"Lillith, are you ready? the competition is going to start in few minutes." Daisy asked Lillith as they were getting ready for the competition

"Yes, darling! I'm ready.

Now tell me, how do I look?"

Daisy looked at Lillith from head to toe as she wore the beautiful blue gown daisy had selected for her

"Just, damn beautiful, literally if you were a butterfly I surely would've captured and kept you"

They both laughed on the remark Daisy made, before they could chat more a person walked towards them and asked

"Who is Lillith?"

Lillith answered quickly "It's Me"

he said

"You are next. please go over there" he pointed. Lillith hurriedly said bye to Daisy and went backstage.

"Too many people, too many eyes, still you are the best" Lillith said to herself being a little nervous. And as soon as the contestant stepped down she went up the stage confident, nervous and a bit scared and gave the performance of the song "If I Were You"

As soon as Lillith finished the song she could see the judge and the audience being in a daze, Lillith stepped down the stage and saw Daisy running towards her with a huge smile

"So...tell me? how was it?" Lillith questioned. "Only one word 'FANTASTIC' even the judges were amazed after listening the song. I just wonder how come you always have such a beautiful words to put in your songs"

"hahaha...." Lillith laughed and added "that's what is called talent "

The competition came to an end

Lillith looked around, everyone was waiting for their results nervously. and the host announced the winner "And the winner is.....Lillith" tear of happiness fells from Lillith's eyes.

She quickly run up the stage takes the award in her hand, gives a beautiful speech thanking everyone for their support.

And as the event is over the day comes to an ends

"Lillith let's go partying, it's such an awesome day "

"No, my parents are waiting at home, sorry dear, we'll surely go partying next time, promise."

Lillith denied with a lie.

but she knew Daisy would let her go with that excuse

"Oh! okay! they must be preparing to celebrate your great victory, it's ok let's celebrate it next time, then...I'll leave, bye"

They both walk together till the parking lot, with Daisy holding Lillith's trophy all the time and praising it as they walk.

After reaching near their cars, they both say bye to each other.

As always, Daisy being dramatic and acting as if she does not want to get separated from Lillith.

Finally after all the drama, laughing, chatting and bullying passerby, came to an end and they bid the final bye to each other

And soon both of them drove their cars and went on two separate ways 'HOME'

To stay alone might not be something important to people out there,

but for Lillith it is as important as oxygen.

Since she was young she had only one wish and that is to have a house of her own and live completely alone.

No dramas

Like....

She always believed

'it's already hard to handle herself, why bare a burden of other person. No dramas, no quarrels, life becomes peaceful and easy.'

But, at the end of the day.

Everyone wishes to have one person who would care for them and be by their side, maybe things would not have turned out like this, if there would have been a person in Lillith's life,

but after another thought, she's actually better off, alone.

She reached home and looked around

she knew there would be no one in her house.

She opens the doors lazily

and jumps on the couch being hell tired.

She took her phone out of her purse to browse and there were plenty of people wishing her congratulations and sending love

wait, did they just tell me they love me? huh" she sneered

Lillith could bear anything the world would bring to her, accept one the word 'LOVE' she hated the word too much. She would forgive anyone for anything but would never ever forgive herself if she ever fell in love.

CEO of the famous company in the country "Light Singers Company"

"Are we done with buying the company?" Lucas asked his assistant

"No Sir, not yet!" his assistant replied

"It's been 2 days now. When is it going to be completed? If you are not able to do your work properly, get your money and get lost from here" Lucas said in rage

"Sorry, Sir I'll get it done right away" saying this Assistant Jason ran away

Everyone in the company knew, CEO in normal days was very majestic, happy and considerate but today was going to be very long day, since the President had went to meet his family before arriving at the company.

Everyone in the city knew how desperately Mr. and Mrs. William is waiting for the President to have a girlfriend. Thus, everyone guessed that his parents must have asked him to find a girl for himself. Hence, today they would be happy if they could go home alive, in one piece.

*In the President office*

"Jason, tell everyone today there'll be a meeting ask everyone to attend it" Lucas said. Darkness visible in his words

"Okay, I'll inform them, they are going to die today." Jason said in a low voice

"What???" Lucas asked gloomily with one eyebrow raised, not exactly knowing what his assistant said.

"No, Nothing, I'll inform them" Jason walked out of the office.

As soon the door was closed Lucas slammed the file on the table in anger

"Damn! this girlfriend, can't I just live my life on my own? why there have to be a girl?" Lucas spoke to himself with full of irritation. When he was about to get up to go in the meeting room the phone rang.

His frustration got a bit less after seeing the caller ID. It was Daniel. He picked up his call.

Lucas. : "Hey!"

Daniel :"Are you missing me, Your voice is so dull"

Lucas. :"Aren't you enjoying in America? why are you bothering me at working hours? "

Daniel :"Common! as if you care about working hours, you always work overtime, God knows how"

Lucas. :"If you've got nothing important to say then I'm gonna hung up"

Daniel :"No, no, no, no wait, today I'm back from America my sister is treating, join us, will you?"

Lucas. :"No, I've got work to do I can't come"

Daniel :"You didn't even bother saying bye while I was going to America, now you don't even want to come when I'm back...If you don't come today I'm never going to pick up your call"

Lucas :"Ok-ok stop with your drama I'll be there"

Daniel :"Ok, then I'll send you the location and time, have your work done quickly then join us, bye"

as soon as the conversation was over Lucas hung up.

Oh! God! how can this man be never out of drama.

Anyways, now I've to attend a party as well,

"Are we done with the last project?" Lucas questioned

"A week? What the hell are you all doing? I want it to be done in 3 days, I don't care if you are going to work overtime or whatever, if I don't get the project done in 3 days, then submit your resignation letter and get the hell out of here. Meeting is dismissed,

The employees all shuddered and ran to complete their work.

Jason bought some water to cool him down and everyone thought it did work as a matter of fact.

Lucas also went on, with his work

And like a fly, time flee.

Lucas was too much engrossed in his work suddenly his phone rang. It was Daniel again, he picked it up.

Lucas. :"Do you really have no work to do?"

Daniel :"Now, that means you are still working, did you forget what you promised?"

"No, I'll be there on time, you don't have to worry" Lucas said lazily

Daniel :"Ok, Now that you've said that let me reveal a secret, there will be special guest with us..."

Lucas. :"Are you again shipping me with someone? Did you already forget the punishment I gave you last time?"

Daniel :"No, just my sister is gonna bring her friend along"

Lucas :"Whatever, if you ship me again with any person, you are going to see the consequences, now stop disturbing me, I have work to do."

Before Daniel could say anything more the phone was disconnected

And Lucas already imagined his friend's irritation.

The president was on his way to the party

Everyone in the company breathed a sigh of relief as soon as they saw him going out.

*Lillith's house*

Lillith was busy writing her song, and the phone rang

"Hello, Daisy what's up?" she asked casually

"Hey! are you free tonight?" Daisy questioned

"Yes, are you coming over tonight?" Lillith asked in confusion, since Daisy loved spending her time with her.

"No, my brother is back home after a long time, so there's going to be a welcome party, you have to be present, there won't be many people."

"Daniel is back, that's great, but do I really have to go?" Lillith questioned in amazement.

"Yes, since your victory party is still remaining let's celebrate it together, so I believe you are going to come." Daisy argued.

Lillith thought for a while before answering and finally made a decision

"Ok, I'll go, send me the address"

"Then, I'll wait to see you soon, don't be late, bye" with joy Daisy hung up.

Lillith actually never liked parties

but she had to attend it since Daniel is back after a really long time and also there wouldn't be 2 separate parties, it's like killing 2 birds with a stone.

* 8 o'clock at Haven Restaurant near parking area *

Lucas, while parking his car saw a small girl crying from a distance, before he could go to help her, he saw a beautiful women went to her and helped her find her parents.

He tried his best to see the women's face, but wasn't able to, he could only see her eyes, and thought to himself

'Damn, those lotus eyes, men would kill themselves just to have a look at them'

He was so engrossed in looking at her that he didn't even notice her figure fading from his eye sight and later when he realized, she was already gone

"Sh*t! how can I be such an Idiot to not ask her about her phone number or atleast her name, Damn it! I'm a real jerk!" with disappointment he made his way towards the restaurant, where Daniel was already present.

"Hey! bro, what took you so long?" Daniel question

"Why are you back suddenly? Your work in America is done?" Lucas asked in irritated tone

"You.....you, you are such a bad friend, you might as well push me in hell, I'm such a pity person, boo.....boo...no one cares about me, not even my only bestfriend...boo...boo....you are not even happy that I'm back"

Daniel acted as if he's gonna cry with heartbreak

"Stop with the drama, didn't you say, your sister and her friend is gonna join us, what happened?" Lucas asked.

"Oh! I see, you miss girls now." Daniel teased

"No, I just feel I'll be less bothered if you are surrounded by people" Lucas said indifferently

Daniel pouted "I must have done something wrong in my past life to get a friend so cruel...boo...boo"

Daniel acted again but suddenly the door opened which startled Daniel.

"Do you guys wanna kill people with heart attack." Daniel said as he saw Daisy and Lillith walking inside "Anyways, what took you so long?" Daniel questioned to Daisy and Lillith.

Daisy answered "Lillith was lost in the hotel, it took me a lot of time to find her and get her here"

Lucas was busy thinking about the woman he saw. He didn't even bother to look at the women who came just now, until he heard her voice.

Lillith also answered to Daniel

"I'm sorry, it was my fault"

And soon Lucas looked up as if he was hypnotized by what he saw, the same eyes which he could never forget, her voice can even touch the heart of devil and turn him into a saint, her charm was extremely mesmerizing.

"You have to compensate for being late." Daniel said mockingly.

"And...what I've to do for compensation?" Lillith asked with confidence.

"let me introduce you first. This is Lillith, her songs is like heaven and this is Lucas my bestfriend" Daniel introduced genuinely

Lillith greeted with a smile "Hello"

Lucas wasn't able to say a word and just smiled.

Daisy said "Lillith, why don't you sing a song as compensation"

"That is a great idea!" Daniel agreed with Daisy.

Lillith said "Ya, sure"

Singing a song was just a piece of cake for Lillith. So without any hesitation she sang the song of

Lucas wasn't able to get his eyes off her the whole time, he thought she was just like an angel and that she was meant to be with him.

After Lillith finished singing, everyone had fun, drinking, eating, chatting and even Daisy and Daniel sang songs.

When the party came to an end Daniel and Daisy had drank alot and almost lost their consciousness, Lillith didn't like drinking

So she drank very less and Lucas was too absorbed in observing her, thus he also didn't drink much.

It was midnight so they decided to leave

Lucas called Jason and said "Take Daniel and Daisy home." and Jason did as he was instructed and went to drop them.

*While Lillith and Lucas was alone on the streets*

For the first time Lucas spoke to Lillith

"How are you going to go home?" with a gentle tone.

"I'll take a taxi" Lillith said casually

"Let me drop you." Lucas said asking her to sit on his car.

"No, it's ok, I'll just take a taxi"

"Do you think, you'll get a taxi at this time?" Lucas questioned

Lillith looked around and realized that there was not a single soul visible

"Just get in" Lucas said again

"uh....ok" and finally Lillith sat on his car and directed him towards her house.

*After they reached near Lillith's villa*

"Thank you very much" after thanking him for dropping her,

Lillith walked towards her home

Lucas watched her walk in her house, then drove to his house, he was way too much happy, since he now knew where he could find the beautiful lady he met tonight.
