Huff huff........ Katie kept running as the men in black suits chased her. She galloped like a horse through the streets. She had disguised herself to escape from them. A girl in lousy top and tattered jeans. Long silky brown hair covered with wig. She ran through the streets to the main road.

"Uhh...traffic! "She panted.

" Stop there girl.... "The men shouted.

She lunged on the road and ran to the other side. To her panic a very elite car came towards her in blinding speed.

" Ohh.. No, I don't wanna die like this."

The car came in a screeching halt in front of her centimeters apart. She propped up her specs.

"Sigh, thought was dead."

Four handsome teenage youngsters came out of the car.

"Girl you wanna commit suicide in front of our car?"

The men were coming towards her as the vehicles had stopped to look at the chaos.

One of the guy grabbed her hand.

"Explain?"

"It was a accident, not intentional.... I gotta go lemme go." She struggled to free her hand. The men were already close now. Three meters apart.

"I am sorry." She kicked the boy in the knee and ran to the other side. As she ran she screamed, "will pay you if we meet."

"That girl is crazy.......... " Luke said patting his knee.

"Who are these men?"Jake asked.

The men ran to the other side the way the girl went. The four boys curiously looked at the men running on the road.

" Crazy people." Eric said.

"Lets go."John said. The got in the car and went to their villa.

Katie kept running , the men did not give up.she looked around for a way to escape but she was surrounded. They pulled her hand. She struggled trying to get free.

"Let go, please."

"Sorry"The man said and everything went black as Katie fainted.

She got up in a chair.

" Ayyyaaa.... Daddy, why is it always you who wins."

"I am going to throw you out of house."

She leaned on the chair.

"Okay." She said gesturing okay with her hand.

"But remember the rule."

She got up from the chair.

"Yup... Sure."Katie said excitedly.

That night Katie kept wobbling on the bed thinking about her school. Her father had decided to send her to a far away school. she had never heard of the place. her father insisted it was time for her to go there.She did not understand what he meant but it was better than the schools she had been to.She was a smart student in her school excelled in everything.She was thought to be always calm. Her dad would be upset if she got tempered. Thinking of the school she dozed off. The same dream repeated again. she saw pure white clouds around her. The beauty bounding. Vast region below her. she was flying in the air. she could the wings of a large bird above her. she got up hearing her mother's voice.

"Wake up.... Wake up Kate...... don't you wanna pack?"Her mom said.

she sat up jolt upright.

" yeah.. mamma I gotta get ready."

She got up and freshened up. She had to pack up her things. The books were provided by the school so it wasn't an issue.She had beautiful dark eyes with blue and pinkish pupils which even her specs could not conceal. She braced her hair under the wig and went with a casual wear. She took necessary items and clothes and packed them up.

She sat on the bed twirling her shoulder length curly wig. Her dad walked in.

"katie?" He asked.

"Oh dad."

"I will tell you the place you are going now...... do you really want to go? I can conceal it if you want."

"No dad I want to go."

Katie removed her necklace which she had been wearing since birth. it was a treasure to her family passed down from generation to generation.

"Here dad..... you asked me to remove it.But dad the books are all weird....... I mean it's kinda superficial not scientific or logical."

"you will know when u go there...... I should have sent you two years ago but now you are already 16 in December."her dad said." Dear, persistence is the only way..... understand?

"dad? I am just going to a new school..... why are u acting like a life death situation? "

Her dad hugged her.

"ok now kate lets go down.... we have your favourite sandwiches.

" Yeah daddy! "

Katie's journey was to begin in the night. She felt weird. Which school made it compulsory about night travel?

Her parents told that parents weren't allowed to come along.

She had to wait in her garden for the vehicle. Another weird thing.

She and her parents stood.

A Black car came to a halt from somewhere.

What the...? She gasped as she saw the sight.

She got inside the car. It was magnificent and very spacy. She jumped out to see but it looked like a normal car she got in again but it was as big as a train coach.

"Daddy?" She asked surprised.

"Dear, you will know once you reach there.... remember accept it and be persistent."

Nah it was difficult. She could not accept the car itself.

She reluctantly got in doubting her decision.

She sat in the seat in front breathing hard.

The driver was a young man in Three pin suit.

"umm.... sir? where is the place?"

The man kept silent. Katie looked out the window and waved to her parents. As she looked outside another surprise the car was rising above no no no the ground was sinking?

she let out another gasp.

"This... what... ayya.... gosh??? she stammered for words.

" Sir? No other students?"

"No",the eman said in a harsh creepy voice." you are the last one".

"oh!"

The moon was beautiful. Chill air was blowing outside but she did not open the window. Well in aeroplanes the windows were sealed tight right?But the man had opened the window and looked calm. she did not want to risk anything.

The journey was about two hours long. But in the horizon the sun was already rising.

"sir? it is already morning? I think we.... "

"time is different."the man cut her short.

She gazed outside as she saw the approaching island. They had actually crossed some ocean?

The island was peculiarly beautiful.

" sir the island name?"she asked curiously.

"The Jade island."

"huh?" Katie's geography wass good she knew there wasn't any Jade island.

She took put her phone which her dad had given. it was a totally different model. It was the size of a vivo phone. She searched the name. Yeah there was a island named Jade.

this meant even though phone was jinxed.

She could only curiously look out at the coming island.

She stared at the approaching island. it was as beautiful as any place. Like a beautiful heaven.The place was covered with variety of tall trees. Karke tried to absorb the beauty of the place.The school was situated exactly in the middle of the island. The building looked like a palace rather than a school. near to the school was another building which was probably the dormitory. The car stopped in the front of the school. The gate was magnificently tall. Katie stared mouth open wide at the school. It was...........magnificent.it had beautiful ancient carving in the door.She had heard the school was very old. The man bought out her luggage. She took it and pulled it along. She had to find the school Principal office. She took out the phone hoping to find some way. A screen popped up.

"ohh its you!! "She said clapping her hands." Do you know where the Principal office is?"

He ran his fingers through his hair, showing off his beauty. "Don't you have to compensate."

"It was intentional but I had my reasons.I gotta go.... see ya."

she turned to move but the guy pulled her hand she lost her balance. The boy was pushed to the wall and she slammed on his chest.She looked up.

"I... I? "

The boy caught her shoulder and pushed her to the wall.

"hey?"

She kicked his leg and pushed him away.

"crazy girl.... I will make you pay girl."

"Pervert." Katie screamed as she ran in the other direction.

At last she reached the office.

A man came out and said, "Come in."

The principal was a old man his eyes we're playful but a unmoving and indefinable expression.

Katie thought (if he knew could not he help?)

"Ah Miss Katie... Your time 15 mins 38 seconds.Pretty good."

"yeah sir(huh I had to stroll like a ragged doll.... damn so irritated.)"

"okay your registrations are done...... you can go Please take miss to the dorm."

"umm Thanks."Katie said.

she went to the dorm she had not met a single student.... except that slut.

She was guided to the dorm.All boys and girls were in the same building but the dorms were divided into two sides.there was a common area it was quite big. The top of the common area was covered with glass giving the view of the sky but the heat never got in.

She went to the counter area for her submission and room card.

A elegant lady with creepy eyes stood there.

'card',she gave to Katie.He room no. was 408.

She looked around. She felt someone watching her.She picked up her things to the dorm side.As she went through the corridor she saw a boy standing and peeking at the door. She walked closely towards him.

"wassup?"

The boy let out a gasp and pulled her inside the room.He was breathing hard. it was dark inside the room. His hands were clasped in her mouth. She mumbled.

"Keep quiet......... " his breathing was close to her ears.He let go of her after 5 mins.

"Mr.? what are ya doin?"

"Help me out!"

Katie sighed and peeped outside. she went out and pulled her luggage. "no one, come on."

"Help please.... get me ice packs!"

"huh?"

Katie stared at the boy.

"I drank love potion."

Katie laughed. "are you in wizard world or what?But come on I will take the

She stayed in position for almost the whole day. Now bright streaks of day could be seen.

Katie had fainted due to the grim position.Katie had disguised herself. (The wig and stuffs).

The boy woke up.

"oh no... this lady........?

Already students were coming out of the dorm.He carried up Katie I'm a princess carry.

All the girls were peeking and the ones that were walking stood and stared. He reached the common area.the boys were also buzzing out.

" Ah? Jasper. Who is this lad...... quite ugly."His bestie said.

"move... I am gonna kill those girls.They gave me love potion."

'Boy... damn girls so u....?'

He ignored the question and walked to the infirmary in the school building.
