In the sands of Arun, there was a Clan of People like Felines the

Nekojin, they had ears, a tail, and beast-like eyes. Were strong

physically and had the ability to see in the night. Their sister clan

is the moon clan, each was respective tones of their clans name

the sun clan people had light skin and the moon clan people had skin

the color of night dark and beautiful. Arun has oasis villages thru

out there rocky and sandy terrain. They had many wars between both

southern and northern clans. One battle, in particular, cause the clan's

numbers to dwindle till the Goddess of the Nekojin Serena

demanded that they stop. Serena was a beautiful black haired Goddess

with red beastly eyes, her skin the color of caramel. Sadly she was

betrayed by her people and they sentenced her to death after

poisoning sacred ground.

The sun and moon clan both sought to combine their people into one country and to do

that they were using the chance that they had and killed Serena in a

Ritual of love to flourish their numbers. On a hot summers day at

high noon Serena was collecting flowers for the ritual she was to

perform in the sacred oasis Hiyoku. She was supposed to be the only

one allowed to enter this sacred ground but since they were unhappy

about the fight and wanted the goddess’s power to themselves many

men entered this sacred oasis, they hid in bushes and inside of the

trees, one man even poisoned the water with his blood. they sat and

waited for her to come to send a prayer to the other gods and goddesses

blessing to help her people grow.

Serena walked into Hiyoku and holding a flower for each one of the men inside, “Come

 out, Come out” her voice was soft and gentle as she spoke “I can

see the evil off your aura” she had tears in her eyes “Tell me

what I have done to anger my people so much” just then both clan

chieftains came out. “This war and separation of out people was

your fault after you separated the two clans when both chieftains

loved you” Serena was shocked and shook her head “No that isn't

what happened” in an instant many arrow’s pierced her skin,

blood dripping from her mouth. Serena began coughing and holding her

chest breaking off the bits of arrows out of her skin “If you kill

me I just will be reborn” her brow furrowed with anger as she

stepped closer to the sun clan chieftain “But you already know the

truth don't you.” her hand trembling on his shoulder, he leaned

into her ear “I have read all the stories of your rebirths thru-out

time, This is for my Grandfather” he stabbed his knife thru her

stomach “Lyude nothing but destruction will fall on your family

since your father betrayed the gods first” her body fell to the

floor and cheers rang out and the chieftains shook hands. “What did

the goddess say to you?” Lyude laughed a little “She just said

that she hopes when she gets reborn she falls in love with the future

prince” they laughed together and celebrated over her death.

“Garbari” he wrapped his hands around his shoulder “Tonight we

drink! And in the future, we shall have our children marry to combine

the nations!”

A few years later and Lyude was celebrating his win over his victory and raking in a

ton of gold, he had many wives and many miscarriages after Serena's

death, she had cursed his fertility after her death waiting to be

reborn at the right time. Lyude took wives, some from every beast

clan and even some human women. He wanted the whole world to be his

family and control the very fiber of the flow of time. He wanted to

be the king on the throne of the world. There was one wife Lyude

loved the most Henna she was a moon Nekojin, her hair was blue and

white, her eyes sea blue color, she was smaller among most women

but her heart was kind and she never once betrayed him.

Running into her chambers one morning “My love My love” she smiled “Lyude I am

pregnant!” she held her stomach “Lyude I have been blessed! We

should celebrate” she looked at him with his golden hair and his

emerald eyes and for her, she thought it was love, a love everlasting

like the flow of time.” Lyude what do you hope it is?” he laughed

“A girl like you” he chuckled she smiled warmly and looked at him

“Why do you say that” he petted her “Don't worry my dear “ he

left the house and left a note for her “Love, visiting Garbari to

tell him the news”

A few days later Lyude was sitting with Garbari in his home “Lyude

are you ever going to keep your promise” they stared at each other

it was a long moment to speak “I will my wife is pregnant hopefully

this time it is a girl” Gabari handed him a glass “Good I have

just had my first son a few years ago, so my firstborn son will

marry your first daughter“ this wife came in and she was holding

the young prince “good evening sir’s Uncle I look forward to

meeting my future wife” he bowed and Lyude examined him over “He

looks like a handsome man” he was also a Nekojin he had white hair

and eyes void of color “I am sure my first daughter will give him

many sons.” they celebrated and he went home.

A few months pass and it is about time for Henna to give birth,

“Lyude , Lyude, I think the baby's coming “Henna ran to him

holding her stomach “The Baby’s coming!” she began to have

labor pains and he picked her up “Alright love I will call the

doctor, he placed her in bed and the other wives began prepping for

Henna to give birth, “my love I will be back” she nodded and

Lyude left “Henna you think it will be a girl?” she screams as

“He said that is what he wanted” she panted “Wee-woo heee-woo”

she was labor breathing as she began having contractions. “Henna

you know why he wants a daughter right?” she shook her head “No I

don't” she arched her body as labor contractions got closer “You

know he's selling her to the moon clan so that they can combine the

tribes “ she felt shocked but had to not show it because the other

wives were around “Anything for our chieftain” she sweated and

her voice was in pain. Her inner thoughts ran wild as she was feeling

her baby comes out closer. One of the wives talking “I hear that he

killed Serena the goddess of love which is why people are having a

lot of miscarriages .” henna was sweating and her skin was clammy

hearing them talk “I can’t focus” Henna replied trying to get

the other wives to be quiet. The doctor and Lyude came walking into

the room “Henna The doctor and his nurses are here let them take

care of you” he walked out with his other wives. They waited for a few

hours of endless screaming and pain until a small baby coo was heard

, outrushing from the room a nurse yelled “Its a Girl!” he

smirked “All is falling into place”

Henna held her new baby girl “I shall call you Nanami. Nanami my sweet dear child”

she held her close to her face moments after her birth a strange

making appeared on her face. She was small and her skin like caramel,

Nanami had Blue hair with blonde streaks, she had Goldeneyes and a

warm golden middle to her beastly eyes, Henna smiled and cried

“Thank you Serena for blessing me in love” just then Lyude walked

in “Henna you know I don't like that name spoken in my presence.

Let me see the child, what did you name her?” hands a little shaken

from exhaustion “Lyude I named her Nanami” when he grabbed her he

seen her white fashioned marking on her face “HA! This is utterly

perfect!” he held her for a mere moment seeing the marking and

knowing that Nanami was the next Goddess of their people. “Lyude

what are you laughing about? What is perfect? Nanami yes she is”

Henna smiled Lyude smiled and he handed Nanami back to Henna. “My

love don't you worry” he kissed her and then petted Nanamis’ head

and Nanami began crying and wailing. Henna began to get suspicious as

he left the room “Dear are you leaving so soon?” he nodded

waving out the door “I am going to invite Nanami’s future spouse

here” She walked out the door and began taking care of Nanami

“Don’t worry love I won't let anything happen to you “ she

rubbed Nanami’s face holding, caressing her, and loving on her.

Tears of joy ran down her cheeks as she coddled her new child.

Henna’s relationship with Lyude began to change and the wives began to mock

her for loving on her child knowing that she wouldn't have her past

the age of five. On a hot summers day, Lyude came in and demanded

Nanami from Henna. Henna reluctantly agreed but she wasn't going to

let Lyude do anything to her child so she disguised herself and wore

a hood slowly trailing him and Nanami. Off from a distance, she could

see him meet up with Garbari and a young boy about five “who is

that” she kept trailing them until she came to the sacred Oasis and

got frightened. “What are you doing?” just then before Henna

Serena appeared “Hello child who has believed in love so fiercely”

she touched her face letting her see who she was. She bowed “Serena!

The goddess of love!” she cried seeing what her husband had done to

her and looked up “Why are you here” she spoke with a ghostly

voice “Listen your daughter is the future Goddess of love protect

her” Serena and Henna managed to sneak into the Oasis Hiyoku “This

is where he killed me, I am about to disappear soon” she looked to

her “They are about to soul bind the two together the to combine

the clans” she held Hennas face “I am going to bond myself to the

boy so that Nanami can live a free life but once it is found out you

mustn't let her stay” Henna looked to her “Why” she didn't

understand all the thing confusing her and making her head hurt her

was talking to a goddess and she didn't know what to do, her husband

is a villain. “Serena Tell me what to do?” she nodded “Listen,

In the snow lands of Seoulen Visit, the Family of Sylisi give her to

them and tell them “” Greetings I have a gift for you from your

old friend Serena this is the new beginning”” they will know

what to do, please let Nanami know you love her and who she is before

you leave you won't be able to see her again after you leave” Henna

nods and returns home in a scurry to pack sneakily before he can

catch her leave. Lyude returns with Nanami “Henna” he hands her

Nanami “My love you just saved the kingdom with our child” he had

his hands behind his back and kisses her and pets Nanami who happened

to be sleeping upon return her markings that where there when she was

born for mere moments darkened as if a tattoo and a center gem was on

her head. “Dear, what is this on Nanami? What happened to her face?”

her voice shaken and trying not to cry “Oh dear our daughter is a

Goddess, and now she has been soul bonded with her husband, do not

worry love, It's for the better for her” he left the room.

Henna acted like

she was asleep and left her home early hours in the morning with

Nanami, “Sorry my sweet child, sorry your mother will not be there

for you”, she cried riding fast in the early morning riding into Seoulen

to where Serena had told her. It took many days to get there and

finally, she made it there. Knocking on the door “Hello” a woman

with pointed ears answered the door with a beefy man “Dear who is

this” Henna was shaken and crying “I have a message for you,

Greeting I have a gift for you from your old friend Serena..” they

interrupted her after looking at each other. There were many children

there a lot of boys of many ages and they sat her in the living room “I

can't stay long please let me finish” her voice was cracking.

“Serena this is the new Beginning” she handed her to the woman

“But she is my daughter and I love her with all my heart” she

wipes tears from her face “Please tell her I love her and I wrote

her this note” she handed a tear-drenched parchment. “I was told

I would never see her again” she kisses Nanami on the forehead “May

I know your names?” The woman and man looked at each other with

tears too “Thank you for bringing her back to us” they held hands

all three of them. “I am John,” the man said first followed by the

Eleven women “I am Melly” Henna knew she would never see Nanami

again “I can't stay long before he catches me” she left the house

crying in tears as she reached the borders of Arun men where there

waiting to arrest her.

After reaching the guards took her back home. There stood Lyude and Gabari with his son.

“Henna what have you done...” she looked to the ground “Lyude

Serena came to me I did what she told me to” he went up to her and

slapped her across the face “For this I will have to sentence you

to death” he had a look of despair and hate on his face. “Lyude

what did she say you said she was okay with everything..Kal leave the

room and go to your mother” His son bowed “Yes father” he left

the room. The men began to argue “She did...” Garbari was not

happy with him but placed his shoulders on Henna “You took my sons

Wife and made your spouse break a contract for your child, I pity

you.” he left the room. Henna began to cry. In the next morning

both clans had gathered in Arun. It was a somber morning “Listen

This woman has taken a child from her spouse and has become a traitor

to both Clans of the kingdom, And here she has been sentenced to

death by The sun clan Chieftain Lyude...” the Warriors of Arun shot

their arrows at Henna and the Clan cried. Lyude stood there watching

gritting his teeth “Serena you took my only love from me..”He

became bitter and angry and began to rule his kingdom with an iron

fist.

Seoulen was winter-lands covered in snow, but they had the strongest

Military presence in the world they had excelled in the medical

fields as well. Melly was working as an Inn Keeper and was assisting

John in his Medical research. Melly working at him made it easy for

her to take care of all the kids dropped at their door. In the dead

of night after taking in Nanami John and Melly are sitting and

discussing what they should do. “John she is so small and she

already has her goddess's marking I am not sure we should hide the

fact that she is a goddess from her” John held his face fingers

holding the bridge of his nose “Nanami is the next Goddess of love,

she shouldn't be surrounded by worry and stress. We should raise her

as a normal girl till she becomes of age.” they continued to argue

back and forth until the four boys who lived there came into the

living room to find a new baby in the house. “Who's that?” the

five-year-old Arron said. “Did we get another brother?” Henry

peeked thru the side of the door, he was about the age six. “Mother

I am home...Who is the Nekojin?” Jason said he was sixteen and had

joined the military “What's the baby's name?”. Finally, the eldest

came in he was a general in the military, he was twenty. “Mother,

Father, So we have a little sister now” he smiled approaching her

and extended his hands to hold her. “Devin This is Nanami” she

looked at him “Do you remember Serena?” she let him hold Nanami

she coo’s “Yeah I loved her I wish I could find her” there fell

a long moment of melancholy before john could speak “You might want

to read the note that came with Nanami.” he hands him the note

Henna wrote:

“Nanami, you

might not remember me you were too small when I had to give you away,

It seems Serena the goddess of love died at the hands of my spouse.

She told me to bring you to the house of Sylisi who would take care

of you and shelter you. I know things might not make sense at first

when you read this letter. I just wanted you to know how much I love

you and that you are the Goddess of love and desires, A sun clan

Princess. Your birth father and the moon clan will be looking for you

one day be strong dear fight be smart learn magic learn to fight for

yourself and remember you are the reborn Serena, but you are Nanami

now forget the past move forward. I hope you grow up surrounded by

love and never forget to be a NORMAL girl. Do what you want! Study, be

free and have fun, I am sure by the time you are able to read this I

will no longer be around. I don't want you to worry mother always

loves you and I am sure I will be watching you grow up from heaven. I

am sure you will grow up in a loving home. I am your mother I don't

want you to think that I didn't love you. My sweet sweet Nanami Grow

up be strong never forget who you are. Love you forever -Henna your

mother.”

Devin looked at

Nanami with tears “Do you guys read this already?” John and Melly

nodded “Yes son” Devin sniffled lightly “Mom do you know any

other details?” Melly shook her head “Son I do not but Serena

isn't dead she is within our hearts” he held Nanami in his arms

tightly “Little Nanami things have changed for you I can only

Imagine but your older brother will make sure nothing happens to

you.” The whole family surrounded Nanami “We will all love you”

the warmth of love and a fireplace burning as the night became long

for them and they discussed things among themselves.

Many winters passed

and Nanami began to grow up into a beautiful young lady. She studied

medicine with her father and worked in the inn with her mother during

the weekends. Her brother John taught her how to have fun and make

jokes. Her brother Aron helped her learn Magic, Jason taught her how

to hide and sneak around unseen, and lastly Devin every summer

Vacation taught her how to fight he had her learn how to shoot a bow

and how to use a sword. Nanami began to question why her family was

so different than all the others she knew she was adopted like her

other siblings but she was the only one who had markings on her face.

Not one person in her town had anything like the marking on her face

and a gem to decorate their face “Mother, Why am I the only one

with marking on my face?” Melly looked to Nanami “Oh sweetheart

you are not old enough for that, but let me tell you a secret.” she

motioned her hands to Nanami so she could hold her she was ten at

this time “Nanami it doesn’t matter who you are we all love you

in this home and your birth mother loved you will all her hearts and

one day you might have many people who love you for those markings”

she nodded “I love you too mother.”

Nanami began to

grow faster and was very intelligent by the age of sixteen she had

many job offers, the adventures guild, the military, and the Medical

college wanted her. She began to want to leave and grow up like her

brothers. “Mother, I am the last of my sibling to live here can I

join the military like my brothers?” Melly and John were not

prepared for this day even though they knew it was coming “Nanami you

can not do just anything like your brothers you are different.”Nanami

looked down at her feet “Can you tell me why Mother you know

something I know I am different Is it because of my facial

markings?” just then Delvin came into the house, He walked right up

to Nanami and placed his hands on her shoulders “Nanami It isn't

safe for you to go out in the world by yourself, If you want me to

tell you about yourself then you must pass a test. We all have been

training you so you can protect yourself and not let anything bad

happen to you” she looked up at him” Brother I don't understand”

she moved her head over to his hand. “Past the test and we will all

tell you, Come on sister.” he turned and walked out the door. Melly

and John looked at each other and they talked about what they were

going to say if she passes her tests.
