So they began to make rumors again... Luckily he has Jiang Cheng who is willing to sacrifice his life for him... Of course the latter would think the same...

The love that began in the most unexpected way...

Wei Ying or Wei Wuxian is a girl in a sense because she can give birth but her physique is similar to that of a man... But a bit more feminine. Let's just say that they look like flat chested girls... ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°) Mo Xuanyu also has the same features of Wei Ying... Nie Huaisang too is one of these peeps...

I hope this helps...

Also the Jiangs already knew it but they decided to hide it from outsiders because of some unknown reason... Which will be further explained in the following chapters...

*The Important Matter

"Congratulations Sect Leader Nie to your successful revenge"

"Ah yes who would have thought that you were the one behind all of it"

"That Jin Guangyao deserved it!"

A few clan leaders congratulated the young Sect Leader, Nie Huaisang. Who was quite uncomfortable hearing such words, when only a few days ago they were the ones mocking him for having such a bird brain. He knew they had ulterior motives...

Nie Huaisang just smiled at them though the smile was a bit cramped though unnoticeable thanks to Jin Guangyao... He shifted his gaze to the side and found Lan Xichen and Jiang Cheng staring at him. After making eye contact with him for a few seconds, they ignored him and left the hall.

"Please fellow Clan Leaders excuse me for a moment, please inform my trusted advisor, Su Shang, if you need something... I need to do something important, forgive me for being a bad host I'll make it up to you next time" he excused himself and gave them a salute.

He then went towards the way where Lan Xichen and Jiang Cheng went to give them an explanation and to apologize... But did he do something wrong?

He followed them carefully until they reached the forest...

"Sec-"

"We all know Jin Guangyao is an important companion of yours but he should know the consequences of doing such things" Jiang Cheng told Lan Xichen

Now he knew why he was feeling guilty... Well not really.

Nie Huaisang quickly hid behind the tree so as to not bother them and attempted to leave when he heard...

"I know... But how can he just let Mo Xuanyu sacrifice his own body for the sake of his revenge? Isn't that a bit too excessive?" Lan Xichen reasoned

"I don't know but if I were in his shoes maybe I'll do it" Jiang Cheng sighed

"Hmm maybe..." Lan Xichen agreed

"Atleast now he's enjoying the fame given to him" Jiang Cheng mumbled but Nie Huaisang can still hear it... Which made him look fastly at their direction.

"Is he? I thought he was uncomfortable" Lan Xichen pointed out and the two started walking towards his direction

The one behind the tree decided to make his presence known by stepping on a branch. The two moved their heads to his direction and prepared to unsheathe their swords.

"Aiyo Second Brother! Jiang-xiong! I've been looking for you for a long time" he greeted them happily and waved his hand

Lan Xichen smiled gently to the young Sect Leader and thought 'Everyone has reasons... This kid lost his one and only family he must've been heart broken how can he still pretend.'

Jiang Cheng on the other hand unsheathed his sword and ignored Nie Huaisang giving him the cold shoulder... Huaisang ignored it, he shrugged his shoulders and continued to walk towards them.

"Why did you leave all of a sudden after making eye contact with me a while ago?" he pouted which made the oldest (Lan Xichen) laugh and patted his head.

"We didn't find any means to stay there besides you were too busy" the eldest explained

"You could've got me out of that situation second brother who knows what kind of plots are they harboring this time" he muttered.

Jiang Cheng looked at the small guy beside him and shook his head...

"They indeed are thinking of using you... Don't be easily persuaded" Jiang Cheng warned the small guy.

The smallest turned to him and walked closer to him.

"Of course I won't! Have you forgotten 'who was the one that fooled everyone?' Heh even a dog can sense that something is wrong" he mimicked the Clan Leaders' sugar coated words.

"Aiyo! Jiang Cheng, Brother in law, and Huaisang! What kind of secrets are you saying to each other that you have to leave in such a hurry" Wei Wuxian came with her husband, Lan Zhan

The two were greeted gently by Lan Xichen, playfully by Nie Huaisang, and sassily by Jiang Cheng...

"Would it kill you to be polite just for once?" Wei Wuxian said as she put her arms around Jiang Cheng's neck

"Your husband might kill me if he sees this! Act properly Yiling Matriarch or I'll break your legs! I still cherish my life!" Jiang Cheng said as he struggled to remove his adopted sister's arm.

Wei Wuxian laughed and removed her arm on Jiang Cheng's neck, she went to her husband and held his hand while smiling goofily at him... The group chatted some more until Nie Huaisang sneakily went away to look for his self-made koi pond...

"Hmm... Why don't you find a wife Wanyin?" Wei Ying suddenly blurted

"What the HELL????" Jiang Cheng exclaimed in disbelief

Lan Xichen also looked at Jiang Cheng and thought for some time... Until a great idea was formed in his mind.

"What do you think of Nie Huaisang?" Lan Xichen inquisitively asked.

Meanwhile in the Koi Pond

"Ah-choo! Aiyo! Who's cursing me this time?" Nie Huaisang said as he fed the fish

Back to Lan Xichen

"..."

"Oh right where is Huaisang?" Wei Ying suddenly asked

"Wasn't he..." Jiang Cheng looked to his side.

His eyes went wide when he didn't find Huaisang...

"It can't be he's lost in his own forest, right?" Wei Ying as-a-matter-of-factly said.

Jiang Cheng wasted no time and quickly looked for Huaisang... Ignoring the calls of his annoyingly chatty adopted older sister who also followed him along with her husband and brother in law.

"Humph! What's so good about being a Sect Leader... Even want me to become a Chief Cultivator. No way!" Nie Huaisang was heard from a distance while he kept feeding the poor bloated koi

"Huaisang! Why didn't you tell us there's a koi pond over here?!" Wei Ying exclaimed happily joining Nie Huaisang.

Jiang Cheng sighed in relief and turned to the side only to find out that he was being stared at by the Twin Jades of Lan... One was stoic but the curiosity in his eyes were noticeable while the other one was gentle, curious, and somehow he looked like he knew what was going on.

"What are you looking at?" Jiang Cheng asked nervously

"Hmm... This is the first time I've seen Sect Leader Jiang being worried about someone other than Jin Ling..." Lan Xichen teased while Lan Wangji nodded in agreement.

"Zewu-Jun you..." Jiang Cheng pointed his finger at Lan Xichen but then later on withdrew his hand and stomped his feet against the ground and pouted angrily.

"Wei Ying I've always wanted to ask you... Why did you pretend to be a boy before? I even helped sneak some porn books... How unlady like" Huaisang criticized his friend.

"Don't be like that... When Uncle Jiang adopted me I was already dressing up as a boy they didn't even know that I was a girl... There are alot of benefits actually when pretending to be a boy... One of them is how I found Lan Zhan and also sneaking  porn books... " We Ying bumped his shoulder to Nie Huaisang as he explained as they both laughed.

It's sounds reasonable Nie Huaisang thought

"Clan Leader! Clan Leader! Report!" one Sect Nie Disciple shouted.

Nie Huaisang got up from the ground dusting off some dirt off of his clothes and ran towards the running disciple...

"What happened speak clearly!" he demanded.

"Someone came and spread rumors about you plotting against your own brother... And... And..." the disciple rambled.

"And what?!" he clenched his fists

"And that you killed Jin Guangyao to eliminate the evidence" the disciple continued

"Who was it? Lead the way" he ordered

Jiang Cheng held his wrists and asked him what's wrong so he told them the details... In the end all of them went with Nie Huaisang to solve some Important Matters...

*Rumors

"Sect Leader Nie arrives!!" the disciple who informed Nie Huaisang announced his arrival.

As always his arrival was and is always graceful and elegant... His loosed strands of hair carefully swaying and brushing his cheeks slightly after pushing it elegantly behind his ear, on one hand he opened and fanned his fan gently...

"I came here as soon as I heard that someone's trying to create troubles for me" he told them while smiling

The others who are too dumbstrucked when they saw Nie Huaisang's striking arrival and spaced out for a good few seconds and started to stutter for they were lost in thought and lost for words...

"May I know your name sir?" he asked the one who's framing him causing it to wake up from his daydream

"M-my n-name is Zhang Jun, Sect Leader Nie" the man answered as he bowed

The man was wearing cream colored robes and his hair was tied into a high ponytail, his looks were not too shabby but it is surely not the one who can surpass his...

"No need for formalities since you came here to taint my name... Do you think you still have to act polite in front of me? Speak!" Nie Huaisang spoke as he smiled, the smile that can make you have goosebumps.

The man stood up his shoulders shaking...

"I... I..." he stuttered

"What I? Stop wasting our time, just tell us what you've been telling others earlier so you can get your work done the earlier the better" Wei Ying intercepted

Lan Wangji as the Chief Cultivator just watched and supported his wife's nagging... Zhang Jun lips however is tightly sealed.

"Since he won't speak why don't you all tell me what exactly happened? Word for word..." Nie Huaisang commanded as he folded his fan. Tapping its tip on the palm of his other hand.

The other clan leaders rushed to speak but it was so confusing having so many people speak at the same time so he just picked a person whom he wanted to talk which is...

"Su Shang saw this person go straight to the throne room where the guests are currently staying and it began to say the words..." Su Shang said while bowing

"Nie Huaisang killed his brother!!! The former Nie Sect Leader, Nie Mingjue also known as the Red Blade Master!!! He schemed his way to get the position of Sect Leader... Used Jin Guangyao to kill his brother and silenced him!!! In order to get the Chief Cultivator position!!!" the man said with much certainty

"How dare you say such words!!!" one said

"Don't say such things when you don't have any evidence! Do you want to die?!!" another said

"Are you mad?!" one argued

"I have the evidence!!" the man raised his hand holding a letter

"That's where it stopped Sect Leader" Su Shang said. Still bowing.

Jiang Cheng, Wei Ying, Lan Zhan, and Lan Xichen were all quite shocked that Nie Huaisang doesn't feel pressured at all and remained calm while fanning himself gently...

This is so unlike him all of them thought.

"Where is the evidence you say?" Nie Huaisang asked Zhang Jun as he looked at him with cold and calm eyes

With trembling hands he gave the so called evidence to Nie Huaisang who in turn took it and read it loudly...

"Meng Yao later 9 PM at your place" Huaisang finished reading

He scanned the back of the letter to look for something else but none was found

"Hmm... You copied my handwriting but you didn't copy the way I write my letters... Why?" Nie Huaisang walked towards his throne, sat and put the letter gently on the table

The others also sat down and waited for an explanation.

"What do you mean Sect Leader Nie, don't you remember me? I'm the messenger you always send when you exchange letters with Jin Guangyao" Zhang Jun spoke fluently

Nie Huaisang took a sip of his tea. It seemed as if this Young Sect Leader can make your hair go up just by sipping his tea. The whole room went awfully quiet and only the sound of the teacup creating a clank as it meet the table was heard.

"But I don't remember you... Are you sure it was me?" Huaisang asked though he didn't look at the accuser.

"Yes... I even brought the gold you bribed me with" Zhang Jun scanned his sleeves and presented everyone the gold

"Ah that's odd, why didn't you use it?" Huaisang interrogated

"I was saving up for my family" the latter answered

"Then why would you present it to me?" Huaisang probed

Zhang Jun remained silent not knowing what to speak and not to speak.

"Answer a few questions of mine... Can you do that?" Huaisang looked at him now.

Zhang Jun nodded confidently...

"At what time do I usually ask you to send letters?"

"An hour before the said time in the letter"

"At what time do I sleep?"

"Uhhh should I know that?"

"What do I always wear?"

"Green Robes with black linings"

"Which quarters do you live?"

"I don't live here"

"How long have you been working with me?"

"About 3 months"

"3 months?"

"Yes"

"Su Shang!" Nie Huaisang suddenly called

"Yes Sect Leader" Su Shang complied although there is a slight tremble in his voice.

"All of his answers are either incorrect or poorly said" Nie Huaisang leaned forward and propped his elbow on the table as he slowly rested his chin on the back of hand. He tapped his fingers on the table using his free hand.

"The first question it depends on my mood that's why some of your requests are still stocked there" Huaisang told the people more specifically the clan leaders as he pointed his finger on the pile of paperwork in his study room

"The second question. All of the servants know what time I sleep, which is..." He looked at Su Shang

"10 PM"

"Third question I always where olive colored robes with gold linings, fourth question I always keep my important, trusted, or anyone who serves me in the place where I will live. Fifth question has the most stupid answer..." he finally got up and walked towards Zhang Jun who is now slowly retreating. His forehead excreted beads of sweat. Knowing very well that he is done for.

"If I schemed with Jin Guangyao to kill my brother... Why do you think I'll keep you and silence Jin Guangyao? Why 3 months when that incident happened 13 years ago?" he kept on pressing Zhang Jun until he confessed

"Forgive me Sect Leader Nie!!! I was bribed to slander you!!! I was blinded by wealth that's why I did this!!! Mercy please mercy!!! I'll never do it again please forgive me!!!" Zhang Jun kowtowed.

With deep breaths Nie Huaisang rubbed his temples and told him to get up...

This guy is a lousy teammate he thought.

"Tell me who sent you" Huaisang calmly asked.

"It... It wa-"

An arrow shot Zhang Jun before he could confess who it was. Alerted Nie Huaisang summoned his blade and attempted to go outside only to be halted Su Shang...

"Mn their main goal was to silence him anyway... Clean him up and interrogate everyone, find the culprit" Nie Huaisang ordered Su Shang. Emphasizing the words CULPRIT. He continued to chat with the other clan leaders as if nothing happened...

"Huaisang! Let's talk for a moment" Wei Ying and his companions called him

He saluted the clan leaders whom he was chatting with and went to the group preparing himself to be bombarded with questions...

"What was that about?" Wei Ying asked

"This is not the place where we should talk about these things" He guided them to his study room and told them the beginning of those rumors.
