" Dad, Mom look how fast I can run." A girl came running swiftly.

" Slow down baby, you will hurt yourself." A loving voice said. The voice was from Zune.

" Mom, aunt Kiara taught me to vamp run. Its too much fun." the girl sat on Zune's lap.

" Dad, do you love me and mother same like brother?" the girl said holding Kyle's hand.

Kyle wanted to say yes, I love you all but he couldn't speak a word. He felt like someone was grabbing his throat.

" Mom, he doesn't love us. He doesn't need us.Let's go, its not our home." The girl pulled Zune's finger.

Zune stood up with upset face, carried the girl on her lap, carresed her hair and left.

Kyle wanted to stop them but couldn't move. His whole body was frozen and only he could do was see them leaving.

In a moment they disappeared with the bright light of sunlight.

Kyle's heart was beating fast with a slight heartache. He wanted to speak and then let out a loud scream - " Noo, ZUNE!!!! don't leave."

He then opened his eyes with a scream and found himself in his bed. The room was empty and he was all covered with sweat.

His heart was still beating fast.

He then heard a knock on door -

" Kyle?? What happened Kyle, answer the door."

It was Ashley and she was continuosly knocking on the door. Kyle got off his bed and opened the door.

" Kyle what happened? You screamed so loudly, I was so worried and rushed here." Ashley was breathing fast as she came running.

" Ashley I'm fine. Take a breath, I will pour some water." Saying this Kyle brought the bottle and glass and Ashley sat on the couch.

" You dreamt of her again?" Ashley asked Kyle and he paused for a while.

He gave her water and sat beside her grabbing his hair looking down.

" I know you miss her a lot Kyle, So we do but you all don't believe me. For past 3 years I have been repeating again and again that she is alive, we must find her. We didn't get her dead b-"

" Stop it Ashley.." Kyle interrupted. " Its true I miss her, I love her but its also true she didn't think about any of us before jumping into that cliff. Below that cliff is the area of werewolves who hate vampires more than anything. Those hungry werewolf would not spare her life so how could I think about her being alive."

Kyle was fraustrated.

" Kyle, actually its all my fault. I shouldn't have left her in that cave. Kiara was injured as she was no match for Lexa but I could have fought her." the tears rolled down from her eyes.

" Ashley, don't blame yourself now. What's done is done, we can't bring the past again. So think about present. Emrick needs me and for his sake I'm trying to be normal. Don't bring these things up again." Kyle hugged Ashley.

Ashley thought to herself " I know Kyle, you fight with the nightmare daily, the memory of that day haunt you daily, but still you fight with your feelings. This is what you be as a king but I as your sister can't see you like this."

" I dont know if Zune is alive or not but no one knows what happened to her. No one tried to search for the facts that time as we lost lots of vampire army's life and also our friends Rick and Emma."

" For sake of Kyle, Zune and their family, I will search about Zune. I will find about her and other baby because somewhere I'm also responsible for what happened to Zune."

Ashley wiped her tears and left the room while Kyle sat there with fruastration.

Ashley reached her room and sat on the bed. A boy ran to the room crying. Ashley kneeled on the floor and the boy hugged Ashley crying.

" Aunt Ashley,"he was weeping.

" What happened to my Emu? Who hurt you? Just say a name and I will take care of that person." Ashley wipped his tears.

" Aunt, why don't I have my mommy? Kayden has his mommy but why I don't have?" Emrick said weeping.

Ashley hugged him with watery eyes and said " Who said you don't have mommy?? You have your mommy but she is far away and she will come back soon. But you have to be a good boy and stop crying. Otherwise mommy will not come."

The boy wiped his tears with back of his hand and looked at Ashley " See aunt,I wiped away my tears, I will not cry and be a good boy. I want my mommy to come. I want to sit at my mommy's lap just like Kayden sits on aunt Kiara's lap."

" That's like my Emu. Now be a good boy and play. Don't run too fast or you will get hurt."

The boy nodded his head and ran out of room.

Ashley sat on the bed and started to think.. " Where are you Zune? Where should I find you? I refuse to beleive that you are dead. You are a vampire queen with magic, even in your weakness your magic protects you, but noone believes in me."

Ashley let out a deep breath and closed her eyes.

Suddenly she opened her eyes like she realized something. " I have been missing something all these years. I remember I rescued a werewolf in jungle along with Zune. If I find him, he may help me to find about Zune as I owe him a life."

" Why didn't I think of it before?" Ashley grabbed her hair thinking deeply.

" Now I will not listen to anyone. I will find Zune myself. I will find about Emrick's mommy. For sake of Kyle and Emrick I have to do this alone."

Saying this Ashley took out a bag from her closet and started packing the clothes and other necessary things that she might need for her journey.

She also took a gun to use in case of danger. She had everything prepared but she could only leave at night. So she hid everything and waited for night.

When the night came, Ashley was all prepared to escape the palace without letting anyone know. She kept a letter on her nightstand and jumped out of window to make sure she is unseen by the palace guard.

She was afraid that if someone finds out, no one will allow her to go towards the valley of warewolves. She ran through the forest swiftly and as she went through that forest she started to recall the events of past.

She stopped when she reached the cave where Zune gave birth to the twins. She stared at the cave with a flashback in her mind how Zune struggled in her labor pain and how everything went by. The tears rolled from her eyes slowly.

She carresed the walls of cave and said to herself - " Zune I will definately find your whereabouts no matter what."

She then continued her journey and searched for a way to reach the valley. After sometime of searching she found a strange entrance blocked with rocks. With her might, she pushed the rock and saw a narrow tunnel.

It was the tunnel which would end at the valley of warewolves. She gathered up all her courage and slowly moved towards the tunnel. As she went deeper, the tunnel got darker and colder. She kept on moving forward and suddenly slipped on a rock causing her to slide down the steep path.

She landed on the end of tunnel with a bang getting herself some scratches. She stood up brushing off the dust from her body and clothes but when she was about to move forward she heard something move.

She got warned and her hands clutched the gun kept on her belt. She looked around and to her surprise she was surrounded by a pack of warewolves. She took her step backward while the warewolves went forward.

She knew she couldn't fight the wolves if she want to find Zune so she thought it was best decision to run and stay alive. She took out a gun and immediately fired towards sky to frighten off the wolves but they happened to become more furious. They were growling and moving forward.

She had to run from there anyway so she bowed to the ground grabbed handful of sand and threw on the eyes of wolves to escape.

She started to run swiftly but while running her ankle got sprained and then she fell down. She was now again surrounded by the angry warewolves. A wolf jumped to attack her. At this moment she got terrified and closed her eyes thinking she would end up with nothing.

While closing her eyes, she didnt feel anything at all. She slowly opened her eyes and saw a large white warewolf staring at her. She couldnt stand the frightening wolf and screamed loudly closing her eyes.

The warewolf immediately turned into a human form and covered Ashley's mouth with his hand.

" What a noisy thing "

Hearing this Ashley stopped screaming and pushed the human formed warewolf. She stood up,took the gun and pointed at the warewolf.

" Stay away from me." She said.

When the warewolf faced Ashley, she suddenly paused.

" Its you? Wolfy? " Ashley gave a confused expression.

" Have we met somewhere?" the werewolf said with a furrow.

" What an ungrateful creature to forget its saviour." Ashley rolled her eyes and dropped her gun.

The warewolf stood up and looked nicely at her. He frowned his brow and said with a laugh" Now I remember, you are that vampire beauty who saved my life right? What was that I said before? Right..Angry fang!! "

Ashley crossed her arm and said "What's there to laugh at? Is it that funny and don't you dare call me that."

" No not at all. Its just that I couldnt thank you that time but.. see the fate we meet again but in this situation and I wonder what brought you all the way here. By the way you also call me Wolfy." He looked happy.

" No need to thank me. It was just an act of kindness. And about why I came here, theres a long story behind it but in short I was hoping to find you and other person." Ashley said smiling.

" Indeed you came following me? I knew I had that charm." He said laughing.

" I'm not joking. Its serious." Ashley got in temper and he stopped laughing.

" Okay okay..cool down. As you came here, you are my guest now. In my presence no warewolf will hurt you. As you are a vampire and you are in your enemy's territory, you need someone mighty like me to protect you so follow me." He said with a wink.

" You really are proud of yourself." Ashley rolled her eyes and both started walking.

" After all this now, can I know your name? I didnt get chance to know last time also so I remembered you as Angry fangs." He said while walking.

" I'm Evan and what about you?" She said while walking.

Ashley thought it was safe to hide her real name and identity as she ran away from palace. Werewolves may even misunderstand her as a spy and harm her. So she thought to stay low profile.

" I'm Jack. Nice to meet you." He replied.

" By the way, Are you their leader or what? Those hungry terrifying wolves stopped as soon as you appeared or I would be dead by now." Ashley asked.

" Its not like that. I'm....I mean have saved their lives before so they don't go against me and sometimes obey me." Jack replied with different tone as if he was hiding something.

" I don't think you are a weak vampire. Why didn't you fight back?" Jack asked with a furrow.

" Stepping in a valley of werewolves with my work, I thought it was not fair to attack them so I chose to run but luck was not by my side and my ankle sprained."

" Impressive. I never thought Vampires were thoughtful also." He let out a laugh.

" So mean you think so low of Vampires." She punched slowly on his arm.

" Ow..it hurts." He pretended his pain.

Seeing this Ashley let out a laugh and both walked by with sweet talks till they reach a small village.

Ashley got excited to see the village and seemed happy.

" What are you happy about?" Jack asked.

" Jack you may not know but its first time I have been to valley of werewolves and never knew you all lived in so peaceful place in village between forests." Ashley said with excitement.

" Wait a second. Who told you we live here in village? You havent reach to main place where we all live. Its just a camp for our hunting. We live way more luxurious life than Vampires." He said with a smirk.

" Oh..my bad." Ashley said biting her tongue.

" Um..Jack? I'm afraid you will get in trouble if I follow you." She said with awkwardness.

" I owe you a life so don't worry. I promise I will help you and protect you throughout your stay here." He said with a smile.

Ashley was relieved somewhat but with her personality she had a little doubt about Jack's identity but remained quite as she had to rely on him for her mission.

Jack and his pack of wolves who were there for hunting had to stay in that camp for two more days so Ashley was also provided a place to stay with them.

During her stay, she found out werewolves were not as scary as mentioned in the books that she went through and thought Vampires were all living in misunderstanding. Warewolves also lived normal life like those of Vampires.

She was easy to get along with strangers so this character of her made her easier to get along with other wolves who tried to attack her earlier. Every wolves in that valley could transform into human form and she was amazed by all these things.

Though at first, the wolves turned cold to her, later on seeing Jack comfortably talking with her, they slowly started to interact and talk with her.

At night, they all sat around the fire with some of their prey to cook in fire. Same like Ashley, it was also first time for werewolves to meet a Vampire and when they talked they seem really curious about Vampires.

They asked a lot of questions about What kind of lifestyle Vampires live?, Do they really drink human blood as mentioned in books?, Do they run fast like wind? etc. Ashley replied them sincerely and eased their curiosity.

While Ashley talked with other werewolves sitting around the fire, Jack took a several peek at her face which was glowing by the light if fire. The werewolves became good friend with Ashley and even named her Eve.

Even though she was frank she didn't ask any questions about Zune to them as she still wanted to gain trust from the wolves. The wolves only knew that she was a friend who saved Jack's life once and had arrived to visit Jack. However she tried to speak to Jack but he seemed to be busy comanding the wolves during hunt. She just waited for the right time.

The days of their hunting passed and everyone were getting ready to return. She went to Jack and asked " Jack now you have finished your hunt here. Can I ask you something regarding my mission of why I came here?" Ashley seemed serious.

" I'm sorry Evan, I forgot that you had mission and I didn't pay any attention due to my work. You just say what you want to know, I will surely help you." Jack said with concern.

" Do you remember that while I was saving you last time, there was a girl with me who helped to distract other Vampires who were chasing you?" Ashley asked rapidly.

" Yes I do remember but I didn't see her face. You both had hidden your face but fortunately I could take a glance at yours." Jack said smiling.

" Actually, the girl who was with me had fallen from the cliff to this valley due to an accident 5 years ago along with her newly born baby." Ashley's eyes filled with tears.

" Evan?? That was 5 years ago and you are searching now??" Jack said with a doubt.

" Everyone believed that she might have died and had no possibility to live but I denied. No one believed in me. I wanted to come that time but I was held captive at my own house saying that I would get myself in danger if I come here at this valley. Even her husband was in worst state. With one child with him he was also not allowed to search for her."

" These 5 years, we watched one child grow with his mom and twin sister missing but the more heart breaking was when he asked us where his mom was. We all felt guilty that we didn't even look out for the corpse of her body." Ashley burst out in tears and seemed helpless.

Ashley crouched on the ground helding her hair with both of her hands unable to speak while Jack was speechless.

Jack kneeled on the ground and took Ashley's hand. " Evan look at me and stop crying. I think I know the person whom you are searching for."

On hearing this Ashley raised her head with messed up face and hair to look at Jack. She held Jack's hand and said " R..Really?? I-I-Is she alive?? Do you know her?? Where is she??" Ashley asked everything in one breath.

" I will tell you everything but you have to listen to me carefully and stop crying." Jack said calmly.

" Okay, I will listen." Ashley wiped her tears and tried to act normal.

" 5 years ago, while we were on a hunt, we did discover a lady by the bank of river at the end of cliff. She was in really bad state with lots of minor to major injuries and was tightly holding a newly born baby. She didn't look like a Vampire at all and was injured so thinking she would not be a threat we took pity on her and called for our doctor to save her."

Jack continued " After the check up only we knew that she was a human who was turned into a Vampire but her baby was indeed a Vampire. The chances for her and her baby to live was very less but the doctor tried his best. We treated her here in village to avoid threat from others."

" She remained in coma for two months and her baby was under care of some female warewolves. It was first time in history to watch such a scene where Vampire's baby was raised by a female warewolf. When she woke up from coma, she started to act wierdly. She would scream and cry by seeing more than two people around her. Not only that she had lost her memory. She could remember, she had a baby and she was a turned vampire and was harmed by vampire but except that she knew nothing."

" She even held a strong grudge against Vampires due to the mental shock."

Hearing all this Ashley was totally stunned and speechless.
