Lucy's scream was loud enough to wake up Harry. Harry woke up to find out Brian and Lucy staring at him with their eyes wide open. He first felt his mouth, nothing was wrong with it. " What is it? " he asked in an irritated tone.

" What is that lizard doing on your bed? " Brian asked in a horrified way.

" What? Lizard? Where is it? ". Harry turned around to check if there was any lizard there and... SPRANG!!! He jumped out of the bed.

There it laid, dirty green in colour, a pretty long tail.

For a moment it kept Harry really wondering, " What is this lizard really doing here? ". He stared into its eyes and the lizard gave a wink as it hurried past the window, out in the open.

Sister Violet came rushing in and asked, "What is going on here? "

" Nothing, sister. It was just a tiny lizard" Brian replied.

The sister groaned and went down stairs.

" So you call that lizard tiny, do you? " asked Harry as he was still wondering why did the lizard wink.

" Shut up! It's already 8 am and you are late for breakfast. Go and have it quickly. We will wait for you in the classroom.

Oh no... I forgot to introduce you all to my characters. Let me introduce them.

Harry and Lucy, brother and sister, lost their mom and dad in a car accident and as they have no relatives, they were taken by a small orphanage which was at the outskirts of the Greenwood emerald City. The orphanage was taken care by a woman whom the kids lovingly called as Rose and her daughter " Sister Violet ". Along with Harry and Lucy, five other kids lived with them in the orphanage, Brian, Ava and George.

They had a special bonding with each other as they were together since a very small age. The school where they used to go was a small building situated on the gentle grass slope in front of the orphanage. The church was also situated on the slope. Shepherds were frequently seen taking their sheeps out for grazing. A road ran between the grassy slope and the orphanage, heading straight to the famous Hillwoods mansion to the east and the Greenwood emerald City to the West. Further north there was a small playground with the orphanage and then there was a dense forest which no human had ever crossed. The gentle slopes led further south to a road parallel to the road in front of the orphanage. These two roads were connected by a thin cycle track, a kucha road. On crossing the second road, one would reach another forest which, when crossed, would lead to the Fortsward town.

Now talking about the forest, north of the orphanage. It was unclear to the children as to why people feared to travel through the forest. They had heard many people trying to go through the forest but never returning. " Well they might have found a new city there and might be living there" the children said.

They have seen so little of this world, their world was within the limits of the orphanage, under the protection of their Sister and Rose.

How will they know what roams around beyond those boundaries?

Harry found himself waking at the stoke of midnight. He wondered what made him awake when he suddenly realised he was all alone in the room. Lucy and Brian's bed was empty.

"Damn. Where did they go at midnight? "

Harry walked stood up and walked past the door. Everything was dark. He couldn't see a thing. He still came down the stairs somehow and managed to peep inside the room behind the kitchen where the Sisters used to sleep.

Whatever he saw made fear run through his spine.

A body covered in full white sheet was standing in front of him. He could hardly see anything but he could already guess from the moon light coming from the with dow behind that the body was not a human body. A "creature" would very well define it.

The white clad creature was slowly holding out it's hands towards Harry. This was too much for Harry to stand and see. He screamed and ran so fast. He didn't even know where he was going but he just ran and ran untill he stumbled upon a small rock and fell down.

Black out.

"Yo Harry. Wake up. Go go fast!!! " yelled Lucy.

" You will be again late for the classes buddy! " said Brian.

Harry could see through how much little his eyes could open, that his sister and Brian were all ready for a new day. He quickly took a bath and went to have his breakfast down at the kitchen. On entering the kitchen he suddenly remembered something... something familiar.

" Oh no I nearly forgot about the nightmare I had yesterday night" Harry sighed with relief.

" Oh so you had a nightmare eh? That's why I was thinking why we're you screaming last night. I tried to wake you up but all you said was - Oh it's nothing. God will take care. So I thought you were joking or something so I didn't bother much and went to sleep" said Brian.

Brian was Harry's bestie. They were all together since they came here at this orphanage.

Everything went on normal that day. The Sisters were in a good mood and gave the children two playing periods.

Playing periods were always the most loved periods of all. The children would be free to play anything in the ground. The boys used to play football while the girls used to play some other games. Sometimes there would be a football match between the boys and the girls. They used to enjoy these periods a lot.

The day went fast and night soon peeped in. All were asked to come down for dinner. They had their dinner and then went to bed. The whole day went very nice but it was not nice what discovered while he was going to bed.

Like other girls, Lucy loved playing with dolls. She had seven dolls with which she played but only one of them was her favorite. The doll was kept on her bed. There was no problem with it unless....

The doll winked.

Harry was surprised and shoked. His eyes might have deceived him. Then the doll gave a big and wide smile.

" THE DOLL SMILED AT ME!!!! " Harry screamed with fear.
