Autumn is quite beautiful in Paris. Like how the dried leaves are scattered on the ground, wandering around the busy street and get crushed by the foot steps. Not to mention, the most beautiful city would stay forever beautiful, containing the sweet memories of all generation.

"Alex! I'm warning you for the last time to come in front of me!" A young lady of around 25 yelled from inside her bedroom, in one of the largest apartments. She was dressed in a white housecoat with a bowl of soup in her hand.

"Alex!" She shouted again. Then the foot steps were heard, coming closer to the door. She placed the bowl on the table near the bed and sat on the bed. The door opened and her husband came inside.

"Why are you shouting in this evening? Do you know our next door grandma almost had a heart attack because of you?" He joked as she rolled her eyes.

"Very funny" she said and then annoyingly asked "Why it's you? Where is Alex?" 

"Aw come on, you don't have any time for your husband" he said and sat beside her.

"See, I'm not in a good mood now and if he don't come here within a minute then I swear I'll cut your tongue" she said angrily.

"H-hey? What's my fault in this?" Her husband said as they both noticed that a 5 years old boy slowly came inside.

"I-I-am back...mom" he said, softly

"I can see that and I'm highly grateful of that" She said sarcastically as Alex slowly came to his father and hugged him.

"Crystal, you should always behave sweetly with children and he is your son. Why don't you-"

"Don't teach me what I should do! It's because of your excess love, yesterday he fought with those street boys and if I don't tie him in the house he might get into trouble. Don't you know how dangerous those boys are?" Crystal said, with a little depressed.

"Do you think our son to be that weak?" He chuckled.

"I'm not in a mood to argue" She picked Alex from his arm and started feeding him. Alex, who is known as "Danger" in his kindergarten behaves like a scared kitty in front of his mother. He was eating the soup peaceful while Crystal peeled the apples for him.

"Mom, I don't like apples" he said with a pout.

"But Apples are good for health. Didn't you heard that 'An apple, a day, keeps the doctor away'? " Crystal smiled.

"If I throw the apples on the doctor's head, will he still come?" He said with a bright smile as if found out the solution of both the problems.

"Yes he will!" She forced a smile "Now eat it if you don't want to have extras" 

He hurriedly ate the apples and then went to study as his best friend from the next door came to accompany him. Alex is good in studies because his mom personally taught him since childhood. He also learned to play the piano from her mother and soccer from father. 

"Mom! Luke is here! I'm going to play- I mean study" Alex shouted from the living room as the main door opened. Crystal sighed with a small smile and put the plates in the sink.

"Seems like my wife is working very hard these days?" His husband hugged her back.

"Of course, its you who can't see that" she said and again sat on the bed after washing her hands. Her husband looked at the street from the window and nodded.

"It's been 15 years....right? It feels like we are in the different sphere" he said.

"Yes, everything changed. Did I ever knew that I would have a little son and most importantly...I would be with you?" Crystal smiled but she wasn't sure it was of happiness or.....

"Are you happy with me?" He asked, facing her.

"Don't you already know that?" She looked right into his eyes.

"Yea...but you still seems not that happy"

"I always wanted to be with you and now being with you make me feel that I'm the luckiest girl alive. A loving husband and a sweet son... what else a girl need in her life? But you know, it really hurts to let the past go. I wish if we weree together then I would have been more happy"

"It's really not in our hands, is it? It was the past and we already overcame it" He sighed as his emotions became gloomy.

"You still miss her, don't you?" Crystal asked.

"Can I ever forget her? If it wasn't her, you shouldn't have been in love" he chuckled.

"Yes right. She came as my biggest supporter that time" she smiled.

A deep silence filled in the room. Both of them are sitting beside each other but didn't dare to say anything more. Time almost passed and Crystal and her husband also went to do their regular work.

"Mom!" Alex peeped inside the room after completing studying.

"Finished studying?" Crystal smiled "come here". He jumped on the bed and sat between his mom and dad inside the blanket as they both were working in their laptops.

"Mom, you promised me to tell a story today!" Alex said.

"I know I know and I'll surely keep the promise but what about daddy tell you a story?" Crystal asked with excitement.

"What? Me?" Her husband turned his head towards her as she laughed

"Yup! You!" 

"Daddy will you?" Alex smiled.

"But I don't know any story" He said, scratching his head.

"There is only one story in our life and don't you think our son should know about it?" She smiled.

"Do you think it would be ok?" He asked, with a little taken aback as she nodded

"Daddy, what story will you tell me?" Alex asked.

"It's the story of your daddy's life" he smiled as Alex became more excited. He never heard about how his dad was in his younger days nor he saw his grandparents. Crystal looked at her excited son and flipped the page of the table calendar.

"Steve, this day finally came and...

Today is 22nd October..."

15 years ago, 22nd October: 

"I swear I'll f**king kill your cousin if she dares to complain against me again!" Steve, the biggest Womanizer of Strasbourg University yelled at his friend over the phone.

"Cool man, she is not one of your playgirl and I'll make sure that she won't make any trouble for you again" his friend sighed and hanged up. He wished he could tell him that his cousin isn't wrong and he should deserve it for bringing her on his bed by tricking but Alas! Because of his high profile he couldn't do anything. 

There are lots of people in the university who don't like him but are best at flattering and why not? There is nothing impossible for Steve Byme and girls are mad over him though exceptions are still there. His both parents are renowned scientists and are very kind and understandable but their one misfortune that they couldn't taught their son how to behave properly.

Steve put down the phone on his bed and came out of his room. The hall was filled with sunlight which was kinda irritating him. He ignored those and sat on the couch when the main door opened and his parents came inside with a little girl of 4 years. He looked at the girl, wearing a purple frock and a sweet smile then again at the kitchen.

"Are you guys repairing the kitchen? Where is my food?!" He yelled at the maids as one of them hurriedly set the table.

"Steve, where are your manners? Don't you know you should greet people when they come home?" His dad said, annoyingly.

"Bleh! Do I look like I care? By the way, who's this begger?" He pointed at the girl.

"Steve!" His mom yelled "Is this a way to talk to your sister?" She shouted angrily as he stood up with a huge shock. No no! S.H.O.C.K!

"W-What?" He asked again, not getting if he heard properly or not.

"You heard right. She is your sister. Her name is Eleanora" His father said.

"You must be kidding right? Since when I had a sister?" He laughed a bit.

"Since today my son. We adopted this little angel today from my friend's orphanage" Mr Byme smiled

"And may I know what made you do that?"

"She seems beautiful to me and look at her face, she seems too innocent but pretty strong. She impressed us by defeating 3 boys at the orphanage" Mrs Byme said as Steve clapped.

"Woah! Woah! That's means whenever you'll see someone impressing you, you will adopt them? Are you crazy? This is a home and how can you possibly pick up a random girl and say that she is my sister?" Steve agrued.

"Yup we're crazy but Eleanora is your sister from now on" 

"Eleanora? Don't you think it's pretty too big name for her?" He gave them an ugly look.

"Yea but she won't forever be little, will she?" Mrs Byme chuckled.

"You're right. She have a grow up to be a huge demon!" Steve said, sarcastically.

"You're simply wasting your energy in this worthless aruge so better not and consider her as your sister. I am sure she won't let you down" his dad said proudly.

"I can't" he said and went to his room, leaving them and the food which was already served.

If it was a person, he/she would have been crying in a corner for bringing up a sister for them or throw things here and there in order to show their anger but we have someone here who don't even fall in the category of humans and that's why, he decided to listen to music and he will deal all those shits later.

Its been 2 hours and Steve is still listening to music while playing video games. Monsters were having a race inside his tummy but no one came in his room to serve his food nor he came out.

"The f**k!" he angrily removed his headphone and came out of his room to see that the family of three was having lovely time. Yeah! Who's is the real family!

"Mom!" He shouted.

"Oh you're here?" Mrs Byme smiled "Sara, serve your young master's food". He looked at Eleanora who was laughing and smiling while eating as both Mr and Mrs Byme where enjoying with her. He came down and took his seat in front of her.

"Hello brother!" She smiled at him as his grief tightened.

"No one is your brother here" he said, between his anger.

"Steve!" His father warned as he rolled his eyes. He was feeling really weird to have a sister out of nowhere and she was also giving him a bad feeling.

"Mom, why is brother so angry? Don't he likes me?" Eleanora asked.

"She is my mom not yours!" He shouted as the bowl of babycorns fell from the maids hands, making everyone jump.

"I-I-am sorry" the maid hurriedly apologized and cleaned the floor.

"Jeez! Useless" Steve muttered as his mom sighed and turned towards Eleanora.

"Nora, your brother is a bit angry because he newly met you. Don't worry, he will surely like you" Mrs Byme smiled.

"Who's this Nora now?" Steve asked.

"Her only. Isn't the name cute? And it would be better if we call her Nora instead of calling the full name" Mrs Byme said.

"Yea yea, whatever you guys feel like but remember, I'll never like her and I'll definitely show her hell if she comes in my room or poke her nose in my matters" Steve said.

"But-" Mr Byme cut her off.

"Alright but don't kill ok?" Mr Byme said with a chuckle.

"Do I look like a murderer to you?" He narrowed his eyes while grabbing his sandwich.

"Can't surely tell" he said as Mrs Byme laughed.

Little Nora looked all of them and then at Steve was passing dead glare at her. She smiled sweetly at him before changing her expression to a evilish one. Steve was a little taken aback but didn't say anything. She smirked at him as he gritted his teeth.

"Look like I'm going to have a hard time" he thought and continued eating.
