I stood up my bed and went to look what was happening. "An attack? By who?" I was confused. No one dared to attack my castle. I, Hidou Cross, The Demon King fear nothing and all fear me... Except for my wife. She's hella crazy scary.

"my lord, a girl who claims to be a 'hero' is at the front gates attacking our walls. Your wife, Lacy is speaking with them, they said that they have come for you" Hellen said. I rushed outside by jumping out of the window. Running on air was faster than flying, but running consumes too much energy. With all my strength, I ran as fast as I could.

I arrived at the front gates where my wife is "dear, go back inside, I'll deal with them" I said to my wife with a smile. "be careful dear, I feel tremendous power within her." She said with an obvious worry on her face... After that, she left and went back to the castle. "How may I entertain you people?" I politely asked. The girl with beautiful long golden hair replied with a frown on her face "I cannot forgive you for what you have done Demon King!" I was shocked. I haven't left my kingdom for like, 2 years now, how did I hurt this person or any of this people? "Wh-what!? What did I even do to deserve this much hatred?" I asked. She pointed her giant sword at me and said "You! You killed my family, my friends, and everything in our kingdom! You sent those demons to our kingdom, and now, our kingdom is in ruins because of you!" filled with anger in her eyes, I didn't know what to do. Should I just kill them? Nah.. But I don't remember giving orders to destroy any kingdom.

I told her that I did not send any demons to their kingdom nor did I kill her family. I may be the Demon King but I'm not that cruel unless needed. I told her, but she didn't believe me. "please stop this, leave now or die" I threatened them so that they may leave, but it looks like it's not gonna work. She was filled with emotion, anger was building up inside her. With all her might, she jumped in front of me and slashed her sword, but I dodged it just in time. "Dont dodge my sword!" she shouted at me. "Who the f*ck would not dodge a giant sword swinging at them? Idiot!" I replied to her.

Again with all her might, she jumped and tried to slash me with her sword, she did this a few times until I got tired of dodging. As the sword was swinging down on me, I caught it with my bare hand. "thats enough now. I'm gettinf sleepy with all these nonsense. Leave now or feel my wrath" I said as I emitted killing intent towards her companions.

Her companions ran away leaving her, one of them peed their pants, and another..... Well, another passed away. "leave" I swinged my hand towards her creating a really powerful wind and she flew away. She flew into the wall damaging her and making her bleed. "Oops. I might have used a little too much force in that swing" I went to her to see if she was stil alive. Since you know me now, Leave" I swinged my hand towards her creating a really powerful wind and she flew away. She flew into the wall damaging her and making her bleed. "Oops. She was just unconscious.

A few days passed and I still have the same dream every night... I woke up one night, all sweaty and hot, I accidentally burned down a forest, but I restored it the next day.

Everyday, the Heroine would come to challenge me, again and again and again. I was having fun with her, unlike my boring wife who only married me because of my status... One night I had the same dream again. This time it started in my castle with me dying. As time passed in my dream, it came into the world where I always dreamed every night. "so this is what my dream was saying. Peace in the whole realm will be achieved if I died." I woke up that night and went outside to think.

As I was walking, my 7 subordinates came to me. Envy, Wrath, Sloth, Greed, Gluttony, Lust and Pride. We shared our last night together. I talked to them about what my plan is. They cried. Even Wrath who was always mad at me was crying. "don't cry my children, for I will always live on, you have my blood within you. Remember to keep the peace in both realms and keep an eye on the castle for me will you?" I felt regret, regretting to leave them behind. But I was relived at the same time knowing that my blood will run through the ages until the end. I only wished that I could meet my descendants.

The next day came. I was sitting in my throne waiting for the arrival of the Heroine. She arrived full of energy. "would you do me a favor Lacy the Heroine?" I asked. "what could the Demon King need from someone like me?" I was smiling at her, I stood up and walked up to her and touched her hand. "you are the most beautiful woman I have ever met" I took her sword and stabbed myself so that she would not be stained by my blood. So thay her pure soul can stay pure, forever. "IDIOT! WHAT DID YOU DO!?" She shouted at me and started crying. I kneeled down while the giant sword was stabbed into my heart. "Why are you crying? Aren't you glad that I will finally disappear in this world?" I said. Suddenly, she kissed me out of the blue. I was shocked as I was crumbling to dust. "Why?!" I asked. "I.... I..." I never heard her words, but as I was crumbling, I smiled and said my final words "take care..." She started to cry even more and hugged me even tighter. And then, I crumbled into dust. Leaving her behind, leaving all my achievements to waste, for the peace of the world. For her.

A different POV

Inside a dungeon, three friends are wandering around. "Let's head inside, Shin, Elaine. I want to see what treasures lies inside this dungeon" said by one guy "I think we should go back Loki. I don't want to get in trouble. Let's go Shin, before the president finds us" said by Elaine. "we've come this far Elaine, don't go backing out on us now" said by Shin.

*A few hours passed*

"Ughh! We've been walking for hours! And all we found was this stupid looking key" Loki said. "we should go back now Loki, there's nothing more here. I'm tired already, let's just go back now" Shin said. "FIIINNE!" Lokie replied with a frown on his face.

And so, they went back to where they walked, trying to retrace their steps. Shin and Loki were talking "Hey Shin, do you like Elaine?" Loki asked. "Wh-what? I-I-I..." Shin was blushing, He looked at Elaine who was walking in front of them, with every step she took, Shin was behind her. "I-I won't tell you!" Shin looked away from Loki while Loki laughed at Shin.

Since Shin was looking away, he accidentally bumped into Elaine. "Aw! Hey, watch where your going Shin!" Elaine said. "It's not my fault! Why did you even stop?" While they were arguing Loki was giggling at them. He kept walking. But then he also bumped into something. "what's...? What's this?" Loki was Shocked when he saw a Huge door in front of them. "There wasn't a door here before, was there? Where did it came from? HEY! You two, stop with your lover's quarrel and take a look at this" Loki said with his seriousness.

Elaine, and Shin looked up, looked down, they looked all around, but there was no other way around it. "Look! There's a key hole. I wonder...." Elaine pointed at the key hole that was on the door. She smiled bright as if she had an idea. She took out the key they found a while ago and tried to put it in the key hole. "Let's see if this works." Shin warned Elaine to be careful, he said there might be traps inside, but she still tried to put it in. *clank* "huh?" Elaine was shocked that the key didn't fit the hole. She tried over and over again but got pissed. "Ughh! Why isn't this working?! Urghh! This is really annoying!" she got frustrated and threw the key to the door. The key fell, suddenly it started floating. "What the F word?" Shin surprisingly said. The key started floating and glowing. After that, it went inside the door.

The door was now unlocked. They went inside to see what was in there... The three was shocked at what they saw inside. It was full of gold and treasures. "Naniii? We're gonna be rich!" Loki shouted. They dives into the large pile of gold and looked for valuable stuff.. Elaine found an Enchanted dress, Loki found a Magic scepter and Shin found a Dragon sword. They took everything that was inside and left with a smile on their face. Before they left the room, Elaine saw a pot. "guys, wait. There's something here. Look... This might contain some valuables" Elaine slowly opened the pot, but to their shock, it was only full of dust. Since it was full of dust. Elaine threw the pot behind... And then, the pot broke.

They all left the room, leaving with all kinds of treasures and magical items. With a smile on their faces, they climed back up the ground only to know that someone was waiting for them outside..

"And where have you all been?" said by the principal. "Shit! We've been caught. Hide the treasures, hurry! Before that bastard sees it." Loki said. Immediately after Loki said it, the two of them hid the treasures inside thei spacial rings. A spacial ring is a void where items can be hidden from sight.

"where have you all been? The lesson started ages ago. It's already 4:00pm. What? Tired of school already? Is that why you're cutting? Huh?" said the principal. "oh shut up you old hag" and just like that, they left while the old ha- I mean the principal was pissing mad.

A few months passed after the treasure hunting

-Inside the classroom of 1-A-

Class 1-A is where the three reside. After the events that happened a few months back, everything went back to normal for them. Or did it? Morning, Homeroom, their teacher went inside followed by a mysterious boy with dirty white hair. When the boy entered the students started to murmur different kinds of things. Rumors spreaded fast. Like... Really fast. The moment he entered the room, the whole school already found out about the new transferee.. Well that's what happens when rumors and communication magic combine together. Everyone will know very fast.

Their teacher introduced him to the other students "Settle down! Settle down!! Starting today, you're gonna have an unexpected transferred student from.....?" the man immediately answered "City of Skylark" the students where murmuring, wondering where that city was. "Hello everyone, My name is Hidou. Hidou Cross" The students were shocked when they heard the name 'Cross' it's been years since the name was mentioned. Then one of the students stood up. He suddenly bursted out laughing "HAHAHAHA! What's a failure doing here?! Hahaha" then all the students laughed.

The man wondered why they were laughing. One of the students said "everyone knows that the Cross family has the weakest aptitude for magic! HAHAHA" Another student added "the Cross family has never entered this school ever since THE incident happened" a few moments of laughter, but the man didn't care at all.

The three, Loki, Shin and Elaine was curious about the man. Where did he came from? Why did he just suddenly appeared? What happened to his family? The man sat down behind and just started to listen to the lecture. Then he looked at Elaine who was so beautiful while listening to the lecture while Shin was looking at Hidou in a bad way.

HIDOU'S POV

it was just another normal day for me, floating inside something dark full of emptiness. Anywhere I looked it was too dark. How many years have I slept here? How long am I gonna be stuck here for? Can I get out of here already? Those were the questions I mostly asked myself.

One day, I saw a light inside the space of darkness. It was as if it was getting bigger and bigger. Then the light suddenly consumed my whole body. After that, I woke up inside a room full of toys, filled with bottles of milk and.... I was wearing a diaper. I tried to speak but I couldn't let out a single word, so I just thought to myself

"what happened? Why have I become an infant? Holy crap! I am not gonna shit in my pants!" then.... I shitted in my pants. It was the most embarrassing thing that I've ever experienced. Then I fell asleep.

A few hours later I started waking up

"look dear, he's waking up."

"He looks just like me, so handsome"

I slowly opened my eyes and saw a couple. At that moment, I knew that they were my parents. My mother, so beautiful with the most beautiful golden hair. And my father, who's.....just a normal looking guy.

"What should we name our son dear?" my mother asked.

My father replied with a lot of different names like "how about, Sword, or, or, Spear, or Slash" that's where I found out that my father is bad at naming things and he really likes swords. I looked at him with disgust and surprised them by standing up on my own.

"WHAT THE HELL IS THAT NAME! YOU DON'T NEED TO NAME ME! I ALREADY HAVE ONE. My name is Hidou Cross" they were surprised when I suddenly spoke. Because of the mana that I restored in a few hours, I could already speak.

My mother and father was shocked that made them stop moving. Then my father picked me up and raised me up and shouted

"A genius! Our son's a genius dear! Finally, our Cross family will finally rise!" then my mother started crying with joy.

"Grandir" I chanted.

Grandir is a spell which I created to make myself older. Then I grew or more precisely I sped up my growth to 9 years old. My father and mother were stupidly happy when they saw me grew, they were so happy that they kept yelling the word 'GENIUS' for hours.

I couldn't sit still inside the house and wait for something to happen. So I took a book from one of our shelves and read what happened these past years. My mother came inside my room and gave me a shining rectangle thing. I didn't know what it was.

"Honey, since you're a genius, I'll give this to you. Use it wisely" she said with a smile on her face.

Still, I didn't know what it was, so I asked her

"mother, what is this? I don't know how it works."

She sat beside me and she explained

"Hidou, dear. This thing is what we call a Magic Phone, or in short MaPhone. Here, try putting a little bit of your magic" so I did what she said. I put only the littlest magicI could in the MaPhone. Then it started glowing. I was surprised, there was never anything like this before. A few moments later, it broke. My mother was shocked.

"now I understand the structure of this device, La Réfection" La Réfection, a spell to repair or adjust small objects into better ones depending on the user's magic power.

My mother was sobbing, talking about how much that costed her. "I was saving that phone for years *sob* but now, it broke *sob*" She was crying by the corner. I went to her a d showed her the phone that I repaired. She was happy that the phone worth her lifetime savings were fixed. But I didn't told her that I adjusted it a little bit so that I can use my magic a little. Just a little.

5 hours passed since I first used Grandir. I've read all books that may contain information about this world, and apparently my Family is waaaaaay below power. I don't really need to worry about power, I'll just rise our family to the top. But this MaPhone that my Mom gave me is amazingly stupid. This device can control your power and can use spells with it, the only downside is that your magic growth is 70% slower. In other words, you can't grow faster with this device, and it uses only 20% of your full potential. I guess I'll use this to fit in in this world. "Grandir" once again, I used Grandir to make my growth faster. Right now, I'm 17 years old.

"I guess I'll go talk to mother on what I should do in this world now. But I'm quite curious on what happened to my castle and my kingdom. I wonder how my subordinates are." I walked out of my room and downstairs. As I walk down, I see a table full of food.

My mother suddenly called out my name

"Hidou, Dinner is ready." As I walk to Mother, my Father was looking at me strangely. "WH-WHO ARE YOU!? INTRUDER! HONEY! THERE'S AN INTRUDER IN THE HOUSE!!" He shouted. I shouldn't have used Grandir without notifying them first. My mother suddenly rushed towards me with a frying pan. She tried to hit me with it, but I could easily dodge it. But if I did, she'll fall and hurt herself. Welp, I guess I'll let her hit me....

After they cooled down a bit, I explained to them who I was. They felt sorry. I can't blame them though, it was entirely my fault for not warning them.

While eating dinner, I asked my parents

"What can I do in this world Mom, Dad?"

they looked at me and my father said

"Anything you want son! You can travel the world, or relax, ooooor you can go to a brothel and bang any girl you li--" my mother banged my father on his head with the frying pan "What in the world are you teaching to our 10 hours year old baby!" she shouted. "don't listen to your father dear, he's a pervert in every way possible."

But you married him mother, so are you the same? Is what I thought to myself.
