...Chapter 1...

As usual it was a boring day … not because of anything particular but coz of nothing particular. I wonder how I could skip this boring history class…

Could I ask him for going to toilet? Hmm…no way, am sure he won’t allow! (Coz it’s the 3rd time).

Ughhh!!!!! How am I gonna keep up with his creaky voice. But no matter what I will endure it, my grades are more important than my ears. You can’t make me quit!! If others can do it I can too. Yeah.. my friends are here I wonder what they are doing. I slowly peeked them. huh?

Really? Am I seeing things? For the first time in my life I saw each one of them eagerly listening without even batting their eyelids.

But wait something isn’t quit right…suddenly as to confirm my suspicion they all stood fixing their eyes at me. Darkness had covered their eyes and a red liquid oozing from their mouth.

What? What is it? What happened? This is a first. I had never been more surprised and feared at the same time. My heart started to beat violently. I couldn’t open my mouth. I couldn’t scream. Each second their steps became closer to me. One of them smiled at me spreading the red liquid all over the floor. Eww!! He was once a good looking kid but what happened to him? I looked at him again as his white canines flashed infront of me; within that moment I gathered as much strength as I could and let out a bloody scream closing my eyes. Aaaah!!!!!!!!!!

As I was engulfed in darkness I could hear someone calling me but I was too afraid to open my eyes, so I raised my voice again till I felt a strong hand on my cheek. Ugh! It hurts.. and I opened my eyes.

“Ma? What are you doing here?”-I asked as my mind started processing my surrounding.

“Ya!!! Hae Ra..! It's your last warning, You better stop your annoying screamings or am gonna burn all your bloody vampires”- My mom threatened and walked out followed by a loud bang!

Again...? Ughhh... I can’t believe I did it again. Me and my nightmares…

Untill a week ago I was a good normal kid. But these days I started to have a crazy hobby of reading fictional stories and novels especially that of Vampires...

And then my dreams started to occur. Also My family started to lose their sleep.( coz of me screaming at night.)

Hehe... I think I should stop reading them for the time being as the school is starting, Vacation is over and am not gonna be bored anymore. (Not because I am afraid she will burn them.)

Anyway as long as I started to buy these crazy vampire books these nightmares came as free just like buy one get one free. Sorry its actually get two free...I left out my mom’s extra nagging ha!

...Chapter 2...

“Hae Ra…Lee Hae Ra! Aren’t you gonna wake up? Do you really wanna be late for your first day at school?”-Mom started to shout from the kitchen.

I tossed and turned in my bed again not in the mood to get up any sooner. There is still 2 hours left before school starts. Can’t she just wake me after 1 hour? I don’t need these much time to get ready.

“Ya! Do you want me to drop you at the school?”- My brother asked.

I was surprised to hear that. Usually he won’t have time to wait for me as his work starts too early.

“Really? Are you gonna drive me? Don’t you have work today?”-I asked to make sure I didn’t heard it wrong.

“Yeah ofcourse I have work…but, I thought that today I should take a leave and drop you since it’s your first day as a senior”-He said scratching his head. Huh? What am I hearing? Does he have a fever?

“Yaa… get ready and have breakfast”-He said leaving me alone with my thoughts. Ugh…whatever I can’t sleep anymore. I went straight to the bathroom.

I got ready and guess what? There’s still an hour remaining. I went down to kitchen looking for breakfast.

“Maa… what’s for breakfast?”- I called out (just a routine and I know there won’t be any reply) observing the food on the table. Bread, eggs, juice… not bad. I sat down on the chair biting a piece of bread looking around for jinho (brother-2 year’s small). He came down looking good. What? He shouldn't be looking good.

“Jinho, you look like Sloth…”-As soon as I finished those words a hand came down to my head. Ugh! It definitely hurts.

“Maa! I was just telling the truth”-I complained looking at my brother snickering across the table.

“Don’t you start the first thing in the morning!”- My mom shouted. She is so scary when she gets angry so I didn’t argue with her instead I stared at Jinho. He stood from his seat and walked towards me.

“And you look like a pig”- He whispered and ran away before I could call mom. Aish! I will definitely kill him someday.

I saw my brother (older one) coming down getting ready looking cool and handsome as usual.

“Ji hu why did you get ready so early? Didn’t you say that you don’t have any work coz the boss is on a vacation today?”- My mom asked. Ooh…so that’s what it was. Sorry brother you shouldn’t have lied to me.

“Maa, brother said he can go to the blind date you fixed the other day coz he is full free today”- I said smiling to him while he glared at me.

“Jihu ya you should have told me earlier, wait let me call her”-She searched for her phone.

“Maa he is a little shy so he told me to tell you”-I said before my brother could protest and smiled at him showing my full teeth.

I went out and got into his car waiting for him. My brother hates it when my mom set up blind dates for him. Mainly because he only started working half a year ago and he thinks he need to work atleast two years before any commitments. (Actually he is too lazy).

“When are you meeting your girlfriend? - I teased him when he sat on the driving seat.

“Hae Ra yaa… don’t worry I will never forget your help today” – My brother said looking annoyed and pinching my ears hard.

“Aaah! Brother it hurts… sorry, I won’t do that again” –I cried. And a second later he let go of me and drove me to school.

...Chapter 3...

I ran towards my best friends as soon as I spot them. I am not sure if they have changed or not coz we were together almost all the time during the vacation. Do Hyung ... Park Do Hyung and Cha Yoo Na. We were the ultimate trio since the start of high school. We clicked pretty fast and were mostly like crime partners. (Just small habits like drawing on others face when they are sleeping and on school walls and mainly irritating others...overall we were very good students’ hehe...)

“Yaa how can you have a brother like that?” - Yoo Na asked.

“What...What’s the matter with my brother?” - I questioned.

“Isn’t he way too... too handsome?” – She smiled showing her full teeth.

“Aish...”- Me and Do Hyung said the same time poking her head from opposite sides with our fingers.

“Yaa it hurts...Can’t I even appreciate the handsome ones?”- Yoo Na complaint herself and followed us towards our classroom.

It’s been a long vacation and finally we became the biggest one in the whole school. Everything’s the same... same seat, same ugly faces and the same old boring class... I went straight to my seat and started to observe around to look if there’s any change in others. Ha! Now that I see... our class monitor seems to be a bit more handsome. Did he lose weight?? Aish he saw me looking at him, ughh... why do he have to turn now of all time and top of all he suddenly stood up and walked towards me smiling sweetly. What else am I supposed to do I also smiled back at him.

“Hi Hae Ra... it’s been long right?”- He asked

“Ha yes... it’s been long and um... you look a little bit changed, have you lost some weight monitor?”- I asked smiling.

“Ha ha... you noticed, Yeah... I did some workouts here and there and don’t I look more handsome?”- He inquired.

What the hell? How should I respond to it? And why are you asking me of all people?

“Ya..! Do you think a monkey won’t be a monkey if it loses its weight?”- Do Hyung tease him saving me from that awkward situation.

“Ya! Do Hyung... you think you are any better?”- Our monitor looked a bit serious this time.

Oh god I don’t want my first experience as a senior to be destroyed by these too blockheads. As if the god has answered my prayers, our teacher came silencing and seating everyone in their own seats. Ha! What an obedient and good kids (me included). Our teacher started to explain about our syllabus, portions to study and colleges and scopes and so on... Half of the class were asleep when the bell rang. It’s always the same whether we play around or eat snacks or sleep.

“Hae Ra run fast, you are going to miss the bus”-Yoo Na said running to the stop with Do Hyung.

We were just in time as the bus was taking off when we reached. I went inside and said bye bye to them after taking an empty seat. Their home was the opposite way so they always sent me to bus first before going to home and Do Hyung and Yoo Na are neighbours as their home is only a wall apart.
