Prologue

Friendship or best-friendship may be natural in the minds of many people. But sometimes friendship makes things worse.

The feeling of wanting to prove it is good. But if you're too obsessed with what you think is good, what's the point of you having a brain?

The point is, whatever you do, you must have a view of the consequences.

Just a story from a girl named Kania.

Kania

"Kania!" Rina called a student in the front row by waving her hand. Kania moved her feet under the table, pulled her aside and stood up. Approaching the person, "Yes ma'am?"

Rina handed a book to Kania. In front of him was a picture of the perfect student. She is kind, beautiful, polite, and has a strong mentality. Sometimes he imagines that this student will be able to become a successful person in the future. Children who are easy to get along with are sure to have good connections.

"Bring this to my table," Rina ordered, then she stepped her foot first leaving Kania who took the books on the table. While Kania followed behind him, he looked like a runner. Follow wherever Rina goes.

In the Teacher's Room, Kania greeted by knocking on the door before entering, walking slowly and approaching Rina who was already sitting quietly on her throne. He put the book on the table, returned Rina's smile faintly and walked over to the canteen.

Kania left from there with a sour face. His friends were already in the canteen, so he just went to the canteen without returning to class first.

School life is boring. But Kania is reluctant to leave this period for the sake of times that are not necessarily good. Maybe now he could just relax with life.

But will he be able to live a better life than this in the future?

To be honest he was scared. He is afraid to grow up and be faced with problems outside his mind.

"Kania! Here!" Shouted Citra.

Kania stepped into her friends, there were Citra, Putri, Agatha, and Christina there.

The butt is perfectly attached to a chair that extends for two. He exhaled the breath he had held a moment ago.

Seeing Kania who seemed tired, Agatha handed her a bowl of soup in front of her. "Thank you," said Kania who was gifted with a smile from Agatha.

"Just became a maid huh?" Agatha asked by spooning fried rice into her mouth. Memorize very well if the teacher must order Kania and praise him to all the students who make him sick.

"Well, I don't really mind." Kania answered while seasoning the soto with soy sauce. He likes soy sauce.

"Only two years. In one year, if it's still like this, you must be bored. Try to get out of your mask so you don't always have to deal with that annoying teacher." Said Christin.

Kania crinkled her forehead, "You mean? You want to say that I've only been pretending to be nice all this time?" Asked Kania disliked.

Christin was nervous, then smiled stupidly and shook Kania's arm.

"Aish, that's not what I meant." She scratched the back of her itchless neck and laughed involuntarily.

Kania didn't mind it. He was silent by eating his soto. The daughter nudged Christin's arm who couldn't keep her mouth. The group of girls became silent without breaking any sound.

"How about we hit the beach this weekend?" Said Putri broke the silence.

All eyes are on him. The image of the youngest screamed with joy. "Yes, yes!" He shouted. He showed a happy face like a kindergarten child who just got a toy.

"I really like the beach. The beach is us. She is always beautiful but it never knows when she will be dangerous." He said with both palms against his cheeks.

"Very?" Asked the Putri.

"Of course. What's more beautiful than the beach?" Said Citra glaring.

Kania couldn't help but laugh at the cute behavior of one of her friends. Very childish.

"Hey, you can't swim, how can the beach be your favorite place?" Taya Putri with a laugh. Christin, who ate the soup with gusto, almost spat it out laughing.

It's just weird for someone who can't swim but loves the beach. Like you who can only look at diamonds without being able to touch them.

"Who said? Now I can." Said Citra.

Instead of being surprised, the laughter from everyone just got even more Kania herself is not someone who likes to get into silly conversations like this and can't help but laugh offensively. This is funny.

"Well, need some buoys?" Said Kania who was able to make people beat him. Especially Citra.

"Ish! I can swim already. Even though it's only a little, I can float." He said.

Kania had just opened the door when a voice startled her. Her hands were floating with bulging eyes. But when he realized, he immediately lowered his hand and draped his bag tidily.

"Just got home? Come here for a minute!" A scream from a very familiar stopped Kania.

She is her mother. A mother who is only a part of the word mother.

A mother should be able to guide her child, especially if she is a woman. Who really needs to have 'me time' with his mother.

He doesn't need anything. He only wanted his mother to occasionally ask him how he was, whether the school was hard, or something like that.

Kania realized. His mother was a tough career woman. He will not easily step down with household conditions. He is someone who looks straight towards the goal without the slightest break.

But is what he needs so heavy? He didn't even ask to sleep with him since first grade. He didn't ask his mother to take his report card because he knew her mother was busy. He also never asked to go out with his mother. Never.

He only asked for a happiness in the mouth. Sincere or not, Kania didn't care. The important thing is that he has heard the word Ghoib from his mother's mouth. Small talk when people call it,

It seems, talking to him alone is never even though they are in the same room. He only heard his mother's voice when he was calling or ordering him.

Some people say that affection shouldn't be expressed in words. Kania of course believed. But with minimal proof like this ... what can he do?

"Why are you silent? Come here for a moment!" Maria waved her hand gesturing for Kania to take a step.

Slightly lazy, Kania brought her feet right in front of that person. Not too close, Kania knew that she was reluctant to be close to him. Judging from the thick facial expression, just make up is enough to make Kania know.

"What is wrong?"

"Lately I've been thinking that you're an adult ..."

Kania always dreams. With just words, I hope he hears the words of the mother coming out of the old lips. But not. Some of the words are just you, me and us. There are no words like my daughter, your mother, or anything else. It is unfortunate.

"Yes?" Kania said lazily.

"I want you to learn to do business. The children of my friends have been educated to continue the company from a young age, and because you are my only child, it is not too late for you to learn to do business." At the end of her sentence, Maria stood up and walked towards her room with a hils measuring eight centimeters that was driving Kania crazy.

"He didn't even hear my opinion," muttered Kania who was still at the starting position. He could not stop thinking about this life. He tried his best, but he could only be a puppet.

Maria turned around in the middle of the stairs. With hands on the barrier and legs bent he said, "Oh yes, you can use libraries, and there will be my subordinates teaching you to do business once a week. So .. Have fun," He continued his steps.

Kania's hair is messy because she ruffled it. This Kania, that Kania, No Kania ...

She never even scolded Kania, but always uttered orders as if she shouldn't be about. Only words like that made Kania hear her voice.

Maybe, Kania would be happier if she had a kind and gentle mother like the others. The figure of a child who is a victim of a broken home is very suitable for Kania to carry. Give applause.

"I want to knock down this house!" Kania muttered and left.

”Who said I would study business? I don't want to be like him. I want to be a different person from him. And I will prove that I can go forward without him behind me. " Kania muttered softly by squeezing the book lightly in front of her. He is currently in his mother's library. There is very quiet without any sound, it fits perfectly with his mother's rigid nature.

Kania stepped her foot to the far right corner of the bookshelf facing the door. His gaze never left a dusty gray book. A flash of images filled his mind made his hands limp and his legs jelly-like. Tears almost dripped when his hand almost opened the book, but he immediately undo it. He tidied the book again and placed his body in a sitting position.

Only then did the tears flow profusely. Inside the lonely library, Kania sobbed to herself. The cry of someone who has never cried is very sad. Every sob that came out was like I was making the blood come out. The lonely room was now filled with sobs.

Actually, Kania didn't want to cry when she saw the album ... but she couldn't stop her longing for parental love.

Do all the broken home children in the world experience something like Kania? Of course not. There are still many people who can live happily even though their parents are divorced. That made Kania even more jealous. Regret his life more and more.

But Kania is an adult, she doesn't need anything like that from her parents anymore. Even though in the future her parents will give her all the rights she didn't get from childhood, Kania can say that…. LATE.

"Are you Kania?" Kania turned her head back when someone asked. The person with white skin, neat hair and glasses did not recognize Kania, so she narrowed her forehead, "Who are you?"

That person laughed, ignoring his eyes that caught the puddle in the corner of our eyes and how red Kania's eyes were.

“I'm Davian, the one who will teach you business in the next few months. Did you know? Your mother must have told him. " Said Davian kindly. He was a man of about 25 years with quite a height. Kania thought, this might be one of his mother's friends or subordinates.

Kania rolled her eyes lazily. He was determined that he would not study business as his mother said, if one may argue, he would rather talk about modeling. If you look back, Kania is actually really interested in photography. But he realized, that his mother would never agree to something worse, forbid.

You know what Maria looks like, a very smart business woman. There was no way he wanted his son to become a photographer. So Kania just wanted to be safe. At least he could study beside his job. That's Kania's wish, who doesn't know when it will be achieved

"Hey?" Davian waved his hand in front of Kania. From earlier Kania had been daydreaming and didn't realize that there were still people in front of her. "Daydreaming of what?" Davian asked seductively.

Kania didn't answer. He quickly got up from the chair where he was sitting. "It's useless to come here, because I don't want to .." Kania left, leaving Davian who was dumbfounded at Kania's songong behavior.

"His arbitrary nature is very similar to his mother ..." muttered Davian with a grimace, remembering that his boss always acted and spoke at will. Therefore, the people who work for him must be people who have a mental steel. Must be resilient, anger, and ears. You don't know how that person talks so spicy.

Davian, who was left alone, didn't know what to do, the person she was supposed to teach had fled. Finally, he returned empty-handed.

Kania is now in a Café with a laptop in front of him. He wasn't looking for wifi like everyone else did, he just didn't want to be at home. He also didn't want to hang out with his friends, he wanted to eat himself, he went here.

There are lots of people in this café, but it's also not too crowded. Enough to create a boisterous atmosphere of laughter. That's why Kania likes to be in a place like this. Here, he can see people laughing like there's no burden, making Kania feel it even a little.

But it's not like he likes hanging out with lots of people, he's actually quite introverted. At school, only a few friends were with him often. It's not that he doesn't want to be friends with others, or that nobody wants to be friends with him. He just doesn't really like having to talk about personal matters.

Kania is popular, she is known as a smart, beautiful student, with high character, and full of logical self-confidence. He was also known as a very sociable kid. Actually it's not like that, he just tries to be friendly to everyone, it doesn't mean that he's easy to befriend anyone. Hopefully you will understand what this idea describes.

The cafe door opened, a tall man in a black hat walked around the room with his eyes. There are no empty tables. There were only a few empty seats. One of them was a chair at Kania's table and several of them were occupied by a couple. The man's eyes were towards Kania who happened to meet Kania's gaze.

The man smiled and got closer to Kania. “Can I sit here? There are no empty tables, ”he said and immediately sat in front of Kania. Kania smiled back, "Please,".

The man was still smiling when Kania answered. He watched Kania sit alone with the laptop on in front of him, but not touched. Then he saw the headshet hanging covered in loose hair.

Actually Kania wasn't listening to anything, she just didn't want to be seen as strange by silently watching a horde of humans. So she put on a headshet.

Kania is still like the beginning. Silence with eyes tracing everyone. When her ears heard the ruffling of the man at the next table to her lover, Kania smiled. Thinks this is funny. People who see must think that Kania is watching a movie.

Kania's smile stopped when the man in the hat in front of her tapped the table beside her laptop. Maybe he thought that Kania wouldn't hear it. Kania raised her eyebrows in question. "What is your name?" He asked with a tone of curiosity and hands shaking his way.

"Kania," said Kania by welcoming the hand.

"Danial, Danial Anggra Tri Suseno." Kania smiled, trying to be friendly. "You can call me Dani." Kania smiled again. Because Kania seemed sociable, Danial dared to ask again, “Kania? No long names? " Kania smiled again, starting to think that this was annoying. "Kania Putri Diwanti." The answer.

After that, it was seen that Dani was still curious about Kania. He wanted to chat with Kania but, it seemed Kania wasn't interested. But he didn't give up. "Are you still in school?" he asked.

"Yes, you alone?" asked Kania.

"I'm working," said Dani.

Hearing this, Kania started to look like she was enjoying the chat. And that made Dani relieved. "What do you do?" asked Kania again.

"I'm a photographer," Dani replied.
