Tale Of Too Good To Be True

Audrey in London

Look around you and try to find the most attractive woman near by.

We got here a lovely curvy lady wearing a black dress and an oversized designer bag -  second look will reveal to you that the bag is a knockout purchased in Chinatown - her dress is fitted to her curvy body revealing the bouncing firm ******, *** for days and that curve on the hip is to die for. Her hair is long, flowing and brown with curl on the end. Her skin fair. If you look at her face you'll see an innocent childlike face, round and serene with lips so full you can't restraint yourself from kissing it.

You'll see her as this gracious, calm and kind girl but that was before you see her eyes. Her wide but piercing eyes revealed that she is anything but innocent, fancy you could even see tiger behind those hazel eyes. My God! Those eyes will flirt with you untill your knees weaken and would soon make you her slave.

Her demeanor, the way she walked is gracious, ladylike but if you get to really see her walk and carry herself, you'll see that she got swag , that there's something unrefined about her. Think of her like Marylin Monroe with the demeanor of Jennifer Lawrence.

Her name is neither Marylin nor Jennifer, it's Audrey Jones.

When you see someone beautiful as Audrey on the street you'll start to imagine what her life must have been, how does it feels to be so beautiful and attractive, does it bring her joy? Well, you're in luck, because Audrey's life is an open book if only you care to read it through.

Audrey was on her way to her office when we first spotted her. She works as an accountant at a mining company in London. As we were discussing Audrey's features she was thinking of how much she hated her job. She hated math so what was she thinking when she applied to be an accountant? Well, maybe she didn't think at all rather than that she had to take any kind of job opening.

You see, Audrey was married before. She was so young just fresh out of college when she married her then ex husband.

First of all, back story;

Audrey was born to a poor farmer in country side. She was quite happy but how happy could you be if you're poor? When you see something and want it but couldn't afford it? Would you really be happy?

Anyway, all through childhood Audrey only had one dream which is to be rich or marry a rich man. They say you should be careful of what you wish for because for Audrey her wish do come true.

In college she met Edward, his family owned the majority shares of one prestigious and profitable car brand (I will not reveal the said brand in case you'll make an inquiry after Edward and decided to take revenge for what he did to our beloved Audrey). In short he was mighty rich and at the time of their dating Edward was nothing but a romantic gentleman. In hindsight there were numerous red flags about him but when you're blinded by the bling you won't be able to see the thing.

Audrey thought him as a jackpot thus immediately secured his affection and his will to marry her. After she graduated they were married. Edward's parents were anything but kindness and generosity itself, they bought them a mansion in Devon as a wedding present and there they lived with their maids and butler and whatnot. But Audrey's happiness didn't last long, a month into the marriage she started to question her decision, three months into the marriage she started to doubt the whole set up, well after six months of marriage she decided that she would leave Edward. Why you ask? Well, Edward was a man-child. He practically thought that marriage meant that he got a personal slave who is obliged to his every whim. He was the most stupid and rudest of man. You'll hear stories about Edward from Audrey herself later on but for now the main thing about Edward is that he is a spoiled little man.

So, Audrey being a smart girl pretended to attend Edward with the utmost care of a nanny-wife while at the same time coaxing him for more allowances and presents preferably jewelry. A year into the crappy marriage, Audrey managed to save enough money to run away and run away she did.

She has been living in London for the past 6 months now and are having an affair with a divorced man.

Life is good for Audrey as her smile getting brighter every day.

The Gateway to Pleasurable and Eye Opening Experience

He was Audrey's first lover. He was a divorced man of forty but by God it was a pleasurable, enjoyable and most importantly an eye opening experience for young Audrey.

She was only view months into her first job in London when she met him. He was a lobbyist in her office. He was a well to-do and by that I really mean that he was rich with one child whose sole custody it was with his ex-wife (how very convenient).

There was something attractive about the man and that wasn't because he was handsome. He was not handsome - he was okay - but he got a way with him, an aura or a charm about him that left an impression that he was a big man, mature and wise and that was what attracted Audrey. He smelled of cologne and smoke and he dress to impress daily.

However it wasn't a long affair, it lasted only three months but it was a pleasurable three months. He taught her the real satisfaction of making love with someone so generous and he was very generous both in bed and in money. It was only after he offered Audrey a new, more luxurious apartment - rent free that Audrey was jolted awake with realization or was it a courage that suddenly risen to finally admit to herself that her sole purpose is to find pleasure; romance or love have no place in her life.  And paying rent means as much in a romantic relationship as she would like to have with this man.

She found her opportunity when they sent him to a third world country that Audrey has no idea even how to pronounce the name of the place. She packed up her bag and left her apartment, resigned with glee from her accursed job and run away to another job, another home.

For Audrey she was relieved as she cut ties with him. It was like pulling a weed on a soft soil, it came off easily. There was no heart break for her, no tears shed, no regrets whatsoever. She didn't even look back and think about how he must've felt to come home one day and find that his lover has disappeared. It never crosses her mind that perhaps he really love her and his heart might be broken because of her. But then again, we'll never know for sure how he really felt about Audrey or how he felt about the break up. We'll never see him again.

One thing I know for sure in this chapter is that the frost has started to set on Audrey's heart. Slowly but sure it will froze her whole heart till she could no longer feel anything.

Anyway like I said, it was a short affair. There weren't even conversation worth writing for during the time. I didn't even remember to mention the divorced man's name; it was William Holmes.

Audrey Found Her Soulmate

The last time we saw Audrey was when she packed up all of her bag and left her lover. Unlike before, she didn't leave London instead she moved to a crappy lodging near the river Thames and there she stayed until she found her new job.

This time she became a secretary to a bitter, horrible old maid. I'm not exactly sure whether the bitterness came as the result of her unmarried state or because she was a bitter person that no one finds her attractive, either way she is a bitter person and Audrey ended up working for her.

You would guess it that Audrey and the boss  (her name is Betsy by the way) didn't get along well.

Audrey even thought that the reason Betsy hired her was because she hated her and wanted to make her life miserable. And it might be true because Betsy would torment Audrey with impossible task and demanding even more impossible time for completion. What was even worst that Betsy never ceased to comment on Audrey's choice of work clothes everyday.

Yes, Audrey was once again miserable in her job.

However, our heroine found herself a kindred spirit in the form of her co-worker Mary Hope. She was a plain looking girl, need a bit of polish in both her manner and her appearance. Mary though lack in beauty make up for it in kindness and loyalty.

Mary knowing Audrey struggle to find an affordable lodging in a better neighborhood offered Audrey to be her roommate. It wasn't a luxurious apartment complex, it was actually no better than the one Audrey stayed now but in their own logic it was better because they could lived together. Things got more horrible if we lived it alone. So, a dingy apartment wouldn't be so dingy if we have a roommate especially roommate as good as Mary.

Those two girls co existed with happiness in each other. And as often the case of living together one would eventually stole the other one habit and for Audrey and Mary, it was Mary who without even realizing it has polished her looks. She started learning how to apply make up from Audrey, started to adopt Audrey's habit of beauty routine night and day. Not long after Mary found herself being looked at on her way to the office and that pleases her.

Audrey loves her roommate so much. They would help each other in bad days and more importantly those days when money runs out and they couldn't even afford to buy dinner because their salary is often spend on make up (girls!).

Mary and Audrey have this rituals where they would go out on a date with guys they met through dating app but only at times when the money to buy dinner is out. The purpose of course is to have free dinner at least that was the purpose for Audrey but for Mary it wasn't just free dinner, it was a husband selection as well although sadly they never went on a second date. For Audrey it was her decision and for Mary sadly it was the guy's decision. But they borne it well and went through every day with happiness because they have each other.

Betsy and her bitterness be damn!
