Let me tell you how this all happened

story begins (Someone's reading a letter with Taeyeon's POV)

I met Park Jimin when I was just two years old. And growing up, boy, did I hate him. He was always chasing me with frogs or pushing me in the mud. Pulling my braids and name-calling me. It wasn't like I could get away from him either... Not only were we next door neighbors... But my mom was best friends with his dad. As we got older, things started to change... And the months turned into years... We become friends. He started defeating me when other boys would call me names... And instead of pulling my hair, he'd tuck it behind my ear. We'd talk for hours, down by the lake... I'd help him with his homework, and he'd teach me how to fish. And when we were forced to go home... We'd sit by our windows and continue with our conversations. We were inseparable. I don't know when it happened, but... Friendship slowly morphed into love. At least it did for me. I fell so hard for Park Jimin. I was just too afraid to tell him. Until one day...

Taeyeon : Can you believe tommorow is our first day of high school? I feel so old.

Jimin : I know what you mean. It seems like it was just yesterday we were stealing apples from Grady's farm. Do you remember that?

Taeyeon: How could I forget? Or, when we were in 4th grade and you stole Mrs. Bundie's dentures... And brought them in for show-and-tell!

Jimin : I was grounded for weeks! Man we have good memories together... Don't we?

Taeyeon : We do.... It's just... Uhm, nevermind. Anyway, we'll have to talk to the front office to make sure we're in the same lunch shift. We haven't missed lunch together in over 10 years!

Jimin : Deal. But only if you promise not to put pudding down the back of my shirt again!

Taeyeon : Deal.

Jimin : Anyway, how's your mom dealing? She must be emotional.

Taeyeon : You know her too well. This morning I caught her crying over baby pictures of me.

Jimin : Well, her little girl has grown up...And now you're...

Jimin : Uhm... Nothing.

Taeyeon : Hey, I think you got a text. Ugh.. it's Kazama again. He just won't stop texting me.

Jimin : Kazama? Why the hell is he texting you?

Taeyeon : He wants to go on a date now that we're in high school.

Jimin : You can't go out with him!

Taeyeon : I don't want to go out with him. But why couldn't I if I wanted to?!

I tooked a deep breath and..

My eyes were tearing... due to happiness.

The next morning...

Holy crap! I can't even believe that actually happened! I feel like yesterday we were nothing but two kids running around the neighborhood. But I have other things to worry about! What the heck I should wear today? I want to look good.

I have to hurry up, Jimin will be here in 10 minutes.. I better hurry..
