"Okay, so I have this idea.", began Alice.
Will looked up from his comic and at Alice. Whenever she had an idea for anything, whether it be good or bad, it was always interesting. She was always talked about them with confidence, and always had every detail thought out. It's what made her so good at puzzles or mystery games.
"Oh yeah? What is it?", he asked, a small grin on his face. Alice grinned. She took a deep breath, and continued.
"What if, when I'm murdered, I set up this huge ARG so you guys can find my killer? With cards and everything?"
At first, Will thought she was joking. She couldn't possibly be serious about something so morbid, right? However, the look on her face and her tone of voice made it abundantly clear that she was completely serious. Before Will could say anything, Issac spoke up.
"That's really messed up, Alice.", he said, bluntly. Alice looked taken back by his straightforward answer. He didn't seem to notice, as he returned to working on his drawing again.
"I agree with Isaac.", Yelina chimed in. "Normally, I'd be interested in your ideas, but that just seems really... unnecessary. What if we never find your killer at all?"
"Yeah, and what do you mean, when? Do you seriously think someone has it out for you that bad?", Aki added. "Yeah, what she said;", exclaimed Devin. Alice frowned.
"You know what, just forget it. I was trying to make my death fun for you guys. If just want to mope around when it happens, so be it."
Will sighed, and the rest of the gang started talking about what would and wouldn't be distasteful when it came to respecting all of a dead person's wishes. Like if they requested a disco ball be placed at their funeral.
