Walking out of the airport karen stretched out her long slender arms and her bag on her side. She has a waist lond blonde hair that is tied loosely on her back. She wears a white shirt and jeans. With her tall figure she only needs to wear a pair of sports shoes and black shades she'll look like a refined, easygoing, handsome young man.

'Yes this is it with this disguise nobody will know I'm a woman.' karen thought looking proudly at her reflection on a glass wall beside her. Her chest was flat due to her skillful wrapping.

The airport was filled with people and the road was full of cars passing and stopping one at a time. It was quite lively with all the laughter and whispers at every corner. Marching her way to hail a taxi beside the road the view of the place was magnificent and she stopped to take a look. A moment later a charming smile broke across her perfect face.

'So this is the legendary country L where my father found my mom huh? they kept boasting about their love story when my father's family did not like my mom and how they went through life and death here together. Oh how cheesy just thinking about it makes me shiver all over.' karen thought rubbing her arms.

Snapping out of her thoughts she found an old man coming to her spot but was pushed by two middle age man who was fighting one another.

"young man do you need a lift? I can drive you to your destination." the bald man asked giving his best smile that he could muster while rubbing his hands together.

"hey! I saw him first back off!" a fat man yelled at the bald man and looked at me from head to toe and said "listen here young man don't get fooled by this baldy over here his car is dirty and old you don't want to ride on his car. I have a better one it's clean and new a perfect ride for a perfect young man as yourself. What do you say? hmm?" the fat man said praising me as much as he could with a smile showing his yellowish teeth. The bald man was offended and started punching the fat man. like any other if someone punches you, you punch back. Now both the middle age man was fighting each other and insulting at the same time.

karen who doesn't give a dang about them walked away as if she saw nothing and approached the old man who turned around to leave after getting pushed earlier.

"sir, can you give me a ride? I just arrived and I don't have someone I know who lives here. I'm kinda scared of getting scammed like in my previous travels so it would be great if you can help me. you look like a very nice person." karen spoke in a voice that belongs to an easygoing young man as herself.

The old man was a bit surprised by the voice and turned around to see the tall young man smiling at him. In the beginning the old man was nervous but when he saw the young man's smile before him he felt relaxed and unconsciously gave out a genuine smile. Seeing the young man's gentle approach, he did not feel disgusted like how a fake lady would help him just to get attention from someone. He felt that this young man before him gives out a feeling of reassurance and respect.

Being a taxi driver for many years now he knows a thing or two about the new generations attitude especially here in the capital. Today he felt pure kindness and respect for an old man like him.

Seeing that he's not responding karen got a bit worried and asked reaching her hands out to hold the elder "sir are you alright? does anywhere hurts?"

Waking up from his thoughts he shook his head and held the outstretched hand of the young man before him and said"thank you for your kindness young one but Im alright come come I'll give you a ride where do you want to go? do you want me to help you find a place to stay? as you said you might get scammed but don't worry im not a bad old man..." he talked all the way from recommending some great views to visit here in L country to every bit of detail that a citizen of this country should know about. He even took a detour on the way to a hotel just to show some places along the way.

"thanks for the tour sir. How much will I pay for the ride and your wonderful advertising?" karen asked as she chuckled warmly.

Hearing the young man's comment the old man flushed red as he looked away and said"young man you shouldn't embarrass an old man! now get going. It's late and you must be tired from the flight. The ride is on me no need to pay."

"gramps, I don't like cheating old people. Here just take this as my payment for the tour like ride. I enjoyed it very much thank you." karen said putting 3,000 cash on the old man's palms. Freezing on his seat the old man looked troubled and wanted to complain but karen insisted on taking the money.

"young man you know this is too much but seeing you insist on it then I will gladly receive." the old man spoke gently and thanked him before waving good bye after all everyone works hard to earn money.

Walking in the hotel karen spoke with the receptionist and went in the elevator pressing the 3rd floor button upon arriving she opened the door to her room and went in. The room was ordinary a window beside the bed, washroom to the other side and a flat screen TV on front. She took a bath and immediately jumped on the bed as she was really tired.

After waking up karen got out of the bed and took a hot shower. It was past six in the morning so she decided to eat breakfast after looking for a job.

Because she likes to travel the world and eat around she built her own intelligence company called Red Scarf and opened restaurants around the world named Black Shades.

The Red Scarf mainly gives information about the best places to go to around the world and if you want to be recommended by the Red Scarf company then a business proposal is needed to cooperate with them.

Even though Red Scarf is a legal company they have different shady Intel which even the police go to pay for information about a case or two. Want to put them to jail for not reporting to the officers? dream on! in their world as a legal private intelligence company Red Scarf have the rights on what to do with the information they've collected on their own.

Ranking all the intelligence companies around the whole world Red Scarf comes in second to none despite the company being a new founded company, well at least at the face of the other companies who were built for fifty or so years thinks that Red Scarf is still young. In just ten years Red Scarf grew dramatically from a small agency to a leading international intelligence company.

Now the founder of the mysterious Red Scarf and owner of the famous Black shades is looking for a job again like how she used to back in her previous travels. As a person who lived two lives, the first life, her being too workaholic and now the second, a lady that can change from a very energetic to a lazy as hell person. In her second life she still works but alowed herself to be lazy.

Walking out of the hotel the sun is already on the sky and the streets are busy with people walking at the distance. Karen wears a plain light blue shirt and black short and as usual she hid her chest perfectly. She tied her hair loosely at her back and wears a golden colored wrist watch.

'now where should I work? is there a chain Black Shades restaurant here?' she thought and picked her phone from her pocket.

"hey, it's me, do I own a restaurant here in L country?" karen asked the man on the phone.

"L country? hold up, I'm gonna check....... oh, yeah its at the center square. Do you plan to take over? I'll call the man in charge."

"yep, thanks. I plan to stay here for a while how's headquarters doing?" she asked and went in a taxi "center square please."

"there is no problem boss. I thought you were in D country just a month ago how come your at L country?"

"haha, I got bored there and decided to move to L country. Don't worry I'll send some files regarding the D country's Intel and some business proposals. Oh do you want me to send pictures? it was quite pretty there."

"sure, deliver me some souvenirs too!"

" ok. I'm hanging up. bye Lee."karen said and hanged up. Walking out of the car she payed and went straight to Black Shades restaurant.

"Good morning sir may I help you?"a waiter asked politely.

"hmm. Call me the man in charge please." karen said remembering that she's wearing her perfect disguise as a man.

"uhh... sir, is there something wrong? maybe I can help..."

"nah... just call your boss please." karen said and sat lazily in a chair nearby.

"oh... yes sir please wait a moment." the girl said and rushed to her boss. A while later the girl came back with a worried face.

"sir, the boss said... said..... s - scram..." the girl was quite troubled and wanted to explain but karen stopped her with her question.

"scram?" karen asked and chuckled wiping the invincible tear of her face then picked her phone.

"hey, the boss here told me to scram. What should I do? oh I am so sad my heart aches." she said in a pitiful voice.

"what?! hold on I'll go fire him right now! how dare he say scram to you? he sure is tired of living!" Lee said with anger and shouted at his subordinates ordering them here and there. karen who's listening the whole time felt sorry for Lee's subordinates and mentally noted to give them some souvenirs too. After a while everything is settled and she sat on her new office.

"ah... nice chair." she said lazily.

"... uhh.... I....I'm sorry! please forgive me!" the ex boss cried pitifully.

"...... scram before I roast you alive. I'm not letting you go because you apologized I'm letting you live for taking care of my restaurant."

"ye - yes sir! thank you for your mercy!"the ex boss said and left hurriedly afraid that the boss will change his mind.

'now that that's settled I should go find myself a car..... no wait, it will only attract unnecessary attention... but it's hard to always hail a ride and I don't usually carry changes with me. This is troublesome. What should I do?' karen thought rubbing her chin.

'aha! I know!' She took her phone out and dialed a number.

"hello, it's me again I just wanted to ask. Do normal people have a car?"

"...... what kind of question is that? boss, I know your not busy but I am and I don't understand questions like yours so ask gray about this things he may have a few answers to that."

"come on, I'm busy too ok? don't get mad and gray? I accidentally deleted his number...."

"..... so that's why... anyways in my opinion you should buy a car if you want to keep low key then buy a less expensive car. bye boss." Lee said and hanged up.

"awww, you still answered my question in the end."

Karen walked out of the restaurant after finishing her work. looking at her watch it was ten in the morning, its still early so she placed her hands in her pockets and decided to walk her way to buy a-not-so-attractive car. along the way whispers and giggles of the young girls could be heard.

"look at that man he's so handsome!"

"I know right? his hair is so long like in the movies! so handsome!!!"

"tehee... I wanna marry him!"

"hahaha... dream on! such a perfect guy won't match you."

"I was kidding ok?"

From time to time people tried to peek at her and karen, not understanding why they do so just gave them her usual smile. What she doesn't know is that the more she smiled at the people passing by the more she gets popular even making the man earlier bleed his nose. It doesn't matter if she pretends to be a man what matters is even if she is a man lots of men would have nosebleed as long as she smiles at them don't mention the ladies they'll probably faint on the spot.

Passing by a camera shop karen decided to buy a new one since her old one was accidentally smashed into pieces.

"Good morning sir, may I help you?" a man asked politely.

"hmm. I'm looking for a good camera."

"oh, then let me introduce some new models..."the man gladly showed the most techi and expensive one in the shop after looking at the man's appearance before him. after an hour of choosing karen bought a black colored camera with different features.

"wow such a nice camera I can take pictures with this and send them to my babies at the headquarter." speaking of babies karen meant her subordinates but then it was too late, the people who heard her thought that she's married and has children. living two lives she can find the oldest person alive and she's still a few decades older so she considers everyone in the headquarters her babies.

Snapping here and there she was glad that she bought a camera.

'Oh my babies wait till I snap a hundred more and I'll send these right away ' karen thought and was walking blindly with a smile. later on she found herself in a remote street.

"what the..... where am I? how did I get here?"looking back at the pictures she snapped. Now she understood that she went on the wrong path.

"jeez... let's go back- just as she was about to turn around a man bumped into her that cut her sentence.

"hey watch where your going! can't you use your eyes to- she then again was stopped by the shock when she looked at the bloodied figure sitting on the ground.

He was holding his stomach as blood gushed out. It was clearly a gun wound and he was shot at his right arm as well. He can barely stand properly much less walk.

He looked at karen coldly and started walking away. Not far behind voices could be heard.

"hurry he can't run that far! catch him!!"

"don't worry boss I shot him on his stomach."

"don't worry? he killed half of my men! if I don't kill him how can I get the money?!"

'now everything is clear now they were after the man that bumped into me. If I don't help him they'll surely catch him but so what? he stared at me so coldly.........' karen thought with a serious look on her face. looking at the limping man ahead she couldn't help but sigh in defeat. In her first life, as a person who served the people in her whole life she couldn't ignore something that she had seen or it would go against her morals.

"Thank me later."karen spoke and grabs the left arm putting it around her neck although she is tall the man beside her was taller. Karen pressed the wound on the man's stomach and held him on his waist. With this they walked fast. The man remained silent and kept staring at karen.

"Don't stare. It's uncomfortable."karen said and concentrated on walking but the men that are after him can run so she's definitely doomed.

"there he is! he is with someone hurry!"

"jeez...... I wish I never saw you now they're after me too. hurry up or I'll probably never see the daylights again." karen said with worry and gripped the man tightly moving a bit faster this time.

Sky looked at the man holding him and said. "leave." he didn't think much but then what he heard next was unbelievable.

"what leave? are you an idiot or something? if I leave you'll surely die. Besides my conscience will kill me if I leave." in this situation everyone would take the chance to leave but karen is different. She glared at sky, gritted her teeth and tightened her grip on him.

Bang!

Bang, bang!

As soon as gun shots were heard karen pulled sky to a corner and covered him with her body. She buried sky's head in her shoulder as she held one hand on his head and the other on the wall. For a person who is old inside she naturally considered every human on earth as her grandchildrens so she doesn't feel ashamed of hugging someone but it's naturally different for the others.

Sky could smell a natural sweet scent from karen 's shoulder and thought 'as a man how can he smell like this?' realizing that that was not the point he struggled to raise his head but was firmly pressed by karen.

Sky was a very cold man who speaks less and is hard to read as a proud man how can he let a man hug him?!
