Pain..

Riley Zheng woke up in an unfamiliar room feeling pain all over her body. She slowly got up and realized that she was actually n****.

"What the... ", She was quite shocked.

'Wasn't I drinking with George last night? Why am I n****... Don't tell me.....I slept with George.. ',she thought and looked at the man sleeping beside her,only to make her more shocked.

It is actually her husband- the one she married yesterday and ran away right after the ceremony?How the hell did she end up with him?

She was clearly with George last night.

She took a deep breathe and looked at the time, it was 5 in the morning.

she tried to get up quietly but fell down because of the pain.She looked at Jadon Li and thought,

'Thank god he didn't wake up...is he a monster? It hurts so badly',she thought and walked into the bathroom to take a quick shower before taking her things and heading out.

On the way she couldn't stop wondering what happened.

George is not someone to give her to a man when she was that drank.

She decided to give George a call to ask him what happened.

George answered after 3 rings. "Hey Riley, are you alright?",He sounded a little worried.

Riley was angry and said, "I am not!! How the hell did I end up with Jadon Li when I was clearly with you? " She questioned him.

"I am sorry. Last night you were angry with your family and drank a lot. I couldn't stop you no matter what. After you were drunk, I wanted to take you home but Jadon Li suddenly came with a lot of bodyguards and wanted to take you away. I tried to stop him but I was knocked out by his bodyguards. If it was some other day I would have won but I was also a little drank so I couldn't fight back. I'm sorry.Are you alright? he didn't do anything, did he? ", he said guiltily.

Riley knows that if she tells the truth,he will definitely tell William everything so she decided to hide it for now.

"no nothing happened. I was just shocked that I ended up in his place. I am alright don't worry", she said and signed.

George felt something was wrong after he heard her sign.He wanted to ask what was wrong.

But before he could say anything, Riley interrupted, "I have something to do today so I will be a little late for work. Help me cancel the morning meeting", "sure, Riley but are you sure you are okay?",he asked.

" of course I am fine I just have something to do that's all. I have to hung up now I am driving, bye", she said and quickly hung up.

George grew up with her so he can tell what she was thinking just from her tone.That's why she didn't give him a chance to ask more.

She didn't want to let him know what happened last night. And if she could, she herself wanted to forget everything about last night. She had never thought that she would lose her virginity like that.

She was both sad and angry. Not at anyone but at herself, she overestimated herself and thought her plan would work out without any trouble. Maybe this is the lesson she had to learn for her stupidity. She should never be sad over the things Zheng family has done to her. She should have never thought of them as family in the first place.

After hanging up, she went directly to the knoll behind their College. She used to go there whenever she felt sad.

She drived there,packed the car and went up.From there she could see the school clearly.

When she was a student she would usually skip classes to come here and draw.

She misses that time a lot. She didn't have a good relationship with her family but she thought at least her grandpa loved her but she was wrong.

He married her off to someone she didn't even know for his business.

A week before the wedding,

"I don't want to get married!", Riley said feeling both angry and disappointed.

" The Li family is rich and powerful. Everyone want to be their daughter-in-law. Why don't you want to marry young master Li? "her grandpa questioned.

"Because I don't love him. And you know I have someone I love", she said.

"He is dead, Riley.He died three years ago.Do you want to stay single for the rest of your life because of him?",Jack Zheng, her grandpa said hitting on the table.

" It's non of your business ", she said with tears in her eyes. Everyone knows that her biggest scar is the accident 3 years ago.

" I will tell you for the last time, I am not getting married to anyone!"she continued.

"What if I promise to give you the things Edward left for you if you get married" ,Her grandpa said when she turned around to left.

Edward Zheng is her little uncle. She grew up with him and he was the only one who treated her well and loved her unconditionally. Unfortunately, he also passed away in the accident three years ago.

She was stunned and asked with shaking voice, "You mean the necklace? ".She remembers that her little uncle told her once that the necklace is very important and that she has to keep it safe. But the people from Zheng family played tricks and didn't give her the necklace when she asked.

" Yes", her grandpa answered, "you know that it was written in his will that if you get married one day, the necklace will be yours" he continued."So are you willing to get married now?".

Riley thought for a moment. Although she didn't want to get married, the necklace is very important for her. She has been trying to get that necklace for 3 years. So she decided to get married.

"ok fine I will get married to young master Li but you better not go back on your words", she said angrily and left.

Before she walked away, she heard her grandpa shouted, " remember, all I do is for your own good".

Riley sneered and walled away. For her own good? What a joke! If it was for her good why did he forced her to get married to someone who is rumoured to be heartless. Well, she didn't actually cared whether Young Master Li is heartless or not. She just didn't want to marry someone else.

She went to George's place to update him with the current situation.

"Riley, how was the talk with your grandpa?", he asked.

" I am getting married next week", she said feeling lazy to explain any further.

"what?!", he asked, hoping he heard her wrong, " Didn't you go to the Zheng family to cancel the wedding? Did you failed? Do you want me to call William for help?", he said and picked up his phone to give William a call.

"don't", Riley stopped him hurriedly and said, " listen to me first, Grandpa promised to give me the necklace if I get married ", she said.

" THAT NECKLACE?? ", he asked and Riley answered with a yes. " but still you don't have to get married for that. There must be another way, let me call William ", He insisted.

" No don't tell brother. I have a plan", she said and took George's phone so he couldn't call William, " What is it",he asked.

"You remember our investigation shows that Jadon Li has a beloved girl in his heart so I am sure he is also forced to get married. We will just sign the divorce paper on the wedding night. You just need to make sure no news of our wedding should be seen on the news and everything will be alright",she stated.

"ok I can do that but still we have to tell William about it or he would kill me if he finds out we lied to him",George said.

"don't worry, he won't be back until next month and after he comes back everything will be back to normal. He won't ever find out.And also it doesn't count as lying if he never asked",she said and went into the kitchen to fetch something to eat as she was hungry.

She ate some strawberry with chocolate and discussed the plan further with George and after awhile she left.

On the wedding day,

Riley was changing when she heard a knock on the door and she opened. George came in with some documents.

"Riley, you look beautiful today", he said." I would say that about myself too if the groom was him", she answered.

"I'm sorry,I didn't mean to remind you of him", he said guiltily. " It's alright.What brought you here? ".

"I have something important to tell you. Although we haven't found any real evidence yet, we can be sure that the accident does have something to do with the Zheng family.", he said carefully and give her the documents in his hands and also his phone to show her the video.

The video was about her father,her eldest uncle and her little uncle. A week before the accident, both of them meet up with her little uncle and it seemed like they were arguing about something and then according to her uncle lips he said, " I will forgive you for whatever you did in the past. But I am warning don't you dare do anything more or you will have to pay for it".

Riley was furious and asked, "did you give this to the police?", " yes I did but they said that it can't be used as a evidence because it doesn't have a voice clip. And that it was nothing more then brothers meeting up to talk."

Riley was more angry after she heard that. She knows that the accident has something to do with her family but she has been looking for evidence for three years and found nothing. And now, even the police are bribed.

"Let's keep investigating, I am sure we will find something useful", she said.

" alright.... oh yeah the wedding is about to start. Your grandpa asked me to tell you to hurry" with that he left. It hurts him to see Riley marrying someone else.

Riley called the stylist in again and told her to hurry up. Just like that she got married.

The wedding guests and the reporters were surprised when it was Riley getting married and not Emily, as Riley was never been on the news, they thought the Zheng family had only one miss, who was now a famous actress, Emily Zheng. Riley being the eldest miss was unknown to everyone, including Jadon, he thought he was marrying Emily.

As she was thinking, she heard someone say from behind, "I knew you would be here", she turned around and it was George. " What are you doing here? ", she asked.

" Your voice didn't sound right in the phone so I thought something was wrong and I knew you would come here whenever you are upset. So tell me what's wrong?"he asked.

"nothing, I am alright. I just missed this place so I came. Don't think too much",she said and looked away.

Although George can tells that something was wrong with her, he didn't want to put pressure on her so he didn't continue to ask. "Alright but I have a bad new for you" he said.

"Why do I have a very bad feeling about it?", she asked. " you should, because William found out about your marriage and he said he will be back in two days", he said with a worried tone.

"What?!!", Riley was stunned, " how did he find out?", she asked.

"Well, I blocked all the media from releasing the news but someone posted on the internet saying that the eldest miss of Zheng family married the young master of the Li family. And Alex(William's secretary)accidentally saw that and showed William.We haven't succeed in divorce yet what should we do?"he said and rubbed his temples.

"Alex is really a cable secretary, huh?" Riley said feeling angry. "George, help me book a month vacation to somewhere far away. I don't want to meet William", she pleaded with cute eyes.

" Sorry Riley but William told me not to let you go anywhere until he come back", he said and smiled.

"whose best friend are you, mine or William's?", she asked. " Of course yours but you know William. He is scary", he said that and got up.

"The young master of the Lu family is afraid of my brother? what a joke, " Riley said and rolled her eyes. "oh please missy, your dear brother is the president of Smith cooperation,the second largest group in country Z. Even my father is afraid of him".

"whatever", Riley said and thought about how to appease her brother.As she was thinking, George asked, " I am going to buy something to eat from the shop down there. The usual for you?", and Riley answered with a nod.
