Day 1

Ten days ago

I was on my bed, sweat dripping slowly down my head ,

breathing furiously, eyes closed, throat dry, meanwhile

my mind running wild, my head slowly pressed on my pillow, dreaming, am at a place totally unfamiliar to me, a place as bright as the sun and I feel surprisingly comfortable here,

next I hear someone screaming my name, it sounds like the voice of a middle aged man but soft, he keeps screaming "DAVID!!!, DAVID!!!",

Then I wake up only to see my brother calling my name urging me to hurry up for school .

Oh let me introduce myself, I am David, an average 15 year old kid who only believes that "ignorance is bliss" I do nothing more than to spend my life as calmly, peaceful, and as ordinary as I can be, I've already planned out everything I need to do to survive this wreckage of a life and trust me its legit, all I need to do is survive highschool, get into college, study hard and boom!!, easy life, well so I thought.

Highschool sort of felt like a drag, learning too many things that I probably won't need, but I bore with it, I always thought life would be so easy but now I know I was terribly wrong.

glass house highschool

Class had started, but I kept reminiscing on the dream I had, I know it makes no sense but I actually felt like I was trapped there, like I wasn't going to be able to wake up, and worse like I knew I wasn't going to wake up. class continues I decide to just shrugged the thought off, school ends, am going home then I hear it, that voice, "David, DAVID!!!!, you know the usual I think its my head toying with me, I head home, jumped on my bed and head straight to sleep, and i know~

"how can I just head to sleep after last time? ",

but what can I do its my nature and now something totally wrong happened, I wish I had known that the point I had slept off, would put me in a whole lot of shit before I see my world again .

My name is David and I have only one goal to be as normal as everyone, but it seems all that is going to end .

Am asleep again and that voice calls me but damn,

its more clearer and louder, I don't think am comfortable with it but I can't stop hearing it , well I guess I can't do anything about it , and is it me or is my dream too vague to be actually... a dream , I see a room but it doesn't look like my room , wait am I awake? or still asleep? , this is too strange , oh and the voice stopped , well that's good cause it was getting unbearable , the air here feels cooler for some reason and am lying on a bed but the bed feels..comfy..Real comfy, wait I just sat up and these clothes am wearing are really weird but AWESOME!! ,

its like the mixture of a dragon and armor , wait okay this is too weird I want to wake up , I try slapping myself a few times but nothing happened , I panic and run out of the room and I see something...WRONG! , there isn't anything here but some kind of large weird ANIMALS!!! , like BEASTS and oh sh*t they noticed me

Meanwhile

At home

"Yo David your sleeping already?, at least have some lunch first"

*confused* ,

"yo David I said get up!! ,

what the?, didn't you here me get up" ,

David's eyelids finally open but a bloodshot red eye stares dead straight at his brother , David's brother stands at the corner of the room scared as hell to what just happened , he slowly stands up and says "..okay.. you got me now... could you stop that" the only reply he gets is a thunderous roar that shakes the entire building.

Back in David's dream

"Oh no , oh no , oh no I've got to get outta here and quick or else who knows what's going to happen" , I run straight into the room I came from only to see a sword out of nowhere on the ground, "I don't remember that being there before , well who cares I don't exactly have a choice here" , I grab the sword and I feel an incredible burst of courage and energy in me like a bloody warrior ready for battle and I said to myself " I don't know why this is happening but.." a sudden smirk appeared on my face and I finished my sentence "...I LIKE IT!" immediately the beasts swarm around me , surrounding me like their prey but I knew....It was the other way around , all the beasts leaped at the same time but before they knew it , the sword as sharp as light rose up with its thirst for blood like a hungry dog , rode down on them emitting a red warlike aura and one by one the beasts were cut down with there blood vaporizing due to the immense power of the sword and after all was dead , the bloody smile on my face had returned to normal as so as the sword's aura had reduced , so did a voice say out of nowhere "well done" , startled I turn around to see the room vanished and my self in front of a man wearing what seems to be a pure white robe but emitting a powerful aura of a superior and what ran through my mind was "This must be the gateman of my head, wow, he feels powerful" but then it dawned on me that there was actually a living person here so I hurriedly asked "please tell me how do I wake up , what should I do" but he replied in a serious tone "what do you mean by wake up, am sorry to say but your staying here FOREVER" , i suddenly replied " wait WHAT!

I was shocked by the sudden reply the strange man had given me.

I still tried my best and I mean my BEST to keep calm. I took a deep breathe and said "could you please repeat what you just said" and he said in a nonchalant tone "your stuck here", I suddenly had the urge to just punch this dude but I kept calm and asked " why am I here" and he said in a very annoying tone " to do my biding".

I... had...lost it, I didn't care who this dude was but I knew that he needed to go, maybe after I cut him down, I would wake up, but I now realise that it was a huge mistake to have even imagined that, because the moment I rose my sword up, I began to feel a slight pain at a certain Important part of my body, only for me to see a huge spear hooked right there, ready to strike , then he said "I have heard that the male humans, value this part of their body dearly, or am I wrong?", with a terrified face I slowly shook my head, but he said " Are you sure?, I don't see why its so important " then I fiercely shook my head saying ".. No.. sir...it..it is very important" then he retracted his spear from me and i let out a satisfied burst of air, and he said "let that be a warning to you", I nodded happily, thankful that things didn't go wrong.

David's house

After the thunderous roar that occurred, a voice had spoken and said "LET ME TAKE CONTROL!!!, WE HAD A DEAL!!!", while David's body seemed to be unmoving, it kept shouting like it was arguing with someone.

By then, David's elder brother Lucas had gotten some chains from their basement and chained David to the bed, unfortunately for the brothers their parents were abroad and Lucas had no one he could ask for help.

Lucas stood there sweating, still shocked, still surprised at what had happened, with his red shirt that had now been dyed to a deeper shade of red by his sweat and his long jean pants, Lucas stared at what he saw in front of him, asking himself "is this still my brother or a demon", then it had seemed to be that the "thing" on the bed had noticed him, then it smoothly bent its neck 90 degrees and smiled like a lion who just found a lamb to devour, Lucas had seen it had noticed him and said "whatever you are leave my brother's body, NOW!!!!", Lucas was shocked when it started laughing, saying " Hahahaha, you actually think, I would listen to you, ha, you must be joking, hahahaha.

David's dream

"please, please, please, am begging you, I want to wake up" I said, the strange man said " very well, since you desire to wake up, I have a proposition, I will let you wake for only 10 seconds, then your going to return, and if you can complete the quests I have for you, then you will wake up and sleep normally, okay" then he put his hand out to shake me , saying "deal?", I shook his hand and immediately, I woke up In my room, my bed and, " why was I chained?".I am in a weird situation, what runs through my mind is " Am I still in a dream?,No, Lucas is here ",I ask Lucas " hey Lucas why am I in chains?", I stare at Lucas who looks like he's just seen a ghost. Wait oh yeah, 10 seconds, "Lucas, I won't be able to wake up for a while, so take care of my body, if any thing goes wrong take me to a hospital ", Lucas regained his senses and said " what do you mean you won't be able to wake up!? ", before I could answer I fell asleep.

I could see a multicolored gate in a bright world of nothingness, I sighed heavily.

Again, in this world, that is supposedly inside my head, I didn't think I could ever enter this kind of situation but I don't have a choice anymore. I pushed open the gate and I perceived a smell that I could not resist, it was like the mixture of milk and honey, so delicious i could cry but when I looked over I just saw a bunch of freshly baked bread on top of a finely designed bowl sitting on a golden table all in a white background of nothingness, but how could they smell...smell..... so divine, I walked over, about to dig in but I then thought why would there be freshly baked bread in a place like this. I slapped myself to concentrate and I focused on the surroundings, in all the games I've played, anything similar to this is normally a trap, so I gently used the edge of my sword to pick up one of the bread laying on the finely designed bowl and immediately the table turned into a mouth that tried to chew off my sword. After pulling it out forcefully, I slashed down at the table shattering it to pieces.

Then I began to think if I had acted rashly and grabbed the bread,

my hand would have been chewed off,

and if it did get chewed off, would my hand in reality get chewed off too?, or just my subconscious only to slowly disappear totally!!!?, I had so many questions in my head only for me to slowly notice another gate.

This time, the gate was coloured in pink!!. What did the different colors mean? and what are these?, tests? I didn't understand a thing but I went in and what I saw were three beautiful ladies all calling my name, it was so arousing, they were 'the whole package', this was the ultimate temptation, they were dressed in clothes that were seriously revealing, with bodies that were so curvaceous, but I knew, I knew this was also a trap, so I took my sword and used the tip to touch one of the women, but it didn't get chewed up like before, instead she was caressing it in a very lustful manner, I then thought, maybe its not a test, maybe this is a reward for passing the other tests,

but i resisted yet again, then I knew in order to pass this test I had to use...other means, so i heaved up my sword and slashed down at the three of them and they were eliminated in a flash. I started hearing laughter, then I recognised it, it was the laughter of that strange man, he then said " hahahaha, I can see that you passed the temptations but you almost lost it at the second temptation, well done " , I then asked "what is your name" he then answered " my name is..David"...

MEANWHILE

IN DAVID'S BEDROOM

Lucas was still confused, walking Left and right.

That demonic voice came from David's body again and said "hey Lucas, could you unlock these chains, they feel a little tight, its me David, your brother" with a bone chilling smile as the demon ended its words. lucas had already become fully focused, he got up from the edge of the room, looked at the demon and said "so..what are you, if you tell me I might... consider unlocking the chains", the demon hurriedly said"my name is Az I am a mystical being who has come to bring happiness to the world" then Lucas just replied with an "okay" then went out to bring something, only to come back with a gallon filled with some kind of substance, then he carried a cup full and poured on Az which led to the screaming of Az, then Lucas said "so... you are basically a demon, now next question, why are in my brothers body, oh and just so you know any lie is equivalent to torture", Az was perplexed as he said" don't you care about your brother feeling pain too or his body getting injured? " only to hear a full hearted reply"don't worry, my brother ain't here right now, you are" then he began the questioning.

MEANWHILE

IN DAVID'S DREAM

"What did you mean your name is David"

"trust me its just a coincidence, nothing much, now remember those quests you said you would do for me, well brace yourself cause its not going to be easy"

at the thought of what he meant made me scared to see the quests he will send me on so I said"what do you mean not going to be easy " then he said with a smile " don't worry, You will see"

Yep, just another normal day in my head, I really wish that this was all a bad dream but I guess there's nothing I can do now, back to the 'Quest' this guy was talking about.

He said,

" for your first quest, you are to retrieve one little thing called the 'Chains Of Barbados' I will take you there so prepare yourself " before I could ask any questions I saw myself in a place where the sky is red with a huge medieval tower in front of me, I felt like killing that guy, he couldn't even give me any good information, well who cares, am just going to go in get it and come out, wait am I not forgetting something?, if I do get the chains HOW AM I GOING TO GET BACK TO THAT GUY.

I sigh heavily and just walk in through a wooden door that looks so old with a dark red kind of colour, I begin to pass through a long hall that is filled with weapons and some bones, like human bones.

"I don't think anyone has been here thousands of years, and i need to figure out a name for that guy cause I can't call him David thats just weird seeing that its similar to my name so maybe I'll call him Mr D?, general?, or maybe a piece of sh*t, oh I got it I'll just call him 'X', that'll be easy to remember now back to the quest".

'To look for the Chains Of Barbados am guessing they are actual chains but what would Mr X be doing with chains....well who cares lemme just hurry up and get outta here'.

After I pass the hall,

I enter another door that looks just like the first door I just went through, after I move a little, I feel a little breeze behind me and I turn around only to see that the door I just went through had disappeared!!, leaving only a deep dark endless pit,

"SH*T!",

i freaked out knowing there is no going back, I kept moving only to now notice that after i went through that door, I had arrived at a hall with a giant nest in it, more bigger than an average human man, I climb the nest and inside I see three huge eggs up to the size of a human man, this only makes me wonder how big is the mother that laid these eggs, I slowly make my way away from the eggs, I look forward and I see no more doors, then I realise something shocking, if the mother of these eggs could not have gone out of here through any doors, then that means and slowly i look up to see two huge red reptile eyes staring at me and I feel ten thousand chills run down my back, then it slowly opens it's mouth, roars and starts to glide straight down to me and I get a better view of it and realise its a

'DRAGON!!!',

I don't know what to do cause I am scared witless, I hold up my sword with shaky hands and I look at the dragon's body and notice the chain around it's neck, it was a large chain coloured slightly red with other smaller chains strapped to it,

"wait don't tell me those are the Chains of Barbados",

so Mr X actually sent me to get chains from a dragon's neck!!!, the dragon finally reaches me and I jump and slice at the dragon's body with my sword and not even a dent was made, I instead propel backwards and hit my body on a wall, with my body aching i then look up and notice the ceiling is covered with metal rods but they have a lot of spacing between them

"I bet I could pass through them, I've found my way out but what about the chains",

I have an idea but it won't be easy.

The dragon charges at me again but stops in mid air opens its mouth and I see a swirl of fire in its mouth

"oh no its about to breathe fire, maybe my sword can help, um....sword reflecto....um....sword shield",

then a force field cover my whole body, I exclaim out of joy, fire pours at me but I don't even feel it, I feel powerful!!!!, I am facing a dragon and am not hurt in a any way, ha!!!,

but after the force field wears off, I feel horribly weak, I should've known this won't be easy, the dragon was shocked that I could resist its dragon fire, out of fear it flies up to gain distance between the both of us and while it flies up I grab its scaly tail, hop onto its back, cut the chain off with my sword and it cuts off like paper, the dragon flies to the top and I jump out with the sword at my back, my hand holding the Chains and my other hand gripping the ceiling.

I climb up seeing from the top of the castle, just before the dragon could spew it's fire breath I scream

" DAVID!!!!!!!",

suddenly I appear in front of Mr X, I furiously throw the chains at him and slash my sword at him continuously even though it didn't cause him any damage it was a good way to vent my anger, I then said

"so you sent me to a random area with no clue whatsoever that you should tell me about there being a dragon there?!!"!,

he just looks at me and says

"well I told you the quests would be difficult, you even damaged the chains for me, you could have just unbuckled the chains you know?, well this will do, I guess",

I then replied

"okay send me to my world now",

he then said in a comedic tone

"hahaha, I told you 'Quests' not 'Quest', there are still many more to come and each more harder than the last, hahahahaha",

then I gave a sudden reply

" Eh? ".
