So it starts from that rainy day. I never knew that my constant life is going to end.

I'm Nika... A middle class family's second child. Most of you does not know that there are classes in middle class also. Does is sound weird? No it is not, you all can relate to it. So if I be specific, I came from the middle rang of a middle class family, contrary I never had any ups and downs in my life.. it is always constant.. like always ... Some people said I'm lucky that I have constant life because I never had any pain in my life.. but some said no, you are unlucky because you never experience the real happiness after the great sorrow..

I also gets irritated sometimes with this kind of consistency in my life but at the end of the day I'm fine with everything.

So I'm kind of a boring person. Friends said I'm a good listener because I always there to hear their story and episodes but the reality is I never had any story to tell them so by the time goes I became a good listener and not that good with words.

If you asked me to describe myself.. I'm emotional inside but strong outside, I hate to express myself.. Have dream in my eyes but no hope in my life.. I'm calm and responsible by nature having no target in life. So I'm living a life without any reason I guess. I think line "Go With The Flow" is written for me because that's what I'm doing since my childhood.

My childhood?

I don't remember exactly.. it's blank.. maybe because there was nothing to remember... I spend my childhood doing my work, house chores and there was no one to play with me.

Why?

I don't know.. I guess I was introvert.. shy.. hesitates while meeting someone or talking to someone.. So there is no memory of my childhood.. All I do remember is whenever I walk outside, everyone stares at me.. I don't know why.. Of course I do look like human being but I don't know why they stares me, maybe because I walk too fast.. Who knows.. I never asked anyone.

I woke up because of the suddenly with the noise of thunder.

It's rainy outside. It's pouring since midnight.

"I need to go to my office, What time is it" i reached to my mobile while sitting from my bed. it's 8:30 a.m, its already too late. Should I asked for a leave today. Anyways it's been more than a year I did not take a leave for myself. It's beautiful outside, I should enjoy today.' Continuously working for years, having no fun in life, it's exhausting.

"Ah 2 missed call from Tina" why is she calling me this early. There is a whatsapp message  as well from her.

Tina: Please call me once you are up, its urgent, office crisis.

What happen now , why can't i take a leave for myself. I'm too lazy today, i don't want to go office my all internal parts don't want to get up each and every part of my body saying to lay down, just admire the view of outside.

"Office crisis" this hit my mind again. "i should call her" i pick up my mobile and dial her number.  "its not reachable, may be because of rain "

The more I think about taking leave, more I feel I have a lot of work to do so I shouldn't.

It's been like this since childhood whenever I want to take leave, responsibilities fasten me in their arms and I end up showing myself.

So again I decide to go to office.

Good thing it's beautiful outside, it will lift my mood today. But bad thing is I'm getting late.

"Nika you are getting late, don't you have office today?" mom asked me while entering the room.

"I do have, just going" i said while getting up from my bed.

"Breakfast is ready, eat it before going and get up fast, take a shower"

"Ok" i said and went to take shower. I wonder what happen in office she called me twice, will call her after taking shower.

"Shit! if I'm late they will mark it as half day today. I need to go fast. Mom i'm going will eat something in office"

"You are always like this even you get up early in morning you still skip the breakfast, i dont get it what you do in shower that it takes you so much" she scold me for the 100th time today.

" I'm Leaving, bye" I went before she scold me again.

"Why metro is late today."

 Why is it always like this, when you are getting late and you try to get on time, universe tries even harder to make you late three times.

"Finally i reached"

I reached my office a little late, water dripping from my head, I was wiping it while entering from the door..

it's strange today.. no noise.. everyone is so silent. I just look over the colleagues sitting next to door table to know the reason but everyone was so focused on their work .. it's unusual.

"Duck! i forgot to call Tina" I went to my cabin after punching my attendance..

"Waah.. the atmosphere is so cold today. I wonder what happened".

Should I ask Tina, where is she and why she is not receiving my calls.

I went to her seat but that was empty, her bag is there but where is she.

"Hey Dhatee where is Tina? and why everyone is so silent today?" I asked her as she sits besides Tina.

"She is in HR office with Manager" she raised both her eyebrows while looking at me.

"Why? What happened" i asked her as i start worrying about her.

Suddenly office boy called me "Nika mam, Manager Suketu is asking you to come in HR Office"

"He is asking me, Why" I asked him

"I don't know, he asked me to tell you as soon as you come to office."

"Okay, i'll go" i said and asked Dhatee the reason why everyone is so silent today.

" I also don't know, Suketu sir came and start shouting on everyone and asked to submit the report and work details today that's why everyone is working"

"Oh! okay, let me check"

I entered in office and saw all three  of them with worry on their face and kind of anger on suketu's eyes. Suketu and HR manager was sitting their and Tina was standing facing them and this white color table in between them making this atmosphere more depressing.. I just hate the infrastructure of this office like everything is white here, furniture, wall, door like ever single thing. colorless life.. it makes you more depressing then usual..

While entering I can see Tina's back but not her face but by judging the situation I'm sure something big happened because Suketu never came in HR office until something big happened.

"Hello guys, Good morning" i greet everyone with the smile to lower the atmosphere.

 "Suketu you asked me to come, anything urgent?" I asked him directly.

I was the only one in my office who called everyone by their name, Manager and CEO as well, we all are almost same age and I was the first person who joined this office after them, so from the very start I called them by their name.. they never asked me to address them by sir or anything and I also don't want to.

"Yes Nika! Please sit" he said while putting his phone down." So what happened " I asked after glancing Tina who was looking down at floor

"Actually we have a problem" HR Meeta said while looking at me."Hmm I can guess that looking at the atmosphere, what Happened?" I asked.

Somehow no one in this office like the HR, well I don't have any problem with her, it's just that she is too lazy and she try to speak so sweetly that you will get irritated just hearing her voice.. I don't know whether she is really that sweet or just pretend to be.

"You should ask her" Suketu said Throughing his pen on table and looking at Tina. He looked really angry."Tina what happened" I asked her while adjusting my chair towards her.

She looked at me with her puppy eyes who was asking for help, I can just sense their emotions just by looking at their eyes, it's been too long working with them and I have seen them growing in front of me in this office.

"Mam actually I left my office phone here by mistake and the client I was managing tried reaching me out since two days but I was on leave so wasn't able to answer them, so now they are asking to dismiss the contract" She said.

"Tina if you left the mobile then its okay but you should have assigned your work to others when you are leaving for 2 days, it's not something you are not aware of.. it's been too long you are working here, we don't expect you to do these small mistakes.. that's indeed your fault. I said looking at her "

But its not a big issue that Suketu itself interfere in these matters. I wonder why he asked me to come here, i'm not from Management department. I'm from Marketing department however if anything happen in office they consult with me everything as i'm the oldest employee here and know everyone but this is a small issue and can be managed by Tina'a manager, why making it a big issue.

"But Suketu this is not a big deal and can be managed by Tina and Akanksha. They will tell the client that Tina were not available and apologise to them and assure that it will not happen again" I said while looking at him.

"Nika that's not the only thing, Tina will you mind telling her the whole situation or you want me to explain" he said while looking at Tina.

No wonder this is not the whole story else Suketu would not bother by these small issues even if we loose a contract it does not bother him. We all three were looking at Tina and waiting her to answer and she said

"Mam actually tomorrow is his live concert and I forgot to tell anyone in the team"

"What" I said while raising my eyebrows in shock.

"Are you kidding me? He has a concert tomorrow and you forgot about this and you did not even tell anyone in the team. Are you out of your mind? You are not a child Tina, how can you be so irresponsible." I was so shocked just by hearing this.

(We are Content marketing and celebrity management company. Tina is managing 5 celebrities. Her work includes managing celebrities' important work like collaborations with brands, Managing photo shoots and arranging meetings and doing promotion for brands)

"Yes we will lose our contract because of this Tine, you should have at least told someone in your team" Meeta said.

"Its not about contract Meeta, its about the responsibility and its not a small birthday party, its a concert, do you have any idea how much does it take to organise a concert, if they want they can sue us as well" i said with disappointing tone.

"Tina, you caused a big trouble to us, i'm afraid I have to fire you" Suketu said with anger.

"I'm Sorry Sir, this would not happen again" Tina said with her guilty and wet eyes looking down at her feet. The atmosphere is so tense and I'm also not sure what we should do now, it's not a small mistake that can be forgiven just by apologising to artists.

"Nika can you talk to them" Suketu asked me, interrupting my thoughts and shifting his eyes to me from Tina which caused me a panic attack just by hearing this, why should I talk to them.

"What" I asked him with a questionable tone.

"Yes, You know that i can't tell this to Milind, he is already handling a lot of stuffs and this will give him only more tension and the situation of our company is not that good and this will only harm our company goodwill, talk to them and tell them the situation try to convince them and end this to in good terms" Suketu said this in one go while i was confused why i need to talk to them, this is not my department and i'm not the one who caused it instead of me he should talk to them on behalf of our company, he is the manager and i'm just an employee from another department.

"But Suketu I think you should talk to them instead of me as i never had words with them and being an employee from another department, my apologies would not comfort them they will get more angry instead. Being on higher position as a Manager i think you should talk to them" I suggest him while looking straight at him. Its always like this, whenever company had any problem or he is not able to manage he toss them to me to handle and to hear those shitty things from clients and answer them, i'm tired handling his work.

"Nika i already tried to calm them down but they are not listening, his assistant called me in morning and told me that they want to terminate the contract with us. She is not even listening to me. So you talk to them and you are not just an employee here you are the oldest one and everyone listen to you here any you know the most how we do work so you can convince them." he said. Yes i'm, very well aware of the work and the tricks you are using right now.

"Also about Tina's job, i'll talk to Milind and will try that he wouldn't fire her, but you need to talk with them and solve this problem as soon as possible" He said while looking at me. I looked at Tina who was looking at me with so much expectations. Here comes his trick to convince me and i cant do anything but accept it.

"Hmm okay i'll talk to them" i said accepting with my lower voice.

"Okay so i'm leaving, i have an important call, tell me once you have words with them and Tina be more responsible." he said leaving the room with Meeta.

"What's wrong with this guy, if he can't handle things then why is he taking salary, give it to me dude if i'm going to listen the shit of the clients" I said while smashing the white papers in front of me. I'm too irritated with these guys.

"I'm sorry mam, because of me you have to handle all this" Tina said Still looking down at her feet. I don't know what should i say to her, we already scold her earlier she must be feeling guilty and scared for her job as well.

"Its okay Tine, as long as you know your fault, just be more careful next time." I said with with my calm voice so i can comfort her.

"They are going to fire me?" She asked

 I asked her to sit down next to me.

" they wouldn't, Suketu was just playing his trick so i accept to handle this matter and to warn you. " i said " but you need to be careful next time"

"I will, Thank you mam" she said while  nodding.

"Okay so tell me the exact situation so i can talk to them" i asked.

He has a concert tomorrow and his friend who recommend our name to him called Suketu in morning and she told him that she want to discontinue the agreement so she asked the procedure" she said.

"Anything else?" i asked her

"No" she said.

" Okay, Give me his number" i'll talk to him.

She unlock her mobile and shocked looking at screen.

"****" she screamed

"What" i asked worriedly.

"He called me twice since morning but my mobile was silent. what should i do, what should i do."  she said panicking while running around the table.

"Give me his number, i'll call him"

"He is calling again. what should i do, what should i say"

"Stop panicking will you? give me the phone, i'll talk to him" I took her mobile to answer.

I picked up the phone and answered

"Hello" I said

"Hello! Hi Tina?" i heard a male voice. The voice was soft and delicate that can melt your heart just by hearing few words.

"Hello! Tina?" He said again.

"Hello! No, its Nika"
