Prologue:

~ Jake windull and Mike Martin in unison~

Before the humans or animals walked the earth. There was a race that was already there they were called vampires and werewolves. The vampires were died but alive at the same time, they couldn’t be harmed by the sun, they drank blood, they were immortals, and the only way that they could be killed was by a bite of a werewolf because of the venom in the werewolves teeth. The bite can kill them if they don’t drink blood from the werewolf who bite them. The werewolves were mortals, and they could be killed by anything. When the humans started to appear the supernatural race thought they were going to be a threat, but it was later found out they had no powers to harm anyone. It was later found out they were wrong. The humans lived in peace with vampires and werewolves. Some humans would even fell in love with the supernatural race. If a human had a baby with a werewolf the baby would not likely be a werewolf because it was rarely, but there was one race who rarely could have children and it was the vampires because they already died. The humans and the supernatural race lived together in peace until one day vampires started to kill any living thing in it path. Although not all vampires were like this the humans decided that they had to erase them from history. The humans started to believe that since the vampires were evil then the werewolves were too. Just as I said before the supernatural race thought the humans weren’t a threat, but they were wrong because the thing that the humans had were weapons that could kill the supernatural race. It was 1874 when the humans declared war on the supernatural race. The war was bloody and long every race was killing each other and it seemed like it would never end until a group called the Savers came about in 1967. The Savers were a group of humans, vampires, and werewolves who came together to help each other so the war could end so no more lives would be lost. So the war ended in 1969 and then began the reconstruction of a new world. They created artificial blood, places werewolves could go doing the full moons so they wouldn’t hurt anyone, they created more weapons so the humans could feel safe around the supernatural and they also made jails that capsule hold a supernatural being. There also were divisions put up for each race. One was called Moun meaning human, one for werewolves called lougarou and one for vampires called vanpir but there was another called ansanm meaning together it was made for the races who didn’t care about what happened in the past and for those who fall in love with another race and came there to escape from those who don’t agree. The people who do live there are sometimes looked down upon.The divisions were put up to make people feel at ease, but it doesn’t say that a being of another division can’t come and live in a different division. It was not against the rules, but that rarely happened and if it did it would be chaos. The vampire's,werewolves, and humans were all taught to never have anything to do with another since birth even though the Savers tried to end that belief. The Savers wanted to show that we can live in peace now since we are more advanced now, but the people didn’t want to believe it. They wanted nothing to do with on another. It is now 2020 and for all, I know we still are taught to never have anything to do with another race.

~Narrator~

Hello, I am the narrator of this story sometimes you will see me jump into the story when the character is talking to explain to you what is happening or just because I want to. When I jump in this sign * would be at the start and end of my sentence. The first character that I would like to introduce to all of you is named Jake Windull, he is a high school student at Westman High school. He is 17 and he is a vampire, his family is one of the five top vampires families in the country. Jake is very cocky because his family is rich and he looks down on everyone who is not above him. Jake might be cocky, but he is a very sweet boy at heart, but since he knows that everyone wants to be his friend because his family is rich and powerful he decides to cut everyone out and not let people get too close to him. So let's begin the day, should we.

*Jake begins the day with breakfast made by his cook, Jesus, Jesus had been cooking for Jake since he was a kid. Jesus is like Jake's father, Jake's real dad is never around. Jake has a mother named Katty and father named Trevor and two older brothers named Micheal and Franklin. Jake walks out the house heading to school. Jakes family is not really close. His mother is a woman who only cares about money and not here kids. She spends all her time shopping or traveling. His brother Micheal who is 24, does a lot of charity work and rarely comes home either and his brother Franklin who he is very close to maybe because they are close to age. Franklin is 19 and if he does come home, he only comes to see Jake.

“Hi, Jake walk to school with me you little butt head.” said by Jake’s “friend” named Marcus

* Jake never really liked Marcus, but Marcus was the only one who didn’t talk about how rich or powerful his family was. Jake and Marcus walked to the school, but they stopped and meet their other friend named Keith. Jake liked Keith a little because keith also came from a rich family and he kind of know what Jake was going through. Jake was never really close to anyone, he would only hang around people who didn’t really know who he really was. And when they did he would disappear and found new friends. They made it to school and Jake doesn't like first period, so he would skip half of it and comes in late.*

‘“Why are you late, Mr.Windull?”

“I don’t have to answer you.”

“YOU GO TO THE OFFICE NOW WITH THAT SOME ATTITUDE OF YOURS, JUST BECAUSE YOU RICH DOESN’T MEAN YOU OWN THIS CLASSROOM!”

“SIGH!”

*Jake leaves the room at heads to the office.*

“Young man the pricinal will now see you.” th women said at the desk.”

*Jake walks into the principal's office.*

“Hello, Mr.Windull I can see from your record that you are a troubled kid, well I have to suspend you. I’m not like the old principal I can’t let a kid like you walk around at school like you run the place can I?”

*Jake said nothing.*

“I’m asking you a question, Mr.Windull.”

“I guess you can’t, Mr.Welson.”

“Well, son you have 2 weeks to think about the way you act at home and see if you want to change your ways.”

*Jake walked out the office into the hallway towards his locker and he gathered his things and left. He made it home and he saw his father's work car outside meaning his father was home. He walked inside and saw his father sitting on the couch sitting down looking like he was waiting for something.*

*Jake father turned around* “come here son I have something I want to talk to you about.”

*Jake walked over there by his father and sat at the other side of the couch his father was sitting at.*

“So, I heard you got suspended from school today, mind telling me way.”

*As the narrator of the story I should tell you something before letting this story goes on. Trevor is an abusive man and Jake is scared of him because all he remembers from his childhood about his father is that he was always beating the family members in the house. Jake is scared of him because his father never showed interest in him and he never showed love towards him either. Jake has feared his father since the day he saw his fathr murder one of the workers who worked for him and that was 10 years ago.*

“Umm, the teacher said I had an attitude and sent me to the office and the principal suspended me.”

*Trevor said nothing.*

“Are you mad at me, father.”

“No, son I’m not mad.”

*Jake was scared, the look on his face let his father know he didn’t believe him.*

“Son, I’m not mad really. Have you eaten?”

“No.”

“Ok, Jesus make two chocolate le petit-maÎtre.”

*If you don’t know what a chocolate le petit-maÎtre is it is just a chocolate cake with lots of blood inside it.”

“The food is ready, Master.” said Jesus

*Jake and his father sat down at the kitchen table and started to eat.*

*After they were done eating.* “Jonas and Ari come here.”

“Father what’s going on, I thought you said you wasn’t mad.”

“Take him to the closed room.”

*Jake is very scared and he was crying uncontrollably.* “Fat-t-ther, I-iii’m sorry, i’ll c-chan-nge I won’t do i-it again.”

“You should have thought that when you got suspended, you will spend a month in the with no food and talking to anyone. I want you to think of your behavior of this past year because I gave you a chance to change and now it has come to this.”

*They dragged Jake away and all you could hear was him screaming.* “FATHERRRRRRR.”

*Jake was put in the closed room.”

~Narrator~

*Hello, it’s me again the narrator to tell you about the second character. His name is Matt Martin and he is a werewolf and he is 18 years old and goes to leanvillie high school. He has two brothers, one sister, and a mother. His mother's name is Renee, he has an older brother who is 23 and his name is Liam and a younger who is 14 named Elijah and one younger sister who is 16 and her name is Ava. Matt is very close to his family and he loves them very much. His family is not rich, but not poor either. They live a very nice and warm life in their division. Matt is liked by many people and has many friends.*

*But one thing they don’t know about Matt is that he is gay and he also likes hanging out with vampires in the ansanm division. And if any of his family members or friends know about this is life would be over. He goes to the ansanm division whenever he has the choice and he hangs around people who don’t judge him for being him. So, let’s start the day shall we.*

*Matt wakes up bright and early and always goes for a run. By the time he comes back, his whole family is awake.*

“Good morning, my m&m. * That's his nickname.* Did you have a good night sleep.” Said the mom

“ Yes, I did.” *That was a lie Matt hasn’t had a good night sleep since the day he lost his best friend Kevin. Kevin was a sweet boy who always take care and protected Matt since they were little. But like all good things, some must come to an end.*

*Matt walked out the house and started his way to school and along the way he met up with his other friend, James. James was a kind kid who didn’t really care for what people had to say about him. That is what made Matt want to become friends with him in the first people.*

“What’s up, Matt.”

“Nothing, I’m good. How about you.”

“I’m good, I’m good, but how are you feeling.”

“What do you mean.”

“You know what I mean.”

“I’m fine.” He said in a shivering tone

“You’re lying and I can tell. Matt you have to tell someone he can’t get away with doing something like that to you. * As the narrator I should clarify what happened, but it’s hard to say.* You have to tell or I will.”

*Matt got violent and pushed James against a brick wall.*

“If you ever tell anyone I will kill you.”

*James wasn’t scared of Matt, but he did know Matt would kill him.* “Matt, you can say and do whatever you want, but that bastard has to pay. It makes him look like he has control over you and I don’t like it. If you asked me to kill him you know I will do it because a bitch like him doesn’t deserve to live and you know that and you still love him.”

“JAMES, MIND WHAT YOU SAY, I DON’T LOVE HIM IN ANYWAY HOW COULD I LOVE SOMEONE WHO RAPED ME..”

“Then why don’t you take him down.”

“James, it none of your business what I do and you don’t have to be by my side anymore.” *Matt said this in a tone that would make you believe that he didn’t want James I’m his business and didn’t want him as a friend. But if you looked into his eyes you could see the words that speak louder than he did. The words that was begging James not to leave him and stay. And James know that, that’s why he didn’t take those lines serious.*

“I know you don’t mean it, but it still hurts my feelings, Matt I love you like a big brother and I want that bastard to rot in hell for what he did.”

“Ja…ames, I’m scared I don’t want people to know.” *Matr said this as he fell down James legs to the ground.*

“I know, I know, I’m sorry. Shhhhh, it’s ok.”

*Matt didn’t go to school that day instead James took him back home and Matt laid in his bed for two whole months. His family just thought he was depressed, but it was more than that. Matt would blame that it was his fault that his friend did that to him. And it was hard for him to continue to live this life that didn’t feel like was his.*

“Mom turn on the tv, something happened to that friend that was Matt’s.” Said the older brother.

“Today, we have some terrible news a high schooler by the name Kevin Moors has been arrested for raping 10 different boys. It has been said that he has raped more, but not all of them has came forward. We will keep you updated about this matter that seems to be troubling the world. That is all for today and coming again is 15 news.”

*Matt was surprised by the news and he knew who did it, he thought that Kecin being locked up would make him feel better but it didn’t, but what came next was a shock to him.*

“Oh my gosh, did you know about this Matt.” Said the mom.

“No, I didn’t.”

“Did he do anything to you.”

“No, mom he didn’t mom.”

“Are you sure.”

“Yes,mom.”

“That’s good, all these rapers these days, and to top it off he’s gay and that goes to show that gays are terrible people. Glad to hear he didn’t do anything to you because if he did I would probably disown you.”

“Why?”

“Because I don’t think I could look at a son who has been fucked in the asshole by a man.”

“I know right.” Said his sister

“I know like that’s disgusting.” Said his older brother.

“I wouldn’t be able to look at a son like that either because I would like he was gay and like it.” Said his younger brother.

*Matt knows that his family was not ok with the LGBTQ+, but he never know that that they would disown someone because that got raped. This put him in an awkward and devastating situation. He felt like anyone was against him.*

“Oh, I see.”

*Matt walked away and laid back in his bed. His mom called out to Matt to come and eat, but he didn’t answer. He just laid there with his thoughts and decided to call and talk to James.*

“Hey, did you get Kevin arrested.”

“No, I don’t know what you are talking about.”

“If you say so. I just called to say goodbye.”

“What do y..” *Before James could finish Matt hung up the phone.*

*Matt walked out the house and told his family he was talking a walk. He went to one of his favorite places the stonewall bridge, it was the highest bridge in the world. It was his favorite because it had a really good view at night. He loved it because it was the only place that made him forget the fucked up world that he lived in.*

*Matt jumped on top and the rail and just sat there thinking. He sat for about 25 minutes hoping someone would stop him, but no one showed up so he stood up and was ready to jump and in the distance you could hear someone yelling.*

“STOPPPPP.” *And Matt stopped and who was there.”

“James?”

“Yes, it’s me,'' What are you doing?”

“How did you know I was here.”

“I know because you would always talk about this place like it was the most beautiful thing ever. So I know you were here. What are you doing.”

“I don’t have anything to love for, so I think I should just die.”

“What do you mean you have many things to live for.”

“WHAT DO I HAVE TO LOVE FOR TELL ME.”

“Matt you ha….”

“I HAVE NOTHING NO ONE……. NO ONE LOVES ME MY WHOLE FAMILY SAID THEY WOULD DISOWN ME IF THEY KNOW I WAS RAPED BY KEVIN. THEY WOULD LEAVE ME TO SUFFER WITHOUT SAYING OR GIVING A DAMN THING ABOUT IT AN…..AND YOU WANT TO TELL ME THAT I HAVE SOMETHING TO LIVE FOR. EVERYONE ONLY LOVES ME BECAUSE I AM GOOD LIKING SMART AND POPULAR NO ONE CARES ABOUT MY FEELING OR WHAT I GO THROUGH. I HAVE NOTHING LEFT FOR ME IN TH……..”

“LIVE FOR ME. I CARE FOR YOU.”

“NO YOU DON’T”

“If I didn’t care would I be here with you right now.”

*Matt didn’t answer, so James stand beside Matt on top of the bridge.*

“What are you doing?”

“If you die, I die.”

“James, no you can’t what about your family.”

“Matt you know my family is dead and I have no one. You are the only family I have and if you die it feels like someone has ripped out my heart over and over again and stepped on it. I don’t want to feel that way without you ever.”

“James, I can’t let you die because of me.”

“This is not because of you this is my decision and I’m not changing it unless you do.”

“James, I just can’t I don’t know what to do I feel terrible about everything and I don’t want to leave this world but at the same time I do.”

*At this point James started to cry.*

“Yes, you can live in this world, we are only 18 we have our whole lives ahead of us, so why would you choose to die.”

*Matt said nothing and James looked into Matt eyes and jumped back on the bridge.*

“If you have a death wish go right ahead, I can’t stop you I have been with you since we were little and I know you can’t do it. I know that you want someone to help you off that edge that you have put yourself in. And I am here to help you. Matt, I love you.”

“What? When.”

“ Matt, I have loved you since we were 13, but I could see it in your eyes that you were in love with Kevin so I didn’t dare to speak up to you about it. I love you and I don’t know if you could ever love again, but I want you to start over with me and if you can’t love me and you still feel like leaving this world I can’t stop you.”

“James, I ca…”

“ Don’t say you can’t you haven’t been out with me yet and I want to show you my world.”

*Matt could see it in James eyes and how he was telling the truth. So, Matt stepped down, James and Matt just sat there for hours just crying. When they finally got up it was 1 in the morning, so they both just want back to Matt’s parent's place. They just laid in bed and stared at each other without saying a word, it was like they didn't need words to say anything. It was like their eyes were speaking for them in a way that was beautiful.*

~Fast Forward 2 weeks later~

*Matt told his family about everything and just like he thought they disowned him, but he could see that his sister was on his side. She was planning on leaving with him, but he refused, he told her that he couldn’t provide for her and that if she still wanted to come with him when she’s older she can. Matt left with James and they moved to a new part of town and they planned to go to the same college together. Matt was still struggling from a couple of things, but he could get through them because of James. James was there for Matt in many ways, Matt just didn't know anything. James is Matt’s glue and James wants to be with him forever.
