Just a regular day , just a regular day. At least that what I thought. “Rosalie!! Knock out of it “ I felt a tap on top of my head. “I’m sorry!” I automatically told Tony. “It’s ok hurry up and help me would you. I have a lot of tables to attend and the bartender isn’t here today. Can you stay longer today? Please with cherry’s on top!”. Well I can you use the extra money why not “you got it boss!”.

As I start taking orders. My coworker Amy that happened to drop by for some drinks starts to giggle “Hey why are you soo excited about?” While giving her a drink. “Don’t you see them?” I look around but don’t see anything peculiar that would catch my eye. “Really Amy why are you so excited about?”. I continue to scope the bar slash restaurant for something that would make Amy hyperventilate like she was doing right now but with out any luck.

“Omg!! Rosalie I swear your so horrible! Don’t you see Alex, Johnathan, Vincent, and Dominic !” she squeals. I don’t know who they are honestly I don’t really care I have soo many things to do than to be looking into men. “Nope!! I don’t see anything” continuing to drying the glasses.

“I can’t wait to clock in so I can help you with that table”. Wait a minute isn’t she off today? “Aren’t you off today?” I immediately ask her. “Let me talk to Tony hopefully he’ll let me work. I’m pretty sure he’ll tell me yes because today it’s packed, and it seems that it’s getting busy now that they’re here”. That works for me! That means I can get off on time and I can study a little bit longer for tomorrow’s exam. “Yes! Ask him that would be awesome. I need the help!”

After talking to Tony, Amy comes back happy “He said yes!”. Great I can get off on time I think to myself . Amy starts changing and gets ready after she’s done Tony tells her what section she would be working for that night, as they talk I can see Amy’s face changing. “What’s wrong?” I ask her. “It’s not fair I wanted to work that section were they are” she gives me a a sad face. “ This was my only chance to talk to them I could’ve flirted a little and maybe get one on one time with one of them!” She sighs.

Can they really be all that? Now I’m curious why is Amy even willing to work to talk to them. She usually hates overtime she just works for fun. She doesn’t really have to work her parents pay for everything unlike me that I had to work hard to get where I’m at.

“It’s ok Amy, if you want you can help me. Go get their order for their drinks? How about that? I’ll take the rest of the order but at least you can talk to them” She smiled and starts walking to their table.

“Are you stupid!” I could hear someone yelling from across the restaurant. “Hey Alex! Don’t be mean to the girl she accidentally spilled water it’s ok”. Amy starts walking away almost in tears. Seeing Amy pass by I turn around, and start heading to the table who ever they are I don’t care how cute or handsome they are no one has the right to talk to someone like that!.

“Excuse me, what happened?” I try to control my anger. “Stupid over there dropped water on my shirt!”. Oh he really didn’t just say that! “Excuse me what did you just say?! It was an accident I’m sorry for the inconvenience I can have it arranged for it to be dry cleaned for you” I’m barely getting the words out of my mouth when I get interrupted. “Do you think that will help this shirt alone is worth more than your whole year paycheck!”.

Lord, help me I’m going to strangle this man. “Alex, relax it’s just a shirt. How about I’ll buy you a new one ? How about that?” A handsome man talked his voice was sweet, and I almost forgot what I was mad about. “Yes, listen to Vincent please don’t make this girl cry as well”. Wait who’s was going to cry? Me? I’m angry no furious now! I know they are not talking about me. “Yes listen too Vicent, and Johnathan” another man is laughing. “Shut up Dominic!” Alex screamed at that moment looking up.

“I’ll send you the shirt it better be cleaned correctly or” as Alex was talking I cut him off short. “Or what!! Just send me the damn shirt and I’ll get it cleaned pretty boy”. I turn, and start to walk back to kitchen. I can here the other two man laughing, I was so enraged I swear I don’t know what Amy looked at. Yes, they are very handsome but they where a**holes well except for Vincent he seemed nice.

“Tony! Can you take care of table 8 I just don’t want to deal with them. Where’s Amy?” Tony nods “She left home she looked like she wanted to cry so I let her go it seems you’re going to have to stay late” great I was already looking forward to some sleep. It’s ok Rose! We got this I think to myself.

I finish my shift I receive a call from my best friend Robert “Rose, you aren’t home? Aren’t you suppose to get off at 10 pm today? It’s almost midnight?” I stay quite “ I had to cover today. Its ok you know I need the OT!” I laugh sheepishly. “You know it’s late and the buses don’t go in that area this late” I cut him off “My house isn’t that far I’ll just walk dont worry”. “Rose, really....!?!” Robert is sweet an all but I’m sure he’s with his girlfriend so I don’t want to bother him for a ride. “I have to go bye” not letting him finish talking.

I have an exam tomorrow, and I’m so tired I wished I had told Tony that I couldn’t do any overtime, but I’m not that type person to pass a good opportunity to make an extra buck, and to help out. If someone needs my help I’ll be there, but right now I’m feeling the consequences of that.

“Bye Tony! See you tomorrow” while exiting the restaurant I hear a “Hey!” I continue to walk ignoring someone’s call “Hey!! I’m talking to you waitress. Can you wait up” Vicent hurried up to catch up to me while I walk towards my house. “ I do apologize for my friends rude behavior he’s kinda going thru something, and well I guess he decided to take it on you tonight but he’s really a good guy” as he continues to talk I really didn’t pay that much attention to his words since what happened in the restaurant I didn’t have the energy to say anything.

“Rose!” I look up to find Robert driving slowly next to us “Hey, Rob what brings you here” ignoring Vincent completely. “Well I thought you might need a lift since you know it’s kinda late” stops and looks at Vincent “and you may never know if a creep may follow you home”. Vincent starts laughing “Don’t worry man I’m not trying to hit on your girl I’m just trying to explain the hole situation at the restaurant, and get her info so my friend can send her the shirt she so kindly offer to dry clean”.

I looked up at Vincent finally getting a good view of him he’s 6’2 has hazel eyes, and curly brown clean cut hair, brod shoulders OMG this man is gorgeous! I quickly get ahold of myself I can feel my cheeks warming up “He’s not my boyfriend!!!” I’m not sure why I try to make my voice sound like if my statement is true. “Give me your phone” I tell Vincent hands over his phone “ Here!! I just called my phone, see you now have my number just text me where I can pick up your annoying friends shirt”.

I turn around and head towards Robert’s car. “Great, I have your number but what’s your name!?!” I here Vincent scream. “My name is Rosalie! Text me I have to go” as I get in the car I hear a someone yelling “Mine is Vincent by the way!”. Yeah I know that I said to myself I was pretty annoyed that I had remembered all there names.

I was thankful that Rob got there in time to get me out of that awkward situation hopefully I didn’t get him in trouble with his girlfriend. “Rob, you really shouldn’t have came I was fine walking home” he just looked straight looking like something bothered him after a little bit he smiled. “It’s no problem really I was already leaving Didi’s house, and I saw you walking with” he paused “well you looked awkward so I stopped. What’s up with him anyway’s?” He asked.

“Please, don’t ask I’m really tired he’s just a customer that I have to dry clean his friends shirt long story”, and with that he just stopped asking about we continued to talk about other things. This is the reason I love Robert of course as friend he doesn’t push the issue or bug me about it. As we get to my house slash parents dry cleaning business. I say bye and thank him for the ride Im glad this day is almost over, time to take a shower and hit the books! I study all night falling as sleep on my books.

Ding...Ding...Ding

The sound of the notifications woke me up glaring at my phone I just looked at the time. Omg! it’s 7:30am I’m going to be late! I quickly take a shower throw on some light make up and change, walking to the kitchen I see my mom making breakfast. “Your not going to eat?” She asks. “No, I’m running late have you seen my keys?” Looking thru everything “they’re in the turtle jar, also can you do me a favor”. “Yes, of course but it has to be quick mom I’m going to be late to catch the bus if not!”. She hands me two school uniforms, and asks me to go deliver them.

Running to catch the bus I look at the uniforms they are from the prestigious Richmond University. I’ve always wanted to see it I heard lots of good things about it, and I wanted to go but my parents, and I couldn’t afford it. They have a business, but like all business there’s days that we don’t have enough so I help out. It’s the first time I can get a glance of such school.

As I get of the bus and start to walk towards the school I hear a notification pop up again. I finally get a chance to look at it’s from Vincent:

What’s up with this guy? I was about to reply when I bumped into a crowed of girls making my phone fall to the ground, as I temp to grab it the phone gets stepped on, and the screen cracks. No!! this can be happing!!! I’m not going to be able to afford another phone or get the screen fixed.

I stand there looking at my phone. “Rose?” I turn around it’s Robert “What are you doing here?” He asks. “I’m here to make a delivery” showing him the uniforms. “What can I not come?” I look at his face he just smiles, but there is a weird look in his face. “Who is it for?” He asked “It says for Dameon Reed in class 3A?” I tell him “Oh, him if you want I can take it” he says “Nope, what kinda of business would we run if anyone just delivered our stuff”

Robert looked worried and hurt. “ I don’t mean it like that you know” giving him a smile. I would be ok with it usually any other day but this is my chance to quickly get a glance of such a school before I get going to my school. “Then let me lead the way” he starts to walk towards the class we talk on the way over there.

Robert’s dad works for Richmond Enterprise and his dad is ahead of one of its departments so naturally he could attend this school. I had met him when I was working as a delivery service again another part time job I had to help out. Ever since I dropped his beloved chicken at his door we had became good friends at first he was shy, but slowly we became friends I say one piece of chicken at a time.

As we start walking toward the building we started talking about the exam, and of course where didi was. When we herd a commotion from inside the class room that I was making the delivery too. A loud familiar voice spoke “Move you dog!”. “Why would I you blo” they stop talking when they look at me and Robert entering the room.

Robert starts walking toward the commotion inside “Alex do you have a problem with Dameon sitting in this desk?” Rob talked with a firm tone I had never heard him talk like that before he was usually a goofy and a very shy person well at least around me. “Yes, your mutt doesn’t know his place” why do they keep on referring to him like if he was some type of dog. “Guys!” a familiar voice was entered the room it was Vincent. “Remember that Rose is in here why can’t we be a little bit more civil for today as entertaining that it would be to see you two fight just for today let bygones be bygones ok ”.

“Your right Vince, Robert why don’t you tell your mutt oh sorry Dameon to move! “ Alex demanded. Why would Rob have the authority to tell Dameon to do anything?
