The night was dark and stormy. The only lights seen were from streets lights, the street walkers, were no where to be seen, Aya stood in the shadows and watching Adam the Immortal real name (Methos), the man she has been madly in love with 200 years the man who knows nothing of chivalry, why of all men do I want him? Aya asked herself, this man who hangs around with Duncan MacLeod the immortal who killed his own wife, but that’s the way I feel and there is nothing to be done. Aya watched from the shadows as Duncun and Methos went to deal with the jealous women who tried to kill the young yellow haired immortal. Duncun wasn’t doing to bad against her but Aya knew that he couldn’t go throw with it, he is to much of a gentleman to be able to kill a woman, specially one that he used to love, he didn’t ! He just walked away ! I was getting ready to revival myself and finish what Duncun started but before I could my beloved Methos stepped forward and sis to her.

“I come from a time long before chivalry. Pick it up.”

There fight didn’t last long with Methos still standing at the end.

No serprise there. She after all was no match for Duncun he was just to noble to kill a women I stood and watched Methos dispose of her body in the ocean and walked back to the car but for one moment on his way back to Duncun he stopped and turned his head slightly in the direction that i was and I realized that I wasn’t useing my power and quickly brought up my shield witch camouflage me from all immortal, so that they can’t senses my presence anywhere near.

“That was close” Aya said to herself

As she watched Methos rejoin Duncun and returned to the loft. Aya went back to her one bedroom apartment and poured herself a glass of whiskey,

Aya sat in the dark for a moment before she took off her Star Wars shirt and blue jeans and sat in the dark the scar on her chest was jagged and visible the wound that made her immortal Aya sat and relived that moment.

Back in England in the year 1518 one year after Connor MacLeod was killed by the Kurgan and came back to life after the Kurgan left Scotland and found her in England.

The young daughter of a lord and betrothed to a very handsome baron who was only 2 years older then herself. She was a shalterd young Lady just introduced at court. Aya remembers walking through the streets with her guards something that she had done several times before. When this man came out of the shadows!

Tall dark hair and fair skin, he killed her guards and dragged her into an alley!

Aya remembers being very scared, so scared that she wasn’t even able to scream this man tore her dress off of her then pulled out his dagger!

For 3 hours Aya was raped and beaten and stabbed, when he was finished with her he left her on the ground covered in blood and barely breathing with in a few minutes she had died and come back,

While laying ***** covered in blood. When a woman found her. This woman introduced herself as Amanda and neatld down beside me and said

“don’t be afraid, I know what happened and who you are and I’m going to help you”

“What are you talking about? My name is lady Anne and I’m just a normal person”

“No Anne your not” Amanda replied

“Then what am I?” Aya whispered

“Your immortal”

“What do you mean by that?”aya whispered

“You can’t die or age anymore, how you are now is how you will stay for the rest of eternity”

“No...no! I don’t believe you”Anne cryed

“It’s the truth child we are immortals, now you must come with me you have much to learn or you won’t live long”

Amanda told me as she helped me to my feet.

“I have to go home” I said to Amanda

“You can’t” Amanda replied in a very calm voice

“Why?”

“Let me guess your an only child and your betrothed to some lord or baron is that right?”

“Yes”

“You are no longer a ****** all lords and barons want there wife’s untouched they will know the moment that they see you. That you are no longer a ****** and then how will you explain what happened? They will call you a ***** and a witch, they will try to kill you. No Anne it’s best if you just come with me”

“We’re we going?” Anne whispered

“Scotland, then we will see”

she took me back to her home helped me take a bath, gave me a dress then the next morning we were in a carriage on our way to Scotland, I never saw my family again.

The sun was rising when i came out of the past. I finished my whiskey and went to take a shower.

Aya was standing outside a bank leaning against a street light poll when she heard foot steps behind her. She heard Amanda’s voice saying

“Hi Anne”

“Hi” I replied without turning around.

“Nice to see you sweetie”

“Didto” I replied distracted

“Really then why haven’t you turned to look at me?”

“Because I’m timeing that guard, isn’t that why you asked me here you want to rob this place right?”

I could tell she was smiling behind me without looking.

“Either you know me to well or I was a better teacher then I thought”

“You have no idea” I replied

“Do you have the time change down?” Amanda asked

In her all business tone. A slight smile hit my lips I replied “yes”

“Then lets go for coffee and I’ll tell you my plan”

I moved away from the pole and turned to her.

“ ok there is a Starbucks up the street”

We walked in silence to the coffee shop I got a bottle of water Amanda got some caramel thing and a scone.

“So” Amanda said after we sat down

“How’s the stalking going?”

“How’s your fucking of Duncun going?” I replied

Amanda smiled and laughed “ I wish you would just let me introduce the two of you I think you would make a lovely couple”

“Methos doesn’t do relationships. Remember?”

“ oh honey I’m sure he will reconsider, if it’s you”

“ I dought that, now can we get down to business? I don’t have all day”

“Fine” Amanda replied

The we got right down to it Amanda layer out the plan, quick easy, in and out just the way I like my robbery’s we set the date for a week from tomorrow, if everything goes the way we need it to go.

After we finished our drinks, we hugged and went our separate ways.I didn’t return home like I said I was instead I went in search of my beloved Methos finding him with Duncun as usual, I followed them around town for a few hours. I was shocked when they met up with Amanda. They were standing in front of some ice cream shop. I know that Amanda knew I was there she is the only Immortal who can sense me even with my shield up I don’t know why. After a few moments Duncun and Methos went inside and Amanda walked towards where I was standing, when she reached me she said

“ didn’t you say that you were going home?”

“I lied”

“Since when do you do dates?”

“I don’t “ Amanda replied

“I was casksing it when Duncun and Methos showed up”

“Ice cream parlours don’t have that much money”

“ ones own by the mob do” Amanda said with a wicked smile on her lips

“I’m not robbing a mob front! Remember what happened the last time?”

The year was 1957, Amanda and Anne ( now going by Aya) were working at a cafe owned by Al Capone, tons of money,booze, and tobacco all hidden in the back. They were on there breaks reading about this new guy in the Bureau of prohibition, Elliot Ness was his name.

“Hm”said Amanda

“So it looks like we should hit him before this ness guy does” I said

“Maybe...but I’m still trying to get the key from his manager”

“What’s taking so long when he passes out after humping you just take it and replace it with the duplicate”

“It’s not that easy because after he finishes ‘humping me as you put it’ he passes out on top of me, that man is heavy”

I laughed and said “with that gut I’m surprised he doesn’t crush you to death”

Amanda laughed and said “he did”

Amanda and I shared a laugh. After a moment we started to plan again we needed that key but Amanda couldn’t get it with that fat slob on top of her. Then I got an idea.

“What if while you and him are in bed after your done and he passes out on top of you I’ll come in and switch out the key”

“That could work I’ll lever the door open for you”

I gave a heavy sigh and said “ ok...to night then?”

“Your call?” Amanda replied

“Then yes tonight, let’s get this over with and get out of here”

“Got it”

Tonight came and there I was in the fat slobs house waiting outside the door listening to the bed squeaking while he rode Amanda. I could hear his pants and Ahhhing and talk while I’m sure Amanda’s eyes were rolling around in her head waiting for him to finally finish witch he did after 20 minutes of humping and panting I heard Amanda say

“he’s out”

I took a steadying breath and walked in to the room what I saw was a very ***** sweaty fat man laying face down with two skinny white legs on either side of his hips and Amanda looking at me from under him. I’m biting my tongue trying not to laugh, and Amanda whispered

“Don’t laugh just get the damn key!”

“I’m on it”

While doing my best to bite back my laughter I walked over to the nightstand and carefully opened the drawer, switched out the key. Without saying a word I walked out of the and right out the front door.

The fallowing day at the restaurant. Hayden was standing by the front door with his revolver in his shoulder holster showing through his jacket.

“Even though we are about to rob this place. I have to say that atleast my target unlike Amanda’s is good looking” I throut, while I was looking over his 3 piece baby blue suit blue Stetson and shiny black shoes.

I walked up to Hayden and said “how’s it hanging honey”

“Hiya doll face” Hayden replied

“So wants shaken”?

“Nothing yet, so we still on for dinner tonight?”

“You bet honey”

“Pick you up after work then”

I smiled and pressed my pelvis against his leg and said “I can’t wait”

I walked away swinging my hips as much as I could and still walk strait, I found Amanda in the back and tolled her.

“I got the door man to take me to a nice little restaurant while you snags the cash from the safe”

“That’s my girl”Amanda smiled at me and we went back to work.

My shift ended and Hayden took me out on the town we had a nice dinner with good wine and other alcohol all behind Mr. Ness’s back of course and no shock to me or Amanda, Hayden wasn’t a gentleman at all, but another scum, when I got home around dawn, Amanda is sitting on the sofa with the loot I gave her a weak smile and threw my 5 grand on top of the pile of 50 grad that she got from the restaurant.

“You o.k. Sweetheart?” Amanda asked me

“Well he did exactly what you said he was going to do”

“Not surprised are you?”

“No. But I’m going to take a bath before we leave”

“I know honey: I’ll wait here”

“Thanks”

While I was in the Bath I remembered the man that Amanda introduced me too in 1799 Methos, and I realized that I was falling in love with him. The following day we sent in 2 letters one to Al Capone and the other to Mr.Ness telling them both about the robbery and the other things he did to me and the man who left his post, we left town that same day, few weeks later we heard about Hayden being killed by Capone himself and Mr.Ness and his men getting the shipment from Canada.

“That was a long time ago” Amanda said bringing me back to the present.

“ and yet you want to try it again”

“Why not things are different now”

“Different how?, if were caught they will still kill us, and we both know how well that will go over”

“ look let’s talk about this later for now your coming inside and meeting Duncun and Methos”

“I’ve already met Methos”

“I know but now your stalking him and if I’ve missed my guess you are in love with him”

“Maybe” I replied.

While I was looking at him and Duncun who are now watching us from the window of the ice cream shop.

“Alright let’s go because if we stay here they will come out and talk to us so let’s get in” Amanda said with her hand cuping my elbow. I sighed and took a steadying breath.

“Fine let’s go before I change my mine and run”

“That’s right sweetie just take a deep breath”

Duncun and Methos were sitting at the table in front of the window with coffee in front of them watching us Amanda smiled at them while we walked up to the counter, Amanda got some kind of latte thing I got another bottle of water and headed over to Duncun and Methos, Duncun and Amanda had a quick kiss before we sat down,

“This is my good friend and I guess the closest thing that I will ever have to a daughter, Aya”

“What kind of name is Aya?”Duncun asked.

Methos replied before I could open my mouth

“We met before many years ago but your name wasn’t Aya it was Anne if I’m not mistaken” Methos replied while looking at me.

“Good memory” I said with a faint smile

“We’re immortals all we have are our memories. What I want to know is why can’t we sense you?”

“Don’t take it personally,Amanda is the only one who can, I’m able to put up a shield so that no immortal can sense me”

“How are you able to do?” Duncun asked

“I’m not really sure, I’ve always been able to, well since I became immortal anyway “

“And how did that happen?” Methos asked

I told them what happened in England with the Kurgan.

“My god!” Said Duncun

“Stronger then I throught you were” Methos said under his breath

I glanced at Methos and tried to judge his real feelings about what happened so long ago, but I couldn’t tell, this man was very hard to read must have something to do with being an ancient.

“So” asked Duncun “how long have you been in town?”

“Couple of months”

“Same as Methos”

“Oh” I said without further commenting any further but catching the look Duncun and Amanda were sharing. Clearly she told Duncun about my hoppy

“So any plans while your here?” Methos asked

“Not sure maybe a couple” I replied while sharing a quick look with Mom.

“But I should get going I have some more errands to run.”

I got up and walked to the door throwing my water bottle, into the recycling bin on the way out.

Methos came up behind me and asked if I wanted some company I turned and gave him a quick look then said “ I guess”

We left and headed towards the bank that I was casing earlier I needed to get a safety deposit box there, for the heist,

“So” Methos asked

“We’re are we going?”

“Bank I need a safety deposit box”

“Oh? Are you planning on staying here for a while?”

“Maybe” I replied without further comment

“You play your cards close to your chest, I like that in a women”

“Do you now?” I said

Being careful not to say anything else and give away that I already new that.

“So” Methos said “ what have you been doing?”

I shrugged and said “Oh...this and that I tend to move around a lot”

“Something else we have in common then”

“Really?”

When we got to the bank Methos went and sat down in one of the arm chairs to wait for me while I open the box I had to stand in line for a few minutes while I waited to be served,

“I can help the next in line”

Said the clerk from the far end of the counter, the man standing there was very young and handsome looked to be middle eastern with dark hair and a well groomed beard that went up the side of his face to his hair line, thin mustage and brown eyes, his name tag said Domanik he looked 18 but looks can be very decisiving in this day and age. He was wearing a long sleeve white dress shirt with blue stripes,and a blue tie,As I got to the counter and said

“ how are you doing?”

“I’m great and yourself?”

“I’m fine, thank you”

“So what can I do for you today?” He asked

“I would like to open a safety deposit box please”

“Of course. Please follow me”

He locked his till, and came out from behind the counter he led me down a short hallway to the back were I filled out some paperwork, with false information of course.

While we were doing this I noticed that it was really hot in the back room and Domanik rolled up his sleeve and I noticed rope burns on his wrist but no ring on his left hand I pretended not to notice his wrist but asked.

“May I ask you a personal question?”

He gave me a worried look then said “of course “

“Are you married?”

His look of worry turned into a look of relive and said “no I’m not”

I wonder Aya throught if they could use him or not. Maybe I’ll just follow him and see what he’s into and go from there.

A short while later we were done paperwork and I have a box number on it was 8397, Domanik walked me out from the back room shook my hand and said

“Have a great day and I hope to see you again”

I gave him a warm smile. “I’m sure you will and you also have a nice day”

I walked away from the counter and over to where Methos was waiting for me.
