ‘Doesn’t cry or I’ll kill you.’
She swallowed her tears.
He placed his lips back onto hers kissing her, kissing down her body, she cringed holding her tears back. He guided his hands down her legs and up the insides of her legs. Her heart beating faster every second in his company, trying to escape him, the ropes cutting into her wrists. Tearing her flesh open.
His tongue slithered up her body. He slipped inside her placing his lips back onto hers kissing her, his nails slicing through her flesh as he held on to her tightly making love to her.
He pulled away untying her. She leaped up going for him. He threw her back on to the bed, her head bouncing off the back wall. Landing on the bed, he grabbed her wrists looking angrily down at her. ‘Do you know who I am?’
‘N-n-no.’
‘You will find out soon enough, until then no stunts, or I will kill you.’
‘My friends and boy friend will come looking for me.’
‘If they do I’ll kill them too.’
She looked into his ice blue eyes, they were glazed, full of anger, her eyes filling.
‘What have I told you about crying?’
‘Please let me go.’
‘No.’
‘My friends told me not to come here alone.’
‘Well you did so deal with it.’
He loosed her wrists. ‘Now rest. I shall return later, maybe then you would’ve calmed down.’
He pulled away slipping off the bed and out of the room.
Alena lay silent. What sort of place had she come too? Who was this Exodus guy all she knew was he was a freak.
‘So how is she X?’
‘Feisty.’
‘Just the way you like them.’
‘Yeah. A little too feisty. She needs to calm down.’
‘You found the right one this time then?’
‘I hope so, or I shall have to kill her too.’
‘Seems such a shame she looks so pretty.’
‘She is.’
‘She told you her name yet?’
‘Not yet.’
‘Are you bringing her down to the club?’
‘Another night, when she’s learned to trust me.’
Alena woke, she pulled herself up off the bed. She walked slowly and painfully out of the room across the hall into the bathroom. She closed the door. A dark coloured dress hung from the door, a note attached to it. ‘Please wear this dress for me X.
She took the note of it taking it of the hanger with a pair of g-strings tied to it. She shook her head. She placed them on the bath then slipped out of her blood stained clothes slipping into the g-strings then the dress. She freshened up and ventured into the lounge. She flicked through the many CD’s and found one of her choice putting it into the CD player pressing play, pouring herself a glass of red. She sipped it then placed it down next to the player dancing to the CD.
‘Is Exodus here?’
She stopped, turned. ‘No.’
‘Don’t stop on my account.’
‘I’m sorry I didn’t hear you.’
‘Exodus said to meet him here.’
‘Sorry I haven’t seen him since.’ She looked out of the window it was pitch black outside.
‘You okay?’
‘Yeah. Just I haven’t seen Exodus since it was light that’s all.’
‘It’s fine. I’ll wait. I’m sure you’ll keep me company till he returns won't you?’
‘I guess.’
‘So what shall I call you?’
‘He calls me Angel. You can call me whatever.’
‘So you’re his new project are you?’
‘You what?’
‘Nothing. You’ll find out soon enough.’ He said walking over to Alyna.
She turned.
‘Don’t turn it off.’
‘I’m not I’m just skipping a few tracks.’
She turned, his eyes met hers. ‘Shall we?’
‘I..’
‘Come on he won’t say anything.’
‘O-kay.’ She replied unsure.
He took her hand slipping his fingers through them, holding onto her waist as he closed his hand over hers.
They moved slowly, gliding across the room. ‘So where do you come from?’
‘Not far just a bus ride away.’
‘I see.’
He lowered her. ‘He chose well.’
She looked at him; he pulled her back up, pulling her close, peering over her neck bearing his incisors.
‘Tragen!’
He looked up looking directly at Exodus. His incisors disappearing. He pulled away from Alena. . His arm dropping from round her, her hand out of his.
She looked over.
‘Exodus.’
‘Who let you in?’
‘You asked me to be here.’
‘I did not tell you to enter and take advantage of Angel now leave.’
‘But you.’
‘I’ll see you down in the club.’
‘Sure.
Tragen walked away. Looking at Alena. ‘Nice meeting you.’
‘You too.’
He turned back walking passed Exodus silently.
Exodus walked over to Alena. His hand shot across her face, making it bleed. ‘Did you let him in?’
‘No. He took me by surprise.’
Exodus placed his hands on Alena’s face. ‘Stay away from him Angel. He’ll kill you rather than look at you.’
‘But.’
His eyes burned into hers. ‘Trust me.’
‘Okay.’
He leaned forward placing his lips on hers kissing her. Kissing her harder and harder, lifting her legs rapping them round him making love to her. His nails slicing through her. Piercing through her thighs as he grabbed tightly onto her.
He pulled away pulling his nails out of her thighs before they too dropped to the floor. He pulled his lips away from hers.
‘Is that all you want me for? Is that what I am to you a sex project?’
He looked confused at her. ‘What did you say?’
‘You heard.’
‘What do you mean?’
‘If I’m your new project is that what it is?’
‘Who told you?’
She stood shaking, looking into his angered ice blue eyes.
‘Tragen!’
He turned saying nothing walking away towards the door. He looked at her. ‘Oh by the way you look great in the dress. You’ll have to wear it down the club.’
‘Can I come?’
‘Not tonight, maybe another.’
‘Okay.’
He turned back walking out of the flat slamming the door shut.
Exodus slammed Tragen up the wall. ‘Stay away from Angel okay!’
‘Why?’
‘I know you better than you know yourself.’
‘I like her.’
‘Stay away.’ Exodus loosed Tragen, slashing him across the face. ‘Oh and another thing why tell her that she was a project?’
‘A slip of the tongue.’
Exodus slashed him again. ‘Next time it will be your tongue.’ He turned walking away.
Alena tip toed down stairs opening the door that led to the back of the club. She sat down on the stairway. At lest he hadn’t taken away her cigarettes. She slipped one into her mouth lighting it, slipping the lighter into her pocket, blowing the smoke out of her mouth.
‘Do you mind if I joined you?’
She looked up at a pair of flu resent green eyes. ‘No.’
He sat next to her lighting a cigarette. ‘So what’s your name?’
‘If I haven’t given it to him I’m not going to give it to you am I?’
‘Guess not.’ He said blowing out the smoke. He put his hand out. ‘Crash.’ She took hiss hand. ‘He calls me Angel.’
He smiled shaking her hand with his black painted nailed hand.
‘Have you all got weird names round here?’
‘Yeah.’
‘What are you vampires?’
‘Maybe, maybe not.’
She pulled her hand from in his.
‘So what are you doing here?’
‘I needed air. The flat’s giving me a headache.’
‘Sure one’s going to cure it?’ he smiled.
‘Maybe, maybe not.’
‘So he’s keeping you up there is he?’
‘Yeah. I fell suffocated. All I want to do is go home.’
‘He won’t let you do that.’
‘Why?’
‘He just won’t.’
‘But.’
‘There you are Angel.’
She looked up, the dark figure shadowed over her. ‘Exodus.’
‘What are you doing out here babe?’
‘I needed air. There’s non in that flat.’
He looked at Crash. ‘Back to work, break’s over.’
‘Sure boss.’
Crash pulled himself up, dropping his nub to the ground. ‘Nice to meet you Angel.’
‘You too.’
He walked away. The door swung shut behind him. Exodus sat next to Alyna. Taking the cigarette off her taking a drag, blowing the smoke out of his mouth.
‘I thought you would’ve got rid of them like everything else of mine.’
‘No. And I haven’t got rid of anything you’ll find your belongings in the wardrobe, where many clothes are hanged ready for you to wear. Any way we can’t have you going without a cigarette can we?’
‘I guess not.’
He took another drag blowing the smoke out. He leaned forward placing his lips on hers kissing her hungrily.
He pulled away. ‘I’m glad you came into the club that night, and I’m going to make your stay a happy one.’
~
Alena woke tied once again to the bed. His nails slashed across her body, she flinched as his nails sliced back and forth across her flesh. Was he trying to kill her? Or was he just trying to push her to see how much pain she could endure.
He looked at her before he turned the bed, it spun once, her face looking at the floor beneath her. His nails slicing through her flesh once again she flinched in pain, but held back her tears. He spun the bed back untying her.
She looked at him. ‘I thought that you said you’d make my stay a happy one.’
‘And I am am I not?’
‘Call this happy?’
‘Call this fun.’
‘You’re sick.’
'So you told me. Now come.’ He said placing his hand out in front of him.
'Where are we going?’
‘Down to the club.’
‘Like this?’
‘I’m sure no one will notice.’
‘No thanks.’
‘Tomorrow then?’
‘If I can walk.’
He placed his hand on her face. ‘If you can not walk I shall carry you.’
He leaned forward placing his lips on hers kissing her.
He pulled away. ‘I’ll see you when I return.’
She smiled politely. He pulled himself up off the bed, and walked out of the room.
The door closed behind him. Alyna lay silent too scared to shed a tear.
‘What are you doing to her up there?’
‘Nothing why?’
‘The floorboards seemed to be shaking an awful lot.’
‘A man needs his perks.’
‘But you’re not any ordinary man are you X?’
He smiled evilly.
