My name is Kate Lance and I live in a normal and happy family(at least that what I thought back then) with my beautiful mother, a handsome father, a cute little sister named Yumi Lance and also have a stupid elder brother named Kelvin Lance. I live in a small and beautiful village named Denzu . Oh yes! I am 11 years old and study in the local school, also I have a best friend named Keli(that’s what she had asked me to call her back then).

As I had woken up for a new day in the small yet spacious house of mine, loud came the scream of a certain idiot I know, “HAPPY BIRTHDAY YOU SLEEPING JACKASS.” There entered a dark skinned, yellow haired and sharp teethed figure in front of me barging into my room and I stared at him in my blurred sight, which occurred due to sudden waking up from my good sleep. Without giving any response I kept staring.

“Hey Jackass, how long will ya sleep, you might as well become a panda and sleep and enjoy for your lifetime.” said Kelvin. Then came a cute and shrilly voice from a cute little black haired girl, “Ahhhh! Brother Kelvin please do not disturb brother Kate’s sleep.” Said my little sister Yumi.

Yumi was 2 years younger than me while Kelvin was 1 year older than me but Yumi was always adores me while is always against Kelvin, and Kelvin was the type to always do as he pleases and a complete air headed but he was also very friendly, even though sometimes he might become a complete hypocrite.

“Hey little idiotic caretaker of my Jackass brother, can you not see today is his birthday and he is still snoring out so loud in the morning 10 am.” Kelvin teased Yumi.

Yumi’s face was red all over. “ How dare you to tease me like that and speak bad of big brother Kate, he is not someone like you and he is always too much caring to other, certainly not like a good for nothing someone named Kelvin here." now, there it came. Yeah, Yumi would always call Kelvin from his real name whenever angry and Kelvin would gonna start teasing her endlessly for that.

“What do ya say? Don’t you know that you are actually the one falling under that category, you stinky, mad kitten “ Kelvin started to tease Yumi.

“Hmph, you dirty poop eating street dog, don’t you dare use fowl words against me.” Shouted Yumi, even though she was the one who used fowl words.

“Don’t you know how to give me at least a little face you mad kitten?!!”

“Aarrgg, who will give face to a mad dog like you?”

Then as the fight between them became fierce, I had to interrupt, “Hey, both of you, do you not have got any other work to do other than barging into my room early in the morning and starting a fight out of the blue???!!!!”

“Now that you already came in my room without my permissions, then I hope both of you are ready to receive your penalty?” Then I went on to open one of my drawer and took out a super jet water gun.

“Oh dear Kate!! Pls don’t be like this, I am your elder brother and I had just come to wish you a Happy Birthday on this special occasion and have a little fun with ya. Hehehehe!” said Kelvin in a frivolous tone.

“Brother Kate, I just came to teach this nasty Kelvin a lesson for he was going to your room with a very very ugly smile and I knew that he was up to no good. So please spare this little cute sister of yours.” said Yumi in a scared tone.

“Heyyy!!!!” screamed Kelvin.

As I was loading water with chillies, I interrupted, “Oh I see then...” Both of them gave a sigh of relief as of thinking that they were spared. Then I started to fire the gun and shouted, “Regardless for the reasons, none shall be spared today!!! Hahahaha!!!!!!” Both Kelvin and Yumi were drenched and they both screamed with tears as the effect of chilli took place.

Then came the elegant and motherly voice of mother, “All right everyone enough of it come down to have your breakfast or else it will get cold and Happy Birthday Kate, come down quick and brush your teeth, I made your favourite today.” My mother had white, plale and smooth skin with dark yellow hair and young look. She was quite beautiful young despite her age.

As I heard the word favourite, I rushed down the bathroom and finished my brushing in just the blink of an eye.

Then I rushed to the dining table, as usually there sat a light dark skinned figure with black and smooth hair reading a local newpaper, it was my dad. He said casually, “ Hey don’t rush stinky brat, today’s your birthday, wait for the others, no one’s gonna eat your share.”

“Hmph, says who, the biggest eater of the world?” I said as he had started to tease me.

“Hey kid, is that how should you be talking to your dad?” he said in a casually angry voice.

“Stop it you both, it’s Kate’s Birthday, don’t make too much of a fuss here.” Interrupted mother.

Then the food was served and my brother and sister came to the dining table for breakfast. Everyone started to dig in the breakfast. There was omlet, boiled eggs for my little sister and chicken drumsticks, noodles and rolls with cream cakes. These were my favourite food.

With this came a peaceful end of my breakfast. Eventhough it's my birthday it feels the same as usual and I like it to be this way forever.

Author's note: Hey guys, as this is my first time making my own novel, I would prefer suggestions of my works and ways to improve it if any. also pls note that there isn't going to be any particular date on which this chapters will be released but there will most probably one or even two or more chapters per week unless this certain author who's typing this text faces any major issues.

Then after the breakfast was over everybody became busy in their own work and Yumi laid her head on my legs ,as I was sitting and she enjoyed her nap happily. Then as I saw the time, it was 11 am already. I then remembered that I had to visit my best friend, Keli. Then I told Yumi, “Hey get up I have to go now to have a visit to my friend near the field."

Then Yumi replied in half asleep state, “Rait naw~?”

“Yes, now.” I replied.

Then Yumi got off her head from my legs and too out a pillow to have another round of nap.

I prepared myself and went to the large tree near the forest area where the field was and as usually waiting for my best friend Keli. Then came a figure from a distant view, it was a beautiful girl of my age with black hair, medium skinned with sharp eye and a happy childish look, it was Keli my best friend.

“Hey Kate, why do you always come so early??!!!” she said in a tired yet girlish tone.

“Well not my problem it always you who is usually late after all!” I replied.

Then as usually we enjoyed ourselves playing around and having fun around the area near the forest, but would usually avoid a certain area which was the prohibited area of the village and we were denied to visit it.

It was already about to be evening. She asked, “Hey why are you so energetic today?”

“Could say that today’s my birthday.” I said in a casual and common tone.

“Whaaattt????!!!!” she screamed out.

“Today’s your birthday and you didn’t even inform me about it?”

“Well what’s so special about it?”

“It is indeed a special occasion!” She said bustling with anger.

I replied teasingly to it, “Ok my bad, I am sorry milady.”

“Ah! Stop it already idiot, I am not in the mood to be teased. Hah! If only you could have informed me earlier.” Keli said making a swollen face.

“Ok, ok don’t get mad, next time I will inform you for sure.” I replied seeing her angry expression.

“But you can come to my home tonight, there’s going to be a party.” I said.

“Really??” She asked with excitement. “Then I will sure come by.” She was happy and joyous.

As we were talking, figures from the from the meadows started to appear. There was a fat kid with short hair and face of a rich kid along with another girl who was wearing rich accessories and was dark skinned with large bushy white hair. They both had bodyguards around them wearing weird black cloak.

“So here you went to hiding every day at this hour you bitch.” said the fat boy. “Hmph, playing out and having fun with a lowly common village boy, even though you have a very low position in the family, at list don’t tarnish the name of the family.” said the girl.

“With whom I play with is none of yours concern, and don’t talk bad of Kate, he is my best friend and not some lowly, hypocrite like you both” She spoke out angrily but hesitantly.

I was unable to understand the situation so I had thought to better keep myself quiet and watch what was to occur. This indeed was a big mistake.

“Oh! Is it, you bitch!!!” shouted the fat kid.

“Knock this villager out and take him with us!!” the kid ordered the guards.

“No you can’t do this Tanze and Lena!!” Keli said furiously. “If you got a problem with me than deal with me don’t involve my friend into this.

“Oh you truly have grown a liking to this disgusting creature, you slut. The more of the reason to dispose of him.”

I started stepping back but one of the guards chanted something and I was unable to stand and fell unconscious and as I was falling unconscious, I heard the the last few voices.

“Nooo!!!” Keli was shouting and trying to approach me but then the other girl named Lena interrupted, “Remain still if you know what’s good for that brother of yours.”

Then Keli froze and cried bitterly, “I... I am... so-rry”

I was unable to understand anything at that moment. Then after I woke up I saw Keli with the other two kids and the guards around. Keli’s face was blank and all the cheerful spirit that used to be there on her face was gone and other two kids we giving out evil grin.

Then said the fat kid named Tanze, “Bitch, if you know what is good for you than just finish off with it already and your long wanted wish to cure that old hag will be granted”

I tried to move but my legs and hands were tied tightly with weird ropes. “Don’t try wasting your energy you hypocritical mad villager, this is a rope made from nether rock, even if you try for your entire life time, someone like you won’t be able to ever break out of it. It truly is your bad luck to get involved with this slut. Hehehe!” said Lena.

““Keli... is not a slut... sh-she is my best fr-friend. Don’t talk ill of her.” I spoke with tiredness as I had almost not energy in me due to unknown reason.

“Oh, is it so, what a cherishing friendship. Hehehehe, then let’s see if she would keep her end of friendship.” Said Tanze with an evil laughter.

Then I turned towards Keli, tears roll out of her eyes and flowed through her cheeks and she murmured, “I-I... am tr-truly s-sorry K-K-Kate. I really... am!”

Then she dragged me with the rope and took to the edge of the land, I was unable to recognise this land structure and had never seen it.

“You must have known about right, after all this is the forbidden area your parents might have always talk of to never visit to.” Said Tanze. “And this cliff is known as the endless abyss, you might not know, but the depth of the land below is unknown. Hehehehehe!!” said Lena.

Then I hesitated with fear and struggled. Then I pleaded, “Keli.. p-please, we are b-best friends... right?!!!”

“I am... truly sorry. It’s the only way... to save mom. I.. hope you understand.” she replied in broken voice which was caused by over crying.

"Let's... t-to be good f-friends in next l-life."

Then with a strong pull was thrown into the abyss by my very best friend. This was the first time that I had ever faced betrayal in my life.

At that moment the hymns of the birds were interrupted by the screams of the crow, the sun was getting eaten by the distant horizon. The scream of mine could heard loud and clear through the distant land and the entire upper world was cut off from me that moment. It was something unimaginable yet something which felt like fate. I was not able to decipher what it was like as I kept on screaming that moment but yet my thoughts kept on pondering if this was the end, or a new beginning and why my very own best friend betrayed me. But there were two things I could feel and, i.e., pain and hatered.

Also I will not be able to get myself a suitable coverage for now, sorry for inconvenience. I know I am not that good of a author but still I am trying my best.

“In the radiance of the pure white all around

All round, there is nothing to be sighted, it’s not like that everything around has gone dark or blackened out, it’s just that everything was all white and somehow I could feel that all my desires and satisfactions have been fulfilled. I was not able to understand anything but it was a fact too that I had no desire to understand it too. 

Then out of a sudden my head started to ache tremendously and some memories pop into my head. There were 7 familiar dark humanoid figures having a fight against a giant black dragon type monster in front of me and I was getting dragged by a beautiful lady with white hair and unsightable face.

“Crap! Why did the final level had to be an indestructible immortal?” one of the dark figures shouted while fighting with his bare hands and released a type of energy wave at the creature but it did not seem to give any damage to the creature.

All the figures were somewhat familiar to me yet I was not able to decipher who they were.

“If it weren’t for the restrictions on the leader, even if this god damn lizard was an eternal existence, he would have been perished in a few moments worth of while.” the voice was that of a female and she turned into a fierce wolf like creature the next moment and started to attack with its sharp canine and sword sized huge nails but was tossed away by the dragon in a single hit of its tail.

“Stop complaining and keep fighting! we have to keep the Chaos dragon as much as busy as possible, so that leader could escape along with Yuni. If the leader is safe then there still is hope for our world, Gaza... leader is the only one who could change the outcomes and protect our world. Keep going Yuni if leader reaches the exit, then it will be our victory.” this was another female’s voice but the voice was childish in nature.

The moment after that, the dragon became more furious and it killed 5 of them in an instance with a single breath of dark coloured particles.

“Its going to be fine, all will be fine just don’t watch back dear.” said the woman by my side who was dragging me towards a portal and also crying bitterly with tears all over.

All of a sudden I had began to scream at that time and cried with blood red tears as if I had lost something very precious and important to my heart. “They... were my comrades”, the words appeared in my head out of the blue.

Then, that dragon started to fly at a tremendous speed and was just about to catch up with me, but soon enough that white haired girl named Yuni gripped me hard and threw me towards the portal and then the dragon attacked at me with his weird breath but before the dark particles could reach me I had already reached the portal and everything around stopped.

My heart was shattered and I was feeling uneasy and it was aching all around, not my body, but my soul. The experience of this feeling was too awful yet I was not able to understand anything and could not get what was to it at all. But all I could think is that, I will take revenge of this humiliation and suffering soon enough. Then all of a sudden came the knowledge out of a blue in my brain that this feeling is called pain and I found myself back in that pure white place again.

However, the moment I returned back to the white world I had already by that time almost forgotten most of the parts of this memory except for one single thing, “I am the only hope for our world of Gaza.”

Then I began to ponder into my thoughts and had various questions inside my head to which I needed answers: Who I am? Where I am? Why I am here? What was that memory? Who were they? Why am I here? WHAT AM I???

When I was in between my thoughts, out of thin air, came out a dark ball right in front of me. It was the only thing that I could sight in this pure white world and the only thing which I could differentiate from white. It seemed to be absorbing the white all around me.

All of a sudden my hands started to move involuntarily and overtime touched the black ball like thing. Then there it came, all the forgotten memories that I had until the day I was betrayed by my very bestfriend come into my mind. The memories were blur and were in fragments but still I could recall, all the pain and suffering that I had back then just because of that so called friend.

Then the next moment the entire world become dark and I could see no more the white around, even though the feeling of dissatisfaction came out, even though the requirement for necessity came and the feeling of incomplete blundered me, it felt somewhat comfortable than the area where white was all round everywhere.

Then the feeling around changed again and it felt as if my eyes closed and I need to open my eyes, and so I did it. The moment I opened the eyes, it was the night time and there was the sound of the crickets from the back, where there was the forest, the left to me was a strange yet familiar meadow and to the front was a deep pit and even though I knew it’s name a few moments ago, I seemed to have forgotten the name. All that I could remember was that it was the place where I was betrayed. Towards the right was... the direction of the village as I could recall. “M-my... h-h-home” I murmured in tired voice as my throat was dried out.

Then I got up, my clothes were ragged and tight, there were dust and scratches on my skin and it ached all over for just doing a little movement, as if I had been lying there for a long time. 

The smell of the air around and the noise of the cricket, was refreshing and it felt like home. The I shouted with my heart’s content, “I FINALLY RETURNED!!!!”

Tears rolled over my cheeks and I felt happy. I cherished this happiness as if I had not been happy for a long time. Then I continued on the path to the village slowly and through the help of the support of a wooden stick lying next to me as my body was aching all around, making me unable to move properly.

Now I had the desire to reach my home and to be with my family as I felt that they might be worried about me and also I feel like it might have been some time by now, since the last time I had united with them.
